Um.... He can't make you study anything... He doesn't sign you up for college courses... he doesn't pick your major... He can't MAKE you do anything. And even if he disowns you, which wouldn't matter much anyway after a year when you're 18, it doesn't seem so bad since you feel so much dislike for him. If he loved you enough to fight for your custody, then he should respect what you want to be and not try to raise you to become what he obviously has failed in his own life. People like that are pathetic, and I'm not afriad to say it, but if thats what he's going to do, then he's pathetic... a bad father, someone who shouldn't even have custody of you to begin with. It's your life, do what you want to do and don't worry about what people think of it. If your father doesn't support you, don't support him... If you really want to be a video game designer, be one... whats he going to do about it? Take you to court and make you change your profession? lol Doesn't quite work that way. Your life, not his, maybe he's having a hard time understanding that.
Originally posted by Semjaza Azazel Anyway, we saw Final Destination in the theater. She actually looked pretty nice that day. I remember her having on this cute pink, fuzzy sweater that suited her well... at least back when I didn't know she was insane. Other than that, I don't remember. The movie was lame, but the date was decent.
What what what? It had cutey Devon Sawa in it!? You should be greatful you saw such a hot guy for so long! lol. My first date.... with a girl was to see Charlie's Angels.... um yeah.... it was with her and her sister and her sister's boyfriend and her sister's friend and her sister's friend's boyfriend.... so yeah... I didn't like that.... the movie was ok. She was a nice girl. Though yeah... heh, not much my type, if you know what I mean. First date with a guy.... Went to AppleBees for dinner.... yeah.... bad date. Nice guy, good food, nice talk, bad date. So here's some kickers.... do a movie and dinner for the first date. If you really want to impress her, or him, whatever, buy them their ticket to the movie. Or let them pick... or yeah.... I dunno... the whole women thing is confusing, which is why I don't date them. lol. Ask some straight person about that.

Art Acrylic painting for my art final
Transtic Nerve replied to klinanime1's topic in Creative Works
I despise Acrylics...... Use oils, they are SOOOOO much better. Anyway, I am not sure how this painting is showing perspective, except in that little building behind the dragon.... unless it's not linear perspective you're talkin about. Anyway, it's not bad at all, but I personally don't like the entire left side of the painting. I dunno, I just think it would be better if you chopped it in half and just turned in the right side of the painting. It does balance out though, because on one side you have all warm colors, on the other you have all cool colors. You use space well, and color even better, but, I'm not a fond of that green on the shirt. It doesn't go with anything. It's the only cool color on that side of painting. My eye tends to be drawn to the lower left side of the painting. In fact everytime I look at it I end up looking there right away. That kinda bothers me since i'm not to fond of that part of the painting anyway.... Um yeah.... Its a good work. I would like it if I did it, ofcourse I'm the type to leave a work in the same type of colors, but yeah.... not bad, not bad. -
Originally posted by Sweet Pie Have you ever wonder why, visual rock can no longer maintain their popularity like in the '80s?
Because it's a fad, and fads eventually fade. Visual rock was famous in the 80s here, and in Japan, it was and still is only popular in the indies scene. When bands go mainstream, they lose that look. Laruku, Luna Sea, Gackt, Penicillin, Dir en grey to some extent, just to name a few. Visual rock is only really popular amung a set number of people, while the majority like a more profession and clean look.... like pop groups, which is why they are insanely popular in Japan and America. Visual Kei only has a big backing here [America] because it's "different"... and thats cool, apparently, when it comes to music. Oh and don't search "Camui Gackt" cause you won't find anything... just search Gackt. I don't think anyone calls him Camui Gackt anymore....

I made this banner from the new movie coming out later this year called, obviously, The Day After Tomorrow. It's not much that i did, but I think it looks good with what i did add, and the picture I used. Anyway yeah...

I'm sure in that time a person can at least attempt to sing well, and if not, they certainly can have their voice altered electronically (ie: Britney Spears)
As for those who do not like this band, do not criticize those who do. I could go on and on about the bands I don't like and make others mad, such as icp fans, boy band fans, and NIN fans. I think unless by listening to this music, we will somehow bring harm to you, shut your trap.
I'll critisize you all I want. Just as you have just critisized me, although you probably were so caught up in yourself you didn't realize that. Its your choice not to go on about how much you don't like those groups you mentioned, but thats your choice... and I feel so bad for people that listen to SOAcl, I have to say something. I cannot honestly figure out why ANYONE in their right mind could like the crap they call "music" and then spend money to listen to it! It makes me cry to see so many people who truely don't understand what good music is... :crying: ANd it does bring me harm, cause if you listen to it and my friends listen to it, I have to hear it from them and you, and that just makes me really sick. That certainly cannot be healthy.

