offgame: Thousands of thanks, BB, for joining the game!!! Well, guys, I hope you all have enjoyed this game, because... it's almost over now! offgame: Sorry, the cursed LoveSan-worm hit my dear computie, and I haven't been able to access the net at home. But luckily Finnish libraries offer free web-usage! :D Yes, now's the time for the final challenge, so please read this post throroughly! I swear in my name that all the answers are directly copied&pasted from your answers. Here we go... * * * Cid leads Auron, Cecil and Zell back onboard of the Ragnarok. Cid: ?We are leaving shortly, so prepare yourselves.? Auron: ?Where are we headed, if I may ask? Cid: ?Oh, you?ll see...? Ragnarok, the Red Lightning speeds across the nightly sky of Spira. But soon it begins to descend towards a bright light. The competitors gather in front of the front window. Zell: ?Whoa! What is that place?? Cecil: ?Such bright lights... And so many people! It reminds me of Gold Saucer.? Auron: ?It is Luca Stadium, where they play Blitzball. But it?s different now...? Cid: ?Yep, cause I changed it! My Survivors, it is time for your Final Challenge, and it is held here, at the Luca Stadium!? The airship lands on a stage built in the middle of the stadium, and it?s passengers step out, welcomed by overwhelming cheers from the masses of audience. Cid leads them to sit on three chairs which all have a large sphere placed in front of them. Then he walks to a stand and grabs a microphone. Cid: ?People of Spira and beyond! May I have your attention, please? I want to welcome each and everybody of you to watch the thrilling Final Challenge of Final Fantastic Survivor!!! From the ten people who started this game only three remain, and after this event, two of them will move onto the last phase, where one of them will be nominated as the Most Final Fantastic Survivor! But now, let me announce the competitors: First, we have the easy-going martial artist Zell! Second, is the honored paladin Cecil! And third, I present you the legendary Crimson Warrior, Auron! Now, onto the rules: I will ask you ten questions and an extra one. The winner is simply the one with most right answers. But as this is the last challenge you?ll face in this competition, I expect the answers to be perfect, understood? Now, prepare yourselves, people, it is time for Who wants to be a Survivor?!? Cid turns to the three competitors. The spheres in front of them start to glow. ?Please use the spheres in front of you for giving the answer. First question: Name the parents of Aeris!? The survivor-candidates ponder for a while, and then grab the spheres to give their answers. ?Are everybody ready? I?ll read your answers now. *Zell: ?Professor Gast and Infalna.? *Cecil: ?Aeris' parents' names are Ilfana and Prof. Gast? *Auron: ?Her biological parents are Prof. Gast and Ifalno. Her adoptive mother is Elmyra.? The correct answer is ?Professor Gast and Ifalna?. Everybody spelled Ifalna wrong, so no points!? Zell: ?Huh?! It?s just one letter!? Cid: ?But that one letter prevents the answer for being perfect. Onto the next question! Second Question: Who/What is the best Synthesizer, where do you find him/her/it? Answers: *Zell: ?--PASS--? *Cecil: ?Hades, who you find in Memoria? *Auron: ?Hades! In Memoria, you go to the room under the ocean and walk around. When Quina starts to act like s/he can swim, Hades will warn you away. You keep talking to Hades to fight him, and then (after getting Pumice for him), he will synth.? Cecil and Auron were both right. Third question: Name all the Guardian Forces and tell where you get them. Answers: *Zell: ?Quezacotl, Shiva -- You start with them Ifrit -- defeat Ifrit in the exam Siren -- Draw from the monster after fighting Biggs and Wedge. Auron got all right. It?s 2 for Auron, 1 for Cecil and 0 for Zell Fourth question: How many times you encounter Ultimate Weapon and in which locations? Answers: *Zell: ?--This isn't gonna be pretty?? *Cecil: ?You first fight it in Mideel, and then you fight it multiple times while chasing it in the Highwind. I'm pretty sure the number of times that you fight it while chasing it can vary, though. The locations are, over the pool where you first find it, Midgar, the Northern Crater, Mideel, Nibelheim, and Cosmo Canyon.? *Auron: ?You can fight Ultimate WEAPON a maximum of 6 times (does not mean you have to, though). You first fight it at Mideel, then you fight it near Junon. Depending on how often you ram it (lol, that is so much fun!), you can fight it again at Mideel, at Nibelheim, Midgar, or Cosmo Canyon. Cosmo Canyon is required, for it is the final fight with Ultimate.? Auron and Cecil both got it right. 3 for Auron, 2 for Cecil, and 0 for Zell. Fifth question: What are the first espers you receive in Zozo? Answers: *Zell: ?--Blah...--? *Cecil: ?Ramuh, Siren, Stray, Kirin? *Auron: ?Ramuh, Stray, Siren, and Kirin.? Again, Auron and Cecil both right. 4 for Auron, 3 for Cecil, 0 for Zell Sixth question: Name crests/sigils for each character, and how you get all of them. YUNA-Moon Crest is in a chest at Besaid Beach. Sigil you get for defeating all of Belgimine's (sp?) Aeons. AURON-Mars Crest is on the Mi'ihen Highroad. Seventh question: Name the limit break group (not the different attacks, just the main name for them) for all characters, including the villains Edea, Seifer, Raijin and Fujin. Answers: *Zell: ?Okay... I can do this one! Squall - Renzokuken Quistis - Blue Magic Zell - Duel Selphie - Slot Rinoa - Combine Irvine - Shot Raijin & Fujin - Sai Edea - Ice Strike Seifer - Fire Cross? *Cecil: ?-? *Auron: ?SQUALL-Renzokuken RINOA-Combine LAGUNA-Desperado ZELL-Duel IRVINE-Shot SEIFER-Fire Cross QUISTIS-Blue Magic SELPHIE-Nunchaku RAIJIN-Raijin Special FUIJIN (?Fujin, ?Fuujin)-Sai EDEA-Ice Break? Zell and Cecil got this right! Cid (or me) didn?t appear in the first game of the series (trick question)! Total Scores: Zell: 2 Cecil: 4 Auron: 8 This means that Auron, you have won this final challenge!? Thundering applauds from the crowds. But Auron seems gloomy. Cid: ?Unfortunately your ?reward? is to choose which will follow you to the final voting: Cecil or Zell. The other one will be then evicted. So, you can say it out loud. How will it be?? Auron gives an agonized look at his fellow competitors. * * * offgame2: So, congrats, Ginny, you had the best knowledge, so you have the priviledge to choose either Des or BB to join you in the final voting. After your post, we will move to a completely another thread with a poll, but more about that later. Finally we can begin to wrap this up! Don't misunderstand, this has been a blast, but this has also lasted for nearly half an year! It'll be a miracle if this doesn't win the OB Award for the best RPG. ;)

