I was a fan of the anime/cartoon and have a few action figures. I am really looking forward to this movie, specially since imagi is behind it. Here is a brief synopsis: Set in futuristic Metro City, Astro Boy is about a young robot with incredible powers created by a brilliant scientist named Tenma (Nicolas Cage). Powered by positive ?blue? energy, Astro Boy (Freddie Highmore) is endowed with super strength, x-ray vision, unbelievable speed and the ability to fly. Embarking on a journey in search of acceptance, Astro Boy encounters many other colorful characters along the way. Through his adventures, he learns the joys and emotions of being human, and gains the strength to embrace his destiny. Ultimately learning his friends and family are in danger, Astro Boy marshals his awesome super powers and returns to Metro City in a valiant effort to save everything he cares about and to understand what it takes to be a hero.

Currently watching Air Gear & Gunslinger Girl. I am reading Naruto.

My faves are: Thee Michelle Gun Elephant, Asian Kung-Fu Generation, & Meister.

Well, the question that no one has asked is - do you like her? If you have feelings for her then just ask her out, don't waste your time trying to decipher her body language. If she turns you down, then just say it was a joke - maybe she'll laugh along with you and not at you...:animeswea

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned BECK: Mongolian Chop Squad. This anime has some of the catchiest songs I have ever heard. Face, I've Got a Feeling, Moon On The Water, Hit In The USA (opening) to name a few. My other favorite is: Naruto - Haruka Kanata.

As a proud parent of two girls (11yrs & 14yrs), I am proud of the fact that they are into anime/manga as much as I am. We sit down and watch anime about 3-4 times a week and read manga when we get a chance. I don't understand why some parents deprive their children out of watching anime. Right now they're all into Shugo Chara. I personally can't get enough of BECK:MCS!:animesmil
