1. I love your closing statement, and in general everything you said, except I do think radical muslims twisted the religion. I also am not totally sure violence isn't part of the religion, but they weaponized it and pointed it at the USA, Isreal, and Christians in general. Budist monks are infidels as well, but no one is attacking them. Basicly they are just shifting the religion to have more control and a true scapegoat. All of that kinda misses the main thing I wanted to talk about though. The situation obviously calls for military action at times, but we have general 'see terrorist, blow up terrorist' polocy, and the only way we wont kill them is if they stop practicing their crazy religion... which happens to be pretty much what they want from us. I know its a loose correlation, but I feel like its good enough to question ourselves. If we are justified, they are too in my opinion.
2. So I had my first gym visit today. [a little late, but moving was a bigger pain than I thought] I definitly have a lot of work to do, but I am sure I could do it if I take enough time. Right now I have zero muscles and zero muscle stamina, so I ended up doing the lightest setting on all the equipment, the 5-10lb free weights and I just did it ton of reps. I only did abs and arms today, yet I worked out from 10:00-1:45. I didn't really get a super deep burn, but my arms were so tired washing my hair felt like a work out. As for cardio, I am just gonna walk for four miles today. I wanna use the gym stuff but I'd have to walk either way, and I need running shoes.
3. Start the machine, remove the metal, replace the material, repeat. If touching the warm metallic material didn't feel so good this would be really boring. There was that one guy who came in on... what was it... Monday? Whatever... he's dead now.  Soon I will have enough of this stuff to make something useful.  I know how to shoot a few different guns, but I like seeing peoples faces explode, so I think I will go for a sniper rifle. I haven't seen a head explode before, but that doesn't mean I don't wanna see one explode, Exploding heads probably look really cool. Oh, the metal is done.  Weaponization of technology is the main focus of my boss, so it isn't hard to find a gunsmith right in the same building, and with a little bit of persuasion, I will have my big gun.    its so bright today. The blue, cloudless sky makes it easy see everyone on the city streets, but the humidity is brutal. I don't know how much more of this I can take. From the rooftop its quite easy to see the panic my new sniper rifle is causing... but the head exploding is far less fun than watching people kill each other after nonlethal blows. My favorite was shooting that mother in the leg. I can't believe she chucked her own baby at someone! Hilarious!    So far the stand off with the police is going nowhere. All I need to do is shoot one and they all panic, but nothing lasts forever... Maybe I should just shoot myself. I mean... if I have to go, I may as well have my head explode... I really like head explosions.    Just as I was fumbling the rifle around trying to figure out how point it at myself as well as pull the trigger, a man approached. I couldn't tell why he was here, but he was no police officer.  Geist representatives don't exactly have a dress code.
4. I had no idea it had a moral to the story... makes sense though.
5. My conservative grandfather sent me a video of Newt Gingrich talking about the "war" on Islam and how we should seek out and destroy all radical muslim groups.   Now, I don't agree with ISIS or any other similar group but Gingrich's reason for this all out assault is because he believes there is no chance of getting along with them since they either want us dead or converted.   My grandfather, as well as many other people I have met agree, and some want more agressive actions like nuking the middle east. In my opinion, this justifies the terrorist groups cause by that same logic. Apparently a large portion of America is dead set on killing all of you... so attacking them is okay?   What do you guys think about that statement?
6. I think I could do cycling at the gym, but I'm gonna have to skip the having sex with my mother part.
7. So far I am 700 eggs in with another 300 to go before the odds say I should get my shiny pokemon. I have a 33% chance a crutial stat will get hit, rendering it unusable for battles, and I have to walk three miles to get the 4xO-Power bonus to speed up hatching. All this for an animation and a color swap.   Games make us want to do stupid things sometimes. The things you have to do aren't even fun or chalenging, but you do it anyways even though you know its pretty meaningless.   I payed for skins on LoL, got every heart piece in every zelda game (on basicly every play through), got every armor piece on Halo 3 (and unlocked all its achievements), I beat every optional boss in FFX, XII, XIII and now in XIII-2, I would reset the Fire Emblem Awakening save just to read all the different marriage texts, I collect every outfit in any game with a character creator so I can pick my favorite, and I overlevel every RPG character until fighting isn't even fun anymore.   What stupid stuff do you do in games?
8. Its not anime so I can't say I watched every episode (or started the last season) but I thought the premise was great and everyone is hilllarious.  I also think Rashida Jones is amazing looking... which is just more reason to watch the show. House of Cards is more of my type of show... and no comedy ever seems to hit the depth of Dead Like Me, but right now Parks is the best recent comedy IMO.
