  1. That is all good reasoning, but there is an unknown in the equation you didnt account for. Gokou never fought with his full possible strength. He just held buu off. Its also important to remember that when everything cn airs is over and then they get past veggeto, gokou is gonna fight kid buu. the most powerful of all buus. gokou doesnt beat him on his own, but in the one on one fight, gokou puts up a very good fight. that means it is possible that the unknown full power of gokou is enough to reach beyond gohan. Its also important to remember that when gokou comes back to fight the buu with gohan and gotenks absorbed, although he cant handle him without fusing, that buu is far stronger than the one gohan fights.

    Thin Buu

Actually they are all alive, its part of gokous plan. See when gokou escaped to another place to fight kid buu, the two people he saves are hercule and dende. Hercule to get the people to give energy and dende so they could use the dragon balls. By the point the spirit bomb is in use, they have all been wished back.
  3. I'm here in what I call Dump Water, Louisiana. But its really a place called Mandeville. It's not really all that bad, but, vegeta rocker, I feel for you. I come from Virginia, and down here I feel all the frustrations that you do. It seems like everyone is just not at all an intelligent person. (I know I'm not a genious or anything so its even more aggrevating) Everyone drives like crap and one of the states most famous city mayors, was a socialist. Even more dissappointing is that both of our senators are democrates, yet every night on the way back and forth from school all I see is enviromental terrorism. (trash in every street and ditch, open air fires with god knows what-everything besides leaves) But atleast its a lax state when it comes to prosecuting criminals for non-violent, non property related crimes. (drugs, but not the hard ones) Mandeville is also home to the largest non-suspended bridge in the country, 33 miles long or something. (oooowww! now thats exciting) So how many wanna move to Mandeville right now. Yea, I thought so, heck maybe we will cross paths as I'm leaving.
  4. Yes! James, I couldn't have said it better myself. And thats for both your subjects of North Korea and communism. I also want to mention that I find it almost insulting to see people try and tell me I don't know about communism and capitalism. Basically Im not even gonna bother, the subject is actually remedial to me after this point in my education, and its amazing that you (cloricus) would act like I didn't know what I was talking about. (Just go back and read all the prior post) Its not even worth the time to talk about it. Just dont act like I'm simple minded. I also know, just as any, (oh I guess 8th grader and up) should who the Bulshevics (sp?) were. Come on guys, this wasn't even a discussion about that bogus practice of communism. This was about North Korean nukes, and really I just post this because I wanted to make it clear that I have stated everything there is to state in one long back and forth with James (a most excellent debate/debater). Credit to James for the argument and a big boo to all of you who think North Korea is no danger. (that also goes for any of the commies here, boooo!) Down with Communism! cya ------------------------
  5. Actually rick, your right, but there is no question. It could not have worked. This is because the gundam didnt base its powers on a persons fighting skill. It was a persons life force. So rain was the best canidate for this possibility and it didnt happen. Only allanbe could be another possibility, but I really dont think the fact that a person has fighting ability is what drives that gundam. It was the life force. And so, the gundam was screwed for good. no one could have saved it besides one real possibility,.... doctor kashu. His knowledge of the gundam could have possible fixed the circuitry, but that is the only way.
  6. Well as for unforgivable things... I never tried to address them. We both know that America, Austriallia and every other country have done such actions. But I never wanted to get into that. Although Ive gotta say, these Korean protestors were not protesting anything else besides possible actions in Iraq. I am glad that even with all of our debate we can come to some sort of conclusion. But I want to make it clear that any comment as outlandish as my own original statement should be "taken with a grain of salt." I think we both know what the idea of my debate has been. I just hope that I can remain as composed as yourself and I have been here, in all of my debating. I truly am happy we get to debate this way. thank you.
