Oh ait don't forget He Man aqnd the Ninja Turtles....Kids in the eighties had the best toys!
I Loved the Transformers... and Thundercats....I still remeber the theme songs...hehehe. I thing i've still got a few Ninja Turtles collector cards in my Treasure Box...sad, I know...but those were good times. I learnt how to play my favourite poker games in the 80s....Definitely good times. Lego, marbles, checkered bike tights and Rags to Riches rocked. Yup, among many things I would have to say that I was a major 80s child:D
2. I absolutely love sunsets, and sunrises for that matter. I always watch them when I'm on the train to and from work.I wake up pretty early, so I usually catch them both. I try not take them for granted among other things. They are absolutely beautiful.
3. Well this is one of the reasons why I lose interest in people so easily. It's good to joke around and everything but you also want to be able to have intelligent conversations at times too. I ditched my highschool mates once I finished because they were like kinda like the one you described. Some of my college friends, although older, weren't much different , except for a few, one of which became my best friend. I've made other friends from work who are smart and have a fun but mature personality. It's good to have those kind of friends...Funny though, all of them except my bestfriend, are older than me....hehe, go figure  I agree with you totally DBZChikaGhan
4. I want to get a tat, of a pixie faerie or a celtic sign. I already have multiple ear peircings and I don't want to peirce myself anywhere else. I just have to find a good place that would do what I want.
5.
Originally posted by boris yeah, i went to the gym yesterday, it HURTS:therock: i was working on legs yester day, and 3 days ago i worked on arms, it still hurts to raise my arm above my head...owwww it hurts....:bawl: :bawl: :bawl:
This might sound wierd, but you have to keep moving your body so your muscles will relax and the pain will go away. But I like the pain, although i don't get it bad now. This morning I ran 10kms in 50mins. How cool is that:D
6. I think I prefer Velvet Paws' shirts more....lol.... Oh and HC.....You'd probably get the odd looks without that shirt of yours:p hehehe;) Lots-A-Luv
7. I love going to the gym. I have a membership at the really cool gym near where I work. I usually go 4 to 5 times a week (mornings and/or afternoons)...running 5 to 10kms and doing pump classes. I'm absolutely hooked. I would stay at the gym for 1.5hrs hours torturing myself. It's given me a really great bod... fit, strong and ready to kick arse, (not that I do, but it's nice to know I can.....hehehe)....tres cool. Anyway if I didn't go to the gym, I'd probably blow up like the Good Year blimp, considering all the food and blocks of chocolate that I'm constantly shovelling into my mouth. I luv my food.
8. If you are dressed well for the interview, then I don't see a reason why you should take it out..... But it's your choice, and you can always put it back in afterwards.:)
9. Personally, I wouldn't get an abortion because the only way I will ever be with child is if I had planned on having one after I get married. Generally speaking, though, a woman should have the right to choose abortion, however only when the baby is in it's early embryo stage, because at that time it will not have developed any human qualities. It would be considered unethical and basically murder if she decides to abort it in it's later embryo or early feotus stage..... There are so many unwanted children in the world. It's sad to hear stories in the news about how a baby was found in a dumpster, or was smothered because the parents did not want it. Thus I do support a woman's choice to have an abortion.
10. Choir...Ha...I was in the choir in high school for a short period of time. I didn't like it much, though....Realised I could sing just fine on my own...I must say I have a very good voice. :) Oh and Sere, you are so tiny....That is soo cute. Post your pic up soon, eh?;)
11. There will never be a perfect world as long as there is greed and corruption and violence, even if it was only coming from one person, because they can and will always influence another....that's all you need, one ingredient to spoil the pot. But you can always imagine, I guess.
12.
Originally posted by Jamvis what a bad day for this to happen on... i was happy when i got home but then i find out my grandmother died.... CRAP! man... this is bad juju and bad charma.. ~bad things will come but ill keep raving on James... no i have no relation to admin James
Oh...I'm sorry to hear that sweet. Of all days... Well she is in a better place now. Lots-A-Luv
13. Lorrell & Hardy.... In the old classic days, these two were a disasterous riot...HA!!!;) But if you're talking about now, then I would have to go with Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan, if you can call them a duo:huh:
14. My slayer strength would be far superior than that Buffy chick.....I would be more powerfull, more ruthless. I will hunt all of you Dracula wannabes until the end...... Oh and Heaven's Cloud, I'd be coming after you first.:naughty: Oh yeah...you would need alcohol..I bet you'd slip something in their drink too:smirk:
15. It's such a tragic reality these days, that suicide is becoming more frequent. I took a walk through Martin Place here in Sydney the other day. There is a walking trail that has pictures and details of 100s (maybe over 1000) of people who have committed suicide in the past years. It's so sad to know that these people felt they had no other options except to end their existence. It just makes you more appreciative of the simple joys in life. I will keep this boy and his family in my prayers
16.
Originally posted by Heaven's Cloud Ghaa!!! You are from the future!!! Anyway my valentines day has been going great. It is a beautiful day, I played my horn at an extremely elegant wedding, and I am looking forward to going out tonight!!! Who knows what is in store for the evening...:)
Hey...that's the way:)...better than getting blind drunk and being depressed. AND you might even find a cool chick to hang out with;)
17. Hehe...over here in Australia, it's already the 15th, your tomorrow....:D
18. If he is changing schools just because of a girl that has repeatedly said no to his advances, then your friend kinda sounds like a stalker, which could get him into serious trouble. Tell him he'd be a bloody idiot to transfer and he could be missing out on a very good education which would most likely lead to a good future. What do his parents have to say about all this, I wonder. Tell him school isn't meant to be easy, otherwise you'd never learn anything.
19. I got through it pretty easily. Work was pretty busy, so it was just like any other day really. Heaven's Cloud.... you are the only person to blame for your depressive state, and your right, alcohol won't solve anything....but if it will make you feel better, then go ahead and drink and lose a few more braincells ...BUT believe me there are a million other ways to positively get yourself out of your pitifull self absorbed depressive state. If Valentines Day was that important, it should have been made a Public Holiday. There are 365 days in a year to express your feelings to that special someone, and Valentines Day is just another one of those days.
20. I guess i'm coming into this topic pretty late...but better late than never. While the Australian Welfare system is quite more effective than anywhere else, it still isn't perfect. There has been a number of occasions shown on the news about how some people live off the dole they receive and go surfing everyday of the year, while others are actually working for the dole. Ofcourse there are other stories about how people abuse it to an incredible extent. For example, there was this story on one lady was still collecting her mother's pension after she died. Plus, any aid sent to Africa and other countries of the like, are very much being abused by the government. Otherwise how else would you explain that about 20% or less of the population is filthy rich, while the other 80% is disgutingly poor, not to mention the lack of development of infrustructure and natural resources. Greed will be their downfall if the aid given to them isn't carefully monitered. That's my opinion anyway. Make of it what you will.
21.
Originally posted by liamc2 that reminds me, do you remember the closing ceremony of the olympics with the esky(Roy+HG idea) and the *snort* :rotflmao: 'lawnmower'?
Hahahaha, yeah, absolutely halarious:laugh:
