yea i dont think thats a mistake worth trying to point out, theres a ton of stuff every time they try and translate. like when vegeta showed up after blowing up babi dees ship. in the dub funi it had the supreme kai saying something like "no, no , youve got to get away" in the real stuff he read vegetas mind and already knew vegeta was planning on giving up his life. its the language gap. and just plain censoring.

intresting and well argued from all sides but based on content and a lack of formal acknowledgment lead me to believe it is just rummer. of course there is a side of me that wants it to be true. never know...

i think they would have because if gokou was able to do it on his own (not mentioning the thousands who contribute) then he would only be able to do better with the added power of vegeta. but im suprised this hasnt been closed cause it is kinda redundant.

i didnt know gokou and veggeta were offered the earings a second time. i thought it was a one time only thing. once boo dissolved it, that was it. or thats how i thought it went. oh well.

actually you could just wish back debora and babi-dee with every one else and not really worry because you are now powerful enough to take just about anyone with ease. i think not only were they trying to just save the trouble and get the good ones, but also planned on the defusion just to get back to normal. i dont think they knew that the end product would some how create a new unseen boo. kinda like cell in that once the charector gained all the power and lost it, no matter what the end product (unless completely killed) was stronger than the one before. just like saiyans. but, i also think that gokou really didnt make any real mistake except letting dr. gero live. then again no mistake in the series can really be called a mistake because the misfortunes always led to a way to over come. only one mistake is really sucky, yamcha letting the green monster kill him by turning his back on a half beaten green guy and got caught slippin. if yamcha could have gone with them on the freiza stuff... that would have been cool.but no he let his guard down. and gohan letting his power dilute his judgement with cell, just like vegeta. or trunks not just acting on the chance and totally wipping out cell with the little skermish they had just before cell got 18. those were mistakes too. but gokou didnt really make many.

i dont know, but i saw a show on discovery with a scientist taking about use all living the same amount of time in relitivity to the number of heart beats we have during our lives. a mouse has one heart rate and a dog has another. different human years but roughly the same number of heart beats in those years. probably only applies to mammals, but interesting theory none the less.

could you possible explain the difference between the wahabi-ism i know of and the wahabi your taking of. i dont know too much but if you could give me a better view of the more popular sects. also if you could explain why the saudis claim to be wahabist and act the way they do. really just the difference in between the sects would be enough for me, do you think you can elaborate? i also want to mention that im not trying to pick on any one country.

ok, this is one of the most bothersom subjects (to me) in all of the world. i'd like to start with a rough copy of dialog seen on a private t.v. station based in saudi arabia. the 2 invovled are an unknown interviewer and a 3 year old girl. my source is fox news. pick on that if you wish but its out there in the international media and reliable. the saudi stations name is IRQAA TV. fade in... interviewer- how old are you? 3 y.o.- 3 and a half. int.- are you a muslim? 3-yes. int.- are you familiar with the jews? 3- yes. int- do you like them? 3- no. int- why do you not like them? 3- they are pigs and apes. int.- where did you learn this? 3- the koran. ... fade out. now it doesnt take a genieus to know why i find that disturbing. im worried because this is something that is a common thing now. did anyone see the young girl in a german protest, sitting on her fathers shoulder with fake dynomite strapped around her waist. i know that it is a misinterpretation of the koran by extremist, but that is what the saudis' consider a national religon. u.s. foreign policy... first off it hasnt been changed in 55 years towards the middle east. did you know robert kennedy was killed by a palestinian ? coincedentally he supported the u.s. action to give 700 f/14 fighter jets to isreal. saudi arabia is a major supplier of oil to the u.s. and they are also supposed to be an allie of the u.s. in the actions on that side of the world. how can we expect these people to not start a war, requiring a large scale invasion/rescue of another riegon? i want to add that the u.s. army, although being used more in the clinton administration than ever, was down sized by one half, to just 200,000. ...islam isnt a problem, nor is christianity ,but the kkk, or the taliban. islam is being practiced in goverment. this is wahabeeism. a denomanation of islam. a religion supported by several mid. east countries. countries that have a birth rate twice that of a european country or america what are we to do? we cant ignore it; allowing it to grow a seed of hate. we cant change the way people think. we cant give in. we cant kill them all. what will my children have to endure. god help us all.

