Who the hell came up with the word Blog? The word is just nasty in it's own connotation. Address thingy: http://www.livejournal.com/users/gackt_sama Name thingy: LJ doesn't give names. Cause LJ doesn't give a shiznit. Reasons/Thoughts: I probably have had my LJ longer than alot of people here on OB. I started it when one of my friends was like GO! GO GO GO! I had my LJ before they started giving out codes. It was a new thing and it was just becoming a trend. One of the firsts. Before the word "Blog" became popular. So yeah.... I rarely update the thing anymore, maybe once or twice a week. Yeah so I'm better than you! lol.

You call these questions General Knowledge. lol apparently many of you have never met a general crowd of people who's general IQ is far less than what is to be expected.

You mean like making a forum to discus issues in certain countries? While the idea itself is rather good, I think that now-a-days alot of issues effect the rest of the world... something local or in your case the GG thing I saw, thats a rarity. But If any American got the whole story, I'ms ure our comment would just be as good as anyone elses. Perhaps when posting something like that, you should give a bit more information on the situation. SO that people, like me from the states, could comment on it.
Originally posted by Tigervx Wait, I thought advertising sites was against the rules at Otaku Boards. And even if its just a Flash Movie I once made a thread and it was closed in about two days. So, how is this any different from my "Wily Show" thread or advertising a site? I'm just wondering.
It's not only advertizing a site, it's quite pointless as well. Hence why yours were closed... and why this one will be too.

Anime Yaoi/shonen-ai: what's the attraction?
Transtic Nerve replied to Utena_Tenjou's topic in Otaku Central
Originally posted by Ohkami I think it is gross and wrong. Lesbian couples and Gay couples just freak me out because they have to do it in gross, weird and disgusting ways.
lol, you're 14, you have NO idea what is gross, weird and digusting. For all you know you'll be some stupid street whore by the time you're 20. In which case people will be calling you the same thing. People who think like you are whaqt limit the society of humans. You are all losers who have no life and can only be disgusted by other people's lives which have NOTHING to do with your own when in reality YOU are the only one who is disgusting, weird, and gross. It's the same attraction that straight people have to Hentai. At least Yaoi is... it's sexually arousing, thats it's only purpose. Porn is the same way. Any porn is. It's all exagerated. It's all for pleasure of the viewer, nothing less, nothing more. It just happens to be in another style. SO what sthe attraction towards yaoi... well when you become gay, you can tell me, till then, you have no substancial point of view cause you don't know what it's like. (I don't mean that in a rude way) Shonen Ai on the other hand usually deals with LOVE as opposed to just sex. I find it extremely cute. It's not really sexually stimulating, in fact straight women go for this more than anything else. To see two guys in love, cuddling, kissing, whatever... Most girls do that in the States as well. I don't know why girls like it, you can read QA's answer above mine, but I can't tell you anything else cause I'm not a woman. -
Originally posted by Failed_Attempts and end up getting the thread closed, then they get angry because they don't know all the rules yet.
Well I believe it states when you register that you should or have to read the rules before you begin posting, thus there is no excuse to why someone would post an introduction thread. It's their own fault... but because they didn't read the rules, they don't know that.

Anime The Official Dragonball GT Dub Thread.
Transtic Nerve replied to Jinzouningen17's topic in Otaku Central
Sure they do. Gokou, Gohan, and Goten's last name is Son. I dunno about anyone elses... frankly the series doesn't call much for any last names. They never use them, but because it's Japanese culture and last names are commonly used as a "first name" many people's name (ie Yamucha) maybe actually be their last name. The same reason Bulma continues to refer to Gokou as Son Gokou or Son during DragonBall, for it is his last name. -
A topic about Ice Cream... seems almost as bad as that socks topic.... But sure, why not. Buy from Store. If it's full I put in a bowl, since everyone else eats it to and it's just rude to eat out of the carton, plus it melts and thats not pretty. If it's almost empty, I'll eat the rest from the carton.
Vanilla or Coffee ice cream + maple syrup = better than anything else in the world. Well, maybe cheesecake is better, but this topis is about ice cream
Coffee ice cream? Ok, Coffee, which is hot, has no place in Ice Cream which is cold... thus it should never have been done. Plus coffe just nasty anyway. Then maple syrup... yuk... Oh and as funny as your sig is, I don't think it's so much appropiate here. You may want to ask James though or Charles... see what they say.

For some reason America has to dub anything foreign into American english. I can't figure out why. My guess is cause we're too damned lazy to read while watching a movie. Or people here are just generally too stupid to read at that pace, regardless. In Japan, if an American movie is released, lets say Matrix Reloaded for example, they don't dub it in Japanese. They show it in theaters in English with Japanese subtitles. Almost always. Same in China in most cases. Dubbed movies suck. Always have crappy voice actors doing a crappy job on a movie that probably would be 100 times better in it's original language. But we'll never know that, because all we hear is the crappy acting job by the voice actor... Anime is easy to dub cause you can match lip movements 90% of the time because it's animated, by real movies... ugh it's horrid. I always think I'm watching something on my computer cause the sound is so off. All the Godzilla movies should be the one example of why people should never dub foreign movies... and then it should never be spoken of again...

