I was actually coming in here to point that out. EDIT: NEVERMIND LOL
2. Currently slowly making my way through Nightlife by Rob Thurman. It sort of reminds me of The Dresden Files, only the main character is a bit younger. And a half LOLSPOILERsortof. And maaaaybe not quite as entertaining, but it's...okay so far (hence the slowly bit).
3. Started to post some RP stuff. Then I realized that I've yet to name stuff. This is going to take awhile, especially since said names have to be Japanese @_@

4. What's really fun is when a dragon attacks and you use a Shout on it, and a chicken gets caught in the crossfire. Now the very people you're trying to save are trying to kill you as a dragon kills them. All over a chicken.
Zelda taught me never, ever to mess with chickens.
Also this.
5. Toying with RP stuff. Not a good thing to do when tired and distracted. I should stop @_@

1. Boo

Boo

Noooo, moar RP.

6. I've mostly been playing Tales of Graces f. I'm close to halfway through the game now, and...well, it's pretty much the basic Tales fanfare, aside from the new battle system, which unlike the previous games, don't use TP- ToG uses CC, which...isn't really explained all that well in game (nor are any of themechanics themselves). It splits artes into two different attack styles- A and B artes. A artes, or Assault artes, are the physical artes. You use them simply by comboing your enemies with normal attacks and pressing the left thumbstick at the right moment, and they are automatically set in the A Artes tree- you get no control over them aside from when you use them in battle. B artes, or Burst artes, are the usual special attacks (Demon Fang, spells, etc.) and are pretty much the same as in other Tales games- you set them to a certain slot and activate them by pressing Circle and the left thumbstick in a particular direction. CC also makes comboing easier- while you can't just spam attacks, you don't have an awkward pause in between artes anymore, unless you switch between A Artes and B artes during battle. The only thing I dislike about CC is that using Free Run drains CC as well .-. I haven't found a character that I particularly hate yet, which is new for a Tales game. Not saying that I neccesarily like all of them, either. The voice acting is pretty solid, too, save for maaaaybe David Vincent as Richard- he's good, but some of his lines sound so monotonous they lose their impact. Annnd I'm going to stop my little mini-review here >>;;
7. I keep trying to finish Oblivion before Skyrim comes out, but every time I turn my computer on, I end up playing Fallout. Playing that game with an intelligence of 1 isn't easy, by the way. Also, I picked up The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening today. I played it and died within two minutes of starting. I'll get to that sword eventually.
8. I got a 360 the other day, and picked up Tales of Vesperia, Blue Dragon, and Mass Effect with it. I'm wondering why in the world I keep playing Blue Dragon even though it has one of the lamest stories with some of the lamest characters(the main characters are sixteen? The way they act, I'd have thought they were ten) that I've ever seen. Mass Effect...I really want to keep playing it. I really do. Thing is, I'd heard it plays like Dragon Age. This was a lie. The only thing Dragon Age-esque about it is the dialogue. The rest is pure shooter, which I suck at. I'm going to try to keep going with it, though. Tales of Vesperia is probably the only game out of the three that has yet to disappoint me, minus the fact that I was mercilessly destroyed by the previous boss (some poison wolf thing in a forest) several times before barely managing to beat it and I now have this feeling I need to do some serious grinding. ...and I really am going to finish Pokemon Black one of these days. Really.
9. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion has managed to take over my life yet again, this time in the form of the 5th Anniversary Edition. The $10 off of Skyrim was just too tempting. And I was apparently the only person in town who pre-ordered it for the PC, which made me feel all special and warm and tingly on the inside :3 ....and I'll finish Pokemon Black someday, I swear >> I just need to get my current team leveled up a bit before I get the sixth badge.
10. So guys, did you know that Bin Laden is de- owait.
11. Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition has claimed my soul. I bought the PC version the other day and by some miracle my PC managed to run it. I just started Operation: Anchorage last night and- I'm kind of disappointed with it. It feels more like I'm playing Call of Duty than Fallout 3. But OA aside, it's the same Fallout epicness. The only thing that would make it better is if I had a 360 controller- it's a real playing with a keyboard and mouse @_@ I swear I'll get back to playing Pokemon Black sometime this year >>;
