Tatum-X and WW2 Senseless bickering like that will not be tolerated here. Especially the level of immaturity you both possess. This is not some middle man place where you two can whine and fight like my 8 year old cousin over somethingone of you said. This is a forum for discussion. Do you know what DISCUSSION means? So if you would please get on with your little lives and put your dinky reasons for hating each other behind you, it would be much appreciated. And never do it again. This is your first and last warning. Anyway, back on subject. Everyone gets the feelings they had forgotten something, or something is gonna happen thats bad or this or that. It's all part of your brain and what it does. It doesn't nessisarily mean anything, although it can in many cases. -
It's a British movie, never released in the states. So chances are no one's seen it, well at least not here. I'm sure it'll be released next year or something if it's that good. They did it with Bend it Like Beckham, but that wasn't really that popular here either. Looks like a good movie. If it downloads, I'll watch it, but if not I don't even think any store here would carry it. Also, next time, please put a little more life into your posts rather than "have you seen whatever, I have, it's cool, you suck" or whatever. Thats just dumb, it makes you look stupid, and it makes people not want to respond. Avoid using the multitude of faces too. Reminds me of some kid.

Art Golden Age of the Grotesque Wallpaper (redo....)
Transtic Nerve replied to Semjaza's topic in Creative Works
If it was 3 in the morning and totally dark in my room, that would have scared me. Oh wait... it is 3 int he morning and dark... i'm scared... Anyway, I like it. Mainly cause Manson reminds me so much of the music I love to listen to. Not his actual music, just his look. That whole wallpaper makes me think Malice Mizer, another MM group lol. It's very nice. Well I suppose that would be an insult to it, since it probably does pertain to the aethetic values placed upon us in America, or half way round the world, but it's good. Me like, me like very much, and it may not seem like it, but thats saying alot :) -
You should send a mail bomb to your neighbour! That'll teach em!
Originally posted by Endymion I remember hearing that Madonna has several decoys of her song online. If you try to download her song, you might get ahold of a fake. I'm sure that must be frustrating for dial-up users who try to download it.
Yes those are out there, but I got around them and found actual ones. There's decoys of everythign out there... I dunno why peopel continue to keep these fileson their computer so others can download them. Makes absolutely no sense to me.

Transtic Nerve replied to ++alice++'s topic in General Discussion
I really don't see a need for this thread other than to serve your, and my, perverted self interests. So i don't think it needs to be here. -
Originally posted by Mitch There's so much better music out there than Madonna. My God. To me she's already been dead. Her newer albums have been horrible and far inbetween. Maybe it's because I don't like pop all too well, but there is better music than this out there. From what I've heard, her new record isn't too good.
You sound like me. lol. I tend to agree, but I tend to disagree. I have to like Madonna. I dunno what it is, every gay guy does. Even if I tried, I couldn't NOT like Madonna. Old or new, Ugly or Pretty, Pregnant or not. She's the the symbols that is us it seems. But yes, like I said, it's not the best album, but its certainly better than some of the crap on the market. Plus she is ever changing. She never is the same for more than 2 months it seems. Always has something different here and there. Whether her appearance or music, something is always changing. With change comes good and bad. Obviously people who like older stuff isn't gonna like newer stuff and so and so on. She's not the best by far, but you certainly can't count her out as being very good at what she does.

