Actually if I was to say I had no patience for someone I would say its for people that voluntarily do the things they do that aggrevate me. The "stupid" dont have a choice to be smart or not, they are just dumb and theres no choice. I am actually quite suprised at you saying what you said trans. Its almost exciting to me to meet a gay male who has said what you said above. WoW! tolerance man, I even have it for democrates. You should have it for the dummies. (or wait are they the same... just kidding.) I would say my only problem with the boards is the people on it who do things just to insult others. I hate that, and just by chance, those are the kinds of people that I have no patience for, which they also dont deserve. Other wise, I dont have any beef with the boards. Well, even though I dont really like to run my mouth about it, taoism is a great philosophy in my opinion. Its a religious belief to most, but thats all in a matter of the way you personally take it. Personally, I think the absentee ballots would have worked against gore. Most absentees are from military voters. Military voters are usually conservatives. But either way, I would have to say the topic has hit just about every point that can be made. I also think that james had a valid point about how gore handled the election. Oh well... the past is the past and theres really nothing we can do about it now. Plus, with the fact that in the last week gore has made a big press about his new found opinion of making all health care a government run system, I am glad hes not in office. I dont really want to have to be assigned a doctor, nor wait months on end to get an operation. As you can tell, I dont think a national healthcare system is a good idea when you can claim with medicare and get the same benefits.

The gta cast sounds like the best ever. Hands down they would get the award for this thread. Lance bass sucks. Plain and simple. I have one that seems like its gonna be a good one. Nobodies mentioned it either. Micheal Ironside (bad dude from highlander, and in that horrid movie star ship troopers as the sgt.) He does the voice for the main charactor in the new game splinter cell. Hes got a really raspy voice, it seems like its gonna be a good one for sure. But still hands down, gta sounds like the best all time cast. I mean ray liota, damn thats nice.

I read , I always do. I actually am glad you pointed that out because it almost explains how gore could get more votes but not legitimatly win. Look at new york, gore got it by about 2 million votes. Even with that amount of votes, the state still only gets to put in the usual amount of electoral votes. That means that if gore had won by, say, 500, the electoral votes would have still been the same. This all goes back to what I was talking about in earlier post about the design of the system. With gore catching an over whelming amount of votes in one state and skewing the countrys popular vote, its easy to see why gore could have had the 500,000 extra but still not win the election. Although, I stand corrected on gross number of votes. I still insist though, that gore did not have the popular vote of the country. Bush did win 30 states out of 50. I would say it was like an overwhelming popularity in a couple of specific areas. Well, I must say now that this is pretty much over for me. The discussion is an intresting one, but an old one. Let the chart speak for itself. I think that if gore had really won the countries popular vote, he would have gotten more states. Instead he only kept up because of democrate strong holds.

Alright, Im trying to get my hands on a good 2d fighting game or two and I want to know about the snk .vs. capcom stuff. If you guys know any good 2d fighting games, post your reviews of them here. I also want to know all I can about the most recent snk vs capcom game for the ps2. Specifically, I want to know everything and anything you guys can tell me. Are there any players they left out of the game? are there any major lapses in the playing? and are there things I should know before I run out and get one of the games from this series? I wasnt saying that the states were even. I was saying the system helped to level things out a bit. You and I just about agreed on most things only we woulnt admit we agree. One specific thing we dis agree about is that gore got 500,000 votes more than bush. I never heard of that happpening and I followed the election closely. Bottom line is that Im tired of arguing this subject. I just dont care enough. So, as you put it... you can kiss my a**. I dont think thats very much my style, but I really have lost all desire to take part in a debate that the entire united states government couldnt come to an agreement on. Sorry but I just dont have the energy to care anymore. Im not really trying to twist the truth. I never said the republicans play fair and sqaure all the time. I was citing an example of the things you were talking about that related directly to the topic. If you put up a topic that everyone knows the rupublicans played dirty in (nixon), then I would talk about republican wrong doings. But in the mean time, I was talking about gore and his "deal", not democrates in general, not republicans in general. I dont like the idea of being banned, so Im gonna refrain from going any further with this. I would also like to say Im sorry. I dont mean to cause so much contention on the boards. I just happen to tell it like it is. Put a topic about dirty republicans up, and I will be happy to write horrible things about them. Its not like I fully support bush in every action. Shoot, Zacharias mussaoui doesnt deserve an american trial, but they give him one. All the while, Yassar hamdi, who was born in the u.s., got put into military custody and is awaiting a military tribunal. That is actually the right course of action, since it clearly states on a u.s. passport that if you join a foriegn army you forfiet your u.s. citizen ship. But with that in mind how does john walker fit in. Bottom line to this rant is that I dont agree with everything the republicans do, but we werent talking about that stuff, we were talking about gore and his "deal".

