lol sorry i brought bad news to you all. I'm the bootleg master person... I know most Bootlegs when i see them. I did a whole guide to them once... I want to find it cause i dunno what I did with it. Anyway, YesAsia's North American company is located in California, they still get all their CDs shipped from their warehouse in Hong Kong. At least they used to, could have changed since i last bought from them... which wasn't that long ago.... when VULGAR Limited Edition was released. A Japanese album is most likely going to cost upwards of $20. Unless you go on ebay or something, when in some cases you can find them for much less, but I don't advise that unless you know for sure they aren't bootlegs, cause there's a huge market on ebay for em too. Anyway, yeah, expect to pay $20 or more for any legit album. Most album that come out sell for $25-$30 depending on artist, first press, extras, etc. The overseas version usually, if there is one, comes out about 2-4 weeks after the Japanese version realease... these are usually $15-$20. YesAsia is the major dominant seller of these... HMV and CDJapan don't sell them to my knowledge. But usually overseas items are still produced by the original record company... ie: Sony has a Hong Kong division which releases overseas versions of their artists... Laruku, Porno Graffitti, etc etc. Avex Trax releases all of their albums overseas. They seem to have the biggest following there VCDs are often a good giveaway for bootlegs, however, not all is the case. VCDs are simply made for Chinese or Korean people who's DVD players can't support the Japanese format, or they can't afford the DVD prices (which are unbelievably high).... region 2. I think China and Korea are 6 or 4 or something. but alot of bootleggers make VCDs... they're easy to make. Also All Region DVDs are another dead giveaway. Those are almost ALWAYS bootlegs. I don't think any Japanese company makes all region DVDs for overseas selling. So if your DVD says All Region or if you payed less than $50 for it, it's a bootleg. Not to burst on you, but thats the unknown world that no one seems to know about... people buy bootlegs alll the time without knowing. I'm just here to edjumacate lol

Police Raid for Drugs at a High School
Transtic Nerve replied to Semjaza's topic in General Discussion
It happened at my HS when I was in 11th grade. We had sme Narcs and phone lines at the school were tapped... Our capus officer's daughter was arrested. It was really actually quite funny. It was a sting of 2 school sin our county. -
Fraggle Rock.... 'nuff said.

Uncanny amount? I looked at the first 30 RPG topics in A.A. and only 6 of them had any sort of rating on them. That leaves 24 other topics for you to post in that don't contain mature themes. I find that to be far less than an "uncanny amount" and gives you plenty of options.

If you don't care, which you just said you don't, then there's no problem.... so either you're lying and you do care, or you just don't know what your talking about... either way, you're 13, nothing important will come of him.