Rabid internet fans of ANY group/singer usually don't know anything about a person other than what they wear/how they look and the music they play. Maybe a little brief history on them, but not much. Only the people who can take the time to know about a person will know anything about their lives other than what they portray in their looks and music.

Don't forget that Ayumi is really good and Kinki Kids just plain suck, although I like their TV show :)

Depends on what you want to go to college for. Football, Opportunity, Academics. Hell you don't even have to pick any of those schools. I only know more of Florida State than any of the other ones simply cause I live in Florida. Florida State is a big football college, the opportunity in football is big, but being a football player at FSU will drop back on your academics. You odn't hear many people bloating of their academic achievements at FSU, it's usually some sort of sport. Florida on the other hand is big in sports, several, nott just football and it has alot of good academic programs, especially medical ones. I personally go to UCF, not too big on sports even though Dante Cullpepper went here, but big enough. You could go to any school, if you're as good as you say you are, you won't have a problem. But it all depends on what you're willing to do and what you want to do. I however, suggectyou pick quick or they just might change their minds. And believe me, colleges have no problem changing their minds.

Too many people like Gackt.... albeit his music is very good, I don't own every album of his for no reason, but I must admit the obsession over him is alot now-a-days.... I've dropped my obsession of him in the recent months... I don't keep up with many Japanese artists anymore, just the ones I really enjoy... Gackt, Dir en grey, and move for the most part (I have every album released by all 3 artists/groups, it's more a collecting thing than anything)... I do try to keep track of Porno Graffitti, PENICILLIN, L'Arc~en~Ciel, and globe, but they aren't top priorities. I still have kept all my Japanese music over the... 4 years I've been listening to it. And I still listen to them on a pretty regular basis, depending on me mood of the day. But my complete interest in ALL J-Music has faded, as with much other music, it's simply too much to keep track of. Plus Wrist Cutter keeps me informed on anything important. So Yay for him! So hi to HAKUEI! I I I I V

There's a limit to what should and shouldn't be done. Like my boyfriend and I were at SeaWorld yesterday, and we cuddled up watching the Shamu show and held hands and even kissed a few times, but we would never make out in a public place. Or grope each other, or anything like that. It's rude to do that, cause not only do you embarass yourselves, you make other people uncomfortable. I don't like it when people make out in front of me, I'm not gonna do it in front of everyone else

Is your son a murderer? Does he.... Watch action movies? Have a pet cat? Make fun of any siblings? Always want to see his grandfather? Likes to watch fireworks? Does not agree with everything you say? Likes rollercoasters? If so, your son is a murderous pig and should be sent away. This is ridiculous.

Looks like just as much crap as the first one, full of bad acting yet again. Even the preview of Doc Oc was disappointing not only in the way he looked but the acting he gave, or attempted to give... While I'm sure the plot will be somewhat interesting, I'm sure the acting will be below par as it was int he last one... yet for some reason it'll make tons and tons of money.

I fell asleep during the movie.... I did... I honestly fell asleep during this garbage....

I dunno what you're all talking about... Toriyama did alot of work on GT. He was lead character designer on the series. GT may have not been written by Toriyama, but it definantly wasn't stopped by him. GT in itself was only supposed to be 40 or so episodes, but due to the release of the video game DragonBall: Final Bout, the series was prolonged to the 64 or whatever episodes now. I didn't think the series was that bad... if you're a DB fan, you'll like GT, no matter what or who wrote it.

