1.
In any case, it?s just a movie. I doubt anyone will see it and then go join some random anti-Semitic hate group.
I dunno, you put a movie out about when Matthew Sheperd was murdered and all sorts of religious and bigotted people come out the woodworks to "protest" it. You never know how people will react now-a-days.... no one thinks with their brain anymore, they all think with what they think they SHOULD feel based on either religion or some other ridiulous moral(s) they may or may not have..... 'cause they are all complete morons.
 2. Odd, we took our AP tests for free.... lol.... yet we pay a bajillion dollars for a dance... I don't get it.
 3. it was never there in V6 though... I thought the list tag was there to indent to create a list.... kinda like blockquote does in HTML... I'm really picky about this for some reason... I don't want the image clase to the sides but I don't want it all the way in the middle either, and it creates the desired amount of space inbetween the top and bottom of the picture from the other lines.... I want it right where it is... where it has been... without that dot that was never there before. Unless theres a code in VB that can essentially put spaces in like   does in HTML.
 4. In my sig, when I use the list tag, it puts a dot in front of my image (on the lower left), you can see it below. I tested out the center tags and no tags at all and the dot goes away so i know it's the list tag which is creating this. Perhaps you can help me get rid of this or tell me what it is... thanks.
 5. I wanna go see it just because it's supposed to be really blunt and shocking and I just like it when religious people get upset OVER AN F-ING MOVIE! Get a life.
 6. Why would anyone spend such an enourmous amount of money on a crappy and often overexagerated DANCE is beyond me. If you want to get laid that bad, just go do it.
 7. Do any of you get tired of arguing the same nonsense over and over again. Look, whether or not people agree with it or it's against religion or whatever BS you can pull from out your arse, it the meaning behind our country as a free nation.... the fact, I, as a gay man cannot gain the same rights as lets say... Boba, a straight man, can in marriage makes this not a free country... By denying certain people certain rights that other people have is not freedom. It goes against the whole meaning of America... ofcourse, since anyone who opposes gay marriage is so stuck up in religion and this sanctity of marriage BS, they don't see that. How many times must i tell you that this isn't about religion, this is about RIGHTS of the people. Please pull your head out of your arse and start saying anything else.
 8. Sorry, couldn't tell you what a 'signiture' is....
 9. Nu-Metal, Goth-Metal, whatever. It's all stupid meaningless genre names that dab too much into what is ROCK music period. Get a life if you're arguing over this crap. If you like it, listen, if not don't listen to crap like SOAD, like me.
 10. Rap only sounds good in my car when two 12's are blowing the bass way out of proportion so much you can't hear the annoying lyrics. However, I am become a bigger and bigger fan of Outkast, and not particularly for their music (although some of it is very good) but for their image and what they do as a unique group who goes beyond the limits. I like Nelly too because he's got a good rap voice. It's very energetic and different. And Snoop Dogg, just because he's laid back in his voice and lyrics, but funny as hell when he's not rapping.
 11.
Originally posted by Manic One major plus I heard about is how 50 Cent didn't get any awards. That's always good. Personally, I wouldn't want him to win Bingo or a raffle contest.
Yeah but he was such a jackass he walked up on stage when Evanescence won best new artist cause he though he should have won. What kind of jackass does that? I lost alot of respect for him when he did that. He needs to accept he lost, sit down and shut up. He isn't that good, maybe he just doesn't realize that.
 12. How are they gonna shoot themselves if the mp3 player is in place of the ammunition? I think they idea here is to stop gun usage by replacing bullets with music essentially. I think it's a good idea, but it won't work. Any idea to stop gun usage is a good idea. Using guns is just a stupid and bad idea, therefor anyway to stop it is a good idea.
 13.
Originally posted by Semjaza Azazel That's an odd stance considering I'm sure you talk about random shows and/or games with other people. Someone talking about Freinds or another show the next day that you don't like is somehow different? People talk about TV shows, it's nothing new.
