#17 - Law of Transient Romantic Unreliability-- Min-mei is a bimbo. (Amen.)
Amen indeed. I had a friend who tried to hand this in for a physics assignment once, too bad the teacher just threw it back at him. But it kinda makes you think that only an Anime junkie would have had the time and boredom to think this up...

I really have no clue why or how this idea for an RP popped into my head, but I knew if I didn't put it down soon it would tie me to a chair and run rampant in the streets... -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- "The Wake" "Seymour Aikens Walker the Third was a man of his word, a man of pride, a man of value, and a man that we shall all dearly miss" This is probably what should have been spoken at Walker's funeral, if any of it was true. Fact is, Seymour Aikens Walker the third was a miserly, angry old grouch of a codger who would as soon run you down with one of his several Lincons rather than look at you. Yep, Walker was LOADED, Nobody really knows why though. Some people like to think that he owned oil somewhere out west, Others think that he was the head of an underground black market orginazation, and a few thought that he might have gained his fortune from blackmail. But in the end it's all speculation. Anyways, the old geezer never did leave his mansion, which was tucked away in a small secluded corner of the country. But just because he kept away himself, doesn't mean that people didn't know who he was. Walker was notorious for his outrageous spending. He'd always do crazy things like paying Stephen King to read him bedtime stories or renting out four or five football teams to act out playoffs just for his own enjoyment, Hell, Walker could buy every single playboy bunny and that dumb smoking Jacket off of Hugh Heffner. It was all for the attention. But now, instead of sucking the silver spoon of power, Mr. Seymour Aikens Walker the third at the ripe old age of ninety-two is sucking on the big old dirt pile. This would be fine and well among those who knew him but get this, he never wrote a WILL! Those who were fortunate enough to receive news of his departure also received invitations to this "wake". Those invited were never really close to Walker, but really wanted his money, and now they have their chance. They Have all been asked to spend a week in his spacious mansion and seek out his fortune...The first to find it, keeps it, and becomes the new Seymour Aikens Walker. Well you have your invitation, what are you waiting for? -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- And that was my beast. This may look and sound like a game, but it's really just an Rp where crazy characters can scramble about a Mansion looking for their fortune. The signups are as follows, if too many people sign up for this I may have to pick and choose who gets in, I left the world wide open for your characters, try to be creative, and just remember to have fun with it! Name: Your Character's name Age: Any Age you want! Gender: um, you have two choices... Appearance: Try to be a bit descriptive on this if you don't plan on entering a picture, I'm not going to ask you to write a novel for a description, but just make sure everyone has a good idea what your character will look like. Background: How did he/she grow up? What's his/her favorite food? What does he/she do when they're bored? Why do they want all that damn money? Put anything here that you want to tell about your character. Association: How did your character know Seymour Aikens Walker the Third? And that's it! Happy Rping amigos! see you in the future!

I'm going to be shipping myself off to college this friday, then my classes start the monday after... Yep, just a freshman at Mohawk Valley Community College. The thing that sucks about it though is just all the preperation, I see that many of you are now seniors and are going to be getting ready for college and everything. My advice, either get everything done early or don't go at all. Seriously, I think I'm going to die before I even get there. But I'm sure it will all be worth it in the end, My major is Illustration, so I get to draw all day (hurrah!) and I have no classes on fridays either (hurrah again!). But I hope everyone has a great school year nonetheless.

