I would never run from my teachers..... they aren't like typical teachers or professors. They don't dress in slacks or flowery dresses. They don't have funny names, wear glasses, or accept apples. All of my teachers are in their late 20's, and could probaby hunt me down. One of my teachers actually flips students the finger, and threatens to bust out with the Tai-Kwan-Do(sp?) moves! Ugh..... my teachers have personality flaws, attitude problems, and are down-right questionable....:bawl: :mrt: "I pity 'da fool who runs from Nova teachers!"

Speaking of old school toons...... does anyone watch the "Tex Avery Show" on Cartoon Network? In my opinion, Avery's renditions of the Warner Brothers' characters(Looney Tunes) were the best, and the dialog was hilarious(for old school.) Also, who loooooooves:love: SPUMCO toons?! (Ren and Stimpy, Cow and Chicken, I AM WEASEL, The Ripping Friends, George and Timmy, Weekend P-ssy Hunt, The Heartaches.... etc.) The best cartoon creators.... EVER, end of discussion!:smirk: :toothy:

My friend said that she's done artwork and illustrations for Card Captor Sakura, Fushigi Yuugi, and some other animes that I can't remember at this moment.... And yes, Dark-sama is very kawaii:tasty: (but not in a boy-ish way -_-)!!

Just recently, my mom sent me this in an e-mail she received. It's a forwarded letter that's been circulating since the September 11th tragedy. I believe this letter is important (or I wouldn't have spent the effort to post it.) Whether you're for or against war, whether you're a pacifist or not, whether you're sure of your opinions, or undecided...... this e-mail has significance. Where do you stand in the world today, in this time of tragedy? Do you know, or are you uncertain? This e-mail just may help you figure it out. {If this offends anybody..... I'm sorry. If you read it correctly... it shouldn't.:box:} "Muslims in America ... You worry me You worry me. I wish you didn't. I wish when I walked down the streets of this country that I love, that your color and culture still blended with the beautiful human landscape we enjoy in this country. But you don't blend anymore. I notice you, and it worries me. I notice you because I can't help it anymore. People from your homelands, and professing to be Muslims, have been attacking and killing my fellow citizens and our friends for more than 20 years now. I don't fully understand their grievances and hate but I know nothing can justify the inhumanity of their attacks. On Sept. 11, nineteen Arab-Muslims hijacked four jetliners in my country. They cut the throats of women in front of children and brutally stabbed to death others. They took control of those planes and crashed them into buildings killing thousands of proud fathers, loving sons, wise grandparents, elegant daughters, best friends, favorite coaches, fearless public servants, and children's mothers. So I notice you now. I don't want to be worried. I don't want to be consumed by the same rage and hate and prejudice that has destroyed the soul of these terrorists. But I need your help. As a rational American, trying to protect my country and family in an irrational and unsafe world, I must know how to differentiate between you. How do I differentiate between the true Arab-Muslim-Americans and the Arab-Muslims in our communities who are attending our schools, enjoying our parks, etc. ... while they plot the next attack that will slaughter those very same good neighbors and children? The answer to my own questions that it is past the time for me to try to determine this. The events of Sept. 11th changed the answer. It is time for every Arab-Muslim in this country to determine it for me. I want to know, I demand to know, if you love America. Do you pledge allegiance to its flag? Do you pray in your many daily prayers that Allah will bless this nation, that He will protect and prosper it? Are you thankful for the freedom that only this nation affords? A freedom that was paid for by the blood of hundreds of thousands of patriots? Are you willing to preserve this freedom with the spilling of your own blood? Do you love America? And if this is your commitment, then I need you to start letting me know about it. Your Muslim leaders in this nation should be flooding the media at this time with hard facts on your faith, and what hard actions you are taking as a community and religion to protect the United States of America. Please, no more benign overtures of regret for the death of the innocent (I worry who you regard as innocent) and condemnation of unprovoked attacks (I worry what is unprovoked to you.) I am not interested in any more sympathy; I am interested only in action. What will you do for America - the country -- at this time of crisis, at this time of war? I want to see Arab-Muslims waving the flag in the streets. I want to hear you chanting Allah Bless America. I want to see Arab-Muslim young men enlisting in the military. I want to see a commitment of money and time and emotion to the victims of this butchering and to this nation as a whole. The FBI has a list of over 400 people they want to talk to regarding the WTC attack. Many of these people live and socialize in Muslim communities. You know them. You know where they are. Deliver them up, now. But I have seen little even approaching this sort of action. Instead I have seen an already closed and secretive community close even tighter. You have disappeared from the streets. You have posted armed security guards at your facilities. You have threatened lawsuits. You have screamed for protection from reprisal. The few Arab-Muslim representatives that have appeared on the media are defensive and equivocating. They seem more concerned with making sure the U. S. prove who is responsible before they act, and protecting their own people from any violence directed toward them, here in the U.S. and abroad. If the true teachings of Islam proclaim tolerance and peace and love for all people then I want chapter and verse from the Koran and statements from popular Muslim leaders to back it up. Because even if the teachings in the Koran are good and pure and true, it matters little if large numbers of current Islamic practitioners interpret the teachings of Mohammed incorrectly and adhere to a degenerative form of the religion. I want to know where every Arab-Muslim in this country stands and I think it is within my right and the right of every true citizen of this country to demand it. A right paid for by the blood of thousands of my brothers and sisters. I am pleading with you to let me know. I want you here as my brother, my neighbor, my friend, as a fellow American. But there can be no gray areas or ambivalence regarding your allegiance and it is up to you to show me where you stand. Until then ... you worry me." If a God or Goddess feels the need to close or delete this thread, go ahead.... it's not like I can stop you. I've made my choice, and so have you.
Originally posted by BabyGirl Pessimism can go to a certain point...and then it just gets overbearing and no one wants to listen anymore because it makes them feel sad...
Yep, yep... I'm an extremely pessimistic person, and yes, my glass is always three quarters empty... :p :) The thing is, I enjoy the good aspects of life, and criticize the bad ones. I guess I'm kinda hypocritical, as well. In all honesty, I've never experienced a .... "partner(lol?)" type love. The love that I've had, and lost.... has always been family orientated. There's more than one way to fall in love, more than one type of person to fall into it with, and definately, more than one way to fall out. My circumstances with love, and all of its greatness has made me a slightly bitter, and unpleasant person (I just see no purpose for love, anymore).... I'm sorry for subjecting everyone here, to my opinions.... I didn't realize I may have saddened anyone at the time, of my initial posting. Many Sorries...

