Most anime albums are bootlegs. Quite simply put, if it cost you $15 it's a bootleg. Any Japanese CD will cost you more than $20 for an album guranteed. Most anime albums sold here are sold at conventions or through websites where it's so much cheaper to just buy and sell bootleged albums because of not only the price but the quantity. Bootlegged albums usually contain a multitude of songs, several different "put together" albums from each anime, depending on their popularity, and several other "intriguing" things. Ever Anime seems to be the biggest bootlegging company out there. You will notice their little Ever Anime logo in rainbow colors. SM Records do it to. The reason why is because these are produced in Taiwan or Hong Kong where they do not recognize any copywrite laws, therefor they can take, reproduce, and resell anything they want.

Keep in mind some of, if not most, of those indie bands will be very hard to find. They also tend to be the more harder rock of them. The rest are mainstream, of have been mainstream, and music tend to get more poppy while they are mainstream (except Dir en grey who's music continue to be very experimental hard rock). Case in point: L'Arc~en~Ciel, Luna Sea, etc. The Star (*) is for the bands I particularly like. It all depends on what kind of J-Rock you're looking for. And alot of these bands have broken up and/or no longer make music.

You know whats funny, parents are all worried about their kids watching porno, yet you walk into their closet and you'll find at least 4 tapes of it. Kids are kids. They are curious... parents shoud just sit down and explain to kids what porno is and that at their age they shouldn't be looking at it and if they do go and look for it, then they lose internet or something... but parents don't.... they rely on crappy stupid unreliable "netnannys" to supervise their kids because they are too f-ing lazy and stupid to do it themselves.

You should never refer to Jikannohizumi as "that site I used to work" lol.... :p I liked it when you first showed me and I still like it. Oh and beofre I forget, I need some japanese fonts. I lost all of mine lol. I dunno if you still have them somewhere, your HD or a site somewhere... anything would be helpful :)

Parental controls are for parents who are too lazy to look after or to teach their kids what to and what not to look at. Useless programs for parents who shouldn't have kids in the first place.

Look, if you can have African American and Hispanic American slubs, you can have a Caucasion-American club, anyone who doesn't see the equality is a complete idiot. Just because black and hispanics aren't the majority doesn't give them the right to wine like little babies over this. Get over it. I wouldn't be against a "straight club" if someone made it, as long as it doesn't put down gay people, and this caucasion club isn't putting down any people. Of course, hell if anyone could see that the club is about learning... lol no one does that in school.

My best friend was on it once. They used to film all those Nickolodeon shows here. So alot of people i knew were on it.

Another movie based on a comic book.... The last few Batman movies have flopped... the only two sucessful comic-movies were X-Men and Spiderman, and X-Men was really the only decent one of those. (Hulk and Daredevil were complete waste of time) They have outdone this genre of movies (ie: Real Action movies based on comics and/or cartoons) already and it hasn't even been around that long. That and I really don't like DC Comics and I really don't like the movies they base on them.

Would you like to see my most recent works or like all of them? Anyway, I still don't see the screaming girl lol. Maybe I'm blind. But yeah, glad you like it :)

[/B][/QUOTE] You won't find it below $30 because the Japanese economy is horrid right now and CDs cost a bunch, not to mention the cost to import them. Albums generally cost over $23 on average. Yeah, alot of Japanese bands have American or British influences... esspecially the rock bands...

I'm not yelling, I'm asking in a sterm undermining tone. I just don't understand. Isn't there life in music in America beyond Linkin Park and System of a clown? It seems thats what every damn person listens to. Or if you like Japanese music it's always Gackt or GLAY that they yap about all the time. Why can't people like several different genres... Half of my music collection is European Dance/Trance another one-third is American/Japanese rock, and the rest is Japanese pop. Thats about as diverse as you can get. I also have alot of instrumental music too, like soundtracks and the sort... I think alot of people don't even give anything else a chance, and I think thats what bothers me. When I offered to play Japanese msuic for some friends, they automatically denied, not even KNOWING what it might or might not sound like... how friggin ignorant is that? It's just annoying... Typical American music listeners listen to whats popular and thats it... and thats just so ignorant to music. Its the reason we have the RIAA up our asses, it's the reason why bands drop off the face of the planet, it's why artists change their music half the time... they want to be popular, they have to please the listener, thus they have to change their sound to do so. The Pillows are one of those Japanese bands Americans have heard of, but can't name any song lol. They were pretty popular, but their fame has faded in the last year or so.

Anyway, the concent age in Japan is like 12, so they can legally get away with sex with a 12 year old, as opposed to the US where the concent age is 18 I think? Australia is 16, I think it's 18 in most of Europe too. You must also remember that the majority of the population in Japan is purely Japanese people. They don't have any multicultural influences like in America. There's no Irish people living in Japan lol. Well I assume there's some, but not alot. You get what I'm saying. They have a strong culture, I would suggest you learn some of it before you think about going... just as to not offend any of them. Oh yeah, learn some Kareoke and don't mess with the Yakuza, cause they don't like you.

Why would you ask this question? You know damn well at least SOMEONE would like any of these bands... they are only THE MOST WELL KNOWN ROCK BANDS IN AMERICA... thats all... but yet you still ask? I'm confused as to why you would post such a useless and retorical question. It's like me asking if anyone has heard of Britney Spears or The Beatles... Anyway, the answer this question, I only like Metallica and Rob Zombie out of that group... most of the other bands suck (especially System of a clown). Manson is good, but I just never got that far into their music (Same with NIN), though Manson is INSANELY popular in Japan, probably way more so than here.

We used to do this all the time with the 86s in HS... ofcourse I don't have any games anymore.... but they all sucked anyway... I wish I had an 89... those are the shiznit.
