There would be a tie between my Fullmetal Alchemist Jacket and my Bleach Hollow Mask Necklace. The jacket I have had since, as I recall, 2004. The zipper came off ages ago and a friend burned a hole just under the hood. The thumb holes are coming apart but it gives it a unique look. The Hollow Mask Necklace is just spiff. :]

I have a hard time posting here anymore. I blame my odd childhood and my constantly hiding out on the forum to escape real life. I recently cut Anime and World of Warcraft out of my life. I also attempted to quit smoking but that was way too hard to do at once. I am slowly falling back into WoW but I am holding up well against Anime.

Normally when I read threads like this on other forums, I tend to tell whoever is having trouble in their relationship to keep trying if there seems to be only one or two things making it go wrong. However, there are some things that make it too difficult to encourage that and your boyfriend has set off one of those red flags, but you are both still young so it could be a misconception. When he talks about not getting married, it means that he just has trouble with commitment like most men do. Don't take the comment 'it would have to be a perfect girl; someone different' to heart. If you were older I would say that he isn't worth the effort but considering your age (and that he is around yours as well), he is just unsure. These years are the hardest to deal with because your becoming an adult and knowing what you want is a hard thing to decide. Since you say you are his first girlfriend, he just may not know how to treat you like one. When I had my first girlfriend I treated her more like a best friend which ended up ruining the relationship. It's one of the lessons of life and it helps you later on should things not work out right. Really, I would say try for a bit longer and let him know you are serious. If he cannot commit, then I say to tell him goodbye. It's not easy, it won't be a clean cut, but it may need to be done. If he realizes how he has been acting then things could be saved, but then it comes down to his moving away. If you want to try a long distance relationship, then by all means try. Just know how hard it will be knowing that the one you love is across the country. I hope that whatever you choose to do, you do it with the faith that what you are doing is right. Once you reach that point, never wonder about what could have happened. It's hard not to but if you choose to dwell on it you could harm yourself more than you know. Take cautious steps and make sure to listen to your heart. In the end, if it doesn't work out, at least you know you did what you believed was right.

I am seriously a cat person. I like how when they're tired they'll curl up in a ball and either lay on you or beside you. So cute. However, what is not cute is when they decide to pierce your skin repeatedly in order to soften where they want to sit. Although I love cats to death I just don't like the fact of having an animal knowing that I will outlive them by a longshot. That kitten up there passed away on April 3rd from cancer. =(

Otakupedia Entries/Suggestions/Discussion thread

I actually need my entry fixed since Nerdsy decided to add a final line that is way in left feild. "Cruizr has the miserable dictinction of having met Shift. However, to his credit, he has also met Nerdsy as well." I've met both of them and enjoyed myself quite a bit when I did. This line obviously came directly from Nerdsy who severely dislikes Shift while I myself do not. If that could be removed/fixed that would be great. ^_^ -
Even though this topic has been strung out for awhile.. I would have to nominate Heaven's Cloud as well. We've both been around for a bit, but our time is done. Actually, I have no idea when you first joined but as for myself, I'm not even quite sure why I came back quite yet. So to wrap things up, the dead should remain dead.. Vote for Heaven's Cloud. Go away! =D -Cruiz

I have to bring up the
Hughes Death
from FMA as well. That was one of the very few instances in an anime where I actually teared up and almost cried.
They went through the series, introduced us to this great familiy man that was humourous, serious, and very involved with his family. The moment we started falling I had trouble holding back the tears. The hardest part though was when Gracia started crying during his funeral followed by Mustang.. It was almost too much.
-Cruiz

Top Tier 1. Death Note - I found out about this Anime about 3 months before it came to the US and began watching fansubs until it started playing on [as]. The story of how a brilliant mind comes into possesion of a book of unimaginable power and is then the focus of a manhunt.. It was a briilliant one indeed. 2. Fullmetal Alchemist - One of the best rounded Anime's out there. When an Anime can make you cry (i.e. Hughes Death), you know you have something right there. I'm usually not the fan of overly powered teenagers/youth much anymore, but this one I can say I will always love for the deep story. 3. Shippuden - I really disliked the first part of Naruto for the simple fact, like I said, kids being overly powered. Yes, I know their still youngsters, but at least their older. It has an interesting story but there are way too many fillers.. At least that's my only complaint, lol. Great series nontheless. 4. Outlaw Star - It's hard to pass up the older Anime. In fact, I own the entire series on DVD. It had an interesting story and I really couldn't find anything wrong with it. C'mon.. Ctarl Ctarl? Cat women are shmexy. =3 5. Neon Genisis Evangalion - Giant fighting biological robots.. How can you argue with the traditional Anime? Yes, I know that giant robots are played out, but with an Anime like this you hardly notice it. Also.. Wait, people would call me a pedophile so I won't say a word about Asuka, lmao. Honorable Mention Elven Lied - First Aniem to ever make me squimish and I've seen a few. The first time I saw a battle I nearly got sick. I suppose the only part that really got me was the fight where there were fingers sliced off.. I don't take that kind of violence very well.