People fall in love, because we've been brain-washed to do so. Love isn't so great; biochemically, no different than eating large sums of chocolate. Why do we fall into love? Better yet, why do we feel obligated to? Love, more often than not(according to statistics), leads to an unhappy marriage, a messy divorce, and psychopathic, depressed, and/or scarred children.... "Falling in love".... isn't it painfully true? -Always leads to some sort of pain...

Cupid is the Roman translation of Eros, Greek God of Love. His arrows induce love, and sexual lust. This is why, when Cupid strikes anyone with an arrow, they immediately fall in love. A heart with a cupid's arrow through it, is a heart that has experienced true love. Hmm... I hope this helps you understand the heart and arrow thing. Forte basically summed up the "Broken Heart" part-of-speech. :lecture:

Computer Technicians are like plumbers, or V.C.R. repair men...... they don't have lives, so they like to screw with people who do. This is why everyone must get a G.E.D., get into college, and become smart..... so your name tag won't say, "Bob.. Plumbing and Waste Specialist." :lecture:
Originally posted by Snow You dont have a DVD player!? God, you are a poor deprived child. lol, jk. And a K2 board, nice. I just bought a Burton Bullet myself. I didn't trust my mom to buy me a board for Christmas. Last time she got me an Airwalk board from Sports Athority that was like 4 sizes to small. It sucked.
Haha.... I wouldn't exactly say I'm deprived... I can't afford one on my own right now, and my mom is technologically challeged when it comes to DVD's and players. Yeah, the K2 is nice. I was tired of sharing the Burton with my mom..... she knows a lot about boards and bindings, but I can still snowboard better than she can. :p However, she did buy a piece of cr@p E.S.P. youth board for me on e-bay once, thinking it was a regular board(I'll never let her live it down, it's made out of plastic!).... we're still trying to sell it. :rotflmao:

Some of my Christmas gifts have already been given to me.... I got a new beeper, because I ran over my last one -_-, my new snowboard came in the mail a few days ago *runs to her K2 Luna, and hugs it*, and we're going to Park City Utah this season.. Wahoo!(it's a good enough gift, in itself.) As for Christmas wishes... I'm still hoping *crosses fingers* that my mom will get me a DVD player. She doesn't see the difference between DVD and VHS... *le sigh* Can you say, 'old fashioned'? Hmm.... clothes are always nice.... and maybe a new car. ;) God I'm spoiled.:help:

Well, as far as I know.... Yuugi's grandfather was killed some how, and Yuugi inherited his magical cards. Now, he and his friends have travled to this mystical island, where there's a tournament being held. There are battle stations set up all around. Everytime you battle someone and their 'cards', you earn a star... earn ten, and you get to enter some guy's castle, and engage in an ultimate battle. SO.... Yuugi wants to earn all ten stars, so he can challenge this mystery guy, because someone told him, that this guy is that one who killed his grand dad. Does any of that make sense? I hope....... Abstract: Yuugi is searching for his grandfather's murderer(seeks revenge... or something). His journey leads him to this mystery island. I don't really like this anime; it's very corny, in my opinion.... but can be entertaining when you're extremely bored. Trust me..:lecture:

...You can try D.N.Angel..... but, uhh..... it isn't translated, so.... you're little brother has to be able to read Japanese. -_-

I think I may go to the beach on Christmas :wow:. Hey, I live in Florida, okay..... it's a damn shame. It's like, 85 degrees outside, the A.C. is blasting, and the 'good' lord knows, it's only going to get hotter before Christmas rolls around. I have a discrepancy..... why are you people spelling Christmas, X-mas. If you celebrate Christmas, you technically believe in Christ, right? You shouldn't have to literally, ex out his name. People who don't have faith in Christ, spell Christmas as X-mas. Well, I don't believe in Christ..... but I still spell Christmas, christmas.... go figure. :therock: I'm doing it again! Why do my posts always turn into lectures?
