Just because I've confirmed two spots you guys are dropping out? OB Theater has gotten soft. :(
I wouldn't call the rest of the OB theater soft, there are just people I think that are probably better at this than I am, so its just me.. I have had only a handful of RP's and I still think I need a lot of practice. I know an audition doesn't guarantee the part (I was not aware that we had to be familiar with fairy tail's group size though d: ) but in the same respect, even if I aced my audition and got in, I still doubt I could do better than some of the others who signed up. I don't like discarding the character I put a lot of work into either, but it makes me feel better knowing an amateur like myself didn't steal a good part from more capable hands.
  4. So I just got back from getting shot in the face with an airsoft gun a bunch of times! Six friends and I had a makeshift gunfight. No one lost there eyes, but one of us got pretty darn close.... I highly recommend not doing this, since there are lots of less painful ways of entertainment. Also, cleanup is a pain. We had pellets everywhere. u__u

That's quite a disappointment. I probably wouldn't have bothered signing up if I knew there were only four possible spots open, if that. There are a lot of good sign ups, and I would rather decide for myself if my character should be in this or not, so I will drop out of the running. Hopefully this will give everyone else a better chance, and make White's decision slightly easier. Good luck to everyone, and have fun.
  6. David Freese is probably feeling like a hero right now. If baseball games were always as good as these world series games... I'd watch them all the time.

I am sure you are pretty busy.

I never put much strategy into it, either, but then again I don't put much strategy into Pokemon games, period. I pretty much just muscle my way through.
Heh, stupid was a little harsh of me, Playing games that don't need strategy without a strategy is fine. n_n;; I just play tons of card games so I get caught up.
  10. Well... I did like Summer Wars, but I also can see it whenever I want... I also have tons of street fighter games, some of them with online play in case I want to get my but kicked by everyone around the world. as far as cosplay goes, I can't really match it... but I could walk around on October 31st and win a prize at any house I visit.

  12. Today I get to go eat as much as I want for FREEEEEEEEE! ^~^ My friend Brady is paying for my lunch (since I covered him last time) and we are going to my favorite Chinese food buffet. This place has everything.... Sushi, Mongolian BBQ, Tempura, Crab... and free refills on soda! <3 Back when we were going to high school, Brady was the only one with a high paying job (mostly because he is two years our senior,) and he is a nice guy who likes company when he does stuff, which usually meant he would take us places and buy us food. This act of kindness has been called "The Brady Treatment" ever since, and has been used by our group of friends whenever all expenses paid outings occur.
  13. With my xbox 360 out of commission, I have started downloading ROMs again. I just beat Pokemon Trading Card Game for Gameboy Color last night. Essentially, it is just the Pokemon trading card game using only the cards of the first three sets (original 151 Pokemon.) The story is lame, basically you go fight 8 "clubs" and if you beat the leader you get a "metal" and with all 8 you can battle 4 legendary duelists. the incentive behind this is to get four legendary cards, which are for the most part broken, overpowered monsters that can make every deck troublesome, except for one of them that is a third evolution pushover. I remade the deck (with a few editions) that I used when I was a kid, and beat the crud out of every deck they threw at me (I lost twice,) though I used pretty much every broken card available. The only time I ever lost was when I drew too many cards before I beat the person. The way the game is set up, it isn't easy to see how many cards are left and I was using a ton of draw cards. I could go into details of why the card game is really flawed, but everyone could probably figure it out by the fact that its friggen Pokemon, and is meant to be played by stupid kids that can't think of unbeatable strategies. I am now playing the original Star Ocean for SNES. The dialogue is pretty boring, but the setting is okay. I have gotten passed the first mission and still have no clue about the character I am playing as. Everyone else however seems like a bunch of complete idiots. My opinion of them might change over time, but I am not that optimistic. The combat system is really lame right now. it seems like the characters have a lot of detail and you can learn a lot about their likes, dislikes, and hobbies... but I have no idea how this information effects the game. The leveling up and damage system are pretty generic, however you only get to control the main character, and the others use a gambit system. everyone has for tactics that are pretty much from most aggressive to least, but as many as I try, the computer AI has the guys just sit around in the back doing nothing if I don't pick the most aggressive tactic. There are also tons of formations, which is nice, but ineffective since all the characters move so fast. I usually just slam the A button till everything is dead, turning this RPG into a hack and slasher with items. I really just wanna blow through this one. EDIT: Pretty much everything I said before was wrong about Star Ocean. This game is actually pretty amazing. The English translation is a big problem with this game, but for the most part the story is pretty darn good. The main character still hasn't shown much personality, but I like to think he is just a really relaxed dude. As far as the other characters go, there personalities are pretty generic, but they aren't annoying. All the skills that I thought were pointless seem to have an in-game effect that can really improve your characters (except oracle... Enix is not a gentile god) The combat system does feel a lot like a masher, but the skills give it a more fluent and visually appealing. You can't control the A.I. at all, but there are a ton of cool moments when they just decide to use teamwork to take down enemies. The special skills also look cool when you add them together, so really even though its simple, you can make it as deep as you want, and look good doing it.
Bottom line is if you're a Caster Mage with armor and/or a weapon just remember that it has NO effect on magic and doesn't protect you from magic either. I just really want to make this clear. ^_^;
I can change it if it really seems weird, but I like the look of armor, even if its a piece of useless junk like my characters set.

