You DO know that if you are going to have spoilers about movies or whatever in this forum you need to put it in the title, right? Because you didn't do that. You people need to stop trashing the movie, I saw it and I thought it was hilarious! :p I mean, if you like the cartoon, you are going to like the movie. Everyone played their roles really well, especially Shaggy and Scooby (even though he's a computer animation, lol). I mean, as much as I thought this movie would be bad because of Freddie Prinze Jr. and Sarah Michelle Gellar being in it, I thought it was done really well. It is a little modernized but that is to be expected cause they don't have set back in the 70's like the cartoon, so it works out. I mean, Matthew Lilliard, who played Shaggy, in order to get his voice to sound like Shaggy's he screamed constantly until his voice became scratchy like Shaggy's, and he actually ended up with laryngitis, lol. Now that's dedication to your role. The movie is not that long, but it didn't really interfere with the story line in having it crammed into a small time slot. Everything ran really smoothly. The only part I didn't like about the movie were the enuendos about Shaggy being a pothead. I despise those people that accuse him of that. I can disprove all accusations. For example, always having the munchies: Have you seen how skinny the guy is? He has a high metabolism! So he is going to be hungry more often and want to eat a lot. :p And Scooby is just a dog, and will eat anything at any amount, lol. Anyway, I say if you liked the cartoon you will like the movie. And if you like the movie then FYI, it is already signed for a sequel. Hopefully they can make that just as good. By the way, I'm disappointed that you people already told who the 'bad guy' is. I mean, ESPECIALLY since you didn't put in the title that there would be spoilers in here, it is really going to ruin it for those who wanted to see it and not have it be ruined. If I already hadn't seen I would really be biting your head off right now for giving it away. I mean, it's just like back in the Star Wars days, if someone saw them before you and posted the Darth Vader is Luke's father. You could imagine you'd be really irritated.

Anime The small witch with tha crystal ball!!!!!
PiroMunkie replied to SSJ Gotenks ok's topic in Otaku Central
Yes yes, as it has been said her dub name is Baba, I believe her actual name is Uranai Baba. And from Muten Roshi calling her "sis" in last nights epsiode on the midnight run, one could only assume they are related. Everything has been said, and just the overall quality of this topic is pretty low. So this is now closed. -
My sister likes to download those bonzi buddy and comet cursor things. I just go in and delete the files every time. I do believe I am the only person that knows where all the files are downloaded to on this computer, lol. Sometimes they'll stumble upon it, but what is really fun is changing the sounds this computer makes for certain things. For example, today AOL ( ::shudder:: ) has this thing for new sounds when you sign on, get mail, and log off. It is in "celebration" of the Scooby Doo movie, and you can get Shaggy saying "Like, Hi!!", "Zoinks! You've got mail!", and "See ya later, dude." Being the big fan of Scooby Doo I am I put those sounds in, meheheh. It drives my sister insane, and my mom could care less. Since it drives my sister crazy it means she doesn't spend as much time online, which means more time for me :p.

My dad is a golf fanatic, and he is also a funny guy. So I got him the movie Caddy Shack. :p He loved it.

Ahh, but it wasn't a mistake. It would have benn much better to go in and get the others out before destroying Buu. If they were to go to Namek and use their DragonBalls you have to remember you only get three wishes and only one person wished back alive per wish. Unless you make the wish general, in which case they would have had to wish everybody killed by Buu back to life. This would include Babi-Dee and Dabura, who could just recreate a whole different and possibly more powerful buu now that the first one is gone.
Originally posted by Squashed Snail It's pretty funny, I mean, our dog lived 'till it was 29 in human years....so what, that means something 60 years old in dog years? Whoa....
Dude... if your dog lived for 29 years, it would be 203 in human years... Just multiply the human years age by 7.
Originally posted by Sephiroth *smacks hand on forehead* what is it with all these pan fanatics on these boards, yeesh, lol....
Meheh, you have no idea. We're talking 338 pictures of her on my computer, lol. 15.8 Megabytes. I can't say they are all different. I know there are a few doubles, probably about 6 pairs of doubles, but the rest are all different. Why do I have them you ask? No reason. Just to have them. :)
Originally posted by ProudClod And what facts are there to face, I know, you know it, everyone knows it, Dragonball is over 10 years old, of course its over.
Meh, except for the nubbies (new dubbies) that think it is something that just started. You haven o idea how many of them I run into just here in this city... Anyway, let's get back to talking about Pan, lol.

Meheh. you could always watch infomericals. :p I'm hopelessly addicted to those things. I watch them all the time if I am up late enough to catch them. If my mom wakes me up in the morning for some reason after a night that I've watched some, I usually tell her all about them. :D

Ugh, that movie looks really stupid to me. I don't know how much they spent on making that movie, but I sure hope it wasn't too much or they wasted their money. It just looks like a little kid's movie. Not quite the stuff I'm into seeing..
Originally posted by ProudClod It is possible actually, Toryama may want to continue starting off the next Dragonball series with Goku and Vegeta Jr, and then introducing a whole load of new characters.
Ok, just take a moment. Look at what you posted... Ok? Did you read it? Remember what is in the italics. Good. Now read what I had posted previously.
Originally posted by PiroMunkie So it doesn't really fit in that someone could restart the series unless they introduced a bunch of new characters.
The part in italics is what I'm getting at. Do you see? You just ignored what I posted and went on on your own little rant. The DragonBall series has been OVER for many years now. It is not getting restarted. So talking about it like it is, is just pointless. Face the facts.