I started college this fall and blew it off like it was going to be easy. Well, finals time came around and I jacked around some more and guess where it landed me.. Yeah, I failed half my classes.. There's some money down the drain right there. I am so confused on my grade in one class though. I got all A's and B's regardless of being lazy and failed my final because it was a group project and my partner only showed up for 1 of the 6 classes to work on the project. Now, I think it should have been taken into consideration that a project that in some groups there were 3 people working on it and having trouble and I was moreless a group of 1 would be a little difficult to do. Yeah, it was unfinished, but what did the teacher expect? =P Warcraft screwed me up bad this semester. -Cruiz

It is just a coincidence that it was used, like everyone else said. The L that is being used is indeed an older English one that could be used for anything. I can understand why you would think that and yes, the timing is interesting considering that Death Note has just recently made its way into the US, but regardless, it is still one of those things that happen. -Cruiz

Otakupedia Entries/Suggestions/Discussion thread

Would it be self-centered to want to see myself in the Otakupedia? Hehe. Notable Information: - Joined October 28th of 2000 - Moderator of Gamecube Section - Dragonball/Z/GT Quizzes that stumped even the forum moderator, TN - Dragonball/Z/GT RPGs - Editor of the Yu-Gi-Oh! section on the main site - Fall from grace in a battle against James, resulting in deletion - Met both Nerdsy and Shift in real life [That's worth something, hehe] I could go on, but I feel as if I would be wasting everyone elses time, hehe. -
Seems like the perfect event to reintroduce myself into the Otakuboards. ^_^ I wonder if I shall still linger afterwards. It has been quite a while since I was a dedicated poster, but that is not of importance at the time I suppose. I will take the boards by storm in this event.

Strange nicknames given and received and how did you get them
Yukazi replied to ChibiHorsewoman's topic in General Discussion
Let me see, let me see... Cruiz - This nickname was given to me by my best friend back in 1997 when we were hardcore into wrestling. He originally made it for himself as a ring name, but passed it on to me. We now call eachother Cruiz and Phrost Byte, which confuses people to no end. Hades - People at school are afraid of me, and some even believed that I may truely be an evil entity, so they began to call me Hades. There are even a few among them that refer to me as "Lord Hades", which scares me to no end. Melvin - I am a hardcore Office Space fan, and love Melvin... However, it was given to me by one of my friends for no apparent reason. I was Melvin, she was Rei. Sue Ellen - Some girls at school were talking about wanting to know a boy named Sue, so I jumped on that and was named. Sue Belvin - A mixture of Sue Ellen, Melvin, and my real name, Brent. I made it up for chuckles, and some people actually called me by that. Wakka - Yes, yes... Wakka from FFX. Rei wished to be called Rikku, and began calling me Wakka, so I went for it. :P Freak - Sister just calls me that for the heck of it. -
I remember watching a few episodes of this a fewmo nths back on Starz on Demand. I had just woke up and it was 5 PM; Nothing else to do so I checked the Anime section and there were eipsodes 7 - 11. I watched them all, not really paying attention to the story-line... As I was really out of it still from sleeping so long. Since I hadn't seen the first 6 episodes, I was a LITTLe lost, but I caught on. It seems to be very well made, and the storyline is quite good from what I paid attention to. My friend, however, wasn't very interested in it and said it was stupid... But whatever; To each his own. I like all anime. ^_^

Need help with a costume you are working on? Missing a key detail or just having trouble? Ask here! Now, don't ask me directly, because I have no clue what I am doing. I just have a question, and I decided to make it where others could ask as well. I have been wanting to take part in the whole cosplay thing for quite some time now, but it just hasn't been in my budget. However, Lately I have had some money left over and wish to take part in an upcoming event dressed as the oh-so-popular Kakashi. I currently have the entire outfit, as well as a Sharingan Eye contact, but there is a snag. I can't seem to make a realistic looking scar. I have heard of a few differant things to try, but it makes my eye burn even when I don't get anything in it and it's not up to my standards. Does anyone have any advice on a few things I could try? If you haven't given it a look yet, I would suggest Love Hina. I have purchased and read the entire series and it is well worth a look. If you have read into it, Perhaps you should go for Priest, but I caution that you have to REALLY be into it within the first half of the first book, or you will not like it. If you've read those two, or aren't interested... Go for the old fashioned Trigun and Trigun Maximum Manga. (Also, Reading Love Hina may case a :animenose if your easily excited by what it has... It did not affect me in such a way, but... I have had a few friends whom it did. :animesmil )
