Originally posted by James America actually gets more school holidays than we do, technically. Remember, their school year ends in the middle of the year, just before their Summer time (our Winter). And thus, kids over there get the entire summer off. That's THREE months lol. Our school year starts in late January and ends in late December. So kids here get around a month off school for their end of year break.
True, they do have 3 months off...but we get more term breaks throughout the year...I'm not really sure if it makes up for it, though.....oh well thank God i'm not in school anymore....hehehe:D

Oh you poor thing:rolleyes: Come on, school can't be that bad. Unless you're the one that gets shoved into lockers with just your knickers on....hehehehe...that would be funny:devil: Sorry...overactive imagination:D Anywayz, make fun and make lots of trouble...unless you're the teachers pet....not that there's anything wrong with that...O.K I think i'll shut up now!!!;) Lots-A-Luv

Hey There Stardust O.K here is all the advice I can give U re. Ice skating Keep your knees very slightly bent and always keep your back straight. If you think you are about to fall, bend your knees a little more. That may stop you from leaning too far forwards or backwards and would cause the least damage if you fall. You see...it would be much better to hurt your *** than to fall on your head ;) Better off you sticking close to someone. If you need to make the railing your best friend, then don't skate right near it coz the ice becomes uneven, thus making it hard to balance....you don't need that. Keep it half an arms length away, so that way you can still reach it. Hope all the above helps. Be careful, you definitely don't want any blades riding over ya...ooowwwch!!! GOOD LUCK, sweetie:D Lots-A-Luv
Originally posted by sexyjessie4 That is so true...and if you are a very good-looking person but have a bad personality (you know the stuck-up, conceited, snotty people I'm talking about) it makes you look a lot less attractive than you really are. I know several people who when you first meet them, you think they're gorgeous but then you get to know them and they have just a bad personality and it makes you think they're not that good-looking....haha or at least thats what its like for me!!:)
You are absolutely right....Same goes for me too. I know a lot of people like that. It's a good thing i'm a smart arse. I sometimes let them know what I think of them. It sort of gets me into trouble, but I have my big smile to get me out of trouble...Hehehehe...Ahhh....Hehehe!:D

I went on a picnic to Shark Island with my family and friends. It's this little Sydney Harbour island, quite close to the Sydney Harbour Bridge, which was excellent. Only around 100 people were there, so it wasn't crowded at all. Excellent fireworks. Very impressive Came home around 3.00am and just crashed :)

Oh that looks really cool....Post some more up. Lots-A-Luv

I don't have a dog, but I'd be in hysterics if anything happened to Clinton, my cat.:bawl: He's absolutely adorable and I've spent a tonne of money on him. I've had him for 6 years now. He even has the family surname on his vet and microchip records, and also on his collar tag. I've gone to great lengths to make sure i don't lose him in any way other than old age. But he never goes anywhere outside our front yard...cars and strangers (even some of our friends) scare the crap out him, so I never need to worry about him running on the road or anything. But he's very smart....he can open our backyard door with his paws....and if it gets stuck....he would climb the door until he can place his hind paws on the handle so he can put all his weight into opening it.....how's that for a smart pet. AND he used to hide behind our basket ball whenever my dad got the hose out. But he's bigger now, so I guess he's realised the ball's useless. O.K, I'm done now :D Lots-A-Luv
Originally posted by James Nah, sorry...but nobody has better new year's fireworks than Sydney. I mean, New York looks beautiful on new year's...but its fireworks are pathetic when compared to sydney. This year, they went for a good half hour non-stop...and exploded all around the harbour, with a beautiful finale on the Harbour Bridge. I live in Melbourne, so we have a rivalry to Sydney lol...but I'm willing to admit that Sydney is the place to be on new year's eve. I hope to be there in the harbour some day to see it for myself. :)
Cool, someone who agrees with me. You should come to Sydney next New Year's Eve. I'm sure we will do our best to out do ourselves. :D But I must admit, Sydney does spend a hell of a lot of money on it all...Definitely worth it
Originally posted by stardust ok,so if I'm so pretty, why did sum1 send me an IM sayin I'm ugly??
Well they were either joking...or...they're jealous losers. Those kind of people are probably trapped in their own insecurities...don't worry about it...hold your head up high and be proud of yourself Lots-A-Luv
Originally posted by Crazy White Boy Hey, there's nothing wrong with drinking raw spam, garlic, and vegetables. I think that's what the professional boxers drink.... Here's a couple good facts though.. Kindergarten lasts for 3 years in Japan. And yes, another food fact...... Astronauts are not allowed to eat beans before they go into space because passing wind in a spacesuit damages them.
Kindergarten lasts for 3 years in some Middle Eastern countries too. I think they miss out on pre school and head straight for kindie. Oh...yeah...passing wind in a space suit would damage them in more ways than one:laugh: ....phewww!!!

Star Wars, definitely, especially the old episodes. But episode 1 was great to watch. Can't wait to see the other 2 that will be coming out. I could never really get what the Star Trek episodes were all about. There are so many different versions, very annoying and hard to keep up. Oh well...yep...Stars Wars it is.
Originally posted by Akito U guys in Aussie land wanna see some good fireworks? Hehe, I'll show ya what good is! *Takes out a detonator* Boy, here in Yank land, we'll have the best in the world!
Uh...I don't think so.... Sydney was always voted to have the greatest fireworks ever....maybe not the longest....but it's always the most creative and very interesting to watch. But each to their own, eh?!!!;) Lots-A-Luv

Hey Guys. It's 3.30am here in Sydney. Just got back from one of the Harbour islands watching the fireworks. Excellent as always I must say. We always know how to put on a show here in Aussie Land. Anyway, wishing all of you a Happy New Year Lots-A-Luv
Originally posted by Dragonfire1477 I guess 3 or 4. I'm not attractive, I can't cut in school, and my personality sucks a monkey in real life. That's what's so good about the computer, cause I can talk to people without them worrying about how ugly I am. Plus I don't choke up or get nervous so I can make my personality seem better. Oh, the wonders of electronics!:wigout:
Oh...Don't be so harsh on yourself....I'm sure you're not that bad...Whoever thinks you're that bad, well they're probably a bunch of losers anyway:)