MA KO's Ban on Gay marriages
Originally posted by Drix D'Zanth Firstly, I?ll take note that you compared homosexuality to murder. Fair enough.
I was actually comparing murder to a hatred of an act.... just so happened to be homosexuality... I could have used any example instead of murder, just so happened that was the easiest one to use.
I don?t think you realize what you are asking. What exactly do you want? To be recognized as married? The same goes both ways. You can share property, you can share benefits, hospitalization costs, your will , etc. You can dictate that as you please through power of attorney. Just like any married couple. The only difference is health insurance. Why aren?t you advocating THAT instead of advocating MARRIAGE? By bringing your personal life choices, which I understand as abhorrent through a moral, biological, and personal standpoint into the government; you chose to bring it into the public and demand it?s acceptance through legality. Fine, I?ll not oppose it through Religion. I?ll take a biological stance. I oppose it through science. Overall, I don?t think it?s right. So I?ll advocate against it. Welcome to Democracy.
I'm not asking you to let u be married... I'm asking you, as in the people of your religion and yourself, to shut up at religion and gays. I'm asking you to stop looking at it in a religious view and look at it in a human rights view. And if you think marriage is a religious ceremony, which it hardly is anymore (you can go to Vegas and see my point) then fine. I can respect that, cause I see your point. But that doesn't stop you from giving me the same rights as you do. Unless I'm legally binded to my parter, however it may be, through marriage or not, then I cannot get these rights.... If straight people can get these rights through the act of marriage, i believe gay people should have a similar, if not the same way, of achieving the same rights as straight people. Marriage, civil unions, whatever. I want it to be recognized that two PEOPLE, I cannot stress that word enough, can love each other, gay or straight... by denying any sort of union between two people, you are essentially denying that that love can exist. We just want to have the same rights as you. Thats all I'm asking. And I personally don't want to spend a million dollars trying to get those rights. I want them through a union with my partner, not a union with my lawyer.
Did you bother reading my post? I didn?t tell you to be Christian. I didn?t make you read that. I didn?t make you react to that. You are telling me to accept same-sex marriage as acceptable. I don?t. So quit wasting your time? I think not. This is what debate?s all about.
Yeah i read your post... when i said this I wasn't responding to your post, i was making a comment directly to you. I was telling you to shut up about religion. It isn't about religion, yet you continue to blabber what i see as nonsense. It may be to you, but this isn't about you. This is about us. And quite frankly, it's not your life, it's our life, so but the ***** out. Nothing in gay unions has anything to do with straight people. Democracy this is, indeed, but your life it is not. Therefor, I don't believe you have any reational stance in this manner what-so-ever. I cannot stop you from speaking, I'm just trying to say that you're wasting your time, because you have nothing to do with the matter at hand, you are a simple by stander who says his few words of disagreement. Those type of people are soon forgotten as the world revolves around them. PS: I'm glad you were offended by what I said, cause I'm been absolutely offended by everything you typed so far. It's only fair. Welcome to Democracy.
-
Originally posted by Drix D'Zanth It's not so much about what the practice involves, Cheebs, that Justin and Dan are probably trying to contrast, but it's morality. How can you define bestiality as morally wrong if you say same sex marriages are right? The fact is, you cannot. Love and sex rarely accomodate eachother, and it's evident in bestiality that some animals DO and WILL have sex with humans. They obviously want it, humans want it, the human loves the animal; so it should be right, no? The point they are making is that both of them are unnatural, and morally wrong. It's a difference in opinions. We found ours on an absolute truth: religion.
No offense but thats the stupidest thing I've ever heard. I would have thought someone as smart as you would never make a completely idiotic comment like that. I sure hope you can read over that and see how completely moronic that makes you sound. Morals.... morals are bullsh*t, your morals are, my morals are.... morals are a personal thing.... therefor because you think it's morally wrong, doesn't mean it is to everyone else. Just to you. Therefor you cannot generalize morals because they can't be. It's idiotic to think you can generalize morals to EVERYONE, when it's obvious they are strictly a personal thing. By generalizing them, you make youself sound like a stuck up idiotic prejudicial loser... which I know you aren't but with comments like that, you certainly make me think you are.
Nono, don't hate gay people. I don't. I just hate the act. I don't hate the liar, i hate the lie. To be honest, I love most people. It would be ideolistic for me to claim I love everyone, but when emulating the actions of christ (to be a christian) you must love every man, even the man that strikes against you. You can hate the strike, without hating the person.
It's still prejudice. Pride and prejudice my friend.... you're absolutely FULL of it. If you don't like gay people, which is pretty obvious you do, and don't BS me with that "I love everyone" crap, cause you don't... if you hate the act, you hate the person cause the person does the act. If I murdered your mother and sister or brother or whatever.... would you sit there and say "I love you Chris, but I hate what you did"?... lol no... you'd hate me for what i did, and you hate gay people for what they do, don't try to hide behind your little book and make excuses for hate, cause there is no excuse for hate.
My heart goes out to anyone who doesn't know God. Not just because they are choosing a path to an eternity in hell... but because they are chosing an eternity without the greatest relationship anyone could possibly comprehend.
My heart goes out to you too cause you have to hate so many things based on a religion of love.
As for my opinion on gay marriage.. i'm against it. Marriage is a religious practice, and homosexuality is contradictory to the religion. Why exactly would homosexuals want to utiilize an event that is directly contradictory to their own lifestlye (in sex, that is)? I don't think the gov't should go on a random crusade to try and abolish sodomy, because you can't. Whatever they want to do, they can, just keep it behind closed doors. Should it be protected as a marriage by law? No thanks, I'll elaborate later.
Perhaps you didn't read my post, which I will now quote for you. You probably didn't read the other one which talked about the difference between homosexuality and beastiality. The bottom line is this isn't about religious cermonies or religion period, it's about human rights.... I guess thats something that the bible doesn't advocate. It's not about religion... marriage is just a word to us. If you don't want to call it marriage, call it civil union... whatever, doesn't f-ing matter. We just want rights... the same HUMAN rights (not animal) as straight people have. I don't expect you to understand, you don't know what it's like not to have rights or be gay for that matter... you're a white male christian... your kind has practically ruled this world for the last 1500 years. Didn't God give us free will to do as we please? So why do you continue to ridicule us for doing what we please? I don't care if I'm going to hell... so shut up about it... I'm tired of you telling me what I should and should not be doing. You're wasting my time, and you're wasting your time. So just sit back, live your own little religious life and leave us the hell alone... is that so God damned hard? Live your own life, stop living mine. -