  7. Yes exactly, it was a knee jerk reaction. So why treat it as if it was a truely meaningful statement. I have felt that way for a long time, but it was like changing the oil in my car to me. I knew it was not cool, but it had to be done. The thing is that I have always kept an eye on european, asian and american protestors who painted America to be a "bad" nation. After keeping that eye out for this amount of time, and having my own sense of loyalty and patriotism, I have grown to resent all those who do these protesting actions. Does that mean that I always say the right thing, no. Do I always make my points exactly as I had meant, no. But do I honestly care for any other human, no matter who (excluding those who I deem "evil"), yes, I care for them. Koreans are people and they deserve all that I have, but should I have to ignore the elite intellects of the Korean country saying inflamitory comments and marching over an american flag, no. I should be able to say the same sort of comments. Which I am allowed to, but out of manners and respect, I never resort to insults. Rather, I try to point out all my country had done.
  8. It is true that the protection of the many out wieghs the protesting of the few. I've never been the guy to take his ball home when he was lossing the game. But my patience with people only goes so far. With drawing my countries troops is not the correct path. I have known that the whole time, but I still have to stick by my comments simply because the North Koreans are killing Americans to this day. Believe it or not, the North Koreans killed soliders cutting away fallen trees in the dmz with in the last ten years. How can I actually stand back and not react to these protestors? I really never wanted the with draw of the soldiers because of the protest, it actually was a feeling of mine well before that. I have felt this way for a long time. To me, Korea is just a Veitnam that never had social upheaval.(hippies) I am the type who knows evil exist and knows that I cant make this world a perfect place. With that in mind, I have always wanted to "cut our losses" and just leave. I really do want the Korean people to be happy, but the comment made, was simply to inflame a group of people who would never see it. You are right about mostly all of what you have said, especially since you acknowledge the protestors ignorance, but to take this as seriously as has been done and all the while not addressing the questions of my last post is just not being fair. You are a fair person, very fair,(hell, you let me ramble), but I would just like you to look at the very first post I made and tell me that you honestly believe I meant to harm the innocents of S. Korea by with drawing their one life line to a descent, growing, stable country. No one, especially myself wants good people to suffer. I would also like to discuss the questions from my last post before this.
  9. Obviously we disagree. Im not trying to say that these people aren't allowed to protest. The freedoms they have been granted have allowed them to do so. But it still does not exscues the actions of a group. Although I may say these people should be more supportive of us, that doesn't mean I say they can't protest. It means that I will not accept their actions based on the facts. Fact is, Americas possible actions against Iraq are just about the same as those taken to liberate Korea. Although the target of operations in Iraq will be to take out saddam, the end product will be to rid the world of a major problem and to liberate the people of Iraq. I can give my opinion stating that I believe America should ditch the South Koreans but that was not to personally hurt the people of Korea. That was a statment to collectivly effect the people who protest, yet to be possibly taken actions. Yes there are shades of gray, I know that just as any one should, but that does not exscues the blatent disregard of facts. America is a good country. Korea is a struggling country that should appreciate our involvment. They dont. I dont want anything bad to come on the people who are innocent and descent, but my pithy comment about dropping involvment in Korea is not enough to warrent our tit-for-tat, back and forth debate about the protesting of a group of idealistic and ignorant students. My question for you is... What do you think the people of South Korea think of the North Korean communist regime? what do you think they think of North Koreas obtaining nukes? And do you think they would rather have the U.S.A. in possesion of nukes or the communist? Who do you honestly think the North Koreans would use a nuke more judicously than America? And what is the good of North Korea gaining controll of such a weapon? Its also important to ask, what is the good of questioning and protesting an action that will only benefit the innocent? Does anyone truly believe Iraq would be better off with Saddam? Obviously the South Korean college students do. So why would they protest this action, all the while ignoring a nation to their north who is persuing the most devastating weapons ever created. I don't believe in blind allegance or foolish acceptance of anothers actions (none the less, big brother government). But I also don't believe in protesting just for the sake of insult.
  10. You do have a point, the majority of Koreans are not represented by a group of protestors. But to say that my arguement is not valid is not correct. I may want to "crush" communism. But to crush it, does not take the lives of my granparents generation, as demostrated by Ronald Reagon. Communism will always crush itself. All I was getting at is that, in my opinion, if a country is will to protest adimitly about the "crimes" of a nation they owe their independence to, they dont deserve the support of that nation. Some say one bad apple spoils the bunch, I say that I never forget crimes against my country, and that includes hippies. Look at my sig, and you will see what I think of those ignorant enough to protest against their own country, all the while not appreciating the freedoms they have to do so. Korea is a complicated issue, but I have made my opinion clear. Those who can not acknowledge a great country, dont deserve its blessings.