I just made this thing. It's not the best thing I've made by far but I was going for more emotional banner than something that strikes the eye. So this is what I came up with. I believe it captures the good and bad sides of the series in an emotional kinda way. The placement of the NERV logo was just to give the banner some sharp image and a meaning to those who might not get the rest of it.... the text says "The love of a boy will save the world"
Originally posted by lea2385 one time, when i was in 11 grade, some kid really really hated me (i never knew why, but it doesnt matter now). anyways, he caused some trouble, and the teacher called him to tell him to go to the office. he told the teacher he (the kid) was going to bring an ax to school, and chop me up to little peices.... well, duh, i was scared when the teacher pulled me aside and told me what the kid said. when i went home, i called the police, and a police guy came over. he said that in the free speech law, that kid can say whatever he wants. he said that kid can stand on the edge of my drive way, and yell all the death threats he wants.....the law changes when he actually comes on my property ........
He said this on school property? That police-man was wrong. Making a threat is considered assault, which is against the law. Even worse is that he said that on school property. Thats just one messed up situation...
hmm....maybe that rule applies only if your somone important..... why do you think the government held people for no reason on and since 9/11? i agree with you, i just want to know why you think that....
It was "in the interest of freedom".... it's the price we pay to have freedom apparently.... by taking the freedoms away from other America citizens.
Originally posted by wrist cutter I mean, yeah, you're going to be confined for saying "I'm going to kill the president"... but they can't exactly charge you for murder for that. So you can say it all you want really, and they can't persecute you other than putting you in a cell or something. And in there you can say anything you want. There's free speech for ya.
You're right, they can't charge you for murder.... but they can charge you for atempted treason or assault (a threat is considered assault) or they can just hold you for no reason what so ever like they have to many Americans since 9/11. Hell they may even through in attampted murder.... either way you're life will be ruined for saying 6 little words. Doesn't seem so free now.
Originally posted by wrist cutter But you still have every right to say it. I mean, yeah, you're gonna get the SWAT team on your *** in a hurry, but you can still say it if you want. It's not that they're attacking you due to what you said, they're attacking you because of what you are planning on doing... But are saying that an absolute "freedom of speech" would be that I can say "I'm going to kill the president" and nothing happens to me?
You have every right to say it to yourself.... if you publicized it you'd be arrested very quickly for stating a threat on someone's life.... Yes, thats true... it's not what you say essentially, it's what you're going to do, but thats still brought onto you with what you said... You could plan to killt he president and not saying anything and the SWAT team would know a damn thing, but because you say it, thats when it hits the fan... And yes, absolute freedom of speech would be the ability to say WHATEVER you want and the government would not interfere in your doing so.
Originally posted by wrist cutter You are still free to say whatever you want. I am free to say "I'm going to kill the president." BUT, that doesn't mean I won't be held accountable for what I say. If I were to say such a thing, the government has every right to come and bust my ***. I've just made a serious threat, one with potentially devastating effects on the entire nation. Maybe I'm misreading this or something though... are you saying "I should be able to say 'I'm going to kill the president' without being busted"?
I am saying that saying someting like "I'm gonna kill ________" is not within the limits of Free Speech... it's a threat.... against the law. I'm just saying that we do not have a complete freedom of speech... it's actually not free anything... people keep saying "there's limits to freedom".... it's not freedom if there's limits.... thats an oxymoron.... technically, we do not have free speech.... we have the right to say whatever we want within the limit of the government.... which is obviously not free or else we could say anything without breaking the law. It's the ability to say and do more than most countries, but it's simply not "free." Unless ofcourse you mean freedom as the ability to say many things without having government intervention on your rights. Then, yes, we have free speech. Freedom of speech works two ways... So I honestly don't have an opinion.... I'd liek alot of things to be stopped from being said (ie: KKK stuff, etc for example)... but I'd also like the ability to say alot of things.

Freedom of Speech is limited. You don't have any real freedoms till you become an adult in America, ie: 18. And none of those freedoms apply in school or the military. Those are two seperate things from a normal citizen, which they are given the ability to break your Bill of Rights. It's been said so by the Supreme Court many times. Which is why you canhave dress codes in school and they can search anything on their property, including your locker and anythingin your car, which under normal law they couldn't without reasonable evidence to do so. Free Speech is also limited in the fact it cannot purposefully cause harm to another person. IE: a threat... or you saying "Hey, why don't you kill the president?" or something to that extent. Hence why those are against the law. Freedom of speech doesn't mean you get to say whatever you want.... it means you get to say what you want within the limits of freedom, and by god, as of late there are many limits to that freedom. You can say that you think the Islamic religion is bad, leave it up to a country singer to do that, and this is why words like "ignorant" were created... to define these type of people. Ones who speak of complete idiocy. Honestly, I don't think he broke any rulesin freedom of religion.... He's selling music, theres pretty much all the fredom you want in that.... because it's your choice as a consumer tolisten to it or buy it. Therefor, if you feel offended, don't listen, it's pretty simple. Toby Keith is nothing compared to some people, I'll tell you that.

Let's talk about ....., baby... (Mature Themes)
Transtic Nerve replied to Artemis's topic in General Discussion
Humans and Dolphins are the only species that have sex for pleasure, meaning it feels good when we have sex and we do it for that pupose only sometimes. Hence the creation of birth control. Given that ability, I believe if it's there, let it be. Meaning if I can have sex for pure pleasure, then so I will. God gave us that ability, why not utilize it eh? I am lucky in some aspect, unlucky in others.... I can't get my partner pregnant.... however STDs seem to run a higher rate and risk in my situation. It's always and ongoing issue... you always have to be ready. Our society now-a-days is a sex driven society. Not to dog on Catholics or anything, but every Catholic I know has been having sex before marriage. My sister in law did it, my friends did it. It goes for everyone.... Sex is here.... and it certainly won't be going away for a while. Mise well live it up. -
Hmmmm My little bro certainly wasn't a lady killer, though Isuppose thats because he's beenw ith the same girl for... well as long as i can remember.... now they're married and have the cutest little daughter who will certainly attract the boys. Me.... I was all weird during that stage of my life. I wasn't actively searching for a girl, nor was I actively searching for a guy either, but I knew I liked em when i saw them in the hallway or whatever. I didn't actually have any interest in anyone till I turned about 17. But I still didn't find anyone till I came out later.

