Flying isnt dangerous [unless your pilot has depression and wants to murder a bunch of people and himself] but trains are almost entirely safe. trains are still heavily used in big city subways, so I don't think its outdated. Anyways have a safe trip!

I usually just use my pen to slit the sides if I have one, but I don't always have fingernails to work with. Restaurants are picky about those.

I personally love School Rumble. I would have to pause it at times from laughing so hard. (it helps having people to watch with you, but its great solo material as well)    School settings do get a little old sometimes though, so maybe something like Princess Jellyfish might appeal to you.   If you want some excitement mixed in with your romance, I just don't know if there is anything more intense than Spice and Wolf. Oddly enough they hardly ever run into real danger, but I was always in a state of worry.   But you have probably seen all of those so I will just throw out one that you may have not seen. For that I say The World God Only Knows. Its a little weird, and you may have skipped it because it seemed to perverted (I nearly did) but it really is hilarious if you give it a shot (or at least the first 2 seasons, I have no idea why they took such a weird direction in the third)   If you have seen all of those I am sure I could come up with more. I wouldn't want you to run out of nice things to watch :D

I just hate tape on boxes. I would carry around a knife just so I don't have to deal with trying to pry em open with my hands and nails.

I want a new stabby pointy thing, but I am apparently terrible at taking care of poket knifes. My last one was accidentally put in a dish washer and never opened right again. I didn't throw it away, but I have no idea where it is now, and its not with any of my things.    I don't have any new toys yet, but my favorite toy is my Creative Zen X-Fi Style Mp3 player (yes I still use an MP3 player.)   It can play pretty much any unprotected audio file, and it uses a USB to USB2 cable so I can easily plug it into any computer and steal their music ^~^  It makes it easy for me to listen to my friends songs, and I also have a couple anime shows to watch on it if I am bored. I walk a lot... so this device gets used all the time... even right now.

Well, what kind of stories do you like? What are your current favorite shows (they don't need to be animated)   Anime is so broad in spectrum that I could give you hundreds of good titles but none of them fit you. I need a starting point.

I have been doing a lot of skill training and memorization for my new job, and I was wondering what you guys do when you try to learn new things. Everyone has a method, and though people typically like to learn in an auditory, visual, or tactile fashion, some people like myself like to learn using a mix of the learning styles.   For me, I definitely mix auditory and visual constantly. I will talk to myself while reading the same lines over and over, and I will picture doing something in my mind. I'd say I primarily am an auditory learner though I do often just use the voice in my head if its something simple. I always want to back up my memory with visual information though. Charts are very helpful, and I will be able to preform an action far better if I watch it first.    So what do you do when you need to learn something new?

I just finished reading the Chobits Manga at the library. I tried watching the anime, but it I gave up since it was a bit too ecchi for me to handle, and even though the manga had plenty of nudity I guess it just seemed less prevalent of a theme as a whole. When you get past the soft core porn aspect, the story is really quite deep and philosophical. It has a pretty compelling argument for AI  ghost in the shells, and in general all the characters have some tear jerking back-stories. My only real complaint is that the main character was so unrealistic, and that the ending was pretty non-existent. It felt more like Clamp just ran out of interesting things to talk about with the characters, rather than the story actually being over. Over all it was a pretty clever and fun manga.

I have been reading a ton of Graphic novels, and that happened to be one of em. The art id pretty cool, but the story still kinda felt like a video game side story, rather than a flushed out character. The art alone  would probably be worth the read if their is a  barns and nobles around you and 20 minutes of spare time.    Things have slown down  a bit for me so I read some more Steven King. I finished The Mist yesterday. I feel like in the end, the danger of the monsters kinda mitigated the story. At the end I just thought... They were lucky they lived as long as they did, and all of them were gonna die anyways. Other than that it was a decent read.

Unfortunately not everyone has a ton of time to write, and when you have page long posts its often a pain to have to change it or toss it because someone moved the story along. It probably wouldn't be a big deal for this though since even if you have to toss a whole post it probably is only a waste of five minutes.

Well, at least you were right about it being lipstick. If it was blood or something you might think it ominous. 

Waiting for other people to post has always been a drag for me. 

I can feel you there... Honestly I haven't seen an action anime as good as SC in forever. Fortunately I like more than just one specific genre so I am not too upset.    How about this, if I find an anime better than SC I will let you know. d:  Honestly if you aren't interested in anime, and you have other things you like spending your time on, I don't see the point in encouraging you to look into it again... which is why I really didn't intend to do it. I just figured one day something might peak your interest and you'd find your way back into this thread. I could also be wrong, but if I am, who cares?     Oh, and I just read Akuma: Origins at my local library.  I wonder if you have read it Magus? 

It does seem like the site has taken quite a few losses in terms of the old crew, but I wouldn't be surprised if everyone stopped by to visit someday, just like you did. 

You never know when the next great Samuraii action flick will come out! Just give it time.    As for action in general, there are so many underrated animes out there, I am sure you could find something. I recently watched Noragami, and loved it. Its not really samurai like, but he does have a katana, and the action was good. Also the story was interesting... which is how I define a cool story.    I'd say the first few seasons of bleach fit the cool story category, but the filler kinda made me hate the show. 

What kinda taste is it that dosen't like cool stories? There are so many animes out there that odds are you will like it if you gave it a chance. Maybe right now is just not a good time.

So, two days in a row with plane crashes on the news. Fortunatly both were non lethal accedents.   I dunno what I would have done if Han Solo died. Spock was almost unbearable as it is.

If people just took a step back and looked into the vast depths of space maybe they'd realize how minimal their existance really is. Who is going to care what government system a country has 200 years from now. All of this is just goimg to be a chapter in the history books... nothing more. People need to find a better cause to fight for.

Heh, I know where you are coming from. I would chop the water to make a 'ice wall' that was supposed to block attacks. I am more fond of us playing Sonic & Knuckles with him. We would run around collecting Chaos Emeralds that looked a lot like marbles, and dramatically fight Dr Robotnic and his horde of machines.

Sounds like that should be what I watch next. I am 53 episodes into Childs Toy and I need a break. There are just too many cheap shot feels. My heart cant take it.
