Yeah, the last time a DB site said they have "reliable sources" it was Da Black Goku who spread the rumour of DBAF or DB Vertigo or whatever else... and well, you all know how that turned out. The Cast looks very doubtful. Too many big names for a little movie no one knows about. Movies like X-Men and Star Wars have had very little known actors, I would expect the same from this movie. But honestly, with the release of Daredevil and Spiderman with well known actors, it coul dbe a possibility, but I still doubt it. I wouldn't be surprised if only one or none of those people are actually in the final movie. The only guy who looks promising is that Piccolo guy.
Originally posted by Inuluvr1 We watched it, it was about 3 hours long.
3 Hours?? lol What movie were you watching? 28 Days Later was almost 2 hours long, not 3. 28 Days Later is the European equivalent to horror as The Eye or The Ring is to Asian horror films... Not many mind blowing films come out of Europe or the UK. This was one and a very good one. I thought it was well written, well acted, and I was very interested in it from start to beginning. That and Cillian Murphy is pretty hot once he cut his hair and shaved.

I saw it tonight... it was pretty funny... nothing too different or any different really from the first two. Same thing, new movies... different jokes i suppose.... no weed, gay, or penis jokes in this one.

We don't allow intro or newbie threads. Which is why you don't see a newbie forum.

I'm sory you're too lazy to type out simple words. Here let me bend over backward so I can change the rules to allow you to continue being lazy. If I can spend the extra half a second to type "you" instead of "u" (in many cases it takes less time for me to type "you" than "u") thenso can you.

I like Rob Zombie.... I liked his music at least, not that crap he put inbetween his songs on Hillbilly Deluxe or whatever else... And wasn't his little brother the lead singer for Powerman 5000?

What, are you in second grade? Oh wait, you're only 11... Welcome to the real world. People say things like hell, and s**t, and piss. Wats next? Are you gonna complain that I pushed you off the buss and made you cuss....

Kill anything completely ignorant to rid the world of stupidity and restore peace to all people. And since that won't happen, I'll continue to make themlook stupid like they really are.

I'm a mean evil nasty little queer aren't I lol. This is kinda odd, just reading a story here is odd enough but I promised I would. Not that it's bad, it's actually really good. I dunnow hat you said about the story being almost over, I think it would be cool to make it go on for a while, like agiant soap opera of OBer people... and I'm interested on seeing just how developed my character gets.... and he should appologize for being so rude to that poor girl lol.

Anyone interested in purchasing a used heart?
Transtic Nerve replied to NightmareMage's topic in General Discussion
I fail to see how you can give your heart away, broken as it may be. Thats taking it leterally, which I'm sure you don't mean, cause that'd just be plain stupid... metaphorically, I would be inclined to assume that someone broke your heart therefor you feel that you will never need t again cause the only person you ever loved has left you. Seems logical, however, we've had thousands and thousands of threads on this same issue. If you want some help, as much as some kids can give you on such an unknown issue as love, then you may scroll down or to another page where it is almost guaranteed you will find one, or two, or three hundred. If such is not the case, you should have specified so in your original post. It's not SPAM, but it's not needed. -
The song itself seems to be an annoyance to many. Another one hit wonder.... however the video, I think, is funny.

She doesn't like the boards apparently... consider being banned a favor. I mean if I don't like the food at a restaurant I go to, I'm not stupid enough to continue going there... thats just plain idiocy. Thats like saying "Hey you shot me with your gun and it hurts and I'm bleeding... do it again"... I personally think this is all a bunch of BS. All of you maniacs need to get a life. Message Boards are supposed to be fun, recreational activities while you're on the internet, not life consuming acts that require you to give up your personal time to b*tch about. Please, spare me your troubles. When you get into the real world, give me a call.
Originally posted by AzureWolf Two questions about the Zanza banner, though: 1. Who is Zanza? Isn't the guy on the banner called Sano S-something? 2. Why is there no border on this one? It's the only one, so I'm wondering.
Thats actually 3 questions :p Anyway, his name is Sanosuke, as written, you're right. Zanza is his gang name. The reason it doesn't have a border is because this is probably the oldest banner up there. Back then I didn't put a black border on it. I actually did a smaller version for use on this board where I had a border but I couldn't find it.

