How do those 4 bands go anywhere near the same category? The only ones remotely close are Godsmack and Disturbed. Metallica (which I'm totally surprised you spelled right since you couldn't seem to get metallic right at all) and LP are in totally different leagues. There's no comparison here, it's a bunch of nonsense. This thread should be closed since there's several topics on Metallica, LP, and some on Disturbed and Godsmack. PS: Linkin Park isn't heavy metal, but good try though. You should try lisening to something other than mainstream music before you go making a topic about it.

One medium of work doesn't make you an artist elite. It makes you good in one specific medium, which is hardly what I'd call elite. This is precisely why Michelangelo and Leonardo are considered one of the greatest artists. The excelled at painting, drawing, sculpting, ideology, and they knew how to critique another work of art in a way that could not only help the artist in the future, but help themselves int heir own work.

I'm so glad people are putting in hand drawn art instead of completely digital bull crap. Artists period, especially artist elites should know all range of art, should know how to use many mediums and should be able to adequately critique and review art in any medium and style. Something tells me alot of these elites arent elite at all, but thats just my opinion. Not to mention art have no range of good to bad. It's all art, it's all interpreted art. Meaning it's all how YOU as a viewer sees it. Which could be drastically different from the guy standing next to you or the old woman stuck in the cellar. Art can never be bad, just as it can never be good.

Except in this case, where the white contrasts too little. Because your background is light, the white doesn't show up well. I have to squint to read it cause it all comes off as one big blotch of light. White would only be a good color for text if you put a border on the text. A technique called "stroke" (which doesn't involve your hand and other body parts).. if you outlines it with a significant;y darker color/value (ie: black) it would look better. And since your banner already encompassed black in it, or at least a very dark value of some color, I'd personally use black. It'll make the text stand out more (and since the words are rather long, it'll make your banner look unbalanced), so you may want to slightly blur it or give it some range of opacity to not make it stand out so much. White doesn't go with everything. White only goes with dark colors. Just as black only goes well with lighter colors. You can't see white text on a white background.... or probably a yellow or oink either, where you could easily see black on those colors. It's all about contrast, placement, and scheme.

Ugh, threads like these provide for zero discussion and only worthless opinions about stuff you can't control made several years ago. Lets try to be more intelligent in our topic choices next time and try avoiding the overused and redundant "who's your favourite" topics....

Well this topic is going no where positive. You only have to realize, there's always something worse. Even in Crimson Spider's life, there's someone who's worse off. It may not help, but it's important you do realize that even though it may feel likeit, it's not the worst thing you could be going through. And if others have lived through worse, than you certainly can. The only thing you can do is live or die. Thats up to you and you yourself. I'm a pack rat, and I used to have tons of toys. I eventually sold alot. But I still have alot. i have about 6 full boxes of toys inthe other room. Notincluded in those boxes are the toys hanging up on 3 outof my 4 walls in my room. I collected Star Warsfigures, X-Men/X-Factor figures, Spiderman, Fantastic Four, etc etc for the marvel characters. Legos, Hotwheels cars, Matchbox cars and Transformers. I jumped on the Transformers thing and sold them about 2 years ago. Got mucho money too. I still have quite a few of them. But everything else I still have alot of, especially the Hotwheels cars and Star Wars figures, which I plan to keep for a while. I generally dont have a problemw ith my toys sense they are all packaged, minus the Legos. I have them on display, soon however theywill all be boxed in the attic except the Star Wars figures. People generally are odded out by them when they come in my room, but hey... I dunno of any stereotypes besides "being a kid" which is exactly what i was when I got all these toys. So I don't care what they say. I don't collect toys anymore.

So whats the problem then?
