as mature as i would want to think of myself; i know that anime is for kids and teen agers, maybe some young adults but most wasnt designed with the adult in mind. of course, i do know of a lot of "adult animes" so its kind of wrong for me to say that. oh well.

dude, i would try my darndest to watch all of akira all the way through. alot of people i know didnt like it too much at first, but after more time and one good viewing, youll be lovin it. havent seen the blood lust flick; so i woulnt say if or which is better, so... have fun watching one of the longest animes i can think of.

i think that evolution exist, but only to an extent of what we take it as. i dont think that one animal became a totally different one, but it do believe that the difference between 2 different, say... , sharks; could be acredited to evolution. i also have a bit of support for this in that, evolution is still only a theory and in that theory there are still gaps that cannot be accounted for. i think a question asking about our views on darwins publishings would have been more along the lines of biology. and believe it or not its not fact. the theories of survival of the fittest and natural selection have great support, but, the scientific community cannot prove it to be fact or law, this is the exact reason you will only see it refered to as the "theory of evolution" in any scientific publication.

i dont know about most of what you said because i am new. i can, however, mention that i am personally disgusted at the idea of a yoai section. that is the word for h-manga that is gay, right. if im wrong about that and yoai is something else then i wouldnt stand behind the above statement. but, if it is, i say that is no good; i also think that if trans nerve left, things would be a good bit duller and just not as nice.

i saw goku all the way. freeza running at the same power as goku was loossing power and not staying at the same level. goku could take the abuse and stay at the same level because he had more to replace it with. freeza would get hit and that power would be gone for good. goku would get hit and the power would be reduced but he still had the endurance power to replace it with. freeza was just plain sad in not seeing how outclassed he was.

ya know there was once a movie where the plot was about humans moving from one planet to another with the technology to dump large quantities of chemicals and other naturals items (sea weed) and create an atmosphere. well one day they go to a new planet to find a race of aliens, all killed by our changing the atmosphere. its not an anime but it is an interesting thought. i also want to mention a rare anime, as to stay close to topic. im not sure if this would be all to rare or not but i loved the movie apple seed. it should be in video stores, everyone i know that watches anime has seen it but i hadnt seen it mentioned here.

i would like to say that james stated an opinion that would be an excellent one to leave on. i also propose that on the same note, i have long wondered what these boards would look like if a thread was on the palestinian situation. we could continue in this thread with that subject; or we could start something new, or flat out leave it alone. just wondered what everyone thought?

i hear that, leave it be. but dang man, did anybody see that ep. i've just watched again. with the title along the lines of "toys in the attic" or something. the nasty little monster in the ship (a blob) going around infecting every one. in that fridge, ew. that was some nasty junk. just pure funk.

actually it was much less than that. im an american, ive been watching the news alot. although, it was openly more than any of the other major nations of the world.

i must say that i personally have lost great faith in my alleged friend and neighbors to the north. i can understand being mad about your troops; i would be also. as for the words you used to decribe yourself. well thats just funny cause i dont really ever think ive heard anything like that, none the less said it. (although i love the movie canadian bacon, "i dont know what your talking aboot eh! or "lets stay in and order some canadian food") other wise i dont really joke on canada, ive even visited. self interest, well more than pearl habour i think we got in because after seeing that the war came to us, we realized that if we didnt fight the nazis in europe it would be in the north american continent. but most important here is the fact, i repeat, FACT, that no federal criminal can purchase a gun legally in the u.s., so get your facts straight. also in ww2, believe it or not but we ( the u.s.) made a deal to pay off the german debt to the rest of europe (kind of a loan) because the french were just trying to work a grudge from the franco-prussian war. germany almost didnt end up as nazis until the u.s. economy crumbled in the great depression and the german economy came down with us allowing hitler to rise to power. and if you drop your grudge, you just might see that america does help people out some. ya know, some times i get the impression that people here mis-interpet me. i know america isnt perfect and we've done lousy stuff like everyone else; but we do try to help. we are human too.

what about those people that will hang around or ride their bike or drive by or whatever... out side your house until they catch you leaving or something. or what about that guy who thinks hes always right. or the guy that thinks hes "better" than you. or the girl that isnt pretty but acts like the $hit. yea, all of those people are annoying to me. and any kind of band wagon rider.

based on the way the enemy looks; i would give it to dabura, then janenba in his second form. as for a track record. freeza would with out a doubt be the scariest. plus hes just down right rude.

what i think is cool is that, litterally, i found out they were making this movie along time ago; atleast 3 or 4 years ago. no one believed me when i mentioned it and now ive had the last laugh. ha ha ha. so the movies good... now i just have to go check it out.

hey, i dont recall saying you were anti american. i do recall saying that people who dont appreciate the freedoms they have are foolish. what you call a false sense of patriotism is actually realism. i know that i can say what i want, do what i want (mostly). those are freedoms to me. and for that matter, ones that not everyone have. most of you will never really get what im trying to say because it is greater than what i can type out, but, it is simple enough that if you just think about the people who dont have freedom, you just might start realizing what you have.

i would also say that anything we could come up with will still be out classed as long as we have planes, tanks and helicopters as powerful as they are at the moment. also on the power source thing. maybe a nuclear reactor, like a nuclear sub. still be hard as heck though.

hey, anime isnt a fad now or ever. it has to be popular to be a fad; or you have to be into it just for a band wagon of some sort. anime is still a small thing and it aways will be. adult of my age and older rarely use their imagination, none the less, watch cartoons. if its a fad, thats only to you. also.... no matter who you are, you dont know everything about anime. oh yea, i think that if you replaced the word fad with something meaning a cult like following, you would find lots of this stuff to be not only true, but unnessicary.

jamvis is (im assuming) younger than most here and he still has one of the most important points. america helps far more people than nessacary and we're still never happy with the world condition. further more i am amazed that anyone who can read these boards (meaning you have a computer) would think america is a bad country. (over powering super nation) you all need to have your freedoms stipped just so you can realize what you really have. if your still not happy with what i have said, oh say, you live in europe; you should be thanking americans. better an american super power than a german one. and if you want all americans out of france, lets start with the graves.