Acting gay? lol what the hell does that mean? Do you mean, prancing around like a fairy? Talking with a lisp? Wearing women's clothing (even though more straight guys do that than gay lol) Plucking eyebrows and wax hair because body hair, or alot of it, seems to be not the thing anymore like it was int he 70s and 80s. It makes you look good. Your idea of a true man is not my idea of anything remotely attractive, although some think that, the majority doesn't. Anyway, doing those things has nothing to do with being gay. I am gay and I do none of those. I don't pluck my eyebrows, I don't wear make up, I don't wax my body. How you act, what you do to your body has no refrence to what sexuality or sexual prefrence you have or are. The only thing that makesme gay is my attraction toward guys, nothing less, nothing more. Wearing makeup does not make you gay. Regardless gay or not, sometimes things like that are done on purpose. I guy may wax body hair because he swims. Alot of swimmers will shave their legs and arms just to cut down on resistance. Maybe a guy wears make up to cover up zits or whatever. (why do women bother to wear make up?) Maybe he plucks his eye brows cause they look like James Dean? Or they have a unibrow. If you had big ole' bushy eye brows or a unibrow that looked out of place, you'd do it to, no matter how straight you think you are. Guy simply don't do those things because they are "gay"... thats the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.

I really don't get it... Perhaps it would make more sense if you said what you were aiming to do here.

Here is a fine example of those who do not read rules Here is also a fine example of what happens to people who do not read the rules.

It reminds me of the matrix without you know... the actual Matrix lol. Machines vs. Humanity... been there, done that.

EVer since the very firsttime Ruben appeared on the show, you knew he was going somewhere. Simon knew it, Everyone else did, but I thought Clay would have won. I think he deffinantly had more publicity in the week building up to the finale.

Wow, I didn't think anyone could possibly butcher the word Terminator that bad....

OMG... before you EVER get on a computer again, you must get computer literate. Go buy Computers for Dummies or The Internet For Dummies, or whatever is out there. You simply cannot be this computer-illiterate in todays world. URL stands for Uniform Resource Locator. http://www.otakuboards.com is a URL. Also commonly refered to as a 'link' in many places. The name you give your picture file is called a 'file name'... go figure. But yeah, before you post anything else, in fact as soon as you read this turn off your computer (you know how to do that right?) and go buy one of the millions of books on computers and read it, then you can turn your computer back on.

Anime My thoughts on the Dragon Ball Z Movie
Transtic Nerve replied to eazy e's topic in Otaku Central
Well they made a live action X-Men movie and you all ate that up like it was a god send... so who's to say DBZ will be any worse? Making live action movies seems to be the thing now. X-Men, Daredevil, Hulk, Spider-Man... etc... why not add DBZ to thatlist. -
Only 1,300 people voted? Or am I reading this wrong.

Three Things You Just Ain't Gonna Believe...
Transtic Nerve replied to Shinken's topic in General Discussion
I heard of two of these stories just by watching the evening news and listening to the radio... so I really don't see a point here. I mean, if you want to know news stories, watch the news... no need to post it here... Unless peopel want to talk about how dumb people are in general, but thats pretty much every thread here. So yeah... Other than that, a dead guy sitting in water will not harm you if you drink it. Just like it won't harm you if you eat someone.... It'll probably be more nutrious for you. lol. -
Brian Dunkleman was his name. He went on to "better things" meaning he wants to pursue a career in stand up. He did a bit on Jay Leno right after the first American Idol, however he wasn't that funny. I really don't think he'll make it but whatever floats his boat. Ryan Seacrest is like that annoying kid that just bothers you day in and day out that seemingly thereis no way to rid yourself of his presense.... however Simon has really got to him this season of Idol. He's rather cute too, but looks awefully short standing next to Clay.

Err my whole point in posting my post was to NOT post in this topic cause one already exists. But no one seemed to get that....

It's pronounced in sylable form. O - Oh Ta - Tah Ku - Koo Exactly how it looks. With Japanese words you must break down every single sylable and sperate them to know exactly how to rponounce it. For future refrence of Japanese words and pronunciations: Vowels are pronounce dthe following: A - AH E - EH I - EE (I dunno how you would spell EEEEE) lol O - OH U - OO When vowels are put together, they do not conform with each other per-say like english does, you still must pronounce them as seperate sylables. But if you can learn to pronounce them right and fast enough, the sylables will flow together. For example: Making up a random word here: KAITO - KA-I-TO (Kah-ee-toh) If you say it slow it doesn't sound like the sylables flow, but if you say it fast enough, it sounds just like it should... But the main point is breaking each word into sylables and knowing how to pronounce those sylables.

Look, if this did happen (rape) you need to tell someone now. It's already too late to proove anything cause after 72 hours there is no more DNA proof of rape, so you already lost that. You can still go on the 'he said, she said' tactic. Either way... a) If it was rape, the kids that did it will get a scare of their life. If not jail time and a permanent record, sex offenders, etc etc. b) If it didn't happen, then someone's gonna get in trouble. They'll learn a lesson c) If the girls did actually say they wanted it, then it's not funny to lye about being raped. Rape is a serious issue and stupid kids don't need to be f-ing around with it. They should all be slapped multiple times for everything they've done so far. And you should to if you aren't going to do anything.