Well I think they meanmore on the lines of obession. Kinda like people who watch soap operas.... they don't even know the actors name, just the character they play. They act like it's real life almost, at least thats the impression I get from the Friends viewers.... Seinfeld viewers aren't like that though, Seinfeld just isn't funny. There's no reason to laugh at some of the poorly written jokes on that show.
 14. Wow, both of these shows are horrible. I can't stand to watch either. Seinfeld is just plain stupid. He is stupid as a comedian and his show was stupid becuase it was stupid comedy. There is a reason why none of the cast members could make it with their own show, because they all suck... with the exception of Jason Alexander because Duck-Man is way cool. Friends... Friends is a show full of white people and bad acting... not to mention the plot sucks. How long can you go before the show turns out to be this huge orgy. Horrible writting, glad it's ending. They may have their funny moment,s but overall I think both shows are horribly overrated and I honestly don't find them that funny.
 15.
Originally posted by Semjaza Azazel Anything Evanescence might have have put out before wouldn't have counted towards this stuff. In the mind of the Grammys, you aren't considered new until you break out onto a major label. They didn't until Fallen was released. I don't think they really had anything out other than demo-ish material previous to that anyway. There are a few things I personally find absolutely ridiculous. Best Female Rock Vocal Performance went to Pink for Trouble. Since when is she even put in the rock category? Let alone something that's apparently better than every other rock single out there by a female?
Evanescence had a full length album, Origin, released under Big Wig Enterprises 3 years prior to Fallen. It wasn't so much demo-ish as it was an indies album. However Origin had alot of success over in Europe. Which is probably how they were noticed and therefor how they got a place on the Daredevil soundtrack. Yeah I was gonna mention the Pink thing but I was too tired to type it all out. And I didn't hear that particular song so it could have been rock in sound so I didn't bother with it.

 17.
Originally posted by wrist cutter Speaking of whom, I'll trade you READY STEADY GO (CD quality) for that megamix we spoke of earlier...
Well i would have given you the mega-mix for free, but since you insist.... Get online sometime, just not tonight (Monday) I won't be home till 1:30am... unless you're upi that late...
I think Gackt should do that, lol... He'd save his fame that way maybe.
No, I'm pretty sure Gackt's gonna keep his fame for a long time.
 18. I personally didn't watch the Grammy's, I never do, but I have seen a list of winners. And quite frankly I'm jugely disappointed. People winning Grammy's who shouldn't be making music period... Beyonce comes away with 5 Grammys: Best R&B Song: Crazy in Love Best Rap/Sung Collaboration: Crazy in Love (feat. Jay Z) Best Female R&B Preformance: Crazy in Love Best R&B Preformance by a Duo or Group: The Closer I Get To You (Beyonce and Luther Vandross) Best Contemporary R&B Album: Dangerously In Love Crazy is Love is quite possibly one of the worst songs I've ever heard, if not one of the most overplayed songs, which is probably why it won so much crap. I never heard the duo she did with Luther Vandross but I'm not a fan of him anyway... Anyway, she didn't deserve to win 5 grammy's. She's a good singer, but she's over rated. Myabe it's personal prefrence, or maybe it's the fact she actually isn't that good, but it's deffinantly a huge disappointment she could walk away with this many grammy's Eminem had one Grammy win with Lose Yourself.... how does he get a Grammy for a song that came out in 2002? Are we jumping back years cause the popular music here just can't seem to cut it? Record of the Year went to Coldplay, Album of the year went to Outkast... can someone tell me what the hell the difference between the usage of the words Album and Record? Evanescence wins for Best New Artist. Are they really that new? They already had an album out before their most recent, from which most of the songs on their first were on their second (however remade) Best metal Preformance went to Metallica for St. Anger. How? This is quite possibly one of the worst rock albums I've heard, not to mention the worst by Metallica. The only possitives out of th Grammy's were Outkast, whom I think are unique and original, Coldplay and the White Stripes. Everything else was boring and predictable. So what did you think of the 2003, yet we play it in 2004, Grammy Awards?
 19. Sex and a cigarrette seems to work for alot of people....
 20.
Originally posted by Lynx But does that not make you also a bigot to object to my religious views as a Roman Catholic.
I don't ever recall objecting to your Roman Catholic belief.