12. Is it a bad thing that I've lost any motivation to play? I don't know why, but now I put Black into my DS, turn it on, play it for about five minutes, then just stop .-. My team is now an anti-Flying team (I'm on my way to the sixth Gym). Granted, I have to get through Chargestone Cave first. AND raise up the new Pokemon I caught in said cave so they can actually fight without getting KOed in one hit. Thankfully I have the Lucky Egg now, so that wont be so bad. Edokun-Samurrot, level 37. Not made of as much death as I'd like it to be, but oh well. Ricola-Gigalith, level 31. Not much work needed for him, although I kind of want to put him back in the PC- he'll be useless against Skyla's Swanna. Junior- Conkeldurr, level 32. Again, not much is needed for him. Giru- Klink, level 25. I probably wont use him again after I get the sixth badge, except maybe to evolve him for Pokedex filling reasons. Zebb- Zebstrika, level 28. I wasn't planning on using him much after this Gym, but since he's evolved, my opinion on that has changed. Tiny- Tynamo, level 27. I just found out he eventually evolves into Elektross. Problem is, I REALLY don't want to wait until he hits level 69 to learn Zap Cannon to use a Thunderstone on him, so he'll probably rot in my PC until after beating [s]Ghetsis[/s] the Elite Four.
13. NES-Not really sure ._. The one I remember playing most was some racing game when I was around four or five years old, so I'll go with that. SNES- That would be Super Mario World. And to this day I've yet to beat it on my own. GBC- Pokemon Yellow, which I've beaten multiple times, subjected to many GameShark related shenanigans, and allowed to sit and gather dust several times. And yet it still works as well as it did when I got it ten years ago....I feel old now ._. PS1- Uh...Bushido Blade? I think I played a demo for Final Fantasy VII back when it first came out, but I wont count it since I'm not even sure it was FFVII N64- Megaman 64. Which then lead to me going out and buying Megaman Legends 2 for the PS1, which then lead to me wondering where the eff Megaman Legends 3 was. PS2- Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy. This game ate my soul during my 4th grade year. Which sucked because I didn't get a memory card for another year ._. Gamecube- Hmm...not counting the in-store demos, I guess that would be Super Smash Brothers: Melee. Which I've only played twice ._. Xbox- Elder Scrolls: Morrowind. I got an Xbox around the time the PS3/360 came out, and my friend wouldn't shut up about Oblivion, so I grabbed this. I don't think I ever did any of the main story stuff >> GBA- Pokemon LeafGreen, which I never got to beat because it was either stolen or simply mixed up with my friend's games. I dunno. PS3- Elder Scrolls: Oblivion. This game...dear lord, this GAME. Do I REALLY have to say anything?
14.
(And also, WTF Fallout, I need to finish Tales of the Abyss!)
No you don't. Fallout shall continue to make sure of that by consuming you soul â?¼_â?¼ Anyway, aside from playing Pokemon Black, I also picked up Dragon Quest IX and Megaman Zero Collection. MMZ is alright, but DQIX...I dunno. I just can't get into it. It doesn't feel...Dragon Questy ._. Oh, and I found a copy of Kingdom Hearts 2 ($5.95 at McKay's as compared to GameStop's $19.99. 'Nuff said) to play while my DS recharges from my constant [s]slave driving[/s] playing.
15. Pokemon Black has been eating my life all week @_@ My only issue is that I'm constantly having to grind. I don't know if it's just me being made of fail or what, but it seems like B/W is a lot harder than other games. SO. My current party (I constantly change it depending on what type the next Gym leader uses, currently made to battle Elesa)- Edokun- Dewott, Female. I originally started off with Snivy, but then I found out all of my friends started with Snivy or Tepig. Something similar to this happened with HG/SS, too, and as a result I STILL don't have a Totodile -3- Balbaroy- Tranquill, Male. Named after a character of the same name from Shining Force, and is also my strongest Pokemon, possibly due to not having an insanely low Defense like all the others. Zenzen- Darumaka, Male. I'm...not too sure how I came up with it's name, but it stuck. Ricola- Gigalith, Male. Named because the first thing to come to mind when I first saw it was 'Ricola'. Possibly due to the name. And since I'm on the subject of Rock Pokemon, when did Electric moves start damaging Rock types? [s]Not a word about Ash's first Gym battle B([/s] Irwin- Krokorok, Male. So named because...well, it's a crocodile. Irwin. Make the connection. Molley- Drillbur, Female. Going into the PC to rot for eternity for being made of fail. I'm sick of it getting KO'd in one hit.
16. Still playing Persona 4. I got the bad ending, and then decided to start a New Game+ and move up to Normal Mode aka Persona version of hard mode. I also picked Wild Arms 3 back up again after forever, and I'm finally starting to get into the meat of the story...and I'm enjoying the heck out of it. AND. I've been playing Mana Khemia: Alchemists of Al Revis on and off lately, but...this game. I want to like it, I really do. But it's so...SLOW @_@ All it's been so far is a bunch of fetch quests, with absolutely NOTHING plot related coming up since I first started. I'm tempted to trade it in, but I know there's got to be more to it, so I'm keeping it for now.

