â??The Sith are invading at this moment. A legion of ships jumped into charted space and three planets are under assault.â? Xillian spoke to the order with ferocity but he preserved his true emotions. His duty was to keeping the balance as well as any other Jedi, but the Sith cannot be part of it. Xillian had read holocrons speaking of many Sith, all of which met there end when they couldnâ??t hang on to the power they lusted for. They also had a tendency to destroy as many peoples lives as possible getting to that inevitable end. His task was simple: Convince as many Jedi as possible to fight against this threat, and join the fight himself. He expected that he would be struggling to do both, but knew he could manageâ?¦ he was taught well.
â??Xillianâ?¦ we have heard the reports as well as you have, Kashyyyk, Telos, and even Tatooine are under blockade, but the masters had specifically said that a Jedi does not seek battle, and you propose becoming soldiers in the republic military? I will not let my masterâ??s last lesson go unheeded.â? Corrun sounded a bit more nervous than usual. Most likely this was do to the many Jedi Xillian had already convinced to join the fight. He finally looked worried now.

â??With all do respect to our Masters, that final lesson got them killed. It taught me something as wellâ?¦ we need to beet these monsters if we expect to keep the universe from our masters fateâ?¦. Now I am afraid we are about to drop from hyperspace shortly and I wont have the time to switch from Hypercom to subspace communications while finding a pinhole for our dropship in the blockade around Kashyyyk.â?

â??You are already running off to battle?â? Corrun tried to sound surprised, but everyone knew that Xillian never waited for orders when lives were at stake. The order always believed his need to preserve life was out of fear for loosing it, and needed to be interchanged with acceptance. This was an unacceptable stance to Xillian. Though becoming one with the force seemed to have beauty in the action, those who do almost never return. He had always been told that the force is life, so why would he treat it with such indifference.

â??Correct, now if youâ??ll excuse me I am going to be rather busy for the next few days. I will try to report what I can.â? Xillian switched channels. â??General Olesa? Do you read me?â?
â??This is Dax hereâ?¦ you the Jedi we â??been waiting for?â?
â??I suppose I must be. Do you have a landing sector for me?â?
â??Sure I do, go land next to me... erm, a bit north-east should be fine."

The troops were forced to jettison from the ship using rocket packs or landing stabilizers. The convoy cruiser had taken a turbo laser barrage on entry and couldnâ??t land because of a heavy weapon battalion traveling through the drop point. â??We could have found a better landing zone by turning the navacomputers offâ? the pilot was in a justified bad mood.. He managed to avoid the tank fire and landed on the top of a tree fort. Xillian reached out during is decent sensing that the inhabitants had escaped.

Xillian steped to the head of the troopsâ??Soldiers, we were supposed to land on the other side of that vegetation, but as you can see we have a battalion of tanks in our way, those tanks are most likely heading for the front lines, we are going to take them out before they get fortified with infantryâ?¦. Move out!â?
