I give one respect when one earns respect... Harry, nor you for that matter, have earned my respect and till you do, you won't get any from me. Thats how I see it. Anyway. From what Harry had done and said before, there is ample reason to doubt his accusation. You know how many people go to jail for things they "say they never did"? Alot... Why? because of what they do, say, or have evidence against lead people to think they did something they didn't. Harry is the defendant, and the people who responded are the jury. It's up to them to believe what is told them based on their opinions of the evidence slated against someone. It's very easy to fake something said.... oh my god, the neighbours house is on fire! Now how many people are going to believe that? It could be happening. You don't know, but are you going to believe it based on what I've said in this thread and the placement of when and where I put it? Of course not. You're going to read over that as if it was nothing. Thats basically what people have done here. We had this happen once in the past. A kid was so upset at people here he made up a story of his sister dying in a car accident to get people to shut up about it. What's saying Harry didn't make that thread for people to start taking him seriously and not for whatever he did in his controversial ways before. Or maybe it was a controversy in itself? The fact is you don't know, and neither do we and the only thing we can do is draw some conclusion to ourselves on what we believe. And thats what they did. Since I did not post in that topic and will not reveal what I think on the actual situation, I have no answer to whatever may have happened. One thing's for sure though. If it really happened alot of people are gonna feel really bad, and if it didn't, you're gonna look really stupid.
Originally posted by The Vampire: Ed I just don't think it's right that people have to change anything they wear as long as they aren't in high school while wearing something with foul language on it or anything with pictures of men or women revealing themselves. She should not have been made to change it. That shirt she was wearing had nothing wrong with it, the teachers just didn't like it. Freedom of speech right? Well, all though she's not talking the shirt is still a form of speech and may be a reflection of her opinions. I think making her change the shirt is abusing her freedom of speech. But then again I think saying we have the freedom of speech in this country is a crock of s**t. It's just there to make out country sound more civilized that it really is, but whatever I don't really care about politics and such. People just shouldn't have to change their clothing because others don't like it.
When you're under 18, and especially in a public High School, thats certainly never the case. Thats why they have dress codes many places. The fact is, if she was under 18, she doesn't have any right to free speech. She's not an adult, she can't vote, she is still basically proporty of her parents, and proporty has no rights. I mean, sure you get the basic human rights and other live, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness rights, but nothing else. Kids have the right to a trial. I dunno if the Miranda rights apply to children or not.... they have the right to a lawyer. They have the right to exercize the 5th amendment if they do so please in a court of law, hell thats about the only place they have rights. But then again, thats pretty much the last place you want to be. The supreme court has ruled, as stated in one of those ridiculously long posts no one readys anyway, that School and Military have certain aspects to them that where you might have rights in real life that don't apply. Which is why if you have a car on HS grounds, they can search it for NO reason what so ever. They can do it for kicks and giggles, but if you were out on the road, they can't do that, legally at least. Same with the way you dress and the way you speak. They have been given complete control over you at school. Which is exactly why it's perfectly legal and right for them to send that girl home... whether morals have anything to do withit is not the case. They had their own right to do it and they did.
Originally posted by Cyko Yes, I saw Daredevil. I didn't particularly enjoy it. I don't think it was horrible, but Spiderman and X-men were much better movies. I wonder if there is going to be a sequel. Because in the comics
Electra is resurected.

I hope they don't... If it's gonna be as crappy as this one was... plus doesn't
Daredevil kill the Kingpin as well by pushing him out a building... in fact i thought both of them died that way...
I'll have to read my 8 bajillion comic cards again to know. I DIDN'T like the fact they never gave bullseye his costume. HE SAID HE WANTED A COSTUME! I hope thats not a spoiler lol oh well. I like his dinky little thing in the comics lol. He's so dumb lookin.

I never remember when I registered... someone always tells me... It was at Version 2 though, thats all I know... it was a UBB back in that day. And no one should be surprised I said that Sara. lol. You all know me too well it seems.

