The problem with education is because the state can't afford to make a better school. The reason is because they spend the money on other crap to better themselves and leave the crappy innercity schools to fend for themselves. There's no logic in giving the school with good grades and better foundation and teachers more money when the school that has roaches and walls about to fall down and bad teachers gets nothing at all. You have to have good teachers to make children learn. Kids don't want to go to class because they either a) don't learn anything or b) are forced to learn in ways they don't like. If teaching was a one on one thing, this country would be alot smarter. If teachers were fun and wanted to teach instead of seeing it as a chore, this country would be alot smarter. If we hired teachers that KNEW how to teach, this country would be alot better. I believe this country is full of children who are stupid... hell adults who are stupid. And I don't believe it's etirely their fault, although there are children who do plain out don't want to learn or do anything associated with school. I think the majority is because we lack any educational morals in this country despite what we all think. If our politicians would act for education and not their own a$s, we might go somewhere, but thats not likely anytime soon. So do yourself all a favor and try to help your kids. Because public schooling doesn't really do much.