sorry bud, but i only wish. i have a sob story for you if you want it... oh hell, theres no choice now. well about a year ago my family decided to move. about 4 months before the move i went to a party and by some odd stroke of luck (and with some help from my knowledge of the fact i wouldnt be in town a few months from then) i asked a girl out and actually got a good answer. we hooked up and it was the most important relationship for me to date. then right when things in my life seemed better then ever, i was up rooted and had to move. girl friend, no more. contact with girls in general, none. now ive been living where im at and for the last year all i could think of is what i had. i guess i just wanna say... have fun. enjoy it while you can and make it last as long as possible. trust me, if your not one of the select few, girls that honestly care seem to be few and far between. i sure wish i was back with laurie right now. infact, if she was around, i would probally have never taken to the boards and never gotten to my jr. member stat. ive become a geek since i moved and i thought i was one before i moved...

power levels are kinda funny cause they did stop in the tv stuff after trunks, but then in majin buu they come back with baba dee or bibi de which ever, point is that they are also on cards that you can get and those things are from official sources and for charectors like ss3 gotenks or any other person. i think power levels are just to trivial to "worry" about. although i do think the whos stronger questions, are intresting to think about. i still say gogeta.

power levels in numbers are kind of silly. i also want to point out something already mentioned in a different way; since the dance isnt for good, they can go back to normal after winning and then use it again another day. of course it still has the obvious dis advantage. i also in opinion think its logical to say that gogeta in movie 12 compared to veggeto in the buu saga, gogeta is stronger. this is only opinion and i dont think there is a way to prove other wise. of course you could say that since veggeto had to use a bunch of attacks(including big bang) to get buu and gogeta used a few actual phisical hits and just one energy attack to get janenba; gogeta is stronger.

i think this is amazing for 2 reasons. one, james is writting more than my newbie butt has yet seen and i like his nuetral (or as close to) views. second, im glad to see some of these kids back pedalling. james has the story right. and just to add random trivial knowledge. you want to know why the us funded the afghans during the 80s. just so we could make rambo 3, just kidding, it was to give russia a taste of what they gave us in vietnam. 9/11 no matter how you cut it was wrong. in fact, taking what we know. bin laden should have thanked the u.s. but instead he wanted 10 years and decided to smite the hand that had fed him. afghanistan was in serious trouble when they were fighting the russians and for the first 3 or 4 years of the russian occupation, the afghans were being slaughtered. until.... the u.s.a. gave a little help. i also want to say im glad to see the voice of reason (james) take on this debate during the time im not posting.

when i was writting about pan, i was at a bias of only knowing the dbz stuff and not gt. with that in mind, i was saying; each gen seemed to go to new levels compared to the previous. when the dbz sagas ended; pan was strongest. i say that thinking of strong not just being brute strength but as strength to weight/age. if you look at it like that and keep toryiamas mind set of not continuing the series; you could say pan was the strongest at that point. i dont think gokou was thinking of a comparison between himself and her in a full power kamehameha bout.

i think i need to watch dbgt so i can see what all there is that i dont know. i also think it kinda sucks that she never goes ss. it would be cool to see that, but oh well. i also wonder what the deal is with the kids ive only heard of and seen just a few shots, vegeta jr. and is there a goku jr. also has anyone else see gokou as the spelling. i have a wall scroll that has mystic gohan, piccolo, trunks goten and ss3 gokou above them all. in the bottom is spells the name gokou. anyone else have that scroll? i bought it at a comic shop and that was about 2 years ago. when i got it, the shop owner said he had it for like atleast 3 years before i got it. so its old and may not be for sale any more. dont know.

i wanted to write this after i saw all the talk about the last eps. i sat and watched i think,288. ive got 288-291 on video and in it goku says pans the strongest in the family. i started thinking and thought, yea, she is. she did a lap around the planet. earth is 24,000 miles or so and in the saiyan saga it took goku forever just to run the 10,000 miles of snake way. little pan did the earth in for what i can tell, less than a day. shes deffinatly cool and i want to know if she just turns into a wuss in dbgt or if she keeps on and turns super sayian one day. whats the deal on that? i also know theres a good chance someone might dis like this thread due to the possiblity of an existent pan thread. hence im gonna check right now and if there one there. well... hold on. my god, theres no pan thread till now. i may actually get to see who the pan lovers are. went back three pages in the db area and not one thread. im sure she mentioned some where. but no threads. so... i ask for a bit of slack if you dont like pan.

hey sniper, those were all for the most part named before in this thread. i think at one point this thread got to the point of a mod. mentioning how rare anime is almost hard for most here to think of. (not entirely of course, this is in general) i also want to know where the best place to get these animes are. does anyone know of a web site that is just packed with anime. rare for that matter.