Name: Eliza Lynn Winterfrost Age: 24 Gender: Female Country From: England Race: English (caucasian) Personality: At first Eliza comes off as a spoiled brat, but she has true and noble Values along with the "princess" facade. She can be your best friend or your worst nightmare, and once an acuataince is established she can have a variety of fellings about one person....Let's just say it's best not to trust her with any personal secrets... Sweet and endearing, Bitchy and cruel, it all depends on how Eliza veiws you as a person, or how she's feeling that day of course... Apart from her radical mood swings she does have The natural pleasant grace that is expected from a delicate young english woman. She can turn this on and off on a whim, usualy in situations where she's aiming to gain something or to proove superiority. Apperance: Eliza is an abnormaly fair person, at first glance you would presume that she was sick as she looks deathly pale (or very powdered down, assume it's the latter of the two). Her hair is a very fine ash black cut in a modernly chic bob high above the collar. The only natural color her body displays is the deep pools of her Azure blue eyes, crisp and alert, rarely dull. Eliza stands at a five feet seven inches with a thin wiry frame (A lady never reveals her weight) and nothing to speak of in the chest department. Her Favorite attire is a variety of black pantsuits and white undershirts without the tie. Her casual clothing consists of dress slacks with loose-fitting ruffled shirts (suspenders too!). Bio: Eliza Was born into the house of Winterfrost, a noble and well recognised family in england, closely tied to the royal family. Eliza's father Sir Walter Winterfrost, is the last Surviving Male in Their family bloodline. The Winterfrost family bloodline was traced back through centuries to knights and assasins who provided their services to the Royal family, even to this day. When Sir Winterfrost did not receive a son, he began training his only child, the five year old Eliza in the Tradition her family was so well known for. At eight years old instead of having tea parties, she mastered three types of unarmed combat. At fourteen she had acuired a deadly precision with four types of blades. The day she turned sixteen, Eliza received her first gun, becoming an excelent shot within months. By the time She was nineteen years old, the royal guard, Brittish intellegence and the united states government were hounding her for her refined tactics in combat and stealth, before she even left college. Eliza however, had other things in mind... One evening Eliza returned home to her father from College unnanounced, killing him in cold blood. None know her intentions really, but some beleive that she was retaliating against the ways she had been brought up, Eliza only wanted a normal life, and her father couldn't even permit her that. After she became a wanted person, she fled to the united states, where she could possibly live out her life in peace. But The imposed feeling of bloodlust wasn't something that could pass with time. Eliza began killing other assasins for sport whenever the urge took hold of her, landing her in a very precarrious position, in George's custody. Eliza had killed a very important man on George's team, but instead of being furrious, George was pleased. He took the English flower under his wing and made her an offer, he would spare her life if she chose to work for him, and only him. Eliza accepted enthusiasticaly, and became one of George's top assasins. When Eliza failed the Mission, she was not only angry with herself, but with George as well. It wasn't as if she could kill for anyone else, George would know, and then her neck would be on the line. After she was fired Eliza took up a homebody life, dipping into the family funds to purchase herself a large isolated Mansion in Maine to lie low for the rest of her days. This plan However, was not on George's agenda. His Men found her and chased her down south, where she was faced with a solution. Well, there was only one solution, Kill George or be killed.... Abilities: Eliza prefers the art of persuasion, wether it be batting a defenseless eyelash, or pressing a pistol to a man's temple, she may not be the best, but it's something she enjoys and takes great pride in. Her Unarmed skills are phenominal and shown that Eliza is more dangerous at close range rather than farther away with a gun persay. Weapons: A three-hundred fold Katana blade with an Ebony hilt and Rosewood (purple) lacured sheath "Kage-Hi", A small Calibur Pistol, And a spring knife contraption up the sleeve. Well that took me forever and a day to write out....*dies* Great Rp idea! Later!

Oh boy! Crazy people! -------------------------------- Name: Morgan ??? (she changed it to something completely unintelligible) Gender: Female Age: 26 Description: Morgan holds the physique of a teenage boy, long gangly limbs, taught muscles and a chest that could be used as a table. She sports a mop a choppy red hair that she insists on cuting herself. Her face is long and feminine, pretty if she'd wear makeup (but makeup is the government's way of tracking her). Her wardrobe can consist of anything found at the local thrift store, including a yellow plastic poncho covered in holes (that oddly look like they were made with bullets) Bio: Nobody really knows where Morgan came from, nobody knows how long she's been at Apartment building C, and No one knows when she'll leave either, but they all avoid touching her that's for sure. Morgan is one of the many Americans nowadays that belive that the Government is watching them. She changed her last name to a series of unpronouncable symbols (she beleives this keeps them off her trail). Why Move in?: Morgan needs to lay low for a while, She thinks the Cabinet's after her and that Bush wants her head on his Desk. Idiosyncrasies: As stated before, Morgan thinks the Government is after her. She'll spend several days hiding in her apartment and several days out of it. She wont accept her mail or gifts and finds rather amusing ways of disposing of them. Most people she won't trust untill they have successfully passed her "tests". She likes to wear tinfoil on her head too you see (keeps the mind controll rays out).