The movie absolutely BLEW. I've never seen a bigger piece of crap. Like 5 fight scene's lasting 5 min max. The rest was plot. the directing was horrid and the acting, much like Spider-man, was crap as well. It seems these comic book movies are going downhill. My frind walked out of the theater when he went to see it. I downloaded it so I didn't have to pay, and it's good too because I would have wanted my money back. Lets pray for X-Men 2... the Hulk doesn't look too promissing either.
Originally posted by Harry It's laughable that anyone can believe that crap anyway.
One should say the same wabout some of the stuff you say.

I was thinking something totally different when I saw the title of this topic....

It's called Mystic. It's not a level of Super Saiya-jin. It's just a regular level or power. Gohan achieves it... basically you have the power of Super Saiya-jin, if not more so, without going Super Saiya-jin. Thus there is not use going to the level of Super Saiya-jin. Just stay mystic.
Originally posted by treton_noir "Jesus did meet homosexuals..."-SpyderDragon *in a completely intellectual and non-confrontational tone* how do you know this?
Perhaps the bible says it? Yes, the only difference between gay people and straight people is the fact gay people find their own sex attractive. Last I checked, plenty of straight people have anal sex, so you can't even throw that argument at me. The way we feel towards that person, the way we act around that person, the meaning behind the reason we make love to that person is the exact same as any straight person who oves their partner. Cloricus, you can't understand. You're not gay. You have NO idea what we think. The only reason we know what you (meaning straight people) think is because we get it crammed down our throat day in and day out. It's automatically assumed in life that you're straight. It's like "everything is traight, unless otherwise noted"... lol. It's ridiculous. The only time a straight person will ever know what a gay person thinks, is if they actually take the time to get to know one and get to know the way they act around their partner... My best friend knows how I think. Why? Because he has known me for almost 10 years. He's seen how I act around my boyfriends. I don't consider my friend a normal straight guy. He has a girlfriend, they've been together 3 years now. They live together. And he has a best friend who is gay. Not many straight people can say that. Not many straight people knows what he knows about me and being gay. If you asked him if the way i felt towards someone else was different, he'd absolutely tell you no. Why? because I do the same thing he does with his girlfriend... I kiss, I hug, I go to movies, I argue, I LOVE. There is no difference with love. It's one thing... love is one thing that differs in no such way.
Originally posted by gokents Oh, that is good with out a doubt in that you are being accurate about interpretation of the laws stating why and when a public highschool has the right to "deal" with a matter such as a students clothing. It is a very good thing indeed... It shows me that you aren't making this out to be about general censorship or your personal opinion of W. Bush. I believe that my opinions and support of my opinions in my first reponse should be enough of an input on this subject for me to not respond again.
Naw, I don't think Bush is exactly doing the right thing but... I don't think wearing a T-Shirt is gonna do anything but put yourself in danger. Which I think is stupid... which is why you don't see me wearing one. I also don't support the idea that kids should have much, if any rights. Once you graduate high school it's fine, but during HS I think many kids are still learning, and since I didn't even have Gov class till 12th grade, I don't think alot of kids know what they are talking about or doing. So i don't support them freely speaking out in such a way (as this example provides, others I may tend to disagree with that on), esspecially at school, where you don't have any rights as it is... Because once the school cuts down on this, they will everything else. And that ruins it for the rest. Till someone can grasp the full extent of politics or war or whatever, I don't think they need to be wearing something like this. Especially at a time like this... and especially when she doesn't have any credibility to do so. She's just a person with no power as one person... thats why she was sent home. She has no power. Whatever the thing she might have been wearing... if she wanted to make a stance, she should have done something more. But then again, maybe she was just trying to do something she wanted to do... so... whatever floats her boat. Although I think school was deffinantly the wrong place for such action.
Originally posted by gokents Wow, I totally didnt expect that one from tn.
Is that good or bad?...

I took the liberty of merging the two threads for lack of anything else to do. So it's going to look confusing. But at least you all can't argue over which thread is the right one to post in :p. lol. I hould have just done this before... didn't think about it.

