EDIT: Oh and about your time line Sandy... Macey left the hospital on day seven not eight.
Not that this matters anything, but I beg to differ.
Eva began her descent of the stairs and was surprised to see Macey standing in the hallway with Harrison and Victoria Ann. She smiled brightly and rushed down to embrace her twin tightly. ?Omigosh, Ella! When did you get back? You didn?t sneak out without them knowing did you? How are Uncle Daedalus and Fonty? And where are you three going?? she rushed, releasing her from the tight grip. ?I arrived this morning. No I didn?t sneak out of the hospital. And there?s been no change in Uncle and Fonty. As for the three of us? We?re going to the Chimaera Cup, as are you.?
It was agreed in this thread that James' post happened a day after the incident with the bomb (to give the characters time to recover, I guess), and Sakura's post started the events of the following morning (continued by you).
On a side note Sandy, should that not say Fontleroy and Daedalus released from Eshe Rehema on Day Eight ?
How come? Macey was released in the morning (according to Sakura's post), and Harriet came to fetch Daedalus home (in indifference's post), but Fauntleroy hasn't been released, so he plans on escaping with the help of Charles (in Shy's post). ;D

Thanks for clearing that up, Mary. ;D Just for clarity's sake, I'll put a little timeline here depicting the major events since the start of the game:
Day 1: Leonhart's meeting with the Dynast King. Leonhart's Birthday Banquet at the evening. Day 2: Leonhart and Macey visit Prometheo Laboratories, which is subsequently attacked by the Underdogs. Leonhart goes missing. Macey takes Gadget to Rosengard. Day 3: Incident at CHAOS with Headmaster Moebius. Bavaria arrives to Rosengard. The Deacons have a dinner with the Dynasty. Day 4: Skipped. Day 5: Skipped. Day 6: Leonhart's Memorial Service. A bomb is brought into Rosengard by the Underdogs. The bomb is defused in the night. Daedalus, Macey and Fauntleroy are taken to Eshe Rehema. Day 7: Gustave arrives late in the night. Day 8 (Present Day): Chimaera Cup begins. Macey and Daedalus are released from Eshe Rehema, and Fauntleroy escapes.
If anyone has a differing view on how the events have unfolded, please say so. ;D

James: I really thought we had moved on to the next morning already, but that was probably because of Sakura's post. And the fact that the Aerodrome was full of people, which it probably wouldn't be at the dead of the night. Anyway, I'm confused about what day it is now, since the bombing happened on the same day as the funeral (Gadget and Vincent spent that night together, remember, before heading to Rosengard somewhere after midnight). So... Did you move to the next night already, skipping the whole day? Well, maybe it's just me who's confused, heh. XP If anyone has some idea about what day it is in the game, do tell.
HIMAS stands for His Imperial Majesty's Airship by the way.
Nice invention, but who's the Imperial Majesty? Czenovia's not an empire... But I'll leave it at that, I don't want to nitpick on such trifle details (well, not anymore, at least). Speaking of which, I fixed the gender confusion in my post, D'Ann. ;D

I'm not entirely sure what Vincent and Gadget were supposed to be doing after the meeting with Gustave, but they won't be going to the races today. I think Vincent should be at work, since the Police Guards are most likely investigating the incident now. And the landmark note is an important clue to the case. Vincent can drop Gadget off at the medical center before going to work, so he can reunite with Macey.