Elairith: "So, Mayu, where do you come from?" Mayu: "I am the daughter of the Highcleric and the Highsongstress of the now lost nephil city of Sakret. It's ruins still lay somewhere here in Exile, but I have no idea where." Elairith: "So... you were something big, then? As in some sort of princess?" Mayu: "Oh, nothing like that! Sure, my parents ruled the city, but I was a prisoner in my own home. My whole life consisted only in praying and singing." Elairith: "Sounds familiar..." Mayu gave Elairith an encouraging smile, and took her by the hand. Elairith petted the fine white fur on the back of Mayu's hand. Mayu: "I'm so glad I have someone to talk to now..." Elairith: "Me too! Say, how is this possible? I mean, obviously your amulet did it, but how?" Mayu took out the blue sun-shaped shard from her bosom. Mayu: "This is a manashard called "Eclipse", and it is the reason why the entire Sakret was destroyed by the Vahnati." Elairith: "So that's why you were so scared of my companion above there! But what do the Vahnati want from that little piece of crystal?" Mayu: "This is said to be one of the shards of the broken great Manacrystal of the Vahnati. It was the source of their lost might, and they cannot get it back before the Manacrystal is rebuild again. I reckon this is one of the last pieces they need." Elairith: "This means we're in grave danger down here. We must avoid the Vahnati in all cost! But don't you worry, dear. I'm here with you!" Mayu: "Thank you..." Aww, how shweet! :D

offgame: Wow, Ginny! You told me you were doing some 15 minute doodles, not planning an entire comic from this game! :smirk: But sure, if you can turn 30 pages of text into one comic, I'll give you my blessing! :D Announcement: I've received all the answers to the final challenge, but I'll let you finish the Temple Tour before I post the actual challenge post. Put up your best, as this is your last chance to convince each other that you deserve a place in the final two, as well as convince the possible readers that you deserve to win this whole crap! :D

Horsies!! :D Of course they both are great, as always in your case, but I , too, would suggest you concentrate on the zebrahorn more. The hair at the base of the horn makes it look flat, so I suggest you add more 3D-feeling to it. :D Also, the Mountain Unicorn's nose is a tad too doggy-like (unless it's meant to be.) Well, consider these pointers, that's all! :D Jumps off singing *horsies horsies horsies...*

offgame: Don't worry, guys! This game has no chance of dying! I just need BB's answers to the Final Challenge, and then I'll post the challenge results, the winner will choose a companion to the final voting, then I'll make a new thread for the voting, people will ask questions and vote, and then we have a winner! :D

