In my house I have a room that faces the pool, and there are a lot of windows. I shut the "japanese"-ish style blinds and sit on the rug and watch the sun "patterns" bounce on the ceiling. I like it there. We keep our parrots in there, and while I'm in my own little world, and the birds are chirping and singing. It's really nice. ^^ Me and my friend, Breanna used to sit her in little closet and shut the door and sit in the dark, until we pull out thousands of "glow in the dark" plastic stars. And we would stick them all in the closet, and lie in there and stare at the stars. It was like being in a galaxy. ^^;; Very nice. [SIZE=1][COLOR=dodgerblue]Well I have to deal with these situations everyday, being as my family takes in abandoned baby animals day after day and re introduce them into the wild. Well, you could've of done one of lots of things. You say that when you touch it, the mother might abandon it, well thats true, if you were ready, you could've picked up the bird and raised it yourself. Or, if you're weren't ready for the responsability, you could've stood near the bird and gently move it off the road with your foot and usually the bird would move by itself. (I've done this many times, it works) There are many other answers, but sadly it is too late. Too bad that bird couldn't have lived a long life. :( -KittyLynn.
