  1. I text a lot, even though it's only one person. But I was raised in the south, and I think manners are pretty important. I mean, I'm a laid back guy. If I'm hanging out with friends at a fast food place or some Mexican restaurant, who cares who's texting who? When it's a family dinner (not that I have any of those) or a nice restaurant or something, you can keep your phone in your pocket for 30 Fuc-maybe I shouldn't curse, there seems to be a lot of younguns around. You get the idea though. Thankfully, I don't have any kids and no plans to make any. If I did, you can bet they'd have at least some basic manners.
  2. I guess I should have joined sooner eh? I was there. 'twas quite a fun year. I'll also be at Anime Day Atlanta, or whatever it is in november.
  3. This pic isn't too new, but I already had the link copypasta'd so I'm posting it. I'm long brown hair. It was taken at a zoo if you want to know. 4. Subs, no question. Decent dubs are very rare to find. I guess I can see why slow readers would prefer dubbing, but I don't have that problem. Generally I'll watch an anime in dub with subtitles on when I first get it, just to see how they compare. I will say, that I'll watch dubs when watching an anime with other people up in someone's room or something. That way you can still talk, go get snacks, do other things..and still get the gist of what's happening in the anime.
  5. Too many of these are far too mainstream to be in this thread Two entries from me here. First, my name sake. Infinite Ryvius. One of the all-time best animes in my opinion, but not very well-known among the masses. Sort of a Lord of The Flies situation, but in space. It got amazing story and character development, but maybe not enough action and fanfare for most of you guys. Serious anime for the most part. Second, Scrapped Princess. Ties with Ryvius for my favorite anime. It's based off light novels, which are amazing. The series isn't nearly as good as the novels, but it's still good enough to be a damn amazing anime. You guys will probably dig this more than Ryvius, as it has it's share of action and sweet fight scenes.
  6. Sup guys. It's me Ryvius. You know you love it. Those of you that have been foruming around the internet for a while might recognize my name. Or maybe you just recognize me from somewhere recent. Or maybe you think my name is James Sunderland because of a halloween theme, it doesn't really matter. I'm into lots of stuff, standard nerd things. Games, anime, writing, roleplaying. Oh god roleplaying. I got super bored, and I've heard far too much about this place so I decided to stop by. Can't guarantee I'll stick around, but I might if it strikes my fancy.