About the training and getting stronger thing. You can train as much as you want and you don't neccesarily gain another level automatically. Something has to trigger the transformation. If things were the way you sadi they were, both Gokou and Vegeta would have became a Super Saiya-jin much ealier than they did. Brolli became a Super Saiya-jin at a young age, and with not much power. So, in the way you're saying, by the time Vegeta and Nappa came to Earth, they both would have attained the level of Super Saiya-jin just as Brolli did, but they hadn't. Though, it took the death of Krillen and the near death of Piccolo to trigger his transformation. Marai no Trunks became a Spuer Saiya-jin after Android #17 and #18 killed Gohan (in the future timeline). Vegeta's transformation was triggered by losing hope that he will ever become stronger than Kakarotto, and that he will never become a Super Saiya-jin. They only exceptions to this are Goten and Chibi Trunks. No one really knows why they were just able to do it.

I believe that one human year is nine cat years. I think I heard that somewhere before. I could be wrong.

A man on Mars... incredible. Hopefully when/if it happens, people don't let it go to their heads and start doing a whole bunch of things with Mars that isnt neccessary. But putting a person on Mars... Next thing you know we will be putting up space colonies on the moon.
Originally posted by Saiyangohan2002 (mweh, and here i was thinking it was a ssj5 Vegeta with his lovely wife)
Make a note to yourself and remember this. The level of Super Saiya-jin 5 does NOT exist. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. And TED, Vegeta attains level 4 when he arrives to fight Ii Shenron with the help of Bulma's brute ray (as Cruizr mentioned).
-
You people have to understand though, with how GT ended, there is no way they could actually carry on the series. Gokou is no longer on Earth since he sacrificed himself to be with the Shenron (the eternal dragon). In the supposed "AF", Gokou exists. In the TV special of GT at the very end, Pan is an old lady, and we don't even know if the likes of Gohan and them still exist. So it doesn't really fit in that someone could restart the series unless they introduced a bunch of new characters.

It would be because she got possessed by Bebi. Though I always assumed Bulma got possessed as well. It was the only way I could explain the attachment...

I see people have spoken about the Harlequin and Ravenstorture, and I just wanted to touch on that for a second. Even considering that they are fairly young, I can believe that they do possess very strong feelings for each other. Both seem very mature for their age, and you can see this in the way that they write. I hold a lot of respect for both of them and what they have. Those of you who commented on saying "I can't live without him" and spoke down about it, don't pay much attention to their style of writing. They both come off very tragic to me, very Romeo&Juliet-like(hopefully they can change the outcome of their story). So they will say things like that. It is not supposed to be taken in the most literal sense that if one of them dies, the other will physically die as well. It is more to that if one of them was to leave, the other would feel empty because something he/she once had is now missing. I really enjoy reading their posts when they talk about each other. I am really happy for both of them. A lot of the time when I see people post (or say in real life) things like thery are in love with a person, I am appalled (pardon if I'm spelling that wrong, I can never remember if it has one "p" or two) cause I know that they are lying. But when I see the Harlequin and Ravenstorture say thery love each other, I can believe it (at least on some level). If they continue to be with each other throughout the coming years, I can see that they very well seriously and truly each other like people should love their significant other. That is all I have to say for now.

Well if it weren't for Aol's darn parental controls knocking me offline, I'd be on here all night. But nay, I am forced off at 11pm and am unable to get back on until 7am. Between those hours I just go up to my room and watch tv or do whatever until about 4am. Then I go to sleep and get up about noon, then get online all day. :)

Ugh, this topic makes me sick. You people throw the word love around so carelessly when it is such a fragile thing. If you are just in a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship, you don't love her, you just like her. Regardless of what you may think. People who say they love each other (and mean it) are often on the verge of marriage, if not already married. So if you are just in a relationship where you are just boyfriend and girlfriend, don't even go telling each other you love each other, because that love (like wrist cutter so bluntly said) is ****. If you dry it out you could feritlize the lawn with it. I have a girlfriend (in real life) and we always tell each other that we like each other, but never once will you here us say love. You can be totally head over heel over someone, but still not love them. Kids these days...

Yeah, I've known it has been a for sure thing for a little while now. Along with various other movies... Ironman will hopefully be a good one. :)

Yeah, I watched it once. I found it kind of fun to watch. Though, it is kind of sad when the geeks lose. Cause they're geeks, and their knowledge of their particular subject is what keeps them going. Then they lose. Now they have nothing to live for. Lol..

Ok, this topic is getting nowhere fast. All I am seeing is a bunch of the same posts, just by different people. If you would like to further continue what the cat's name is. Look it up online. Topic Closed.