9. That would be cool. I do find the sad parts have real meaning behind them... unlike some really sad stuff like Grave of the Fireflies and Magnitude 8.0. Rewatching it wouldn't be a waste of time.
10. I will do my best! but I figure its much harder to do if you don't really want the change. Besides, if you are comfortable with the way things are there is no reason to force yourself.
11. Splashing is kinda like arm cannons. I probably did a similar thing with DBZ and my cousin.
12. Whenever I plug in a charger I always say "Jack in! Power up!" if a friend is around.
13. Hmmm...  well I still want to try it out... not that I don't believe you. I am just not sure if tired and sore = feeling bad... but you may be right. If I can get to a level where I just need to maintain rather than build I think it might get easier too... but I really have no idea. I start next week though on the first! ^~^   I wish I had a buddy to do it with... but I may be doing this late at night, and I doubt any of my friends would treat it as seriously as I am going to... and I'd feel bad for leaving them behind. As for a personal trainer... well... I am not spending any more money... and I am gonna be doing odd hours. I will just have to push myself. Besides... I can brag more if I solo the gym on hard mode right?   As for my hobbies, I will still have 21 hours to be a lazy asshole. I would still call that a seditary lifestyle. If I want a stupid rifle I will sit down and get it (I have better things to do than upgrade it though) and if I wanna watch all of the R.O.D. Movie for the 50th time I will do that too... All I am losing is a small fraction of my free time. Besides... now that I don't care about my  LOL rank I have time to spare.   And Destiny is on the previous gen consoles and PS4 as well... not that I recomend playing it. Wait, Destiny has its own thread! Use a different time sink!
14. You seem to know a lot about it.   Anyways I am not planning on quitting, at least not until I see results, but after that I might stop if its hard and I don't feel much better.   Also I probably am gonna keep a seditary lifestyle either way... a three hour per day gym visit won't change my hobies.
15. I suppose I am just looking for ways to justify spending money I could be saving.  As for buying my own equipment... I don't really have the space to store it, let alone a spot to comfortably work out. Besides, 19 bucks a month isn't terrible, so long as I go there a lot... and unlike buying my own equipment I can cancel my membership if I can't do it.   Thanks for the tips! I definitly will go in with a game plan.
16. I don't think my roommates would let me hear the end of it if I played Just Dance. I am not really worried about weight anyways. I walk about 15 miles per week so I have some cardio training already. I am more interested in having muscle... which I have never really had before.
17. I was mostly just stating my opinions as if they were facts. I actually don't totally agree with all that I said anyway since in ME3 the only fun part about sentinals is the tech armor + another armor feat tank mode. Infiltrator is probably the most fun I had taking all three games into account. (tac cloak in ME3 was easily the most fun power)
also did you actually kill Wrex? (or choose to not recruit him) I thought Wreav was an interesting character since he was smart, but bloodthirsty and powerhungry. If Wrex is alive, genophage seems cruel and unneeded, but Wreav looks like he is on the warpath. Basicly the decision actually has the fitting catch 22 vibe that doesn't exist with Wrex at the helm.
18. I have been thing about getting into shape recently. I don't think I look terrible right now, but I have never really been "fit" before... so I kinda wanna see how that feels. I also like testing my determination, and I hear it takes a lot of willpower to go to the gym. Also I think they have showers there so I can get a lower water bill.   Do any of you guys do the gym thing? Any advice?
19. Collosis armor always looks cool, and if you read my post about ME1 you would definitly have it from beating the Bringing Down The Sky DLC (which does slightly effect ME3)  Also, other than assault rifles and immunity Soldier class is boring, and in ME2 its just easymode. Never run out of ammo and become a timelord... seems fair. -.- Sentinal is definitly the most fun and diverse class.   Also I wish the council appointment meant something. In ME2 you can change your mind and the lines said are almost the same, and in ME3 it has zero impact... though when you think about it... your decisions involving Wrex are the only onescwith a big impact (which I doubt many players actually tried)     Anyways I am currently trying to breed a shiny Espurr in pokemon. I don't know why... but when I am done I might play Fire Emblem Awakening again.
20. Some things never change. I keep hearing how good it is, but when I watched the first three episodes I didn't see anything that stood out. I doubt I am the demographic they were going for, but that doesn't typically stop me.
21. I remember wanting to win one of those... then when I saw who won I didn't care anymore. d:
22. Reading old comments is so TOTALLY OtakuBoards.
23. Do you count the new 3ds xl a current gen console... cause it seems awesome.
24. Netflix has some pretty solid animes at the moment. :D
25. Almost 5 years ago! also you picked my Naruto, which just keeps getting better. :]
