Oh...I have damaged my head many times... First time was when my family and I were at a river when I was bout five. My sister dared me to jump off a rock, and I did (being the idiot I was) and my head split open. I was rushed to the emergency room and had to get stitches. When I was about 6, my family and my aunt's family went to this beach house in Florida. My sister and my cousin were fishing, and they told me to go get some more bait...or something. I was running, and I ran right into a glass door. I was knocked out for several minutes. I was at my cousin's house when I was about 4, and he was pretending to be horse, and I was sitting on his back. He slid on the wooden floor and I slammed into the wall, head first. I was knocked about...again. When I was about 7, I was at a roller rink. Some guy jumped in ahead of me and I got surprised and went out of control. I made contact with the wall, head first. Guess what? I was knocked out. When I was 7, I was annoying the hell out of my dog by pulling its tail, and it got mad and attacked me. The dog hit head my head and fell back hard onto the wall. Can you guess what happened?

It was part of the picture...Jeez, Jean, you seem very interested about the picture. Even PMed me about it! lol... No problem, though.

I personally don't remember my most embarrasing moment...though I always got very embarrased when I would do something in front of a large group of people when I was little. I really have no problem with it now...

Ok...third time saying this... I believe that anime was infulenced off of Walt Disney's cartoons, (i.e. Mickey Mouse) with the big eyes, small mouth design. I'm saying that in anime, the animators have exaggerated the designs, makind specific expressions and is now more commonly known as anime. The recent american cartoons, (i.e. Totally Spies, Teen Titans) are just trying to blend the anime style in! (using specific expressions that were created in anime) Please read the thread before you reply...

I like them both! ^_^ I really like the shading you did in the first one, especially the background. The animal look very nice as well, I like the design. I don't like the second one as much as the first, but it's still very good. The ink is good, and the design is very detailed, so...it's really good! lol. Nice job, as usual.

when do you guy go back to the hellhole aka school?
eleanor replied to darkside's topic in General Discussion
O_o I thought our school opened August 12th, Jean....Lol, but the sooner the better. I'm really getting sick of summer, even though I don't have much friends at school! ^_^;;; -
I think I like the idea of american animators mixing anime styles in with their cartoons. How else are obsessed anime-drawing freaks gonna get a job, eh? lol Semjaza, I pretty much agree on everything, it's just something new to see american cartoonists trying to blend the two cultures. ...I'm sounding messed up. O_o I think the person who made Samurai Jack is also the director of Dexter's Laboratory, and the creator himself said he was a huge fan of anime...

I actually liked the shows, even with its sex scene. I just switched the channel until it finished...lol, but the plotline of that show was whacked... I think the next one is more marriage angst and these twins who don't want to look like each other.

What? I love Vash's character design. I wish I had his red trenchcoat thingy. Anyways, nice picture. I think everything is in proportion, though I can see what you meant when you said you tracked off the Trigun style.^_^ Like the watercolor...Good job!

Yeah, I agree with you. As I said earlier, parents should know their children enough to know if they're responsible enough to watch movies like those. Of course...they could have just gone without permission. When I saw Matrix: Reloaded, the people didn't even ask me if I was over 17, and the police-men just checked the ticket stubs.

I don't think the certain picture of Wolfwood you used is that good...you should try finding some kind of chibi-wolfwood or a picture of him facinf us or something. Good job, though.

when do you guy go back to the hellhole aka school?
eleanor replied to darkside's topic in General Discussion
August 12th. Am I the only one that's happy to go back? It's pretty boring at home, I just come to OB for a while, draw, sleep, and eat. Yesh, very exciting. Our school work is easy, anyway... -
Got tired of my other banner, I think everyone's read it by now, lol. So...I made this new banner. What do you think? (it's in my signature)

Yeah...the skeleton thing looks pretty....weird. O_o Her shoes/boots look kind of weird as well for some reason. But anyway, nice job with everything else. Us usual, your CG amazes me...

::twirls around and tells "Weasley is our King":: Is there any size limit? The picture I'm drawing is sort of big...so should I just enter the original or size it down?

I loved the ending to End of Evangelion for some reason...I just though Evangelion shouldn't get some kind of happy-happy ending where everyone is happy and Shinji saves the worlds. O_o

I'm going to Anime Weekend Atlanta in September...It'll be the first convention I'll go to, and I'm very excited! ^_^

How can anyone pull an all-nighter? It's so...boring. There's usually nothing for me to do except get online, so I just go to sleep instead, lol.

The eternal Question " How the hell do women think?!"
eleanor replied to a topic in General Discussion
I don't think you'll ever know. -
So? I can name hundreds of movies that have killing in it. The people who watch it should be responsible enough to know that they shouldn't go around killing people. What kind of question is that? If movie characters can do it, so can we! Yeah, and if the movie characters can fly and beat up 100 agents, heck, why not? That's why the Matrix was rated R. A BIG FAT R.

Tasrai, I'm partly agreeing with you. They probably are using it as a cover story, but I've heard of plenty of people who have died trying to do the stunts in The Fast and the Furious....

Art The path to insanity... Enter the Matrix o0
eleanor replied to DarK DeatH's topic in Creative Works
I definately agree with T_N. Either that, or this person has some serious time on their hands, and is unhealthily obsessed with the Matrix. Very cool to look at though... -
^_^ As in haywire, I was referring to the boys who were going to go on a killing spree with tons of weapons...

^_^ lol, it's quite allright. Background: Seita, the older brother of Setsuko, are both homeless due to a bombing of Kobe in 1945. Their mother dies, and the two children cannot contact their father, who is in the forces. The go to an aunt's house, and then go on to an air-raid shelter and the movie tells what happens. One of the things that drew me to the movie was that it
showed the two children dying in the very beginning, and as the movie goes on you wish that they don't, but it's inevitable.
