I find it very fascinating to know that once the sun, being a regular medium - sized star, expands and burns up the inner planets....including the earth, it's gravitational pull will suck away Jupiter's hydrogen mass so that, once Jupiter shrinks into a dense ball of heavy elements, it could become another earth. I find this quite interesting....even though it won't happen for another 5 billion years or so.

I think astronomy is a very interesting topic. There is so much to learn about the planets, moons, sun and basically the whole Universe and it's galaxies. One of the main things that keeps me constantly interested in astronomy is that we will never know everything about the Universe. It will always remain a mystery.

I learnt about it in health class when I was around 14 I think. It was such a long time ago.

People shouldn't look down upon others if they aren't virgins. Like I said, it's a personal choice...and it's something you go through when you know that it will be special... But I've known quite a few girls who have done it because everyone else has. I've also know a few who now have kids they never planned for, no financial security and are basically screwed up. That is just wrong and you might not realise it, but you do look at them differently then. Each to their own, I guess!

I have the most gorgeous, smartest cat in the entire world. He's quite intelligent and his name is Clinton. I have his pics posted all over my workstation at work. He has incredible markings on him, very distinct. I've spent and will continue to spend a shitload of money on him and keep him spoilt. He's my darling:love:

I once tried watching it. It only took me about 10mins to see what waste of time it was. Absolutely pathetic. Don't people have better things to do than to humiliate and degrade themselves on television?!!!! I'm not embarassed to say that I am one. When people know this, they tend to show more respect to you. It's my own personal choice to hold off for the right person, and it's a decision i'm completely proud of.

Yes. Unfortunately kids are growing up way too fast. It's quite sad knowadays to see kids as young as 11 doing drugs, drinking and smoking. We could all say it's peer pressure, but when you have kids that young experimenting with dangerous and illegal substances, you definitely have to place some blame on the parents for their lack of discipline My parents constantly reinforced the importance of discipline, education, respect and integrity in one's self and to be proud. I was always told to set highest standards and make an effort to achieve them. It's this that has given me a strong mind, resistant to peer pressure, even in highschool, I would alienate myself from anyone who was into all that crap, even if it meant I'd have no friends, which is how it was. As for sex, it is something special that you do with the person you love. It's pathetic and sad to hear 13yr old girls these days, gossiping about how many guys they've done it with. It seems that some parents these days have given up on discipline, and their children. Otherwise, you wouldn't have so many kids roaming the streets.

Gosh when I was 8 I was learning how to colour in properly and was in my "ewww boys got cootties" stage...like ALL other 8 years olds. Thus there is no way that an 8 yr could be in love. Do you even know what those words mean Spikey. I think for now, maybe you should concentrate on your multiple tables and playing dodgeball...for someone your age that would be the....normal thing to do;)

That's happened to me a few times, which is really nice, although sometimes it's just guys who want to hit on you.....losers:rolleyes: Other times it's been just girls and guys who you end up having a lovely conversation with. Doesn't have to involve your whole life story. I've also quite a few times walked up to people, said hello and started talking to them....But only if I sorta know them, and when I feel that they would like someone to talk to. It's nice:)

Although I understand where James is coming from, I do agree that America definitely has alterior motives. I mean, look at the distruction they've caused the Middle East in the past 2 decades. Please... they don't want peace...they want complete control of the Middle East and it's natural resources, one of the main, which happens to be oil. Gosh sometimes it makes me so mad as to how they can show the horror and destruction of 9-11 so that it's constantly in people's minds. They don't want them to forget or get over the shock of the WTC attacks...but they will never show all the gory details of the destruction and horror that they have inflicted on the Middle East, because they will look like terrorists themselves. That's why, although it's sad that people died, I don't care much that two of their precious buildings got blown up.

I can truly and say that I have never felt love or been inlove with any guy. I have lusted and liked and guys have sure lusted after me..... but alas, I have not yet felt the kind of love that breaks hearts and brings the happiest smiles to your face or one that endures time. Come to think of it that's kinda sad but i'm only 21 so I've still got time.

Throughout highschool I was a major loner and content with it. I must admit I was an arrogant little 'beep' and lost interest in people too easily back then. I guess it was just the highschool I went to. I still lose interest in people if I can't laugh, be a smartarse or have a decent conversation with them. Although I attract a lot of people, I only have 4 or 5 friends that I cherish. But I always leave a great deal of time just to hang out on my own. I am very comfortable being by myself.

The bombing of the WTC and the loss of lives was a tragedy...but it is nothing compared to the distruction that America has inflicted on Arab countries in the past years. There are so many people who saw this as payback. I know many people who are from a European not Middle Eastern backgrounds, who saw the WTC attack as revenge. Anyhow, America has bombed the crap out of Afghanistan and no doubt Osama Bin Laden has perished in those caves, along with his followers. They've killed their target, so why are they targeting Iraq and other Middle Eastern countries now? They weren't involved in the bombings. I'll say the American Govt. is just using their "War on Terror" statement as an excuse to destroy other Middle Eastern countries. They don't want to be considered as barbarians or terrorists themselves so of course they have to have something to hide behind.

I think that eventually our world will become sophisticated enough to be able to seek out other life forms...not just the microscopic ones on meteorites but other life forms in another galaxy or Universe. It might not happen for a few centuries but I can't even begin to imagine how amazing a discovery that would be. Even more to see how advanced our world needs to become to actually make that kind of discovery possible. Am I making sense?

If these chicks are like barbie dolls on the first date, chances are they're not going to get any smarter. Here's an idea!!! Next time you see a girl you that appeals to you, why don't you strike up a conversation first before asking for her number. Throw a few intelligent topics along with your smooth talk and see how she handles herself. If you see potential then proceed to ask her out. But if she's as dumb as a nut, you'll find out soon enough and the only money you'll waste is that one drink you buy her, unless she's given an open invitation for you to get lucky;) Anyhow...good luck

Money can buy most things, but the simple and good things in life, like nature, family, love, good health and wisdom....well they're something that money has nothing to do with. Money can buy education, and medicine, but if you are a billionnare and you have an illness with no cure, then money will mean nothing to you. But having it and quite a bit of it is very important for maintaing a good standard of living.