A sudden explosion woke up Neri. The truck started to twirl, and soon went off the road, throwing Neri to a bush. After recovering from the not-so-smooth wakening, she peeked from the bush to see what was going on. The truck lay on its side at the bank of the road. The driver and his companion were both dead, and the other passengers were ushered up by armed men. The men looked like common guerillas, but why would they attack a truck loaded with nothing but people on the way to Capetown. The question was soon answered as a white man wearing black trench-coat and sunglasses appeared to Neri's vision. "She isn't here", the man said in a rough accent. "Search the area." It took Neri a moment to realize that the man was speaking about her. She knew she had to get away.

Attention, please! (Especially Jamesy!) I've seen this trick on few sites that have a rule-page before you enter (not going deeper into what sites they are :toothy: ), and there's this method that ensures people to at least fast-read the rules. The trick is that you have an "I agree" and "I disagree" buttons below the list of rules, but neither of them actually work, as clicking "I agree"-button will take you to a page saying "you didn't read the rules! Go back and read them, you dork!" - or something like that. ;) You see, somewhere along the rules there stands a text that says something like: "To enter you must click the little icon on the bottomright corner of the page", and then there is the icon, and you click it to enter after you've kindly read the rules. Convenient, isn't it? :toothy: What say you?

Mayu followed Elairith deeper into the room. She was every bit as astouned as Elairith. Mayu had never seen a place like this - well, mainly because she had been raised in isolation inside the pure white walls of Sakret Temples. Mayu stared up at the details of the lanterns. She saw the carving in them form stories. A man riding a strange-looking mammal, the man charging into a castle, and carrying a beautiful woman away with him. Suddenly she felt that she had been left alone. When she lowered her look, she saw that Elairith had gone out of the room. Mayu started to worry, and soon the worry grew into panic. "E-Elairith?" she whispered thinly, trying out her voice. "Elairith?!" Bit louder this time. "Elairith!?!" The high pitched scream echoed from room to room, and soon Elairith came running to her. She asked something that Mayu understood as some sort of "What is it?" Mayu realized that her own eyes were covered in tears. Elairith came to her, and embraced her gently. For the first time Mayu prayed that she would have understood the half-nephil girl, that she could speak to her. Suddenly the manashard on her neck started to glow eerie blue light. It burned and froze her, but she was too shocked to do anything. Elairith pulled herself away from Mayu, staring at the Eclipse wide eyed. The blue light of the shard slowly detached from it, moving in front of Mayu's face. When Mayu gasped in amazement, the light moved to her mouth, and faded. "Are you alright?" Elairith asked quietly. It took Mayu few seconds to realize that she understood her. * * * So there! Now we can communicate properly, Raven. It's always good to carry a magical necklace. ;)

Art Inspired by FF: X-2... (aka, proof GinnyLyn can do more than just cute)
Sandy replied to GinnyLyn's topic in Creative Works
:bawl: *bawls for not having a coloring program* But I don't think the colorization is too rainbowy, I think it's amazing! *loves lots of colors* I myself can't think of anything but few colors per character, but you've used the colors very bravely, and the outcome is just magnificent. Of course there's always a risk that the colors won't match, and then the whole picture is ruined, but you should be very proud of yourself for avoiding that. :D I'll be waiting for the final version... ;) -
offgame: How about a player-list, Mina? It helps a great deal to see who's who, and on which side. Thankies! :D * * * Neri Omoro was riding on the back of a truck. It was the fastest - if not the most comfortable - way of traveling between her home village Nangolo and Capetown. She smelled the air. It was the ocean. It was coming nearer and nearer. She had heard many stories about the ocean from the village elders. Water as far as the eye can see. Neri had always enjoyed water, even though there wasn't much of it at the plains. She liked it more than fire and earth and wind, yet she had made friends with all of them. They were special to her, she sensed it. Although her brothers and sisters had called her a witch, she didn't mind. She preferred to be alone with her friends: water, fire, earth and wind. The rocking ride lulled her asleep, and she dreamed of the new future in the big city by the sea.

It's all because of one thing: money! I bet the man who had smoked since he was eight or something and got a lung-cancer met a lawyer at the hospital who told him that he can get big bucks from the tobacco company by suing them for causing the cancer. Of course the lawyer would get a big reward, but the man would get even bigger. I don't know how that ended up, but it was a big media event about a year ago. *jumps off singing* Money makes the world go 'round, world go 'round, world go 'round...

