1. It's been a long time since I've last signed in, feels like a ghost town sadly.
2. I don't know what to say. I heard the news from Japan86 (aka Laura) and I was a bit shocked. I am sad to say that I don't have a great memory, so I've forgotten a lot of things that went on here some time ago. I used to be relatively active, posting mostly in the RP section and I remember doing quite a few with Desbreko as well. My best friend, Charles, was probably closer to him, but I remember at least participating in some OB chats with him too. He was a good guy from what I remember and it's sad to see someone lose their life, especially at such a young age. R.I.P. Despreko
3. Raiha was, at one point, a Facebook friend, but, alas, she has unfriended me. Most likely because I wasn't very active on there for a while, don't know how to get in touch with her nowadays sadly.
4. No need to "bug", my friend. I am here. I last visited here in 2013, made a single post and that's about. Before that I think I made a post back in 2009.
5. Feeling nostalgic, wishing things could be like old times. Miss the old OB and lost friends.

1. Kayin Cloud

Kayin Cloud

Know whatcha mean.

6. TVE here!   It's been a long time since I last posted on Otakuboards, seriously anyway. I believe I stopped by once in 2009 and replied to a topic, but other than that it's been some time indeed. I got nostalgic and decided to visit Otakuboards again, mainly to track down all of the RPGs I partook in. I had so much fun roleplaying with the likes of my best friend Charles, as well as many of the board's more ancient members such as Raiha, Heartless Me, Domon, BabyGirl... Just a few of the people I remember RPing with on several occasions.   Then there are the more regular members I interacted with on a regular basis and eventually lost touch with. People like MistressRoxie, Juuthena, Japan, Despreko, etc. Too many to even name, and sadly I couldn't even begin to remember everyone anyway. My memory has never truly been a strong point and after roughly 7 or 8 years, it hasn't gotten any better.   I miss the old days, but I suppose there is no going back. Everyone that I remember seems to have been scattered to the winds, and those who do remain likely aren't to remember me. I was never a big poster, I tried, but in the end I think a majority of my post count was accumulated in the various RPGs I joined.   So much has changed and yet I still think back to the days of when I were an active member of OB and wish I had participated more or made more friends or even simply tried harder to keep in contact with the ones whom conversation I've had the pleasure of enjoying.   Those days meant a lot more to me than I expected and reminiscing brings it all to the surface. I feel sappy just thinking about it. The TVE logo I made from Semjaza's avatar, Fluffy my vampiric hairless cat, the Cracker Club, creating Project Gamer with Charles, etc. Good times.   For really old times sakes....   This has been The Vampire: Ed bringing you your daily dose of TVE!
7. You haven't lost your touch Charles. This was quite an amazing piece, really great stuff. I've always enjoyed reading your writing, whether it be long or short or role-playing form. They're always enjoyable.
8. Here is another, although I didn't make it:

10. Here's one from good ol' Ed.
11.
Draw a picture of her, give it to her and tell her that you want to be together with her forever. If that doesn't work, you might have to be a little more assertive. Women like that. When there's no one around and you have a moment of privacy, try grabbing her by the arm and pulling her aside. Don't let her arm go. It's important to be tender, so give it a firm squeeze, glare into her eyes, and reiterate your desire to be with her forever.