Don't worry, they're all gay.
Originally posted by Roxanne Leifen So you mean some of them are bootlegged but you just might not know it? That's pretty scary. *nods* i wonder if i got the bootlegged version of Gauze. I sure hope not.
Unless it was made by Firewall Records ir East West Records, it is. Bootlegs for GAUZE are made by Ho Son and EverAnime. MACABRE and Kai Remix 01 are bootlegged by EverAnime. SO if you have any of those names onyour CDs, you have a bootleg.

CS has yet again turned a decent thread into a spew about how he precieves his awesomeness in every aspect of life and his own pathetic thinking. Mitch said it best: "It is going to make them sick and tired of your stubbornness and ununderstanding." I already am. You know, when you're the only one arguing about something as insane as you think you know what women feel, and everyone else either ignore you or disagrees with you, even women (which is a dead give away you know nothing on the subject right there) there's something wrong with your lack of logic. You said you hated when people acted like they were one step up on you, well guess what, we ARE one step up on you. There's no acting involved.

There was an Overseas version of Kisou produced. I paid something like $18 for it, and I've checked on it. The CD itself says "Made in Japan" on it, and the cover art is actually upside down. And there's no Obi Strip either. Thats the only Overseas version of Deg that I know of. The case says: 02.01.30 SFCD-0012 2002 Firewall Div. Made in Hong Kong. The CD says the same thing except it says Made in Japan, not Made in Hong Kong. The bootleg version of Kisou is not well known. It's made by Alion Records. So check your CD. There is no known bootleg of six Ugly or VULGAR. However, Kyo doesn't ever sing in Chinese. The Overseas version and the Japanese versions are the exact same things, with the exception of some first press things. The music remains in Japanese, the written lyrics remain in Japanese (unless there is an added slip of translated lyrics), and the songtitles remain in Japanese.
Originally posted by cloricus Whites can understand blacks as what I assume you are talking about has happened to both, and people can also change the colour of their skin with ease to see for themselves and it has been done. Gays and straights can know how each other feel and think, stop trying to be separatist as both can have the same feelings and "enjoyments" as both groups are male. I do agree that on specific points like you pointed out with women (and can be applied to nearly everything else in the world) that some things can never be known, though making such a broad generalisation like you have is just childish.
Ok, tell me what I'm feeling right now or on a daily basis. As a gay man, how am I feeling right now? And also, tell me how my black co-workers are feeling on a daily basis. Tell me what it's like to be oppressed for who you are. Tell me what it's like not to have the same rights as you because of who I am. Tell me what it's like to watch people sit here and tell you how you live your life when they have NO idea who you even are. You seem to know what everyone is feeling, so tell me.
I'm not sure I quite agree with that. I know we'll certainly never be able to wholly understand someone else (of whatever race or gender), but we can identify. Although I guess that would mostly come out of interaction with whoever it was you didn't understand anyway... but I don't think it's as clear cut as 'we're different, we'll never be able to understand'. There will always be differences, but gaps can be bridged if people are willing to do so.
I never said men couldn't understand a woman's viewpoint or what they do, though 9.999 out of 10 times they don't, I said men can not KNOW what a woman is feeling. CS specifically stated he "knows what they want, how they think, what they like" and I'm saying that as a man, that is false and impossible. Put it this way, a man can understand what a girl feels like when she has her first period (after she tells him), but he doesn't KNOW what it's like to have a first period, or what was going on inside her mind at the time. A man can understand PMS, but he does not know why a woman has mood changes, when she will have them, or what they will be when she does have them. Only the person experiencing this can know. Men can never fully understand or know what a woman is thinking or feeling. Anyway, I don't like the term Metrosexual. It's fake, it's worthless, it's nothing but a media hype. And I certainly don't think it will do any good for the gay community. If you're a straight man who is supportive of gay rights, join a gay-straight alliance, join PFLAG, vote in support of gay marriage and adoption, do stuff like that. Extreme Metrosexuals are just bringing out the sterotypical gay community and thats not right... Thats like the equivalent of whites trying to be black by eating Chicken and Watermellon, drinking Fruit punch and Lemonaid, and driving Escalades or Navigators with 25 inch rims all the time. They are just bringing out sterotypical qualities thats not helping anyone.
Originally posted by Crimson Spider Hm... seems that what I percieved as a Metrosexual is viewed differently than others. I just thought that was a feminine guy. Someone who's thoughtful, and actually can convey their emotions. Or a tomboy.
No, it's not quite as simplified as that
Strange, but what TN posted after me actually mildly supports what I said. That is true. But think about this: No-one WANTS to admit that they are bad, or are the worst at anything. No one WANTS to admit that they are ugly. But the thing is, these are only mesurable means on minimal data and what we can assume. Listy Listy. So someone says their the worst ever at basketball. Do they want to? Nope. But they do, because they Believe, or Assume it's true.
I actually edited that out before you posted this, but you still quoted it anyway, so it's your choice to talk about it. I also pointed out after that that "you are who you are, and you should be proud of that." It doesn't support being gay as a choice at all, it supports the exact opposite. Being ugly is something you're born as. Being bad at something (such as basketball) is a disposition you're born with, that with practice and work, you can change. What you quoted was actally pretaining to metrosexuality in some way, however, you took it out of context, like you did the other quote below it as well. "See how much of a joke it is" was pretaining to me making Aerosexuality a word. You took the whole thing completely out of context, but whatever. Anyway, I don't assume or believe I'm f**king a guy, I actually am, therefor I really am. There's no believing anything about being gay... nope... I'm actually gay. I enjoy the company of men, not women. I enjoy making love to men, not women. I enjoy kissing and making out with men, not women And before you even say "but you haven't been with a woman"... on the contrary, I have.... as with 90% of gay men. It's part of the discorvery process in many cases... This isn't a religion, there are no beliefs or assumtions involved.
But I beg to differ! Staying away from gays now, Feminine, thoughtful guys, gay or not, could probably understand women quite well. I understand women quite well. I know what they want, how they think, what they like, and most of what they don't like, taking into consideration that every woman is different.
Beg all you want. Men don't know anything about women but what they see. Yu don't know how women feel, what they think, or anything that you physically cannot be a part of. Tell me, oh man of womanly knowledge, what does a woman feel like when her period starts...What does a woman feel like or what is she thinking when she is passing a baby through her vagina.... What does she feel like when she has to raise a child and become a mother? You know NOTHING about a woman, because quite simply you're a man. You never will know anything about women.... Because you aren't.... just like you will NEVER know what it's like to love another guy... cause you're not gay... you have absolutely no idea what I feel... only what you read. You only know the outside of women, you can never know the true inside of any woman. Just as a woman can never know the true inside of a man, a gay man cannot truely understand a straight man and a straight man cannot truely understand a gay man. A white man cannot truely understand a black man, a black man cannot truely understand a white man. You cannot truely understand anyone but yourself. This is why Metrosexuality is a joke... straight men attempting to understand gay men.... it doesn't work.