I really like this, and I agree with Harle about the song-thing. I am that sort of people who likes rhymes, and you've really done them originally in this. Well, it's a bit depressing and blue, but so's life itself. ;) If I would be a writing teacher, I'd tell you to check the rhytm, but since I'm not, I'm satisfied with it.

offgame: Raiha! Can you hear me? I asked you a question, and I'll ask it again as many times as it takes to get your reply. ;) Is the drow city where we are Menzoberranzan or what? * * * Beat beat beat beat... This was almost the only thing Phoebus enjoyed in Underdark - the Trance Orgies. Many of the town's youth was gathered at the Masheena's party. Beginning soldiers, wizard apprentices and priestess novices all danced in the beat, jumping up and down, gleaming bodies tangling into each other. The magical lights made it hard to recognize anybody who wasn't next to you, but Phoebus didn't have that akward situation. He was now dancing with Malacheus of Elriath Tribe and Jacco of Dratazz Tribe, both poshy young lords from competing Houses. But at Trance Orgies, none of that mattered. It was all about the beat... A sudden shake of the ground broke the music. The dancers stopped slowly, and a ghastly, silent moment filled the room. The magical flashing lights were still on, but nobody moved. Everybody knew that it hadn't been an earthquake that had shaken the room. Somebody had attacked the house. Dust and small rocks started to rain down from the roof onto the crowd, and then a panic errupted. Everybody were rushing to the only entrance of the dungeons. Those who still were sober enough to think clearly - which wasn't many - used their levitation skill to bounce off the floor, from the way of the mad crowd squashing each other. Phoebus had a strickt rule of not using his own products, so he was one of the drows who witnessed the massdeath of so many young. He saw both Malacheus and Jacco fall and get smashed alive by the hundreds of people trying to make their way to the door. It was chaos. Then something blew up the door, making most of the wall around it fall onto the crowd as well. It was clearly a work of wizardry, which made Phoebus even more nervous. He could've fought his way out, but he had no weapons against magic. He reckoned nobody would leave the room alive - which probably was the intention of the attacker. But why? It couldn't just be a revenge to Masheena - there was young drows from almost every House in the city gathered in the dungeons! But Phoebus decided he didn't want to stay and find out, so he levitated to the opposite direction of the crowd, deeper into the dungeons. All dungeons had several hidden entrances, so why would this one be any different. There was about a dozen bodies lying on the floor behind the crowd already, but the situation was probably much worse at the door. But soon Phoebus reached the part of the dungeon where the orgy hadn't extended. The halls shook every once in a while, but it was much milder there. Somebody had turned off the flashing lights, and it was a total darkness. Phoebus would have been just glad with the darkness, if he wouldn've heard the voices. The hundreds of young, beautiful dark elves screaming in pain and horror, all unable to do anything rational because of his drugs. Phoebus's heart pounded. If anybody was to know, he would lose his life in a horrible way. Suddenly his purple eye began aching. His father had told him that the purple eye was a mark of weakness, but since Phoebus's other eye was red like it should be, the situtation wasn't that bad. His father had been an idiot. Slowly - but too slowly - the awful noise faded, only weak echoes running around in the dark dungeons. Using his natural darkvision Phoebus floated around the empty hallways, past the endless pillars and small cells. There was absolutely nothing there. No barrels, no crates, no skeletons, no chains - not even rats because there was nothing to eat. Nothing to eat... That meant Phoebus could also starve in these endless tunnels unless he found a way out. So many had died that night - because of him.
Originally posted by dayday Actually, my life is turning out really well, besides me thinking perverted things sometimes.
Trust me, that's perfectly normal in puberty, I reckon it has very little to do with your raping. But raping is very traumatizing - especially to 11 years old, my gosh! -, so I strongly advice you to talk to your parents ( or any close adult you have), and/or call to a helpline, there's lots of them around, and there are people who know what to do on the other side of the line. It's is a very good thing you've come to admit this to somebody, since the worst thing you can do is to keep this to yourself - it'll only increase the trauma, and you wouldn't want to become one of those jumpy girls Transtic mentioned. :( Just do something about it, and take care. :)

Oh my, is this some sort of sect forming in these boards? ;) The "We Know The Truth And You All Are Just Wrong"-sect, perhaps? Lead by Crimson Spider and Justin, current members Crimson Spider and Justin? :p Okay, I should probably stop posting in this thread, as all that comes out of my mouth is mockery...
-
Ooh, classic! :D Though the beginning isn't that original, it doesn't matter if you bring enough of yourself into it. A heroine in lead is a big change in itself. Do continue, Mina! I, for one, will be reading. ;)

Aliens in afterlife? Why not. If we think abstractly, "heaven" is a place of eternal euphoria or something, not some actual place you can point from a map. I don't think such earthly things as time, distance or language affect there. There would be just "souls" from all corners of universe floating around... happily. Well, this is exactly why I dislike the whole concept of afterlife - it just seems so... out-of-reason.