He had only seen the interior of the High Czenoble Aerodrome once before, when he had escaped from the laboratory with Macey, but the events of that day about a week ago were all blurry to him. All the hustle and bustle of hundreds of people made his head spin. And all those airships looked so majestic up close! In his past they were but large shadows plying through the thick smog above the factories. "You seemed to like the Aerodrome", Vincent remarked, giving him a nudge. Gadget nodded eagerly. "Then I'm sure you'll love the Chimaera Circuit. I'll take you to see the finals in a few days. Hopefully Macey will be up and about by then so she can join us." "Huh? Why?" Gadget asked. Why did Vincent suddenly want to spend time with his ex-wife? A new kind of sensation stung his chest. "Oh, I'm a born aristocrat, my dear. I know how to play the Game of Hearts. Macey is in dire need of a man in her life after the misery I caused her, and Gustave, on the other hand... He could use some stability to his bachelor life." Gadget chuckled. "Well, if it's stability you're looking for, I don't think Macey's the choice..." "Oh Gadget, you're so horrible", Vincent sighed, but then started to laugh from the bottom of his stomach. Gadget laughed with him, and the stinging feeling of jealousy was replaced by sheer joy. As the laughter subsided, Vincent ruffled Gadget's longish blonde hair, and put his arm around the younger man's shoulder. "I don't think I've asked you this after last night, but are you alright?" Vincent asked suddenly. "I know you care about Macey. She'll be alright, you can count on that." Gadget muttered an agreement. Truthfully, he hadn't given Macey much thought after he had gone with Vincent. He was almost sorry that their night had been interrupted by the bomb in Rosengard... A sudden bolt of realization struck him. He reached to his jacket pocket, and pulled out the note he had found on the cellar floor. "What's that?" Vincent asked. "I found it in Rosengard last night. I went to check the basement after the incident, and this was lying on the floor there. It's a poem of sorts, or perhaps a lyric to some song. Can you make any sense out of it?" Vincent took the note and read it. "From the middle of the sea... It must be a riddle. But why would the bombers leave something like this behind?" Gadget shrugged. He thought he didn't have the brains to solve any riddles, so it was best to leave it to smart people like Vincent. All Gadget wanted was to always feel as safe as he felt at that moment.

Since Josh didn't mention anything about Fonty keeping the note he found from the cellar before getting shot by Donner Stark, I thought Gadget would pick it up. It is a landmark, after all, and as such has importance to the story, so it mustn't be forgotten. ;D Also, Gadget seems to be playing Little Detective's Helper, apparently. Feel free to snap him out of it anytime, James. XP

Gadget was horrified to hear what had happened in Rosengard. If something was to happen to Macey, he wouldn't know what to do. He could now manage a much longer time without an injection, but he still needed Macey's help to survive. Vincent told Gadget to stay put on the front yard of the mansion, but when Vincent didn't return for a while, Gadget followed him. Coincidentally, he went upstairs to search for Macey and Vincent, so he missed them both as they went outside. When he returned downstairs, he saw smoke billowing from the basement. Covering his mouth, he went down to see the damage caused by the bomb. He crouched on the floor of the corridor to avoid the smoke, but his eyes caught a piece of paper lying on the floor. It was a bit charred, but still readable. Who could've left such a note? The poem was mystifying, but Gadget was sure that Vincent could solve it. Or Macey. They both were much smarter than he was, anyway. But Gadget was smart enough to know that the bomb couldn't have appeared to the wine cellar all by itself. And since no one could have smuggled it through the house filled with servants and guests, it must've been brought in from below the ground. Gadget smiled by himself. Spending time with a police guard seemed to have an effect on him.
He's lived through worse conditions in the Mine Wars, something I'd like to explore with Josh and Sandy's permission.
Feel free to explore Daedalus's experiences during the Mine War through a flashback, or even write a Chronicle about it. Brigit Town has not yet been properly incorporated into the game, so it's about time for that. ;D
I love the morbidity of the first one, but sadly that's probably not going to be held over in the cropped version.
The first picture is shot from behind the woman. There's not much potential for a "face-shot" there. ;D By the way, is the attached geezer suitable for portraying Lector Moebius? What do you guys think? Yes, he's from the same game as the woman portraying Bavaria; the game is called GrimGrimoire.

Josh: I'll make the adjustments on the Family Tree once we decide on the changes. ;D D'Ann: I'd say go with the third picture, it fits Macey as well as the theme of this game the best.
-
Well, I'd say that Dawlish and Jacob - as well as Nellie - are still in existance, but you don't need to feel obliged to drag them with your storyarch, since they have been seemingly abandoned by their players. Let's just say that they all live outside Rosengard, and prefer to stick to themselves. ;D
-
Of course the RPG can stay open, why would we have anything against that? ;D I just think you have to find new players for this game, Gecko, since to this day, no-one has been able to do an RPG on their own. Maybe it was too early to create the actual game thread yet, though? But I hope you'll get enough people to play with you!
-
And I thought I was being the rude one here. XP Give the poor guy a break, D'Ann - he couldn't have known about your plans. And Malkav, I'd do what she says if I were you; even though D'Ann seems to despise Bavaria, the two of them have a lot in common. XD Anyway, I finally posted. It wasn't as mature as I would've have wanted it to be, but everyone can imagine the events taking place after my post if they so wish. ;D