You do realize there is a difference between showing bias, and telling the truth. If gore had won floridas popular vote he would have won the state. If he simply got more votes in the country, that doesnt mean he got the popular vote. You really need to account for the electoral system that equalizes the say of a little state like rhode island and a huge state like new york. Gore lost, just as you said we all know, and its over. But what bothers me is how you managed to dodge the points made in my last post. If you ask me, nothing illeagal or wrong happend. Gore just did the ultimate job of getting a bunch of loud mouth politically active people to scream and whine about him and his losing the election. Oh well, gore lost. Too bad.

I think the otaku boards are great. Its really the only forum I take part in. Its size promotes great discussion, and its varies personality types make for an intresting variety of subjects. I also like the fact that I can always debate topics here. Its the only board Ive ever been on, and since I started Ive gotten dozens and dozens of letters about "try my board." Not one of those boards will ever really make it because they are trying to steal the fan base of the otaku. Although I do have to say one thing, my little brother thought that the word otaku had to do with perverted stuff in japanesse. I finally set him straight but it was quite a laugh. But I have loved my time here. Im a geek at heart and this site caters to geeks like me. One thing I would change is the political acceptance on the boards. Theres a lot of stuff we dont discuss, but this is an otaku board and not a political board. So its cool. But for the most part, I just love this place. Plus, having banners, and custom avatars. That stuff is great, even better is the people of the board. Varying personalities, always helpful with technical stuff, and a great staff. I wouldnt do anything besides give the otaku a full 10 out of 10. This place is the best.

I just saw an awesome commercial for this game. It was actually really funny and in the end, the guy sneaking around got caught and it showed a little cg exclamation mark over his head. But what really got me, was that it made the point repeatedly, only on xbox. So whats the deal, is it really only for xbox? Did you guys see the commercial?

Ok, I want this thread to be specifically about the growing popularity of gundam. Maybe contributing factors in the opinions of you guys. Maybe just places you've seen gundam you wouldnt have expected. With that thought in mind, Ive got a question. Did you guys happen to watch conan o'brian the other day. Specifically the show with wesley snipes and oasis on. Well this is why I ask, If you watch a showing of conan, you will see that before coming back to the show or leaving it for commercial breaks, it shows him or someone in a costume. Well guess what I saw, thats right, I believe its the rx-78 gundam. Well I guess it would more specifically be the rx-78 o'brian model. Either way, it was o'brian in a gundam costum. A really good one too. I thought I was mistaken but then I realized I wasnt and it was really cool. I couldnt believe gundam was on adult late night tv. So did you guys see that? I love it. Gundam is growing ever more popular and Im willing to bet the audience is getting older and older (in america). What about you guys, what is contributing to gundams success and where are you seeing gundams that indincate its growing popularity. Maybe even a little credit goes to the "dreaded" cartoon network.

I was just thinking and I came to a realization. I think that for the fusions of gogeta and veggeto. The personalities are dominantly the person of the name. Vegetos personality is vegeta mostly and gogetas is mostly gokou. But phisically its the opposite. Vegeto phisically is dominated by gokous looks, but gogeta looks more like vegeta. That theory would address all the different claims here. personalities are those of the names, phisical appearance is that of the oppisite.

Well dude, I have read plenty of lao tzu, in fact that is the exact reason I dont talk about the fact that I have read his work. As for me being a hipocrite, I dont know how to responed. Actually, I dont think Im goning to respect it with a response. As for hippies, I have made my opinion clear. And for the flag, I say, what you had said, and for that, I respect your opinion. I love the justice league. The savage time movie was really good because it showed a bunch of first for the team. Wonder woman got a kiss from a man and enjoyed it. GL lost his powers and had to go back to plain old human defenses, like with the gun. Both of those were great. As for the rest of the series, I think they do a really good job of all the charactor personalities. The flash always trying to pick up the ladies. Superman just being the leader. Batmans solitude. They all are very individual, and each are done very well. I would say this show is on par with the best of cartoon networks shows.

Ryu, Snake, Mario, and the sarge from army men isnt bad either. Those guys are all cool. But unfortunatly, I dont get to play too many adventure games. Most of my games are racing games, or air combat, or fighting, or first person shooter. Although I gotta say, I know there are more charactors I love, I just cant think of them right now.