  11. Wait a sec. I dont want to drop efforts there just because it takes work. I also dont think America owes them anything. Responsibility and commitment are also not something I think the U.S. has to take up over there. This is what I was talking about earlier, they owe the 54,000 who defended them from communist, not the other way around. I also want to mention about that comment you made to me about,"screw the Afghans too". That is irrelevant to me because the Afghans havent stomped on the American flag or showed any lack of respect. Rather, Hamed Karzi has gone out of his way to show his appreciation. This, the Koreans have not done. They have just insulted and protested American actions. That is why I said screw the Koreans and to drop my countries un-appreciated actions there and not anything about Afghanistan. And I will make sure the lounge doesnt become an unofficial political board. Sorry for my strong opinions, but they do have reasoning behind them.
  12. O.K. I will watch the quality of my post. I also want to point out that although I go off and say obviously unreasonable things, I am more reasonable than to honestly think anyone should just be forgotten. I just get aggrevated. Thats all. I would like to see the relations between North and South Korea grow, but I also dont think the North Koreans are ever going to be content with staying above the 38th. I think its very likely that the second U.S. troops pull out,(which I hope they do) the communist will crash over the border and take what they believe to be thiers. As for nukes being put into play. The more I think about it, the less I believe they would use them. But does that mean I would let my guard down, no. (still, it would be silly to nuke the very land you want to take over) I also want to mention that I think its great that this thread even lasted. Most of the time, these sorts of threads dont make it. Does this mean the boards can go political again? Well, maybe not, but still, thanks for giving opinions. And that goes to everyone, even those who think communism is good.
  13. has anyone else noticed or felt that a downward stroke was easier to make than a side ways or upward stroke. Ive gotten back some creative energy lately and have been drawing like crazy since. thats how the thought came to mind. even more, has anyone noticed it seems easier to make a stroke to a point where you can see the ending spot rather than say, having your hand covering the path. what about you guys?
  14. I actuallly dont make any sort of judgement of our "ethical status". I do how ever know that the u.s.a. has no intention of using these weapons of mass distruction. where as, other nations intentions are totally unknown... that bothers me. its not that america is more honest or that some one else is less honest, its just the facts that these other countries have nothing to lose, and we all know what that makes them. and as for communism... anime lover has it right. its not like your family owned farm stays that way. it becomes property of the government and then they put up an apartment complex where the house was. then everyone in that complex works the fields. unfortunatly, that means that none of the people working the land give a crap about it and nothing ends up working the way it was planned. its also important to remember (I dont know how many of you have taken college level ancient history classes) but the first systems of money, record keeping, and writing were all invented because of what we commonly call today, capitalism. we wanted to keep what we worked for, even if we had extra. so we came up with cuniform and clay tablets to keep track of who got more when it was time to divie it all up. just remember that communism goes against inalienable human rights and human nature. side note: there is one place communism worked. monistaries another thing- I like to have things of my own.(thats one more reason I say down with communism.)
  15. I think its really naive of you all who believe people woulnt use nukes. Im not saying its going to happen, or thats its not. but assumption is the mother of all f ups. (thats from some cheesy movie) and I feel that way, to assume your enemy woulnt do something just because you think it would be stupid, is like thinking some gang banger woulnt shoot you because he would end up in jail. Im not gonna risk my life on that, and if I was in a position of power, I wouldnt risk the lives of millions on " nobodies that stupid".
  16. yea, I know how those things happen. I have a chocolate lab that has the worst tendancie to lay down in the worst spots. the bottom of the stairs, that dark hall way. she always gets right where its darkest and its always in the perfect spot to get kicked or stepped on. dont worry, dogs heal well, and as long as she knows you love her, all will be well. sorry to hear about it though.
  17. hey hey hey. look at this. g is airing again. it looks like we are gonna get a really fast season of g gundam. hey, one fast gundam series is better than no gundam series, right. how sweet.
