Although it may be hard to follow for some people.... it uses ALOT of Japanese terms and alot of Japanese history. Groups and names you wouldn't have heard of before, that really do come from Japanese history. Kenshin himself is said to be a real legend. Kenshin is about a samurai by the name of Himura Kenshin who was trained in Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu (sword fighting stance) under the great Hiko Seijuro. He fought on the side of the Ishin Shishi in a revolutionary war in Japan in the late 1800's I think. He was fighting against the Meiji government. He was a Hitokiri (man killer, aka Assassin) at age 15 for the Ishin Shishi. His nickname was Hitokiri Battousai. After many "problems (I won't give away anymore, you'll have to watch the series) and after the Ishin ShiShi successfully took over the Meiji government, he said to himself he would NEVER kill another person again, and instead use his sword to protect those he love. So he became a Rurouni (a wanderer, vagaban) and hence the series name Rurouni Kenshin. However throughout the series alot of past catches up to him in new challenges and he must protect his new found friends and family, Kaoru-dono, Sanosuke, Yahiko, Megumi, Misao, etc... The series is just great. It gives you an inside look in real sword techniques (some aren't, some are) and a slight look at Japanese history and what it may have been like. If you like swords, samurais, anything dealing with Japan, you would LOVE this series... like I did!

None of the characters in DragonBall really posses any "form" of martial arts, it's just simple style kicks and puches. Occationally you get stances here and there that give away some form but it's random 90% of the time. Alo of what they do relys on speed and sense. They can sense where an attack is coming from thus they know what to do.... that can be done in any martial arts and half of the time they are flying anyway.... Dragonball itself focused more on Martial Arts than does DragonBall Z... alot of different styles, real or fake, can be noticed throughout the Tenkaiichi Bodukai's

Brolli is considered the "legendary Super Saiya-jin" He had the power to go SS-J befor Gokou or Vegita did. He was born on the same day as Gokou, I do believe, and right next to Gokou. Gokou who was born with a power level of 2, Brolli much much much higher than that. Paragusu, Brolli's father, find out about Vegita and the other Saiya-jins on earth, goes there, and takes them to this "New Planet Vegita" to crown Vegita rightful prince. Later they find out about Paragusu's plan and Brolli and all that good stuff. Movie 8 is the movie where Brolli is first introduced. It's one of the BEST DragonBall movie and gives a great story. I don't want to give it away, so I suggest you go watch it somewhere, somehow... There's so much more I didn't add, partly because it'd be better not to spoil the movie and it's 4:30 am so I don't want to kill myself thinking to hard so off I go.

[/B][/QUOTE] I dunno... the Japanese title to the movie is "Super Saiya-jin Son Gokou".... but he never goes Super Saiya-jin... my guess it's just REALLY powerful Anyway, the movie is ok.... it's considered one of the worst DBZ movies and rightfully so..... although I am yet to see the dub.... dunno if I want to....

Metallica wasn't formed till the early 80's... and MoB is right... Kill em All, their first album, came out in 1983 and they weren't that popular at that time... they were rather popular with live crowds at the time though... mostly in LA if I'm not mistaken... anyway.... yeah so Metallica isn't 70's rock....