Metrosexuality.... are those people who have sex on the subway?... lol anyway As I said before I firmly believe that Metrosexuality is a fake sexuality... it's a fad as Tony stated, and it's quite frankly a complete media thing brought in to bring more attention to gay people, in whatever way they precieve it. I can't figure out Metrosexuality myself... I have a "metreosexual" friend who i find extremely odd. He wears nail polish, always dresses weird, is uber sensitive, and all sorts of other gay stereotypical things, and yet gets freaked out when I mention anything about oral or anal or anything gay related (in sex terms that is) to him. I's very odd to me... I still can't figure out just what the hell is going on inside of him. But yeah, acting gay? ... lets be gay, just not with all that nasty gay stuff. I think it's a bunch of BS quite frankly.... but then again... there are gay people who act straight (ie: me)... that actually hasn't been brought up as far as I see... thats an interesting concept.... I'll call it Aerosexual! Gay men who act straight..... See how much of a joke it is.... Oh... and straight people don't understand gay people.... as much tolerence you have for us... you'll never understand us and you'll always be weirded out or whatever.... just like you'll never understand women.... And DON'T turn this into some stupid debate over being homosexual as a choice or not, I will delete all posts pretaining to it.... I've heard the same crap over and over again, and if you're NOT gay, you have no say in the matter, this goes for both sides of the argument. So I don't want to hear what you have to say about me, cause you're not God... you never will be... look at the way you live your own life, not anyone elses.
-
South Park exagerated the WHOLE deal.... lol. You can only take South Park so serious and then you have to ignore the rest of it. It's a comedy show, they are going to exagerate.... ANyway, no straight man is THAT gay.... they don't exist.... not only because they are straight and therefor fear being accused of being gay or even taken seriously, as seen in South Park by Mr Garrison doing what he was doing.... Metrosexuality is a fake sexuality... it's a media thing... It's the same thing as Straight men who are comfortable with their sexuality. I don't think the gay community needs any help from Metrosexuality to make everyone more comfortable with gay people.... I think we're doing just fine right now without that term. In fact I believe it might do more damage than good. But thats me.

So? My school sells beer.... you can't get any cooler than that.