That's both childish and saddening to come from a Moderator. You should care since your meant to act in a proper manner on these boards.
It's also childish and saddening to object to something thats doesn't effect the way you live. Regardless of religious beliefs, think of human rights for once instead of blinding yourself with your so called faith in God. Wrist cutter and I both have faith in God, but I don't let that faith blind me from reality and neither does wrist cutter. (I don't mean to bring you up in themiddle of my argument Jimmy) Maybe you should look at now and not 2,000 years ago...
I would, and I would advise you against insulting the Pope or I think you may find yourself in a lot of hot water. I said that I didn't object to people personal freedom as long as it doesn't conflict with my religious views and I say that again since the core of Catholicism is peace and love for your fellow man.
Thats nice, I hope he tells all of you to jump off a bridge, it'd be interesting to see how many of you actually do it. You act like he's God.... thats a damn shame.
Gay people can obtain the same rights and freedoms that straight married people have by filling out a few forms. You already have the same rights and freedoms as straight people, spelled out in the laws of the United States. I?m not denying you the right to marry TN. I?ve already said that I personally oppose gay marriage, but think that gay marriage should be legal under US law. Under the laws of the United States, you should be allowed to marry whomever you wish. I?m merely stating my opinions on gay marriage. That?s all.
No we can't. We have certain rights as straight people, as voting and whatnot, but thats not the argument here. We can't legally marry, therefor we do not have the same rights as you. Filling out a few forms does not give us the same rights as you. In the state of Florida, I as a gay man, cannot adopt a child. Can you believe this BS. Becuase of my sexual orientation, I cannot adopt a child if i felt the need to. THE FREEDOMS ARE UNBEARABLE!
 21.
Originally posted by cloricus Also TN; what is the difference between you saying "YOU?RE A BIGOT!!!" and a highly religious person saying "IT'S JUST UNNATURAL!!!" since they were brought up with this belief and you have acquired your opinion. Think about that, it?s your opinion which is in your head verus another person who has a moral value which is in their head. What and who says you are right? (I would like to know your answer too that. Could be enlightening.)
I didn't bring up religion for a reason, and I'd rather stay away from it. I understand the opposition via religion that exists, however some of the opposition in this thread was not for religious meaning, it was because of the "deffiniton" of the word marriage. Which is ridiculous. A bigot is a set word. It has a meaning, a set meaning. Anyone who is intolerant of those who differ is a bigot. It says it right there in dictionary. Unnatural... well the word exists in the dictionary but none of the deffinitions describe myself as a gay man. It is not against my nature to be gay. It is not against natural law for me to be gay. By saying it's unnatural, that would insinuate, that either I had to work against a natural feeling (which I assume is toward women) to be attracted to men... which simply never happened to me. I was never attracted to women that way, always to men since I can remember. Unnatural is a word that can be used based on your view of someone or something when dealing with non-set subjects like homosexuality. Because straight people don't know what its like to be gay, they cannot honestly say it's unnatural cause they don't know what it feels like to be gay or to feel any different than "natural"... it's like if I said being straight was unnatural... you would think I was the most moronic person in the world if i said that.... I don't understand what it's like to be straight so how can I honestly say it's unnatural to be straight? I can't, and neither can any straight person about any gay person.
This not something I?d expect to hear from a moderator.
Think I care? When it come to STUPID ideas, there's nothing more I can do but completely insult your lack of intelligence.
Some people who oppose gay marriage are bigots, there?s nothing you can do about that. Others do so for religious reasons. Can you honestly tell me you?d go call a devout Catholic a bigot because he or she follows the doctrine set down by the Pope?