Manga What new manga/manwha are you reading now?
Angelus_Necare replied to Monkey_Orange's topic in Otaku Central
Well, I took a trip to the Barnes and Noble yesterday for some fresh Manga and picked up: Eeriee Queerie (vol.2) Fruits basket (vol. 3) DNAngel (vol.1) Tsubasa (vol.1) It's completely ridiculous at the fact that I can't bring myself to continue buying the FAKE series (I only own Volume 4) Because I read volume 7 in my school's library (don't ask me why it was there, I have no clue either). But I did find DNAngel and Tsubasa a fresh change in my usual manga habits. DNAngel took some getting used to since I'm usualy reading up on the latest Shounen-ai manga. But there's a little to be found, not much though. Tsubasa though I fell in love with! I love how CLAMP reinvented their characters for this book, and it was a lot of fun trying to place the characters to their respective titles (it was hard for me and I'm a CLAMP junkie). Can't wait for Volume two, CAN'T WAIT. And as usual, I continued my Love affair with Fruits basket. I don't think I want to trust Shigure anymore hehe. by:karmaofchaos
Wish: Quite honestly, this manga was disappointing. While the artwork remained beautiful (as CLAMP has a reputation for), the plot line seemed like some one's rough draft or outline of a plot, rather than something finished and complete. The ending seemed rushed, and there were various 'plot holes' most of which were only half-resolved, or completely unresolved and left the reader quite confused.
I agree with you there, I think the space in Kohaku's head equaly sized up to the plot holes in that story. And the way they led on to the "big surprise" left a lot of us dissapointed. Didn't stop me from buying the four volumes of it, oh well.... -
Harru followed closely behind Karen now as they both darted arund trees due east. After ten minutes of running Karen stopped suddenly at the edge of a large hole leaving Harru to bump into her nearly sending her into the holer herself. "That's a far way down" Harru noted making sure Karen was a safe way back from the edge. "Yes, and they've dug themselves..." Karen refered to the wand taking about a dozen steps to the left and stpping, "Here." "so they're right under us?" Harru asked still looking down into the hole. "if the spell worked right, yeah" Karen looked about for a solution as to how they were going to get Hermione and Remus out of the ground. Harru walked up to a large dead tree and examined a Long, loose and nearly rotting limb, He carefully pulled it free from tree and dragged it back to the edge of the hole. "Harru we can't climb down on that, look at it" Karen said pocketing her wand and watching the white haired boy. "Just watch" Harru placed the limb into the hole, just a short part of it sticking out of the ground. He then pulled his wand from his pocket and pointed it at the branch, "Laetreas" The old branch groaned and morphed as it bent itself into a nearly new looking wooden ladder. Harru sighed with releif as Karen looked awed at his skill. "How did you do that?" She asked inspecting the new transformed limb. "Just glanced at it in that spellbook I was reading..." He shrugged with a small smile. Harru looked up to see that Karen was smiling too, it was strange, that they could share a moment like this under the circumstances they were in. Without any more waste of time, the two began to descend the Ladder calling for Hermione and Remus.

(Simple spells for dummies, ROFL) ------------------------------ Harru's Stomach gave a lurch when he saw Karen rush through the doors of the library looking slightly panicked. After his confrontation with Ron and Harry, Harru thought it best not to be alone in the common room, what if Voldemort took over again to mutilate His own body? Then again there was a risk by putting everyone else in danger, but if he did, he wouldn't get away with it. After what happened to Karen, being expleled and spending the rest of his life in Azkaban didn't seem so bad. So he had settled himself in the far corner of the library at a table with a clear veiw of the entire room. A thick book of transfiguration spells hid his face from anyone that glanced in his dirrection, he hoped the same would be true for Karen. She swept past his table several times, his eyes constantly on her. She eventualy found a spellbook and was halfway past his table when she stopped and looked down at him. "Harru" She asked, clutching her book to her chest, "What are you doing here?" Harru didn't have a good answer, and it wasn't like he was going to tell her he was hiding from her or anything. "Studying...." He muttered, so much for telling the truth. Karen shifted her weight from one foot to the other as she looked at him, Harru met her gaze and found only worry, well why wouldn't she be? He's tested her mental foundation all day, He sighed still looking at her "What's wrong?" "Harru, Hermione and Remus are still in the forest" Harru had forgotten completely, and it seemed like ages ago that he saw those two wander off. "you know where they are?" Harru began to rise from his seat. "I will more or less" Karen hesitated and looked into Harru's Jade gaze again, Something told her not to trust him in her head, but her heart was stronger, "Can you help me find them?" Harru was taken aback, he expected Karen to never speak to him again much less wander back into a place where he recently tried to kill her. Yet she seemed sincere. "Yes, I'll help you." And with that the two swept out of the castle, and back to the forbidden forest.