Is this high school or college? I n high school, no she doesn't have the right to wear it. The school can tell you what you can and can't wear under supreme court ruling, however college is something totally different. Unless you're going to a specific college, the school has no right to tell you what to do. You're an adult and all your rights apply.
Originally posted by treton_noir "People are gay. ***** find guys attractive, that makes me gay."-Lalaith Ril well... i think brad pitt is the hottest man alive... and chris cornell(soundgarden, audioslave) is pretty freakin hot, too. im in no way homosexual. i just find them pleasant to look at.
Thats because you're comfortable with your sexuality. Seph would say the same thing, in fact Seph would look at yaoi on many occations, and yet he's straight as can be (Married and now has a beautiful daughter... she's almost a year old now... in a few months lol) Straight men can easily find any other man attractive... that, like you said, doesn't make them gay. What I think makes someone gay is not a sexual attraction, but a sensual. You can find Brad Pitt attractive, but could you date him? Live with him the rest of your life, kiss and make love to him? Thats what I think makes someone gay. The sensual attraction of love to someone, not just a physical attraction of what "looks sexy" to them.

Thats so oddly disturbing. I mean... I always have this thing about watching someone/thing die. Like I'm curious what it feels like to witness someone die. So i downloaded like one of those faces of Death videos and it literally made me sick... yet i kept playing it. not believing what I saw, yet knowing it's real, well at looked real... then I deleted it.... something really weird with people watching something so gortesque.... I dunno. Thats kind of disturbing... basking in another's misfortune.... Which is why I was extremely disturbed while watching the first 5 minutes of the movie "Narc"... had to stop watching it after that.

caffine.... the only drug I like... and i'm not really addicted though... Comedy i guess is one... I love comedy... like stand up.

There's a rumour that I'm gay. And I keep telling everyone I am so shut up!

These kinda threads are not what we look for here. Favorite threads get really pointless over and over again.
-
You know why? Because everytime the picture loads in your signature from anywhere on the boards it counts as a hit on that "viewed thing" since you are hosting it from the boards. People don't actually click it that many times lol. That would be pointless.
-
lol I thought about it for a second and then I decided to just download the album for lack of anything better to do. It can't hurt after all. lol

I really think that since the link to the other topic was posted here, there's no need for this one. But, you've already all posted in it and it's be just dumb to delete it now. But for future refrence, if a link to the equivalent topic is posted, please don't post in the recreated one. As far as tatu goes... as said earlier, the lyrics are horrible but the music is good, wheteher it's easy to create or not. i like the music, the lyrics are crappy, but the voice is good. I do also agree that this type of music is odd and not exactly what i'd call anything great, but it's appealing. At least it's not crappy boys who can't sing or write their own lyrics and music making millions. These girls are for real. They represent the reality in music and not this fake wall that we have in America where rappers "keep it real" and britney can "sing"... it's all fake here. I liek to here crappy lyrics and simple beats. Makes me realize they do what they do and do it bad lol. I do expect to se any real talent come out of America in the near future. Not even American Idol can do that.

Err yeah. This topic really isn't a kind that were like here. We like topics with more... in depth opinions but not like this.

A line consists of points which are finite. Points can be bisected over and over again, yet a line is never ending this a line cannot be made of points. ~Zeno (of course that has nothing to do with anything really) Anyway, this is for scientist who go to school their whole lives and know more about one star than you do about everything. Which means, you shouldn't even bother wasting your time thinking so much about it because it really doesn't matter. It's not going to make any difference what you think because you have no credibility. Just like me.. or that guy over there... or the other girl in the corner.
Originally posted by Meier_Link by the way, i wonder if anyone here is replying to the thread just becuz she looks good, besides me
Ok, this is getting out of hand. That comment, although not rash, was certainly very rude. Let me not warn you again. Didn't anyone ever teach you manners? If you don't have anything nice to say, please don't say anything at all. Oh and I'm sorry you are embarassed about being b*tched out by me. lol.