As by request some weeks back, I am posting most of my previous works, both digital and real life media. The smaller works will be visable, the larger files will need to be clicked on to load. I've seperated them into several categories for your convinence. DIGITAL WORKS Banners Shinsen: The Shinsen Gumi saying of "Aku, Soku, Zan" from Rurouni Kenshin Acceleration: This has a picture of my car in it, although you can only see the wheel. Alien: A little flur of the moment thingy I made after I saw the movie Signs Blue Dragon: I wanted to do something different. Something I'd never done before. This was the result. DespairsRay: My favourite Japanese indies rock band. Seemed only fitting to portray their excellence in my very own banner. Kakusei: One of DJ Krush's albums. He's a Japanese DJ who's worked with famous Japanese and American artist. Dears: Gackt partaking in the role of Jesus for this particular banner. I took a photo of him and added a few different things to create the look of depth with the feathers. Gackt and Yu: One of the most controversial Gackt photos out there... being me I had to exploit the adorabe couple. And then add some sweet lyrics on top of it. Forever: hide, who died some years ago, is immortalized in this banner; from life to death. Revenge: It's true. This is a particular Kenshin banner taken purely fromt he manga, seeing as how the Revenge Arc was never animated until the most recent Seisouhen OAV release. Night Water: One of my few experiments with simple colors and the blur effect. PENICILLIN: Another great J-Rock band. This was made when everyone seemed to be making banners that would fit in with the OB background and look like seperate pictures. Xpand: The influence for this came from Sasha's song Xpander which is one of my favourite songs of all time. Seemed fitting.. Zanza: The greatest anime character of all time. Wallerpapers http://necrophilia.nu/haruka/chris/digital-art/madeth-wallpaper800x600.jpg Madeth Gray'll: A great indies band, an even better wallpaper. I believe 2 of the members here are dead... I know one is for sure. They aren't around anymore to say the least. Shame really. http://necrophilia.nu/haruka/chris/digital-art/deg-wallpaper800x600.jpg Dir en grey: FILTH: This is Deg's FILTH look and even though the song isn't all too good, their look is. And well, with the exception of Shinya, they were too good to pass up. http://necrophilia.nu/haruka/chris/digital-art/mizer-wp2.jpg MALICE MIZER: Eternal: The most famous 5 members of Mizer are shown here. Kami is in the middle witht he Cross to symbolize his death. This is where the line in my sig, that has never changed, comes from. The Eternal Member of MALICE MIZER Digital Art Pieces http://necrophilia.nu/haruka/chris/art-work/a-childs-mind.jpg A Child's Mind: My boyfriend at the time did this work. I think he was just playing around, which is precisely why I titled the work what I did. It's playful and random. http://necrophilia.nu/haruka/chris/art-work/black-square-in-primary-colors.jpg Black Square in Primary Colors: The title says what it is. These few here are pure abstract works, and there for being like a true abstractionist, I gave it an unusual abstract name. http://necrophilia.nu/haruka/chris/art-work/lovers-in-a-newspaper.jpg Lovers in a Newspaper: The red, black, and white mix just gives it that feel of bonding of colors. It's amazing what you can accomplishw ith just 3 colors that go well together. http://necrophilia.nu/haruka/chris/art-work/poster.jpg Poster: It's name of Poster comes from the fact this is probably something like you'd see in poster shop or a painting on some rich guys wall that looks like a poster. Sunset: This looks like a real oil painting, but alas, it's not. Pure digital. I really like it. Reminds me of one my first oil paintings. REAL LIFE WORKS Oil Painting yuukai no mizu to honoo: The title means "Fusion of Water and Flame" which is essentially what it is. My first abstract painting. My only so far. Color Pencil Drawings http://necrophilia.nu/haruka/chris/art-work/art-vangogh1a.jpg Night Cafe: by Van Gogh. I did this remake in polo pencil for an art project. It ended up being much better than I ever expected. It took me a good 5 days to do. http://necrophilia.nu/haruka/chris/art-work/art-vangogh2a.jpg Starry Night: by Van Gogh. I did this for the same art project, with my own little touch witht he crappy curtains (I wasn't aiming for realism). This one took a bit longer, probably a good part of 2 weeks to finish. Graphite Pencil Drawings http://necrophilia.nu/haruka/chris/art-work/DBGTgoku-chris.jpg Chibi Gokou: A pencil drawing of Gokou from DBGT. Did this during Math class in 10th grade http://necrophilia.nu/haruka/chris/art-work/DBZgohan-chris.jpg SS-J Gohan: Another simple pencil drawing done again, in my 10th grade Math class http://necrophilia.nu/haruka/chris/art-work/DBZvegita-chris.jpg Vegita: Same as above. Pencil drawing during Math class http://necrophilia.nu/haruka/chris/art-work/DBZcrew-chris-color.jpg The DBZ Crew: I did most of this during Math class (and no I didn't fail that class) but the rest I finished at home. The colored Gohan is an unfinished work. I have been meaning to color the whole thing, however, I haven't gotten that far yet. And it's been 4 years lol. So there ya go. There's about 5 other charcoal drawings I'd love to put up but I have to get them pictured cause they won't fit under the scanner. I'm sure there's a few more pencil drawings as well. Unfinished for the most part. Enjoy... Comments always welcome, keep the negatives to yourself.

