Gaming poll: why do you like gamecube, and what trait is the best
bignatedawg replied to a topic in Noosphere
Originally posted by Solid Snake I can see your reason behind it, but saying that you like Nintendo because they are Nintendo isn't going to cut it. :blah:
What I meant was that I know Nintendo will allways make my favorite games like Mario, Zelda and Metroid, along with other games that will only be on Nintendo systems. If I know Nintendo is making a system, I know these kind of games will follow with even more games I'm gonna like. Of corse you can't have a system without games, thats just common sense, but if a company has a precidence for good games, I'll buy for the system and the company. Its like I said, I'll stick with Nintendo to the bitter end. -
Only one chao can be in the garden at one time, so you either have to transfer your first chao into the chao gardens for SA2:B for GCN, or treat your current chao really bad, and it will eventualy run away. After that, you just have to rub the egg to hatch it.

Theres not much I got planned for summer. All I know is that i'm going to somewhere on vacation in August and the rest of the summer is reserved for doing nothing. Oh, and sleeping

Gaming poll: why do you like gamecube, and what trait is the best

The main reason I bought a GCN is because I know Nintendo wouldn't let me down. I've stuck with Nintendo from the very beggining, and i'm not gonna stop now. As long as they keep making those good old Mario, Zelda, Metroid and other favorites I grew up on, I'll stick with Nintendo through thick and thin, to the bitter end. -
Anime Guy Only Topic: Who Dou Think Is The Finest Anime Chick??
bignatedawg replied to SSJ Gotenks ok's topic in Otaku Central
Lets see, all the Dragon Ball girls mentioned, Rikku from FFX, and Faye Valentine from Cowboy Bebop.......yeah those are the ones...... -
I like the dungeons in the game boy Zelda games. They have some pretty good puzzles that make you feel proud of yourself when you solve them. Plus with the GB they are somewhat limited on how far they can improve on the dungeons, especialy making them as good as OoT (it would be hard to fight a boss like Queen Gohma with a top view perspective.) And besides, runing around dungeons is what Zelda games are about.

The multiplayer for this game is addicting. At one point when I had the game for a while, I would only play the adventure mode to find different outfits for the multiplayer mode. And to unlock the four secret bonus stages for the multiplayer was easy, all you had to do is push the start button pretty fast at the title screen untill it made a chime sound.
-
I figure, if they allready have an edited version of GTA3 for the PS2, then they would release the edited version for the GCN. That's if, and only if, the game even comes out for the Game Cube.
-
Thanks for the information. I liked the game for the N 64, and was planning on buying it for the GCN. Thats probably the next game I'm gonna get now.

Even though I've seen all of the buu saga from dowloading the episodes off of the internet, I would still like to see the dubbed ones on cartoon network. I've never seen any of DragonBall before they started showing it on CN, so i'm anticipating that. I still miss the old toonami, when Moltar from space ghost was still the host, back when they would show Thundercats, Johny Quest, sailor moon, Voltron, all the good old shows.

My room is not like an average room, I guess. Its more long than wide. Its got a bed, a dresser, a big chair, a coffee table, a desk, and a cabinet thing which holds my NES, SNES, N 64, Genesis, GCN, VCR, DVD player, and my TV on top of it(with cable). My floor is usualy clear, but my dresser, desk and table are always filled with junk and magazines. I've got a few posters(mostly of video games), a mirror, and a bulletin board on my walls. I've got an X-wing model and a bobbing-head Ravens figure on top of my TV. My cabinet that holds my gaming systems fits everything perfectly, even though its not meant to hold any of the stuff in it. Yep, thats my room in a nut-shell (its a big nut-shell).

Trance is better for dancing. Techno music can get annoying with the words and all, especialy when the words are usualy unaudible and repetetive.
Originally posted by The Elite DBZ I remember there being a kind of CD NES that went down very badly in almost all countries and was taken off the production line prematurely by nintendo. Correct me if I'm wrong.
You must be refering to the CD-i made by phillips, which went horribly downhill. It was made after the SNES and not a lot was ever heard of it.
Originally posted by Defcon5 Are you sure they would edit it? I don't think they would. And I'm not sure Rockstar would bring it to the GCif it was ging o be edted.
Of corse the game would be edited if it came out for the GCN. If it does come out for the game cube, I would still buy it, but it would be missing some elements that make the game GTA3. Mindless chaos is the most appealing parts of the game. Its good to have a game for a change where the objectives don't really matter. Of corse the intended game play is the best part of a game, but its good to have one game where you can just mess around. Nintendo can provide a good story line game for me, but I would still like to have just one game to go crazy with.

Anime Anyone else think theres too much smoke in DBZ!!!
bignatedawg replied to hemmorhoid's topic in Otaku Central
You got a point there, there is a lot of smoke and dust in DBZ, but I like it. -
Death used to scare me a lot, but not so much anymore. Once I learned to accept death as a part of life, it got less scarey. I don't want to die anytime soon, I'm not done with this life yet, but I'll die someday, and that day will be my time to go. Its wierd, my cat died today:(, and now I'm posting in a death topic. I'm gonna miss her, but it was just her time to go.

My top five are: -Super Smash Bros. Melee -Star Wars Rogue Leader -Luigi's Mansion -Sonic Adventure 2: Battle -James Bond: Agent Under Fire

That song is addicting. :smoke: I read about it in Nintendo Power, I liked the little claymation pikmin in the flower pot, on the cover of the single. And by the way, it says its a vocal duo, but it only sounds like one person to me.

I'm not 100% sure on this but, If you are an adult you need to find a switch that won't go down when you step on it, its because it is rusted. You need to hit the switch with the mega ton hammer, found in the fire temple. This should open the big metal doors. Again, i'm not completly sure about this, but try it anyway. If this is not correct information, then i'm sorry, I havn't played OoT in a while.
Originally posted by zelda's hero actually, i think it is very talented that you can play those in real life. takes alot of practice, and of knowing how to play a guitar...i think it's really cool:whoops:
Thanks, at least someone out there appreciates what i'm doing, but the begginings of the songs are easy to learn, it gives you the notes when you play them. The rest of the song is the hard part, you just have to sit there and listen to it a few hundred times.
Originally posted by lasereyes It is in fact, very real, very heavy, and very usable. So before you go dismissing this project as just some political cartoon, I invite you to come pick up all 100 pounds of it (108 if you add the cartridge) and take a look at the craftsmanship and skill that went into creating it.
Why would they make 8 pound cartridges? If this really is a playable game boy, i'm sure they would have fake cartridges that aren't so heavy, and have a place to put in the regular game boy games. Of corse, only if it acctualy is a working game boy.

I play the guitar. I used to play the saxaphone, and clarenet before that. I would like to learn a little bit of piano, but for now I'm concentrating on guitar. My band may not be the greatest, and we may not have a name, but we play.

I like being able to play my old game boy game on my GBA. I just like the feel of the GBA better. I play my old retro tetris and doctor mario games, more often then I play my advance games. I guess i'm just an old school gamer.

I MM I would make up my own songs, especialy on the Zora guitar. On my real guitar I can play bolearo of fire, minute of forest, song of storms, zelda'a lullaby, and the scarecrows song I made up. I know what your thinking, and I do have a life, it just isn't a very good one....lol
