I'm sure I'm about to be raped though, as I'm facing the mighty Kaisuke :p After you most likely kill me (and I'm not just doing the "i R t3h UGLEH!!!!!!1111one" thing, it's a fact, because I've seen his work), you should face Hittokiri Zero, as he is a much better artist than I. A little info about my piece: I made it in half an hour. I'm not going to say that I rushed it and now it sucks because that's not true. All my pieces take this long because I don't put forth extra effort, which I honestly should. However, this is what I made and I'm happy with it. I didn't add the bevel/emboss until the end because 1) I haven't used it in ages 2) I thought it would make the text a little more interesting. The texture I could [i]seriously[/i] do without, but I closed photoshop and don't feel like opening it again. I know my first banner was insanely horrible, even though I used photoshop (I have no clue what you used). Eventually you'll learn how to create a background and everything will just sort of fall into place. [/color][/size]

I was just wondering if the range for submission could be widened to include things such as graphics or art unrelated to anime, such as my collages and charcoal pieces. I can understand if that's not an option, due to the fact that theOtaku and it's branches are anime related, but it could be a large addition to myOtaku. If you look at DeviantArt, you can see how they have flourished with things like this. They get nearly 20 submissions every 5 seconds. It would add a heavy burden to the server and I know Adam just lost a chunk of money adding more RAM to the server because of his two upcoming projects, but it's something that you could consider for future upgrades :) [b]E D I T:[/b] I know people are viewing the thread :p Please, share your opinions on the matter. She had arthritis in her hips and it had gotten so bad that the day before we put her down, she couldn't stand. It's a hard thing to do, but it's necessary. I mean, even I haven't heard of Nightwalker, but I'm not some kind of Otaku either, so I guess my opinion doesn't hold an argument. Perhaps mentally in-depth shows such as Series Experiments Lain (I know "Experiments Lain" is in there, but I have no clue about "Series" lol. I just through a random "S" word in there) or Hellsing could sustain their own forum, but it would almost inevitably collapse beneath itself as its predesessors (I'd use an online dictionary but my cable is bugging out) have. The reason Dragonball Z has held onto its popularity ranking in these forums for so long is its immense fanbase. I'm sure that if there were a Pokemon forum when that fad was about, that it would be heavily populated. But even if you examine the Dragonball forum, many of the topics are repeats or something of the sort. [/color][/size]

It took a [i]very[/i] long time to edit the stock. It was originally black and a blue-ish green or something. Like I said, quite a bit of airbrushing and editing (the lips still bother me). The text in the center is from an AFI song that I thought fit, especially since the girl in the stock is crying.
