Reading that, I felt so sad for you. I'm glad it worked out in the end. Sisters can be annoying at times, but they're great. I'm real happy for you and relieved for the fact that you didn't take your own life. I hope you guys stay in touch and even move in together. You sound like you need good people around you.

If we were in a serious relationship and if he was caught cheating, I would end the relationship immediately. Considering i'm a little hot tempered, it won't be pretty and although I would forgive him in time, I doubt that I'd ever keep in contact with him let alone think about "starting over." I would consider it a betrayal of trust and loyalty. I would never give the relationship a second chance
Originally posted by Lady Macaiodh Well, that's not necessarily true. I had a scar on my navel from the last time it was pierced, and I got it re-pierced. I actually had it pierced three different times before that, but always took it out because I'd done it myself. The last one was done professionally, and I've had that for about 8 years. I'm not wearing the ring right, now, though, because I don't want it to get stretched when I'm really pregnant. I'll put it back in afterwards, though.
Are you sure it stretches? I mean, a friend of mine just had her baby and she kept her navel ring in throughout the whole pregnancy. It went back to normal after she had the kid. I guess everyone's different though:)

I had my hair bleached once. My hair colour is naturally very dark brown so when I did it, it was quite a shock. It didn't go completely white but this yellow/blonde colour. Considering how dark my eyebrows are, it looked halarious. Also a few people said I looked evil cause it made my very dark eyes look even darker. I dyed it back to normal 3 months later, but my hair was already damaged, so I kept getting it trimmed. I got sick of doing that so I just chopped it all off. It's at that awkward stage now, but at least its healthy.

My bedroom I guess. I can just go in there and if I don't want to be disturbed I can just lock the door. It's cool. I kinda have it the way I want, so it's my own little hideout

I first had my ears pierced when I was around 2 years old. I don't remember it hurting much. Then in college I got my ears pierced a second time....and a third time, but now I only wear 2 in each ear. I've also got my navel pierced. I tried getting the top of my ear pierced but it kept getting caught on my hair and pretty soon my ear was twice its size and hurt like hell so I took it out. I won't get anymore.

What scares me...lets see. Insects...spiders, roaches and the lot. I HATE creepy crawlies.... Documentaries about death and the supernatural. I get scared out of my mind. I never used to when I was young, but now I just can't handle them....and horror movies aswell. One exception is the X-Files. There could be other stuff that i'm scared of, but those are the only two I can think of at the moment.

Honestly sweet, you're very young and although you might strongly care for this person I don't believe you actually love him. You're only 13 and you'll probably go through this many times as you get older. You're not really being fair on your boyfriend either. If he is as young as you are, then I highly doubt any sort of commitment is on his mind and it probably won't be for a while... Give yourself time to grow and enjoy life before thinking about commiting youself to relationship with anyone. If you two are meant to be together then it will happen on its own...you can't force it on anyone.

I've never been in a car crash (thank God). I'm a pretty alert driver. I'm highly aware of my surroundings on the road. I refuse to get in a car if I don't trust that person's driving. Although I once saw this terrible crash near my area. A van tried to overtake a 4 wheel drive while it was turning and it hit it's rear causing the 4 wheel drive to spin out of control, wind itself around a traffic light pole and crash a front yard fence. Lucky there was noone in the back seat, otherwise they would have been crushed. Don't know what happened to the driver. Worse thing about it was that the van sped off.

I would donate my smile (which comes with dimples) and sense of humour. They would brighten anyones' day. I'd also donate my ability to stand up for myself and give it to someone with less self confidence. I'd also donate my nose. It's almost perfect except for a little scar. Yup that'll do:D

Give her a single red rose (or her favourite flower) and a poem. Personally I think that should be the way to go. Just don't make the poem too sappy or you'll probably scare her away.:)

Twitches and muscle spasms happen to me all the time...My left eye twitches and sometimes my cheeks twitch when I'm nervous or concentrating real hard on something. It's a ticklish feeling. I wouldn't know if I get any twitching at night because i'm a very deep sleeper. However, when I get muscles spasms in my legs it's actually a little painful. I don't get them often but when I do, it's not a very pleasant feeling

It wasn't much different for me when I turned 18. I mean, I was of a legal age to clubbing and drinking which was cool. However, I was still studying. I think if you want all the responsibilities of turning 18, then you have to be a responsibile person yourself. I mean it's a lot of hard work to move out and study and work and have a social life. I chose to stay at home and I'm still living at home now. I can easily move out because i have the finances, but I choose not to because there's nothing keeping me from doing what I want to do and i've got a pretty cool family.