19.
I'm of course looking forward to Birth by Sleep, but since that has already been mentioned, I'll bring up another game that I'm looking forward to. Valkryia Chronicles 2: I don't know much about this game besides it's a strategy RP and I know I should play the first one, but I don't have a PS3. So I might pick this one up. I was never a big fan of strategy RP's, but after playing Disgaea and Eternal Poison I'm willing to give this one a try.
DO IIIIT. The first game was amazing. And this is coming from a guy who hates strategy RPGs. ...and now I need to get a PSP ._. Anyway, Fallout New Vegas. Need I say more?
20.
I'm definately for them making another Monster Rancer game. I really loved to play that game on the GBA. It was pretty fun and entertaining.
Wish granted. Also, we need another Wild Arms game, one with a decent battle system and a good story, unlike the last 3 games they've pumped out. Maybe a remake of Wild Arms 2, although considering how badly the PS2 remake of the first game did I doubt they'd attempt that again.
21. I'm pretty sure I'm in the minority when I say that after playing this game, I REALLY want my twenty minutes back I'm sorry, but everything about this game was just plan fail to me. I played all the way up until you meet Buzz Buzz-...wow, really. A magical talking bee from the future that has a prophecy of SAVING THE WURLD(toooootally hasn't been done one quadrillion times, nosireebob). Am I supposed to be...laughing...? ANYWAY, suddenly some alien thing appears and you start fighting...and don't do crap to it. The only person that can even do any damage to it is, le gasp, MAGICAL BEE BUZZ BUZZ, but after sitting there for many, MANY TURNS, the alien thing just wouldn't die. It was at this point that every other stupid thing (and that would pretty much be everything that happened up to this point) that had happened in the game caught up with me and exploded, and then I quit. Haven't touched it since, and there is no way I'm doing it again. Granted, this could be because it was the second (or maybe third) game, but...meh
22.
With the 3DS bringing back some oldies, now seems like a good time to revive this thread. Seeing how Metal Gear Solid 3, Star Fox and Zelda all look colorful on this little thingamabob, I'd like to see Chrono Trigger and both Final Fantasy 7 and 8 be done on it. I don't know if you can get any more color out of Chrono Trigger seeing that it's full of life, but if there's a chance it can be done then I'd like to see it brought back. Final Fantasy 7 needs to do away with the lego/blocky look. I'd really get more enjoyment out of it then. And FF8, just because.... lol.
I'm honestly expecting Square to pop in a year or two and be all "Remember that FFVII remake that we said would take YEARS to make? GUESS WHAT WE LIED LOL". FFVII is too much of a cash cow for them NOT to remake it, be it sooner or later, anyway. Maybe not on the 3DS unless it was a port, but yeah. Speaking of remakes, they better remake Final Fantasy V and VI for the 3DS. I've been waiting for that since FFIV DS :x Also, another Megaman Legends game would be amazing, amusing Capcom can stop milking the original series for all of a year or two [s]or perhaps actually END IT[/s] and somebody give Keiji Inufane a couple million
23. I went on another Gamestop raid the other day and bought Persona 4, FullMetal Alchemist 2: Curse of the Crimson Elixir, Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner 2 (not I haven't played the first one, but it was the Limited Edition and it was there for $20 brand new, so I wasn't about to let another Atlus game slip by me into 'never going to find this game again' land even if I know I'll be raging about it in a month), and Rune Factory 2. I've mostly been playing Persona 4, since it's addictive as crack and about ten times more flexible than P3 ever was or will be- meaning I don't have to start a new game if I'm underleveled when I reach a boss because there's nowhere to grind and I can't leave the area, which has NO save point.