ah! nice to be posting again! ------------------------------------------------- Harru stood and watched harry for what seemed like a century. Both of them were afraid to move because both knew what the other was capapble of. Harry's hand hovered near his pocket where his wand was hidden, Harru had only wished that ron had taken a shot at him perhaps causing some real damage, any pain was better than what he felt now. After a long silence Harry spoke, "what did you do with my friends voldemort?" he said quietly, and for the first time the realization of what he was stung deep within himself. Suddenly Haru felt like tearing Potter limb from limb, not because of what voldemort programed him to feel, but because Harry could say something like that without knowing how it felt. "y-you don't know...." Harru sputtered through clenched teeth choking back his tears. "know what?" Harry asked taking a step back. "...what it's like to be haunted" he glared at Harry through his mop of white hair. "what does that make you then?" Harry wouldn't back down to this, yet the boy's story seemed credible. "A puppet" "do you want me dead?" Harry's scar began to burn, he felt as if his head was splitting in two. "I don't have a choice, do I?" Harru spoke eerily, donning a small grin on his face, this game of cat-and-mouse was quite fun. "help me then" "what?" "help me fight him off, I'm sure you want to be free" Harry pleaded, moving a hand to his searing scar. "Why should I help you when nobody's willing to help me?" Neither of them spoke untill Ron came ambling down the stairs. "what are you still doing here?" Ron demanded with a scowl, reaching into his pocket and drawing his tattered wand again. "go ahead!" Harru shouted at him with a new rage his voice echoed in the empty corridor, "You'd be doing me a favor!" "you're asking for it!" Ron pointed his wand at Harru's chest, "flip-" "Ron Don't!" Harry stopped him and snatched his wand away from him, "Don't waste your energy with puppets" "Mark me Potter" Harru spoke, "that your day will come, he's relentless, you, nor him, nor Karen will be safe for much longer." They all stood quietly, Harru lifted his head for one last time, "I'm sorry". And with that he swept down into the Slytherin corridor. "What a nutter" Muttered Ron stuffing his wand back into his pocket. "I think he's more than a nutter Ron" "yeah.....did he.....Appologise?" Harry shrugged, looking as confused as Ron. They both gave one long look torwards the slytherin corridor and made their leave to their classes. ---------------------------------- I think that should be a sufficient post, the angst and drama and psychotic personalities ensue....
-
Harru trudged along wearily, carefully taking his time to push thorny branches from his face. He clutched his side in pain, it seemed that Karen had used one of her powerfull swings while she was struggling with him before. "karen....." he thought saddly walking a bit slower, "I hope you got out of the forest alright" he trudged on out of the forest a bit longer before he could see a faint outline of someone in his path, the person was sprawled out, face down, and appeared to be crying. Karen.... Harru walked up slowly and stooped to touch her shoulder gently, she whimpered fearfully and tried to move away from him. She couldn't even see who he was, yet she knew it was him. With a sigh Harru rolled her over and looked down into her tear streaked eyes. "Why?" she whimpered softly looking up at him, Harru couldn"t give her an answer, but he wished for the world that he could. Instead of answering her he scooped her up into his arms and carried her the rest of the way into the castle, Karen didn't fight, for now she felt copmfort in his arms, he had changed back, the danger was gone. Once inside Harru climbed the great stairs and ran into a worrysome ron. When Ron saw the condition Karen was in his eyes grew wide and furious. "What did you do to her you rotten slytherin?!" He screamed pulling Karen from his arms then pointing his wand at Harru, "You dirty snake! I should kill you right here!" Harru only placed his hands in the air in defeat, he wasn't going to fight anyone. ------------------------- sorry if that's short, but I've got to get back to work.
-