It's called being Hypocritcal, every religion is hypocritical, every person is hypocritical. You can't really help it, 'cause humans are naturaly stupid, therefor they don't know any better. You shouldn't blame religious people for their views... just ignore them cause they naturally don't know any better. Look, religion has nothing to do with gay marriage. It may have something to do with the opposition to gay marriage, but it's a worthless debate cause it has nothing to do with the side who wants gay marriage. You can ramble your religious nonesense all you want but it doesn't matter. I don't blame you, cause thats what that book says but... its a worthless argument, at least to me it is... we don't care about religion... well many of us don't, some do... but... thats up to them. The bottom line is this isn't about religious cermonies or religion period, it's about human rights.... I guess thats something that the bible doesn't advocate. -
Originally posted by Bloodsin I was following everyone's logic. "Two things love eachother, It's a free country, let them do it!" There's nothing in your DNA that makes you gay, it's a life style. So is Beastiality. You can't dismiss someone saying they're prejudice to gays while you're prejudice to Beastiality.
There has been studies that show gay people have a different genes than straight people. Something along the XXY or XYY gene, while straight people have genes that differ. This is not the case in all persons studied, but in the majority. Beastiality is NOT a life style. Beastilaity is having sex with animals. Usually done by people who can't get any from anyone else, gay or straight. Having sex with animals is done by people who need to get their rocks off... there is NO lifestyle involved. This is about HUMANS loving one another.... different genes again.... this is a world run by HUMANS, we tend to do things that pretain to HUMANS. Gay people are HUMANS.... You think there's a key word here?.... this whole debate has nothing to with any other species by HUMANS. I dunno why anyone, stupid or not, would bring up animal sex..... not that it makes a difference, just make you look like the idiot here, not us. Anyway, your sig is WAY to long. Please shorten it. -

The thing it still alive, regardless of whether or not people want to consider it an actual person or not.
No it's not alive.... if you were to pull a fetus out during hte first trimester, or have a miscarriage during the time, the fetus does NOT have a possibility of living. It's not even alive yet. Well again, I suppose it's alive in the sense it's a bunch of cells together, but as far as a human being, it's not alive... and if this whole debate is about murder of a human being, this is not such the case.... if you want to say you're kiling cells, well.... thats something done on a regular basis, plus they can kep the fetus's cells alive too. So... yeah.... -

I'm not gonn abring this into some flame war like the last abortion topic... but alot of you have no idea what happens during abortion.. Some keep saying Abortion is murder.... in some cases, yes... but LEGAL abortions (ie: within the first trimester) it is not murder, hence why it's legal. Any baby naturally born within the first trimester(essentially a miscarriage) would NOT be alive to begin with.... if you don't believe me, as my mum... she had two miscarriages before she had me. A fetus cannot live in the first trimester. It's essentially NOT alive. Therefor, abortions within the first trimester IS NOT murder. Now, illegal abortions, after the first trimester, thats a totally different story. Those are illegal, they can essentially be murder, depending how you think about it. If you base your whole reasoning ehind abortion based on "murder" or not, you should know your facts before you judge. The fetus essentially has a chance to eventually be a living being, but at the time, it is NOT a living being. It coud not survive had it been naturally born during the first trimester, therefor not a living being. You cannot kill something that isn't alive. I believe within the first trimester, a woman can do as she pleases. If she finds out she's pregnant and doesn't want it, then she should be able to get an abortion within the first trimester.... if she waits, well then thats her fault and she should live with it. And believe me, if you don't know your pregnant within the first 3 months, you have problems... -
