1. *waits anxiously.* I really hope I don't get a bye week... I am itching for a fight.
2.
Yeah, Eden of the East is at times outlandish (I had to reset my BS Meter a couple times when watching it), but overall I liked it. I just recently rewatched the 2nd film Eden of the East: Paradise Lost, and it got better the second time around. I'm tempted to go through the series again once more.
I just saw the two movies today. I am not sure that the final ending lived up to the rest of it... but it was a very realistic way to finish it off. I think the movies did a little too much backstory and not enough following the characters actions, but I am still glad they continued the story after the anime series ended... the build up in that series was amazing.
3. I have done quite a bit of anime watching lately. I just watched Eden of the East in two days time. It is a short series (though I bet there is more out there) but definitely one of the best I have seen. The plot is amazing, the characters seem pretty realistic, and the same goes with their personalities. The story is outlandish, but it sure was believable. I can't think of a single thing that I didn't like about this series. I also watched Millennium Dragon. Its a dubbed movie that is all the rage on some anime forums (thankfully not this one) I personally think it is a waste of time, (and I wasted even more time because I fell asleep watching it twice) so stay away. The dub is bad, so pretty much all the appeal of it being in English was instantly stripped away. The animation is choppy and the characters have almost no expressions what so ever. It has the budget of a anime movie, but they squandered it on below par production value. The plot is so generic it hurt. The appeal to this anime comes from the fact that the main character is a useless coward that inherits a ton of power from a mira/redi(culous) turn of events. This nobody then becomes the bravest boy on earth, and we are supposed to believe that it is because he had the courage inside him, and it is in no way related to the fact that he suddenly became the most powerful person on earth. I am guessing because I am currently a nobody, I should be inspired... didn't happen. Lastly I started to rewatch the old school Mobile Suit Gundam. I know the animation is bad, and the characters actions are borderline cartoony, (watching Amuro drive was hilarious) but the show does have a decent plot. I like most of the characters, but everyone is a bit rash in that universe. Personally I am just glad to see a Zaku II again... those things are so cool compared to all the other drone Mobile suits in other Gundam's (except for the scary ones in F19.)
4. No luck on fixing that xbox. My friends brother trashed his broken one.

Maybe you can find someone else with a broken xbox?

It would have to be a specific problem, the only thing that I know for sure is salvageable is my disk reader.

5.
.....How does anyone learn this much about a gaming system? *still has trouble adjusting her DS brightness*
I took my friends xbox 360 apart to remove dust from his readers lens. that fixed it for about a year and a half. When his little brother tried to fix it like I did he broke the dang thing. As for how I learned it in the first place... youtube videos. With the internet I can probably do a ton of handyman stuff... which is important because for some reason everything I have loves to break. Quick list of things that are broken. My xbox 360 (in the process of fixing) My xbox 360 controller (workable, but not good) My xbox 360 headset (fixed for the most part) My power cord for my laptop (fixed, but difficult to manage at times) My cell phone's interior keyboard. (too messed up, and if I fixed it it would break again) My Bass guitar ( it takes a lot of tape, but it works) My electric guitar ( It works half the time) My glasses... all of them (I bend them back to shape as best as I can.. but they are always a bit off) My pants (I try to sew them up the best I can, but I got a "D" in home economics for a reason) My sweatshirt. (It zips up half way, then I have to manually insert the strip again in order for it to go the remainder) I am sure there are more... I just am doing the stuff that comes up off the top of my head.
6. Well I just finished watching Baccano! It started kinda slow for me, but I really got into it. I don't think there has ever been comedic relief characters anywhere close to as awesome as Isaac and Miria. There where many times where I busted out laughing at 3am because of them (and my horrid sleep schedule.) the story was intriguing and the characters were all pretty good in my opinion, (though I doubt I could name many of them that weren't in the opening theme-song. Oh, and I love that theme-song... so catchy...
7. Happy birthday Mr. Nosh.

I baked you a cake made of brains... but I forgot about it and it got ruined... I must have lost track of thought........... XD