Name: Terra Vuala Nickname: Spy Age: 22 Gender: Female Casual Appearance: She obviously doesn't wear the same thing every day, however it would take a miracle to get her in a dress or anything "Girly." Her favorite color is green so its not uncommon to find her wearing it. One thing that never changes is she has a hat of some sort. Battle Appearance: She wears comfortable, warm clothing, since she absolutely detests being cold, especially during a fight. Circle Color: Amber Type: Caster Magic: Portal magic. an even number of navy blue, smoky portals spiral into existence. the maximum size, distance between them, and certain qualities of these portals change based on the level of the spell. the length of time each portal lasts is about one minute or until the user caster uses another spell. The user can actually see where the portals lead simply by looking through them, however it is rare to find anyone else that can. Portals are also a physical object, and though they may displace air, any object denser than that will not allow the portal to form, this makes placing a portal between walls, inside of people, or underground impossible. Basic spell: Portals. Two portals appear within fifty feet of each other and the caster. They can grow just big enough to fit a person. Moderate spell: Vortex Portals. Same as Portals, except one of them has a strong pull, and the other has a strong push. This allows the caster to suck an unwilling person inside, then forcibly throw them out with increased velocity. Moving Portals. Same as Portals, except one or both portals are "thrown" and transport whatever they come in contact with. The object is teliported, but no acceleration or deceleration occurs. Multi-Portals. up to three sets of portals are created at once. The effects of the portals are the same as the basic spell form. Advanced spells Long Distance Portals. Same as Portals, except the distance between the two is increased to about one mile. Giant Portals. Same as Portals, except the size is drastically increased, up to a 30 feet in diameter. Vortex Moving Multi-Portals. The portals made have all the attributes of the moderate spells. Other Info Personality: Terra is a cautious fighter, but when she sees an opportunity she strikes without hesitation. She spends a large amount of time gathering information about her opponent(s) before mounting an offensive. People often see this as cowardly, but she doesn't mind since she usually comes back from fights without as much as a scratch. Off the battlefield she typically is meddling with other peoples affairs. She can be noesy and annoying, but she typically just wants to help others with their problems. Though she tries to get in other peoples business she rarely allows others to help her out, or even know about them. She is also a very temperamental when it comes to two things: Being looked down on, or treated unequally by men, and being cold. Background: Terra was born on the sea, and lived most of her life there. Her mother was a traveler on a cargo ship and her father was the captain. Pregnancy at sea was difficult and her mother became resentful of the child before she was even born. After the birth Terra wasn't an easy child, and this just made the relationship between the two worse. At the next port, her mother left without a word, or her newborn child. The captain raised her on his own from then on. Terra showed signs of magical talent early on, and eventually became strong enough to defend against pirates. She worked hard, but her life was a happy one, but all good things come to an end. At the age of 16 her father became very sick. He died in two weeks time, the cause was likely phenimonia and since they where out at sea there was no way he could get to a doctor. Her father left her the ship, but the crew did not come with it. They were sympathetic, but they parted ways as soon as they reached port. She ended up selling the ship, and living off it. Instead of getting sad, she began to get spiteful, blaming the crew for abandoning her, since she thought she could be a captain. Her goal is to own a battleship someday, and have an amazing crew of mages. In order to afford this, as well as just to be able to live under a roof, she started working at Excalibur. Flashback: Terra woke up to the sound of feverish knocking on her apartment door. She leapt out of bed only to be greeted with the morning chill, so she returned to the solitude of her covers. The knocking got even louder, " I am gonna come in there if you don't open up... you know the rent was due last week!" said the landlady in her screechy, unpleasant tone. Terra once again hopped out of bed, grabbing her blanket this time, then summoned a portal to the tenants room below her's. The setting changed to a much more sterile atmosphere, where there were no clothes or empty food containers laying around. There was also a man sitting at the table in the mini-kitchen. He put down the newspaper he was reading, then took a sip of his coffee. Her sudden appearance in his room was not an uncommon occurrence. "Running from the Landlady again?" groaned Matt. He got up, grabbed a bowl, and spooned some pre-made oatmeal into it. He then set it in front of Terra, and went back to the newspaper. She took a seat and allowed one slender arm to breach the blankets protective barrier. " I wouldn't have to run if those sexist pigs on that fishing rig would have given me a job." She said while in between bites. "Its been a year, and you pay half my rent. 50,000 jewels a month is a sweet deal." He handed a page of his newspaper to her, " You need money fast, so join the local guild. You said you used to fight pirates right?" She the article about the Lucky 4, the strongest team in Excalibur. "If I get killed, I am so gonna haunt you...."