I'm sorry that it's taking me so long to post! Let's put some life back into this RP! ---------------------------------------------------- Karen felt several shudders run up and down her spine, she began to walk out of the clearing. "harru, let's-" She stopped realizing that Harru had a firm grip on her hand, and wasn't letting go, his eyes seemed dark and unfamiliar. "Stop it Harru you're scaring me." Still no response, he cracked a smile, then pulled Karen close to hold her still. "Dark Lord!" He called into the forest, the sounds of birds taking flight in fear errupted above them, "I have brought what you wanted! Come into me my master!" Karen couldn't even shout out in response, she was terrified, but more so hurt. How could Harru do something like this to her? Why was it that whenever she trusted someone, terrible things happen? The clearing grew cold, karen could see her and harru's breath in the dim light. "Very well my heir" a soft eerie voice hissed, Karen's eyes darted about wildly to see where the voice came from, untill she realized that it came from Harru's mouth. She fought to get away, but the frail young boy had become much stronger as he held her close. Eventualy the hurt inside of her won as she cried against the fake Harru's chest in defeat. "There, there" he spoke again in mock sympathy, "the boy you call Harru is perfectly safe, I can't say the same for you however..." "h-how could you?" Karen choked between sobs, but the dark lord didn't answer. Karen looked up into his eyes and saw something familiar. "Harru?" "Karen..." He flinched threw her down and clutched his head, "Noooooooo!" The hissing voice screamed, then, "Karen Run!!! Run Away!" And run she did, she didn't take any chances to see if the hunched form on the ground was alright. As her hastened footsteps faded into the forest a voice screamed at Harru. "Fool! we almost had her!!!" Harru grinned, his face still against the ground, "you almost had her." "you plotted this, I know somehow..." "Of course i did, do you think I would do something like that to know who I really am?" He began to get to his feet. Laughter errupted through the forest, "clever, much like myself, and ruthless too. Away from my forest heir, I tire of your company." With another glare into the clearing, Harru followed Karen's path.
-
Harru grasped Karen's hand tightly as they headed down the school's steps. This was no coincidence, she was meant to stumble nito him alone, he was meant to take her into the forest, everything was falling into place. That previous evening, Harru groaned through his sleep, trying to avoid the entity within him. After hearing enough, Draco kicked him out of the room on the pretenses of Harru disturbing his "beauty" sleep. Harru spent the rest of the evening rocking nervously on one of the velvet green couches untill the first rays of the sun peeked into the common room. Harru had stumbled about sleepily all mornign untill he had run into Karen. Now it was easy as long as she decided to follow him, soon it would all be over with. "in there?" Karen asked nervously, she peeked around from Harru as if he were a barrier for the evil that seemed to leak from the depths of the forest. Harru turned to her looking down through heavy lidded sleep-deprived eyes, "This is where I saw them" He said tonelessly, his personality was now slowly slippng away into a dark and empty place. "Maybe we should get the others first" Karen said defiantly. "We can't!" Harru hissed at her, whipping around violently. When he noticed that he was begining to frighten Karen he mustered one of his meek smiles, "it could be to late for them" "but-" She began but was cut off when Harru grasped her hand and drew her close into an embrace. "nothing will happen to you, not while you're with me, I promise" He felt like screaming inside, he only wished she would be safe, that this part of him would never take advantage of her again. But it wasn't true. "I trust you" Karen spoke softly. that was the twist of the knife on Harru's conscience. "alright" He turned from her to wipe away the anguished tears before they headed into the mist and danger ahead. --------------------------------------- *gasp* such angst! I'm surprised I can write like this before passing out from this fever of mine.