8. So my xbox 360 finally broke today. I am not sure what happened, but I think something happened to the power input jack... like maybe it got fried. The first gen xbox 360's are hardly reliable,. with practically a 100% failure rate. Mine already had the red rings of death, but that was back when it was under warrenty, now it would cost me 100$ just to fix the system, when it might break again. That is way too much when I can buy a used xbox slim (a pretty good piece of machinery, unlike my junk heap) on ebay for around 150$ I might be able to salvage some parts though. My friend had a xbox from the first gen too, but when he gave it to his little brother the disk laser stopped reading games. My issue is with the power input so if I just put my disk reader in his box, I should have another 360 with no money out of my pockets. Problem is I have no idea if he kept that broken xbox 360. Tomorrow may be an interesting day.
9.
What the heck is wrong with me?! ;^;
I am sure there are a few things, but none of them are related to the ridiculous standardized tests. My sleep schedual has been pretty rediculous this week. I am up for 36 hours, sleep for 10. then up for 36 hours and sleep for another 10, and I keep going like that.. I am not sure if I can make it today though... unless I stay up until 11pm I am gonna fall short of my 36 hour mark. Its not all that fun being this tired, but I have even less fun lying in bed, unable to sleep.
10. I started playing Alice: Madness Returns. yesterday. I like the story so far, and the game is actually pretty cool looking so far (except for people. Alice and her shrink are the only two good looking people in the game,) It has a bare bones leveling system, and almost no originality gameplay wise. however they have taken elements from a bunch of really fun games and put them together. As far as platformers go, this one handles pretty well control and camera wise (although if you try to look at Alice's face, you are just gonna get a close up on her bobs,) and the jumping in this game is really simple since it gives you a quadruple jump and allows you to glide after three of them. As far as difficulty goes, it isn't tough... I haven't tried nightmare yet, but I am playing on Hard right off the bat and I rarely die, and almost never get stuck. The puzzles are simple for a seasoned Zelda vet, and the enemies are few in variety, though great in number. Also... I am almost positive I will never play this game again... not because it is bad... but because there is not enough to it. This is a rent or borrow kind of game, since you get maybe 10-12 hours of playtime tops.
11. There was a link poster not too long ago that was trying to convince us to buy solar panels. I am not a big fan of those guys but the topic had some merit. Do any of you plan on going solar in your lifetime? Do you think it is still too expensive? Do you just hate the sun? Solar power has come a long way from when it was first made. the plates are getting smaller, and the energy produced is transferred much more fluently.. The one thing that hasn't changed is that the stuff is expensive, far more expensive than electricity made from conventional means. Furthermore, do we really need to do something that gives us A: less energy and B: cost much more? Most people would probably say no, or that they simply can't do it. Others think we do need to change, since our current energy sources are not unlimited, and continuing to use them may be more than just more expensive in the long run in terms of money. The way I see it, solar power is free energy. Harnessing it is what's expensive. a lot of problems might be avoided if solar energy was used more frequently. People might not worry so much about the bills of being a homeowner if the electric bill wasn't through the roof. Solar powered cars may sound silly, but I don't like my gas bill, so any solution at all is welcome. I already have a few solar powered lamps that turn on at night time. They are pretty cool and surprisingly bright. I figure technology like this wasn't around too long ago, and certainly not affordable. I certainly couldn't afford paneling put in right now, but in the future I bet it will be easier. If I ever do get the chance, I plan on jumping on it. Moving is a problem, since you are putting a good investment in the house and you might not get it back if you leave, but I figure as long as I stay there long enough, it will be alright. I don't see this as being pretentious since I am not planning on doing it just for the environment. I think it is a smart business decision in general. There is no tax on sunlight, and that seems a lot more stable than anything else these days. So what do you guys think?
12. I want everything to stay the same. d: I do miss the Caramelldansen skin, but I think at this point asking for it won't make it happen any faster.
13. I have been playing a bit of the Battlefeild 3 Beta. I may not be the best shot in the world, but I can defib squadmates like a doctor.

I played Battlefield 3 Single Player stuff last week and I thought it all felt very natural. I never play console games, but I understood the buttons and stuff in a few seconds. Plus, it finally has a proper single player again. The AI wasn't impressive so far, and once you knife someone your knife becomes your current weapon, which can be kind of annoying, but meh. Haven't played beta yet, but this SP demo they did at cons was proper gaming.

I also think the beta was nothing special. It may have been over-hyped, and this isn't the full product... but there are quite a few graphic bugs.

14.
Planetes is awesome, too -- in my top 10, in fact! There are some goofy elements, but I love how low-key it is for the most part, and the intensity of the storyline at the end. It really is one of the greats of hard science-fiction in anime.
It is definitely making its way up on my favorites list (and keeping me up till 5am.) I am really curious as to where the story is going, and I like almost every character so far (and the ones I dislike I am pretty sure I am supposed to not like them.)
15. I feel bad that he didn't have more time. He was a genius and worked incredibly hard to get apple to where it is today. Personally I think he did the impossible.. compete against Microsoft and be successful. He is a man who had a severe impact on the world, and it was a good one.
16.
Baccano!
I have been watching it too. I am not too sure about it since it hasn't been too long since I watched DuRaRaRa!! and I keep accidentally comparing the two. I am only on episode 4 though so I am sure I have more good things to come. I am also watching PlanetES. I really like it so far, mostly because it does seem very believable for a Sci-Fi. I am only on episode 5 of that one so I have more good things to come from that series too.
17. I just beat Final Fantasy XIII again, and now I have Leona Lewis stuck in my head. Other than that, Regina Spektor has been coming up a lot whenever I put my MP3 player on random.... I honestly don't mind. 22. Happy birthday ChEe.

Hope you get even more cool stuff so that I can get jealous.

23.
If everyone else is fine with it, then I don't see a problem. However, since that means I'll have to redo the roster to account for that, so the battle timeframe will have to start on Monday, provided I get a response from everyone today (Sunday).
I don't mind. That team was pretty cool.
24. Heh, the haircut seemed pretty cute when she had a ponytail, but it did look kinda silly afterwords. So many funny moments.