no... this is not what I'd consider a discussion. If you want to find people, i suggest going to TheOtaku and asking them yourself or put it in your sig if you really want to. But there's no need for a whole topic on it.

I'm sure the text was made that way on purpose as to blend in VERY well with the background of the banner. In which case I believe you did an excellent job. However, in this particular piece I would have gone without the text. I think the character you used brings a very respectable art look to her into your peice. Her red eyes and deep blue hair stand out so much it draws all attention right to her thus throwing your banner off balance a bit. If you wanted to keep the text, I would have to say to change the color.... to either the same color red (even though I'm an advocate against the colors of red and blue being the major colors in a piece, but in this case it'd work) present in her eyes or a tan color such as that of her skin... this not only gives the banner balance but also color coordination. Or I'd take the text out and make the banner smaller.... possibly something like 75 pixels high by 300 wide.... this way it drops alot of that background out and puts even more focus on your character without throwing the banner completely off balance. Overall a good piece of work. And don't mind that idiot Tracer, he's banned, and it's quite obvious he has banner envy, probably along with several other envys.

What does it matter anyway? No one's gonna look at you any different if you have 250 posts or if you have 255 posts. It's just a worthless number.

What they need to do is switch Elementary School where High School used to be, then put Middle School where elemntary School used to be and then move high school to where middle school was. But then again, all those early classes end when you go to college. You pick when you have classes.

That movie was really F-ed up to say the least. It even threw in some anime.... very odd, and very typical Tarantino. It's deffinantly worth watching.
Originally posted by Mitch You are dead wrong Transtick. Lyrics and instrumentals mesh together in a song to form a beautiful living, breathing catharsis. They are both equally, if not congruently, important to me personally; and they are both important to one another to an extent. And yes, almost all song lyrics do have a meaning. It's just those people, such as you, that don't understand these meanings. Poetry and lyrics are pretty closely related in my opinion. To discredit lyrics is to not truly feel the truety of music.
Well I'm sure they have meaning. I didn't say they didn't. I said they didn't make any sense, and they don't. Most Japanese rock band's lyrics don't make much sense (Have you HEARD Dir en grey's lyrics yet? my point exactly). Lyrics and music don't mix, the tone in which you sing the song mixes with the instruments being played. I've heard some absolutely terrible lyrics, but they were sung very well and therefor mixed well witht he song, making the overall song fairly good. (T.a.t.u. for example) and I've heard some reallly great written lyrics, which are preformed horribly, which completely ruins the song (GLAY for example) I personally don't pay attention to lyrics and I really don't like singing. I like MUSIC, not singing. If I wanted to hear singing I'd listen to Opera or Soul or any sort of genre associated more with singing ability rather than the music played. But I don't, I listen to rock music cause I like the music, not the singing. However, like stated, the way someone sings a song can help or completely ruin a song. This is also the reason I tend to like songs which DON'T contain any lyrics (Instrumentals, trance, rock songs without lyrics, etc etc)
Originally posted by satan665 How can you really get into the music without being able to understand what they are saying? I assume that most of us cannot understand a lot of Japanese, am I wrong? I can only appreciate Japanese music a little when i watch the super-silly music videos on International channel. There was this one song where they used the music from ghostbusters though, it was pretty fantastic. I would like to have that music if just for the novelty of it.
Cause music has nothing to do with singing. Or lyrics. Music are instruments being played to create harmony and melody. Lyrics are words put into a song that most of the time don't make any sense anyway, so why does it matter? I don't listen for American lyrics, I'm certainly not going to care about Japanese ones.
Originally posted by Baron Samedi You sound quite bitter about this kind of thing Transtic??.....
I'm just sick and tired of parets who aren't parents at all. If you don't have the will or time to take care of your kids, don't have kids.