**** the pope. If the pope told you to jump off a bridge would you do it? Yeah... thats what I thought. Theres a difference between being "against" gay marriage for religious purposes and just being plain against it. By completely ruling out marriages ina whole you're a bigot. If you rule out marriages in a catholic church for religious reasons, well thats something different. Some of you need to grow up and look at the times. Marriage isn't the same as it used to. Over half the people who get married get divorced, thats against religion, so why don't we make divorce illegal then? If you want to use religion to stop gay people from getting married, then you should use religion to stop straight people from getting divorced. Ofcourse that won't happen... why you ask? Because people are bigots. Look, i can understand the opposition to gay marriage in a traditional religious act. We don't want that anyway, and no church in their right mind, unless it's Unitarian, is gonna marry any of us anyway. We don't want to get married for religious reasons, that not what this fight for marriage is about... it's about having the same RIGHTS and FREEDOMS as straight married couples.... if that means calling it civil unions and giving us the same rights and freedoms, then so be it... if that means calling it marriages and having the same rights and freedoms then so be it... we don't care which one it is as long as we can be treated in the same respect through the law and our government. I just want to be able to propose to my boyfriend, get married or joined or whatever, and call him my husband when the time comes. By denying me that, well, thats bigottry, no matter what way you look at it.
 22. Blah blah blah, marriage is an institution between man and woman, blah blah blah. Grow up losers. Anyone who opposed gay marriage is a BIGOT. You're all just bigots and afraid to say it. The president is a bigot. You are a bigot and since you can't seem to see it, I'll tell you it. In no way does e getting married to another man effect your life. Nor does it effect your future life or the future between straight people getting married. You're not changing anything about the basics of marriage, you're adding more to it. If I have an engine and a body I have the basics to a car, if I add a body kit or turbos to this engine or body, it doesn't change the complete meanng of my car, it is just simply adding to it. Adding men-men and women-women unions to the meaning of marriage in no way effects the meaning of marriage. It won't effect straight people from getting married either. What about this simple idea can you morons not get through your thick bigotted heads? Your argument is useless and worthless. You mise well just come out and say you don't like gay people and say you're a bigot cause thats what you really are. No use in hiding behind some poorly thought out ridiculous ideas,
 23.
Originally posted by lava lamp As for this, boo hoo. Which singers have I talked about that no one else here has heard of? All of the artists I mentioned are mainstream artists as far as overseas fandom goes. Yes, I am certainly trying to imply I'm better than other people because I prefer to write an artist's name correctly. You've got my number. Even if I didn't write their names properly, there would still only be two people that understand. What can I do?
Ayumi Hamasaki, Hamasaki Ayumi and ?_?ä?Ý?Í?Ü?³?« are the same person, the same correct name, the same correct spelling. Just two of them are understood by the majority of overseas fans.
I guess my next post should be on the topic of "Ayunami Hamasuki" so I can get the audience [which I ranted about] for my posts.... Read, or shut up.
No, I didn't say be a moron, I said talk about something the people here know about. Read, or shut up. Anyway, how about that group Favorite Blue....
 24.
Originally posted by lava lamp Bottom line is: I obviously care more about music than you do.
Yes, because you're so intelligent that you obviously know exactly what I am thinking and feeling.
By the way, just because you're given a title doesn't mean you're more intelligent than anyone else. You're most definitely a prime example of this amazing opposite.
In case you didn't read any of my posts, I never firstly stated I was a mod, someone else did, nor did I make any reference to that fact until YOU did. I never used my title as mod to insiuate I have more intelligence than you, I just assume as much based on how you were arguing about something you can't control. Anyway (which is I guess the way you end an argument judging by your post) why do you keep posting baout bands/singer that you know no one else here has heard of? Are you trying to imply you are better than the other people cause you know more about Japanese music than they do? Or that you know how to write someone's name in kanji or hiragana? It doesn't help the discussion when theres only 2 people that even remotely understand what you're talking about, which is probably why the majority of your posts including these elements has been completely ignored. If you're going to add anything to the topic, talk about what other people can relate to instead of something that maybe Sad Clown or wrist cutter might know, cause talking about something no one knows about is like talking to a wall. You're not helping anyone or yourself. Anyway, again, how bout that group PENCILLIN, they seem like a big hit..................
 25.
Originally posted by AzureWolf However, I wouldn't call it the right direction...
Yes, because the right direction includes straight white men ruling the world.... Oh wait, they already do.... God help us if anything ever changes with our people, that would be SOOOO HORRIBLE. Cause you know, it effects your miserable life so much...