I guess I'm one to beleive that beauty cannot be seen right away, but it appears as you get to know a person... let me elaborate. If I see a six foot tanned blonde haired blue eyed guy who's absolutely gorgeous, I'd think so on first sight. But then if you learned that he's an arrogant jerk who likes to work out and name his muscles all day then he would be an ugly person to me. I've watched people come and go, and really, beauty is not one of my fascinations with them, I suppose it's all what lies in their hearts and minds that makes a person beautifull or ugly. and just for the record, most people here on the OB are beautifull people =^_^=

Manga What new manga/manwha are you reading now?
Angelus_Necare replied to Monkey_Orange's topic in Otaku Central
I agree about the Viz shipment dates, they're about as bad as darkhorse. I mean, it doesn't take fourth months to read a Hellsing manga! well the real reason I'm writting is not to complain about other manga companies but about the new release of RAVE Master. Has anyone read it yet? Or does anyone know about it? I thought about buying it, but, I guess I'd like an oppinion first before I get myself into a manga that doesn't really intrest me. -
Harru grimaced slightly at the scene before him, there were too many people around for him to be comfortable talking to karen. "maybe I'll come back later" he murmured quietly to himself, turning torwards the door, he thought he was free untill... "Harru?" He stopped dead in his tracks, then looked back at karen sullenly, her gaze was warm and welcoming, but the others only glared forignly, as if he were beneith them all. With a slight sigh he stepped into the light, and moved slowly torwards the bed. "Harru, I didn't know you were here." Karen said with a air of wonderment and releif, Harru smiled gently at her, and for a moment, they seemed alone again. "Harru, you mean he's the one who brought you here?" Ron spoke, cutting into their daydream and placing himself firmly between the two. He stood tall, almost as if he were sizing Harru up, he couldn't explain why, but this white haired boy seemed a threat. Harru watched Ron carefully, a new sense of loathing and unredeemable negative power seemed to well up in him. How dare this riff-raff involve himself?! He knew nothing, and knowing nothing he had no right to come between Harru and his prize. Prize? Harru shook his head lightly freeing himself from these thoughts, he suddenly felt sick, he shouldn't even have been here. Looking up slowly at Ron, he uttered the excuse, "I came to say goodnight" then swept from the room as quickly and as quietly as a graveyard shadow. ----------------------- Blah, that was short and pointless....

Manga What new manga/manwha are you reading now?
Angelus_Necare replied to Monkey_Orange's topic in Otaku Central
wow, and I thought I was obsessed. I see that a lot of people read FAKE and I mentioned in an earlier post that I would check it out. Well on a recent trip to borders (where I blew about fourty bucks!) I picked up the first volume and LOVED it! I also picked up the following: fruits basket vol 1 Digimon 01 vol 1 & 2 FAKE vol 1 well, it's a start. as far as watching animes with their manga counterparts, I do watch the anime, just to see how they do it wether I read it first or not. I suppose a good example of this would be King of bandit Jing, I watched a good eight episodes of the series before I bought the manga. It may have given up some spoilers, but with some animes, the plot is completely different from the manga, wich gives it a pretty good change as I see it. and I also didn't know that there was a FAKE OVA series, if there really is, I think that shall be my next purchase *cough*yippie!*cough*. -
What do you do when you're at home sick?
Angelus_Necare replied to Panda's topic in General Discussion
I can't manage videogames while I'm sick either. well I suppose it's how sick I get, sometimes I can just lay on the couch with a glazed look in the general dirrection of the television with the slightest hint of life. but when I'm not two steps from dead I'll chat with other sick people online and we'll try to figure out who's the sickest (you all do it, admit it), and then sleep dominates the majority of my home time. And sleep really is the best, I mean, you have the best dreams when you're ill, they may not be the prettyest but for me they're ultimately brilliant and they have credits at the end! um, I suppose that's all I do when I'm home sick, other than visit the OB, like we all do ;). -
well our school just finished its yearly musical production of Grease. *looks pleased in her nifty Grease cast tee-shirt.* nobody thought we were going to do it but we did, I only played as a student, but it was well worth it, now I regret not joining musicals and plays sooner, I'm told I'm quite an actress and singer, but I took the artist's path, alas! just recently I tried out for "who am I this time" just as a lowly character, but they kept asking me to read the part for the lead, Helene, sheesh, why does this occur to me as I'm just leaving highschool. ah well. Has any other school performed grease besides mine?