  18. wow, thats amazing that you dont care. i guess it goes to show how sincere you really are about crap in your sig. but i want this to be on subject so lets just forget the steven ambrose thing and address the threads issue. communist with nukes.
  19. you are right, everyone knows they are bad. but, just cause they are bad and everyone knows, we should let more bad countries get them? and I said the steven thing because you obviously respect him and Im sure that he would not react to this new devolpment with a "so what" sort of attitude. also, its important to remember that saddam doesnt have the kind of nukes we are talking about. his nukes are the size of a school bus. the north koreans have nukes that can be launched on a missile. thats a major difference, because delivery is almost as important as the bomb itself.
  20. I dont know what it is, but I come from a town called williamsburg VA. where they have a group called fife and drum. they are basically re-enactors of colonial era drummers and fifers for the military. but they can play like crazy. have you heard of them? they are quite famous. could you explain more about the "drum corps."? thanks

    Question!!!!

well I havent seen it, but yesterday, gohans eyes turned green when he powered up. I though saiyans eyes went green when they were super. Im thinking that maybe he can go super, but his hair doesnt change color. I believe someone else said that before me on this board also.
  22. do you really want to find out if someone would launch one. plus, when people talk about the u.s. having nukes, its nothing but how bad nukes are and what a danger they are. all the sudden when one more hostile communist nation gets one its, so what. I dont think steven ambrose would agree with that kind of statment. ---------------------------------- maybe Im being a bit harsh. Im sorry. but anyone and everyone(military historian or not) should know that another hostile communist country with a nuke is bad. whether they are openly or secretly planning on using it or not. nobody should have nukes, and countries like north korea (and pakistan and india for that matter) jumping on the nuke train is a bad thing.
  23. what in the world is the point of an inter-net board thread about secrets. the second its up, its not a secret. as for my secret... ---------------------------------------------------- and what!? trans nerve... you mean your not straight like an arrow? man, you had me fooled. (just kidding, I knew that, I dont think you were exactly trying to hide it)
  24. Yup thats right. after today, N. Korea has come out and said they have a nuke weapons program and they claim to have the nukes them selves. I dont want this to be true, but Im almost sure it is. american gov. officials will not say wether it is true or not, which to me means that they may really have them. the way I see it, if we didnt know they had them, then there is a good chance that the secret weapons program they claim to have, really was a sucsess... for them. its even more aggrevatting to me because this was all prohibited by an agreement they made with pres. william jefferson clinton. with an agrement saying that they wouldnt build the weapons, I wouldnt be suprised to find out that the u.s. stopped any major efforts to find out about any possible weapons programs.(well atleast for the prior administration, and up till current in the new one) even more discouraging is the fact that the n. koreans are communist and we all know that major communist countries have a dendancy to pass on arms to their "younger siblings". I.E. china-n.korea. unfortuantly the d.o.d. hadnt been really worried about spies in the 90s, until the u.s. found out that a chineese spy had gotten secrets about the m-88 tactical nuke, "suit case bomb",from los alomos nuclear facility, to the chinesse government. so now the u.s. is sure the chinesse have some of our highest secrets. question is... do the koreans? in light of recent events, I wouldnt be suprised if they did. lets just hope not, for our sake, and the sake of the south koreans. ------------------------------------------------------------ now that Im thinking about it, 54,000 americans died to liberate south korea from communist and with in the last three weeks south korean students marched on an american flag in protest of the war on terror. with that in mind, I say, forget south korea... ---------------------------------------------- of course that is kinda harsh because not all of them hate america, but those ignorant students that would protest aggrevate me because if they were in n. korea, they would all be killed for protesting. (of course, not if they were protest the u.s.a., hell, even saddam lets his people do that.) but protesting anything about their own country would end with a little tienamen square. so maybe the south koreans should think about that before they protest the country that ensured their independence. I mean its not like the south korean/american governments are the ones keeping families apart by not letting people leave north korea. DOWN WITH COMMUNISM.
  25. I really am sorry. I hope things get better, and I think you should know that I hate (cant even put into words) insurance companies. good luck. I know things will work out, just dont give up. may god be with you. (although your location says depths of hell, which makes that kinda hard, but then again nothing is hard for a god.) sorry. I just hope things get better.
