1. One time I was at my cousin's house and I went to school with her one day. It was April Fool's day, so we wanted to play a prank on the teacher (this was in, like, 4th grade mind you :toothy: )! Anyways, when he got up to go to the bathroom or something we took his desk and everything and put it on the opposite side of the room and we put his chair in the closet.... he was so confused when he came back! :cross: Well, I know that isn't a very good one, but I tried! :)
2.
Originally posted by Squashed Snail Do you mean the family movie? 'Cause I don't believe there is a war movie called Braveheart.....
The family movie???? I don't know if I would consider Braveheart a family movie  ... but maybe we are talking about different things here! One of my favorite war movies is Pearl Harbor... even though you guys dont seem to like it very much.... I probably like it just because it is a chick flick!
3. I watched some parts of the Grammys last night... the only thing I thought was weird was that Nelly and 'N Sync did a song together.... whats up with that? :smirk: One thing that bothered me about the Grammys (and all other awards shows for that matter) is that they start playing music when artists are saying their thanks for an award! :butthead: They are like, "Hey... get off the stage now!" I just think that is kind of rude!
4. I love all oldies.... those were the times when songs were actually good and the singers had a lot of talent.... we don't have that too much these days!
5. i think i would pick A or C because I would love to be the biggest dork (as many other people would agree;) because if you are a dork... that makes you cool! Sorry, everyone, but I don't read anime or really watch it so A would be fine too :)
6.
Originally posted by DuoGod of Death Well I am still in Middle School so no Prom here....I can't wait to get into high school for all that fun stuff...lol...*waits for everyone to laugh* But yeah the one time our school had a dance it was pretty much a dud I was the only guy dancing with another girl...and hardly anyone danced...they all played basketball:rolleyes:
Middle school is the good times! We used to have dances when we were in 7th grade.... actually the whole 7th grade used to go to camp and they would teach us how to dance! Haha.... it was a bad sight! Savor the middle school times though, they are the best! :)
7. Tennis rules! It is bascially the only sport I am good at and it is a good time! I used to be into other sports.... but I just suck now! ;)
8. What does everyone think of school dance such as prom, homecoming, winter ball, ect.? Do you guys attend... and if you do... what do you think of them? Are they cool or not? Personally, our school's homecoming is the dumbest thing in the world... the DJ's always suck and there are only like 50 people there:sleep: ! Prom is always a good time because only juniors and seniors can go... which makes it a whole lot better! Everyone share your stories and/or what you think of organized school dances!
9. Hey everyone! There's no need to come down on Neopets and people who are addicted to the Neopets.com website (I once used to be one :))! If it's your thing, it's your thing:D ! Actually, that reminds me.... babygirl got me into neopets.... what do you guys think of it now? She got our whole senior class into it for at least a month... all of the computers at our school were at neopets.com for at least an hour a day  . So... I think it's a good time.... if you have time and patience for it... you need some strategic skills too... Also... I agree about the no age limit.... it is fun for any age! .... Or maybe I am just a little bit too childish:rolleyes:
10. I would have another person with me to keep me company.... I think I would go insane without someone there with me! I'd start talking to myself(just like Tom Hanks) and making friends with volleyballs! :p
11. well, the thing is.... it is a community college... i don't think it should be that big of a deal! And another problem i am having is that it is not fully healed so if I take it out than it might close up!!!
12.
Originally posted by Heaven's Cloud I am not sure how many of you are aware of this, but right now there is a huge debate occuring within America's educational system. The debate is over whether or not private and home school students should be regulated by the public school system. In other words, the ciriculum that private and home schooled students use must be approved by the public school system. This will create a standard for learning in both privte school and home school situations. So my question for you is SHOULD THE PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEM BE ABLE TO REGULATE LEARNING IN BOTH HOME AND PRIVATE SCHOOL ATMOSPHERES? I am going to play devils advocate for awhile before I post my opinion and reasoning...
Well, I didn't even know that this debate was going on (that's how much I pay attention to the news! :D ), but I have an opinion. :)... sorta I think that the public school system should be able to regulate learning in public schools... obviously. I don't think that they should have a say in how public or home schools are run. Don't the private and home schools have some sort of "board" or something to answer to? Because if the private and home schools answered to the public school system they would be publie (in a way) also. I hope this makes sense :).