OOC: ok, here's something. ------------------------------------------------ Harru groaned as he untangled a gnarly twig from his robe for the umpteenth time since he had entered the forest, why or how he was doing this was beyond his understanding. A crescent silver moon peeked through the web of branches above, giing little to no light on the forest floor below. All around was dead silent, the hoot of an owl or the croak of a frog didn't exist in this place, and that was too bad, because harru was getting a bit nervous, listening to the ragged sound of his own panicked breathing and the shuffling of feet through foliage. Turning back would have been a treat, but even if he had known wich way to go, the pull this entity had on him was far too strong to resist. Soon he found himself in a small, dank clearing, dimly lit by the moon above. This is where Harru felt the darkness that had crept in his mind all day. He was about to meet his master. "where are you?" He spoke softly, still startled by the sound his voice made in the silence. a light breeze filtered through the forest, making the sounds of the leaves and trees come alive all around him. "Right here my puppet" Spoke a raspy voice off to his left. Harru had jerked his head in the dirrection, but all he could see was darkness. "Come out where I can see you." He said, his failed atempt at authority sounding meek. a sickly chuckle errupted now from his right side, "You couldn't see me ifyou tried, boy." "Show Me!!!" Harru shouted drawing his wand, a seven inch ashwood with a sun dragon's heartstring for a core. "Fool!!!" The voice shouted back at him, "You think you can challange me! I made you what you were! Without me, you wouldn't even exist!" Harru lowered his wand slowly, not only in fear, but in currosity, "what do you mean, 'I wouldn't exist without you'?" The sickly laugh began again, "that is something that could be gained.......as a reward." "I'm not playing any games" "neither am I, now listen." The voice grew quiet, "I will tell you whatever you desire, grant you the greatest power give you what your deepest desires can muster." There was a pause. "the catch?" Harru asked, feeling ashamed deep down for even considering. "The catch" the voice contimued, growing even more distant, "is her." A vision of a ghostly Karen appeared before Harru, she was smiling at him, her mouth was mooving, but he couldn't hear what she was saying. Mesmorized by this vision of his friend, Harru put his wand away, taking a step closer. "What is you want me to do." "Bring this girl, here, I can make her yours, all you need to do is bring her here." "yes." harru spoke quietly, almost as quietly and raspily as the voice addressing him. "good" The voice answered, dissapearing along with Karen's vision. Harru couldn't explain how, but the next moment he found himself in the corridor leading to the infirmary. It wasn't untill he had his hand resting on the doornob to the hospital wing that it had dawned on him to what he was doing. "No!" He hissed throwing himself against the opposite wall, "why would I trust that voice? And Karen's sick, she's not leaving." "he could make her better" his own voice answered back, "and she would be gratefull to you forever..." Harru paused, looking at the door, and listening to the excited chatter of voices inside. Was his self discovery, the knowlege of what controlled him that strong of an issue that he had to know? That he would endanger the life of a dear friend for his own selfish needs? "Maybe that's why I'm in slytherin." He thought dryly with an amused snort, "only thinking about myself" Harru shrugged lightly, then walked into the infirmary quietly.

OOC: hey it's been a while since I've written anything for this RPG, and I'll explain why. I've been accessing the OB through my school's computers since my own comp at home broke down. The school computer advisor (whatever he is) came to me about a week ago and said that accessing message boards were illegal at school. so now the site's blocked, and I'm only able to post on weekends! This severely cuts into my posting time, I hope you understand. I'd add a bit right now but I'm using the computer at work, and I'm strapped for time. I'll edit this later into an entry, sorry guys!

It seems as if they purposfully changed Orca's name to Ouka, to sound a bit more how the orriginal manga had it spelled or how it was supposed to sound. The reina thing actualy may just be the result of a typo, as you said.

Hope you guys like fluff ----------------------------------------------------- Harru took her hand away from his face gently, his fingers were unusualy cold. Madam Pomfrey had slipped away to tend to another student without them knowing, leaving them alone. "you should rest a bit more" Said Harru, "you don't want to strain yourself any furthur" Karen shifted back to lay down again, her hand still in Harru's, "I'm sorry I hit you, I-" "...didn't know" Harru finished for her, he reached to touch his swollen face tenderly, "but I have to say, you have a pretty good swing Miss black" Karen pulled The sheet up tp her blushing face, trynig not to look too embarassed, she was however completely surprised to meet someone like Harru. "He's so kind and gentle, not like the other slytherins, but his eyes are so sad. Why.... Why do I feel like there's something he's hiding from me?" Karen thought, watching Harru as he looked down at his hands. "She's so nice, and understanding, I've never met anything like her, but her eyes are filled with hurt. Why do I feel like she's hiding something from me?' Harru looked up from his hands meeting Karen's eyes. "There's something I want to ask you" They both spoke out at the same time, Karen laughed lightly, "oh you first Harru" "It's nothing...." Harru trailed off with a small smile, He then stood and smoothed out his long black robes. "I think you really should get some rest karen" He spoke walking to the side of her bed then taking her hand, "Goodnight Milady" Harru kissed her hand gently, with an imposed grace that he had been tauight since he was young. He then gave her one last smile then swept quietly out of the infirmary like shadow into the night. Once back to the great hallway, Harru stopped and leaned against the wall, clutching his chest painfully, the evil was pushing to be free again. He began to weep. "I can't be around people I care about anymore. It's too hard to keep them safe." He swiped his tears away furriously then glancing at the grand oak doors to the outside, "I must find this entity that's calling to me, I must finish this." With a renewed stance, Harru stepped out of the castle, and began his march torwards the forest.
