1. I've been noticing that all of your posts revolve around the fact that you're selling cards and that you've been spamming a lot. This is a place to chat, if you want to sell or trade cards, do it through PM or Ebay. We've no facilities for allowing trading cards, and I'd personally advise people not to trade through PMs. We can't bear any responsibility for what happens, and we can't monitor PMs either. It's still inadvisable to send your postal address out to people you don't know very well. -Solo
2. This is pretty cool. I took the tests a while ago but just found the topic. The most noticable test results I got were Vegeta, Rei, and Tough Boy. You did great putting this together :)
3. The "No Life" rank comes when you reach 3000 posts and I believe Raiha's rank (forget the name) comes at 5000 posts. I don't believe custom ranks have ever been a feature at OB but I have seen some people with the rank "Moderator and Idiot" as a joke, so maybe it's a good idea.
4. I've gotten many good cards in boosters. Just the other day I got Thousand Dragon. Listing the cards I remember: -Thousand Dragon -Time Wizard -Toon World -Seven Tools of the Bandit (stolen from me) And I'm sure there were a lot more but I can't remember them.
5. Well, I personally don't like fighting but it is becoming more and more common as you said and the tension is growing. There are two people at my school I'll probably end up getting in a fight with by the end of the year. It's not correct to fight, but if need be, I say that you should defend yourself. What do you do if somebody starts on you? That actually happens to me alot. Just the two I spoke of mostly. If they start to mess with me I simply tell them to screw off or that I'll kick their *** and they usually stare at me but I ignore them. Try to avoid it, but if they start screwing with you, I would retaliate but only if they start it. What is your style of fighting? I don't really have one, I just start looking for openings and try to get them where it hurts (no, low blows are painful, although many people seem to go for that, freaking jerks). What would you do, if you walked past a group of people beating up another group? Like the others have said, it depends on the people. If it's someone I know and they're my friend, I'll obviously help out, although my friends didn't really help when I was being choked out multiple times. If it's someone I don't really know I'll probably tell them to lay off because no one deserves to be beaten. They'll probably beat me as well, but I'll get some hits in there at least. As of late, my morale is not that high and the chances of a fight are a lot higher. I've been pissing many people off and 3 guys years older than me were searching for me and were going to break my leg in 6 places but I avoided it. Don't try to get into fights, but don't back out, you'll only get grief for that.
6. HyperShadow, don't you live in Texas? Or am I thinking of Altron Gundam? Anyway, there are a lot of people at the tournament I go to that have MechanicalChasers. Although, many of them have like every card in existence :p Anyway, my signature card of the moment is Gravity Bind, but I don't really have a monster.
7. Don't worry, you'll find someone who likes you. I know two girls who like me but one is insane and the other left school. I don't really care, I'm considered "the freak" but I like it that way. All I can say is don't give up hope, someone will come :)
8. It's not really that bad when people insult Yu-Gi-Oh, or any other anime or TCG. Magic and Yu-Gi-Oh players alike are made fun of, but no one I know cares. Everyone enjoys their own things and Yu-Gi-Oh happens to be ours. Most people just do it to tease you but they don't really care anyway. And onto the subject of ripping cards, I've ripped many in my time :toothy: Not necessarily good ones, but I do it. No one cares. If the value of Yu-Gi-Oh goes down and I'm tired of the game in a few years, then I'll probably rip all of my good cards up and throw them away. Either that or burn them.
9. Yes, I'm aware of that, I was just going to PM him. Thanks for looking out though :)
10. No, but there is a program. It's called Yu-Gi-Oh Virtual Desktop and you can make your own deck on the computer (any cards in English, doubles are allowed), and type in the other person's IP to duel them. But you have to arrange it with someone and get their IP. I'll try to find a link where you can download it.
11. I don't think I have many things that have happened to me like that, but I got a Time Wizard in Magic Ruler, although it's supposed to come from Metal Raiders.
12. Another basic thing that I thought was important was the idea of sacrificing. Basically, any monster that is strong, like the Summoned Skull or the Blue Eyes White Dragon, will require tribute to bring onto the field. Any monsters level 4 and under you can just play on the field, but monsters of level 5-6 must have one monster sacrificed to bring them out (like the Summoned Skull). Any monsters level 7 or 8 must have 2 monsters on the field to sacrifice. You must also remember that each monster you sacrifice must have been on the field for at least a turn. That's where magic and trap cards come in, since you can't always keep those monsters alive, there is a humongous variety of magics and traps you can use to protect your monsters. The theme, as Hypershadow mentioned is also very important. If you just have random wind, earth, fire, dark, or light cards inserted into your deck, it's not very good. It is best to choose one of those or to make a deck revolving around a certain magic/trap or a monster, like Exodia. Many people choose Dark cards, thanks to the many magic cards that can be applied to them.
13. It is good news that Pegasus will have toon cards because I've come across Toon World and there will be a higher demand for it (of course, that's if Pegasus doesn't have it). I could also make a Toon Deck myself, but I prefer Gravity Bind.
14. Yes, this is the correct forum. People like that disgust me. Beating such a small being, and your own child at that, because he vomited? That mother should go to jail and live in torment for the rest of her life, because her actions were horrible. Anyone who could do such a thing and ignore their child's illness until he died should be put in jail for an extremely long time, personally, I think she should be put in for the rest of her life. It is really sad to see such poor actions from a person. It is even more sad that the child died.