13. This is a question for everyone.... I have my eyebrow pierced and I have an interview for a scholarship on Thursday.... do you think that I should take it out for the interview or just leave it in? I mean.. it is a college and I am sure they have seen way worse things than an eyebrow ring... I just don't know if it would look better (to them) if I took it out. Do you think my chances of getting the scholarship will be slimmed if I do wear it there?
14. I don't know what I think about curling.... I watched it on TV last night... it was weird. I think that it isn't a sport, but a game of skill... there is a difference :)
15. 1. No.... I do not think that it is an easy thing to do... falling in love is hard.... a lot of people think that they are in love when they really are not... I know from experience :p 2. No... I don't fall out of love easily either.... on of my boyfriend's dumped me and was a complete jerk to me after that but I still loved him for a long time! :) 3. Longest time I have ever dated someone is 2 years... but that was in fifth grade so i don't know if that counts or not! But the relationship I am in right now has been a year and 3 months. 4. Shortest time I have ever dated someone..... that would be one day! It was a long time ago... but I dated some guy just to get a Valentine's day present! I would never do that nowadays, though. That was in, like, 5th grade! 5. Average relationship time? I don't really have one!
16. Some of my all time favorite movies are: Billy Madison Romeo & Juliet and.... any Disney movie (I know they are cartoons, but I had to put them on there! :))
17. I don't really know why I am doing this.... I am happy with my boyfriend, but I just feel like posting something tonight! ;) Name: goddess21 Real Name: Rachel Age: 18 Sex: Female Interests: Hanging out with friends, music, dancing, working - yeah right!
18. I do think people in high school can be in love... it all depends. I am very much in love with my boyfriend and I am a senior in high school. I think it depends on the person who you are in a relationship with and if the two people in the relationship are mentally capable of love. Most teenagers do not know what love is.... and I am not saying that I do... I just think I do!:D Sometimes teenagers just want to be in love but they actually are not. But from what I know of it.... love is pretty cool!
19. I am so sorry about that kitty.... I am glad that you took her in and gave her a good home. And about animal cruelty... I think that is one of the absolute worst things that you can do. How could anyone hurt a defenseless, cute little(or big) animal? It just doesn't make sense to me! Another thing that I thought was cool was that I saw this commercial on TV for WSPA.. that stands for World Society for the Protection of Animals... and you can call them to donate money or find other ways to help animals. Also, it was really sad on the commercial. There were grizzly bears being made to dance for tourists and other disturbing things like that. I almost cried, it was so sad. It would be the coolest thing to go and save all of the animals that are abused in the world, wouldn't it? Anyone who hurts animals is a cruel and weak individual who has to take it out on animals to make them feel better about themselves.... what losers!:(
20. This doesn't have much to do with pain endurance, but the first post just reminded me of this time in fifth grade when we were playing dodge ball. I threw a ball at some guy and it hit him "below the belt".... I was really close to him too! I felt so bad afterwards, but I just ran away!
21. I agree with you on the F-ed up part.... after the movie ended I just wanted to go out and tell everyone never to do any hard-core, addictive drugs.... it scared me to death. If anyone ever does not want their kids to do drugs, just show them this movie! I also felt bad for the mother.... it was scary when the refrigerator was like, trying to eat her....
22. This may seem like a weird thing to talk about, but I was just wondering if anyone has seen the movie "Requiem for a Dream" and if you have, what did you think about it? I just saw it last night and it made me want to cry:bawl: ... well not that much! If you have any comments or anything about the movie, I just want to know what everyone's opinion of it is!
23. Surely, that was an awesome game! I didn't even think that I was going to watch the Superbowl this year, but hey, I did, and it was great! I thought for sure that the Patriots were going to lose, but I was completely wrong! What a great game! :)
24. I think the absolute greatest song to listen to when you have just broken up with someone is Limp Bizkit's "Rearranged" (especially the lyric, "You're no good for me.... thank God it's over). It just makes you feel like you are empowered and just gives you a good feeling! So pump up that song and go out there and get another mate!
25. Yeah.... most chat rooms are absolutely dumb! You can't tell who is talking to who and what is going on! The only time I ever go into them is when I am bored out of my mind and I have nothing else to do online! But if it's your thing, hey, it's cool! :)