    Mass Effect

That summery is pretty much it, especially the last pic since every cut-scene needed a close up like that one. I am pretty excited for ME3 because this series seems to have limitless potential. ME has so much background information that you could probably make hundreds of games, but following Shepard seems like the most fun. The concept of having a decision making game where the choices you make impact the rest of the world in more than one game just sounds cool, and they did it. I have played a lot of ME, two playthroughs for my three characters. My perfect playthrough is sentinel, and a Paragon. I am also a pretty girl Shepard. I find that a few scenes are just better when you play as a girl, such as
headbutting a krogan.
I have really only played ME2 twice, but I still like it.
  19.
...has a breath that smells (and probably tastes) like sewage...
Well, this was pre-vomit so the smell wasn't so bad. I was also smart enough to keep my mouth closed, so no tasting went on. She was not hawt though, so I feel like a mouth rape victim. d:
  20. I am kinda shocked at that stuff too... but unless people decide to slip ruffies in my cup, I can probably avoid it. People stealing kisses is harder to prepare for.
  21. I know I don't talk to many girls, so it really isn't that surprising that I wouldn't know this... but girls act very differently from guys when under the influence of alcohol. I went to a friends housewarming party, and his roommates invited a ton of coworkers over. I ended up playing a drinking game with one of the girls, and she decided she didn't wanna play anymore rather quickly. I said it was fine and helped her drink the stuff we poured out, so in return she kissed me. I don't even know this persons name and she was just so casual about it. I am sure that not every girl goes to parties and kisses strangers, but I have heard a lot of similar stories and past experiences from a friend.
  22. I did a lot of cleanup on my desktop since I last posted.
  23. This is awesome! I try to recommend this show all the time but because it is subbed instead of dubbed they blow me off. If/when they announce the second season I will be right there with you GoMe.