15. I very seldom play with no tributes, and with my current deck, I probably won't for a while :p Anyway, my friends and I usually play 2 on 2, or sometimes an all out brawl, just attacking whatever you can. I haven't played one of these with my Gravity Bind deck, but I'm sure that I would be a lot better than I used to be in these kinds of duels.

17. I have that card, but I don't really see what I need it for. I mean, it's nice to have more monsters on the field, but is it really that important?
18. Yes, I have thought about that before and I would. Either that, or I could just go insane and wait for the meteor to crash into Earth and let myself burn up going through the atmosphere, thinking about the endless people I have just sent to their death.
19. Thanks for the help, and I'll look for some of those cards you mentioned. Anyway, here is my deck at the moment: Tribute Monsters: Sanga of the Thunder Suijin Kazejin Summoned Skull Level 4- monsters La Jinn x2 Wall of Illusion x2 Giant Soldier of Stone x2 Bubonic Vermin x2 Rainbow Flower x2 Dragon Zombie x2 Spear Cretin x2 Man-Eater Bug Mystic Lamp Time Wizard Magician of Faith Spirit of the Harp Harpie's Brother Hane-Hane Magics Malevolent Nuzzler x2 Fissure x2 Share the Pain x2 Giant Trunade Remove Trap Rush Recklessly Change of Heart De-Spell Shield & Sword Dark Hole Soul Exchange Curse of Fiend Horn of the Unicorn Monster Reborn Traps Gravity Bind x2 Trap Hole x2 Shift Enchanted Javelin Michizure Infinite Dismissal Waboku I added the Time Wizard because it's below 4 stars and it's not bad for monster removal.
20. I agree that the Japanese names usually do sound better, especially in the case of the God cards. I also think that sacrafice is much better than tribute, and that's the word my friends and I use.
21. Took me about 30 times to beat him thanks to it being my first RPG and I just plain suck anyway. It's been so long that I can't remember much, but keep Lulu and Auron in the lineup. To beat him, what I did, was use one aeon's overdrive on Anima and loaded it up to the overdrive again, calling it back. Then on Yuna's next turn, bring out a new aeon and sacrifice it and maybe another aeon to kill anima. If you're lucky, you can have Auron or someone deliver the finishing blow and you'll be able to switch Yuna out. Now, on someone else's turn, if they're alive, bring Yuna out and use the first aeon's overdrive, easily killing Seymour. You just have to keep everyone alive from his multi-magic attacks to do this.
22. I agree with everything Circeus just said and one more thing. Try as hard as possible to find better tribute monsters. Doma, Anatsu and Gaia are useless to me. I know it's hard to get your hands on better cards, like Sword Hunter and the Gate Guardian pieces (which I use), but keep searching. Otherwise, it's a good start. Anyway, the reason I came into this thread, was to get help, once again. I have recently acquired three gravity binds. I put them in my deck, but didn't have my extras with me the night before the tournament to have my deck revolve around gravity bind. I still did good, nonetheless, thanks to my Giant Trunade and Giant Soldier of Stones/Magician of Faith and a few other low level effect cards in my deck. Now, I have many cards at home that I can add to my deck, such as Dragon Zombie, and I'm ordering 2 Hyabusa Knights (an essential), but I'm wondering whether I should put low-level monsters like Queen's Double and Mystic Lamp that can attack life-points directly. Because, although they most likely won't be able to attack, they can still get strong monsters on the field that my low-levels won't be able to get past. That's also why I put many power-up cards in my deck *now realizes that he needs Ring of Magnetism* I also need to know how many 4-stars I should have and how many level 3 and lower cards I should have. I already have 3 tribute monsters in my deck, and those are the Gate Guardian pieces, and I'll hopefully get the Gate Guardian soon. I might add a Summoned Skull, just in case, but I just need to know the ratio of how many level 3 and lower monsters and how many 4 stars, and if I should add the Direct Damage monsters.
23. I would imagine that he would make another, seeing how they
left such a huge cliff hanger at the end of MGS2, what with the Patriots being men who died so long ago. They wouldn't just leave it at that, would they?
As for the light sensor idea, I think that's brilliant, although people wouldn't be able to see the game as well, thanks to the sun. I would just deal with the hardness level and stay in the dark :p
24.
Originally posted by Circéus Shield and sword is a card that needs it's own deck. Unless you can make a deck with mostly monster with 2000+ def, don't add it.
That's exactly what I've done. Nearly every single monster 4 stars and lower are 2000 defense monsters (the others are just La Jinn's). I also added the 3 gate-guardian pieces (finally got hold of Kazejin, but not the GG himself) and Gravity Bind, which really seems to help. Shield and Sword is good in there too, but only if you have a Waboku or Enchanted Javelin on the field because in their turn you die easily. I also use my shield and sword when I have Giant Soldier of Stone and Gravity Bind on the field, that seems to work well.
25. There's nothing wrong with being bi-sexual. I'm not bi-sexual, but I have no problem with people you are. I'll be repeating many people, but it's not a big deal. I would have never guessed, but you're still the same person :)