Oooh, hottie! :toothy: I must admire the suit. Well done, Ninja-Magus! Do post more! :D

offgame: Raiha, I just want to know if the city where the drows live is Menzoberranzan or something else? * * * Phoebus approached the large house build on a hill with two of his slaves. It was one of the houses of Masheena Tribe, the family of a rather indifferent Matriarch, but most of her offspring lived for partying. That made Masheena one of the most important customers for Phoebus. When he reached the door, he knocked on it two times, then four, then two again, and once after that. It was the secret code that the daughter of Masheena had told her. The door opened, and a wall for a drow welcomed him stiffly. Phoebus gave a mark for the slaves to carry the products in. The main hall was empty, but that was totally expected. All the parties happened out of sight, in dungeons and catacombs. The large servant-drow lead them to the cellardoor and down the stairs. Phoebus started to hear the voice of manic frolicking. Shrill screams colored the rhythmical music that was usually played in drow orgies, to help everybody to reach trance. Also Phoebus did his best to aid that cause with his products. The servant opened the door at the bottom of the stairs, and the noise hit him. Magical lights flashed all over the room, making the sweaty bodies of young drows seem ghastly as they twisted in the beat of music. This was exactly what Phoebus liked. Suddenly somebody jumped on his neck. Phoebus's drow-reflexes prevented him to throw the organizer of this party - and his customer - to the floor. Menes Masheena, daughter of Matriarch Masheena tangled in his neck, shouting at his ear: "My delivery boy is here with a refill!!! The party can continue!!!" Smiling at the same he separated the dozed young lady from his neck, and handed the products to her servants. "Thank you, Pheeb. Come back up, and you'll get payed", Menes purred, rubbing Phoebus's chest. Phoebus returned upstairs with Menes and their servants. Menes handed him two pouches of gold coins and a silver medallion with a large sapphire attached to it. Phoebus handed the payment to his slaves. "Take these to the headquarters. I think I'll linger a while." Then he wrapped his arm around Menes. "Shall we?" Half way down the cellar stairs Menes looked at him surprised. "Wait... Did you just hand the payment to two humanslaves? Aren't you - ?" "Worried?" Phoebus asked back. "Not at all. Those two have lost their souls to Rhamandari Tribe, they can't think on their own. Besides, if they tried to escape with the money, I'd hunt down and mercilessly tear them into pieces." "Oh, you're such an exciting man, Pheebs! Why won't you marry me? Why why why?!" Menes grabbed Phoebus more tightly as they reached the lower door. "You know why", Phoebus said with a sigh as he opened the door. "You don't have a penis, dear."

Sorry, does Razzmatazz really mean something?! I just... kinda... stole it... from Final Fantasy 10... was one of the weapons... Uh, I'll change it. (please tell me what it means so I won't go around using it as a cool surname!)

offgame: No way, Raven, I'm sticking with you! BTW, I was a tad surprised about Mayu licking Elairith. I mean, Nephilim (at least in Sakret) are feline by shape, they're not animals. ;) Besides, Mayu was raised in a Temple to be a songstress, so I don't think she'd be licking just anybody... ;) But it doesn't really matter! Moving on! (Just don't make her lick anybody again, okay? :smirk: ) Mayu watched horrified as Elairith jumped from the hole to Exile - the last place she wanted to go! But she had saved the girl from the apparently evil half-Vahnati, and couldn't just leave her now. But what about the Forest? she thought to herself. But when she thought more closely, she realized that she had already been in the Forest, and she had been as lonely there as in Sakret. Until Elairith had come... Quickly she made up her mind and leaped after the girl. Mayu slided a long way in the growing darkness, hearing an occasional scream from Elairith. Slowly her eyes adjusted to the lightlessness, and she saw everything in warmthpatterns. Finally the sliding ended, and Mayu found Elairith lying on the floor. She was holding her ankle, and whining in pain. For a moment Mayu stood there, dazzled, feeling helpless, but then the memories of the healing lessons came back to her mind, and she kneeled over Elairith. And she sang a song of Recovery. Elairith stopped whining, and searched Mayu with her eyes and hands. Mayu reached her own hand, and grabbed the girls. They were alone in the darkness. Two girls who had no means to verbal communication together. Yet, they had tied a mutual bond of trust.