I don't see what's so controversial about transexuals in the army. lol

Transtic Nerve replied to Braidless Baka's topic in General Discussion
I saw this last night too. I thought it was quite possibly the dumbest thing. Again I say, YAY for the Justice system! -
lol, yeah Madonna. As a gay male, I have an obligation to my cause to enjoy Madonna and everything about her. It's in the handbook. Ever met a gay guy who didn't like Madonna? Exactly... anyway. SO I feel the need to mention her new album and song. Her new album, released TODAY (04.22.03) is the same name as her second single from it, American Life. Die Another Day was the first single from the album, althoughit was more a release for the movie. I'm listening to the album now. And it's a bit odd. Different from what I'm used to. Alot of Acoustic sounds in this one, yet alot of poppy dance beats as well (American Life, Die Another Day for example) But what catches me off guard is the continual refrence to Christianity in her songs (as her former faith). And all religion for that matter. She has always had a controversial stand in the religious world (Anyone remember the Like a Prayer video?) but i really didn't expect to see it rising back in her music on this album. Maybe I wasn't paying attentionbut I don't remember so many religious connotations mentioned in Ray of Light. Perhaps with the social changes. She is always one to change with every album and single for that matter. I've never seen her as one thing for long periods of time lol. The album comes with a DVD if you get the special edition. Which probably contins the video for American Life, which you won't be seeing on American TV. I personally liked the video, it was a bit odd, but then again so is the song, so it seemed to go well. Madonna rapping though, a big non-no. She does it in 2 songs on the album, Mother and Father and American Life. I didn't like it. lol. Anyway, if you come across this albuma nd have $20 or so to spend, I suggest buying it. You'll be entertained, I garuantee.
Originally posted by Sara I'm on Spring Break. Life is good. ^_^
You'd think the school system int he US would be able to somewhat coordinate the Spring Breaks. But alas, such is not the case. My Spring break was int he middle of Winter none-the-less. it's rather odd the one thing educating us isn't very educated or logical in that. Oh wait, the population are the ones voting in members of the school board. Ah it all makes sense now. Note: Correctionon my last post. I have THREE days till the end of school.

Japan has alot of things similiar to artificial living environments already int he country. there's a fake beach that has artifical tides and even sunrise and sunset. It's really neat. Japanese technology is so far advanced that I see this as a rather easy task for them. As far as earthquakes go, we have technology where we can build things made to withstand earthquakes. An by the looks of the design, it seems like it could be one to withstand at least a minor quake. This is a really neat idea and it does seem to be a solution to make of the problems faced in Japan and Asia at the moment. I'm sure if Japan's economy was a but better, they would have already made this lol.

Drawing in history class... naughty naughty Sara lol, anyway, thats rather wll done. Simplistic, yet stylish, and seems to capture the character of Lain quite well, although you weren't drawing Lain. Well the character is still good. Very good :) Now off to study more history!

This little piggy went to the market This little piggy stayed home This little..... oh wait... those are puppies..... ------------------ Sammy, being the dog that saved little Timmy's life, decided he was going to help more things in need, this time by feeding hungry little pups. The idea backfired sadly and Sammy is now Sally.
Originally posted by SSJ Gotenks ok Again you are talking about mainstream rap i hate mainstream for the fact that all they rap about is cars money and hoes. And that is a reason why i stopped listening to mainstream a long time ago.If you are only talking about mainstream rap then i do agree with you TN it's crap but listen to underground hip hop and till me what you think underground hip hop artist's are about skills and knolledge i recommend you listen to some hip hop artist's from the underground dont give hip hop music a bad name just because of the stupid a**holes in the mainstream.:demon:And i listen to every other type of music i am open to everything im not sayin that hip hop is tha best type of music out there.
Yeah, but isn't this topic about the dissing in mainstream rap? Thus the backbone to my argument. Maybe I'm mistaken here, correct me if I am. To your point in listening to underground rap. it's really not my interest. I don't listen to much American music as it is, and that in itself is not rap. I have 4,000 mp3s (no joke) and of those, maybe 5, MAYBE 5, are rap songs. I have no real interest in listening to rap itself, let alone underground rap. I however, will take your word for it. But as I said before, I believe this topic is about the current disses in mainstream rap. Anyway, Endyion, I wouldn;t consider singing music either. Thats why it's called singing lol. You get the point though as you stated in your post. The actual rapping is not music, just as singing is not music. I think very little music is, however, used in rap songs. It's more periodical beats and noises. I mean, some of the crap they put in the background is hardly listening quality. Ther's only so much you can do with a 4/4 or a 2/3 or whatever beat. Some rap songs are sicking to listen to because of the horrible "music" they put in the background, but as you said, rapping isn't based on beats and music, it's based on the lyrics and style. Thus I don't see it as music, where as dance (ie trance, songs with little or no lyrics at all) or in some cases rock deals more with focusing on the actual music rather than lyrics.