The night was clear and brisk, and the view from the balcony Vincent's penthouse was astonishing. Magitechnological lanterns illuminated the streets and parks of High Czenoble, and the moon's light reflected from the clouds of smog below the city. Gadget felt fortunate to be with Vincent instead of down there amidst the smoke and pollution. Vincent brought him a cup of steaming herbal tea. "Anova's finest quality, I assure you", Vincent said with a wink. He was unusually playful this night. Gadget couldn't help but to chuckle. "What's so amusing?" the older man inquired. "Everything in your flat is top quality, Vincent! I'm not used to being around this much fanciness." "I'll make sure you'll get use to it. I want nothing but best for you... Gadget", Vincent said, taking a sip from the tea. But it was still hot and burned his lips. Gadget giggled again. "Here, let me take care of that for you." He quickly rose on his toes and kissed the man's sore lip. "Did that help?" Vincent was red all over. Gadget didn't know where his audacity came from either - it had just felt so right at that moment. "Yes, thank you." "Why are you blushing like a maiden over a little snog? I thought you had plenty of experience with Macey..." Gadget teased. "This is different, my boy. You see, we're both men, and..." "So what? I've always felt much more comfortable around other blokes, if you know what I mean", Gadget said, and this time it was his turn to wink. "I lived with a few dozen of them, remember, and if you thought nothing ever happened, then you're badly mistaken." Vincent blushed even more, if that was even possible. "Let's get inside, it's getting cold out here." But Gadget could see that Vincent was anything but cold. They finished their teas in front of a fireplace, and suddenly Gadget felt himself exhausted. Vincent had prepared a guest bedroom for him, but Gadget laid his head on the man's lap instead. Not bothering to wake him up, Vincent stroked Gadget's hair until his breathing steadied. Then he lifted him to his arms and carried him to his own king-sized bed. Gadget, pretending to be asleep, couldn't help but to grin widely.

Excuse me for having a life to live. XP But I will post today, promise. Although I don't know how it affects other people's postings, since I'm only going to post about Gadget and Vincent... :/
-
Dame Grimalkin and Henry are leaving Rosengard for sure. Bavaria is the head of the house now, so it's her call. And no matter how Bavaria handled the situation, Dame Grimalkin was Leonhart's mistress and Henry their illegitimate child. So it's understandable why Bavaria wants them out.
-
Sorry for my lack of posting, I've been trying to catch up with my school work. Damned last spring... Anyway, I will post about Gadget's time at Vincent's place soon. I'll try to steer away from X-rated stuff... ;P
-
I did not expect to see Yoda and Darth Vader as guest characters at all - I was honestly waiting for Jack Sparrow when they revealed that there would be a guest from a "favorite sword-buckling movie series" - but it's not as big a deal as some crazies in some unnamed gaming message boards make it out to be. I'm not saying that I think sci-fi characters fit in the SC universe, though, cause they look totally out of place. But they don't bother me either. Nobody's forcing anyone to play with them, anyway. ;D I for one am excited to see how the cuddly Yoda plays - if it's anything like his battle against Count Dooku in Episode II, I'm sold!
-
I thought it fit well with "Changing the Guard". I believe the next landmark is up really soon, so why don't we start the next "chapter" then? ;D
-
Actually, I was thinking that instead of discovering a way to reverse the injections, the twins would find out why Gadget survived the experiments. The cure was just a plot device to get Eva into the mix, really. But I'll PM about it to you guys soon, so I won't spoil anything to the big crowd. ;D
-
Ah, how did humankind ever survive without big screens? Those people were totally lost without them. XD
-
I'd imagine Leonhart's property is dealt evenly among his spouse and children, with the exception that Daedalus will become the president of Magitech Corporation (since he shared the ownership with Leonhart). Also remember that there are still characters that refuse to believe Leonhart is dead, since there is no body. But Bavaria has influence only on the servants, she can't kick out family members. And Macey will make sure that Gadget isn't going anywhere. Eh, right, D'Ann? *sweatdrop*

It's very possible for Alecia and Alexander to house Dame Grimalkin and Henry for the time being. ;D