That is so beautiful. Congratulations Deborah. You deserve so much happiness in your life after all you've been through. I hope you and your little boy receive the best of everything life has to offer. I am so happy for you. I'd love to send you something...but don't know where to send it to, so I'll give you my best regards for the health and safety of you and your little bundle of joy.:)

Well I don't think there's any point in being a different person online than I am in real life. However, I am more guarded here than I am in real life, so there are limits as to what I would discuss about myself or what I contribute to discussions. But anything that I post either through threads or PMs are honest answers and opinions

Yep I am addicted to diet pepsi and coke. I just can't get enough of it, but considering my GP told me not to drink anymore because of my recent health issues...I tried switching to caffeine free coke...it's not the same, but i'm slowly getting used to it....chocolate is another matter...no one can tell me to stay away from my midnight mars bars and dark hazelnut chocolate. :p

Well i've always gone by the 'treat people the way you want to be treated', so i'd just treat them like any other human being. I mean, they're just people with very interesting DNA. They're gifted. I wouldn't really think anything of it if one of my friends was a mutant. Although to be quite honest, I wouldn't really want anyone to read my mind or see through my clothes. Thus if anyone was to have special powers, they should respect the people that don't.

Well first of all, it's good that they didn't get hurt....although I don't see how slapping can do any damage among boys. I mean even a girl fight has more "oomph" in it, with all the hair pulling and eye gouging... Even I can throw a mean punch when there's a reason for it. But seriously, your friend needs to learn some martial art discipline....not to beat up people, but to be able to defend himself when a more serious situation arises.

My best feature is my face. Lets just say I don't get scared when I look in the mirror in the morning. I'm pretty happy with the way i am. Although I've got a pretty good body, I wish I was a little taller, so that I would have to shorten my pants all the time:p My best personality feature.....well my sacarstic sense of humour. I love to laugh and I love making people laugh. I generally can get along with anyone if I wanted to and can hold up my end of an intelligent conversation and i'm pretty loyal to those that deserve it.

Nice doesn't always finish last. A girl will always be attracted to the guy that shows confidence and has a little edge. Someone who can make her laugh and will show her a good time. Nice doesn't always have to be boring. I personally would rather be with someone with the above qualities than with somebody who is going to treat me like **** and doesn't make an effort. That is my definition of bad. In the end, bad or not...if a girl sees you as a friend and nothing more, then there's nothing you can do about it. The chemistry might just not be there.

Yeah it's pretty freaky when someone tries to break into your home. It's good that you called the police. Whoever it was would be really stupid to try and break in again. I guess it would be a good idea to install an alarm system or something. If someone tried to do that to my home, i'd get very pissed off and probably grab not only the heaviest, but also the sharpest object I have and call the police. I would just feel very violated if someone broke into my home and searched and stole my belongings.

There's nothing wrong with developing online friendships. I've met some really great people here. I consider Heaven's Cloud to be one of my closest online friends who I'd love to meet in person, because I believe our conversations have always been honest. As far as online dating goes, disregarding the whole "marriage" thing that some members have going here, I think it kinda develops from an online friendship with someone. I can't say that it's unreasonable for someone to develop feelings for a person whom they've been conversing with online for a while. HOWEVER...you can never really know if a person is being completely or even partially honest about themselves, so it's always best not to divulge too much personal/sensitive information, on the chance that it turn out wrong or dangerous.... Especially if you've revealed too much info on yourself to someone you've only been conversing with for a week, just because they sent you a hot pic of themselves...that pic could be anybody!!!!

What is your favorite part of celebrating birthdays?
Delian replied to Cora Jane 2's topic in General Discussion
Well I used to like having parties, but now i'll be turning 23 very soon and I'm getting old, so it doesn't feel like much of a celebration. But my friends will probably end up doing something for me anyway... -
What do you do when you don't know what to say to someone?
Delian replied to Rhys Mayiessen's topic in General Discussion
I had this problem once with one of my good friends. We just came to an uncomfortable silence, so I just turned to her and told her that I don't really know what to say....she felt the same way and we found the situation rather amusing and ended up chatting for another hour. I guess you should try telling them the truth and see what happens. -
I'm in full support with Palestine, although I do not support suicide bombings. Palestine had always been Palestine since the dawn of time. It consisted many different ethnic groups living together peacefully. It was only about 3000 years ago Palestinians allowed the Jews to live peacefully in a small part of Palestine. However, as soon a the Jews felt that they were strong enough to initiate troubles, that's when problems arose. Isreal had never really existed except in the belief and in the mind of the Jew. At the time of the Roman Empire, Palestine still existed however under Roman control. It was only after WWI when the British occupiers of Palestine had started to help the Jews gaining momentum and providing them with weapons and support. After world warII the Britain with the support of the other victorious nations in that war, voted in favour of a Jewish state on a part of fertile crescent(of which Palestine is only a part)land. Since then, the American tax- payers were supporting Israel through billions of dollars paid to the created state of Israel each year. This helped the Jews to commit more attrocities against the people of Palestine and the the region. Today more than 10 Palestinians are massacred each day under the sight of the so called civilised nations. The great American heroist Rachel Corrie knew about these attrocities and tried to do something about them when the Israeli bulldozer ran over her. She was recently in the news so i'm sure some of you know about her. PLEASE NOTE All this information is expressed objectively and with the knowledge of this part of history. For whoever who doesn't believe any of the above should consider learning more about the history of Palestine and Syria and also a book called "The International Jew" - The Protocols of the Elders of Zion, written by Henry Ford, the founder of the Ford Motor Company