12. I present to you the Thumbs up Award for your beautiful and moving portrayal of an Otakuboard tragedy. I commend you. Anyone who does not reply in kind is a douche bag.
13. Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 2, Champions of Norrath, and Return to Norrath are a few of the sort of games you'd be interested in. They're hack and slash RPG that can be played with two players, Champions of Norrath and Return to Norrath can be played with up to four players however. I suggest you looking into those games.
14. Here is a good read on this very subject. It proves the point that video games are not to blame, and in turn prove people to be stupid for blaming video games for violence of any kind. I suggest everyone read it. The truth about violence and video games!
15. Anyone know the name of the video game Hitler was playing? Yeah... Violence has been around since the dawn of mankind. We don't need video games, movies, or music to spark it. Just call someone's religion nonsense, or, hell, even throw snow on someone's property and let the violence begin. Plain and simple, anyone who blames any form of media for violence is an idiot. Also, I never take anyone's complaints serious when they get outraged over some polygons "having sex" when it's one of the more innocent actions that could be done in the game, not to mention impossible to find without a hack or cheat. On top of that, as already mentioned, GTA San Andreas is a Mature rated game, meaning 17 and up, and yet people with children are complaining, why? Their child isn't supposed to be playing it to begin with and if they are then the only person to blame is the parents themselves for not paying attention to their child enough to know what he/she is occupying their time with. Also, making GTA San Andreas an Adult Only game is pointless as it's only a one year difference in age requirement. I mean at that rate Rockstar should just make the sex mini-game accessible now that it's an AO game, I mean no point in keeping it locked away now. I guaran-damn-tee that had GTA San Andreas been an AO game to begin with we'd still be hearing these complaints from these idiots.
16. Resident Evil 5 was just announced for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. So far not much is known other than that Jun Takeuchmi, the producer of the Street Fighter 2 and the Onimusha series, is overseeing the project. Oherwise, speculation suggests the main character featured in the screens is none other than Resident Evil 1 and Code Veronica star Chris Redfield, but it's not confirmed yet. Otherwise the game's bright atmosphere is of particular note, as are rumors of a more Resident Evil 1-rooted throwback, replete with zombies. In other words, it's the game will build on the groundwork laid down by Resident Evil 6, but some older themes will be returning.
17. The Doom Marine would win. Master Chief is a bad ***, no doubt, but he's just fighting aliens whether he's alone or not. The Doom Marine is taking on Hell itself, and all of it's minions. Hell vs. some aliens? No contest. I'd want a man on my side who's been to Hell stared the Devil in the eyes and came back alive rather than some guy who just killed some rinky dinky aliens.
18.
I was just trying to say something more than just what you did: just saying he did a good job and blah blah blah. Oh well. I may not be as good a writer as he is, he may be a superb writer, but there is always room for more improvement, and I'm certain he didn't post this up here just for people to say, "pussies and stuffz!111! omg lolz!111 liek its about sex!1111111 lolz111111111111111111111!!1" I was simply trying to give him more than that, because he deserved it. But I guess he'll probably be better off without me saying anything. Apparently that's your take on it. Vampire: Ed, I'm going to try and put this as nicely as possible -- the only way I'll shut up is if you put a silencer on this gun called my mouth!
Haha, good your getting into it now. Now, it's not simply saying "Great job, nice work, cool, lolzers, yadda, yadda, yadda..." or whatever else there is to say. It's always good to add an opinion as well, but your initial post shows that you just don't get his sense of humor. I mean it's pretty bad that he has to explain it to you when it so obvious to everyone else at what he was working at with his Ode. You just try to think too much into things that just don't need it, and it kills the initial fun of the topic. Also, even though he posted it I can assure you it wasn't to get advice he doesn't need. I'm sure he knows what he's doing. Seriously, I read tons and tons of his stuff and when he posts something that you're supposed to overanalyze you'll know it--but right now it's just not necessary. Sit back and have fun with it. Now--as for that mouth of yours... *stuffs crackers in Mitch's mouth* Yeah, try talking with your mouth full of saltine! Heh.
19.
Well, I took your last post in a different way than I should have. It's obvious you purposely put in the sexual meaning to make it more fun, but your last post made it sound as if you didn't intend to have a sexual meaning at all: that you wanted the poem to clearly state it was about cats, which the poem doesn't do except for the last stanza. But anyway I really like the poem the way it is now. Its double meaning is what makes it so good to me: how you can look at each line and see them in different ways.
Mitch, I'm going to put this as nicely as possibly--shut up! LOL, sorry but you're killing the mood and ruining all the fun of Charles' Ode. It's meant to be funny, and it's meant to be full of double meanings and sexual innuendo. This can't possibly be the first poem you've read from Charles because this is something he does quite often in his poems. Why do you have to read too much into to things, and why do you think you should be giving Charles advice or pointers? No offense, but he has been doing fantastic without your help before, and he'll probably keep doing better without it. He's a superb writer as it is. Anyway, Charles, it was quite hilarious and your descriptions made it hard to read without laughing almost every line. Awesome work, and definitely post some more for everyone to read.
20. I know a lot of people here probably won't like this, but I think the Matrix 2 and 3 were terrible sequels. They felt like cheap cash-ins to me, and repeated a lot of scenes from the first Matrix, obviously in different settings and stuff, but basically the same. Also, they just used too much familiar, but cheesy aspects of action anime cartoons such as the DBZ like flying in Matrix 3. Sure, the fight was kind of cool, but way too cheesy to me as it was a dead give away they were just ripping it off and doing it to trick people into thinking it was actually a good movie. Anyway, the plot just got way to convoluted, and confusing. It really just made no sense, and it kind of ruined how awesome the first Matrix was by making such lousy sequels. The first Matrix should have been the last, and that's my opinion.
21. No one is inherently good or evil. It depends on how you are raised that could determine that, but even then it is uncertain whether you could be good or evil in the long run. Everyone has the power in them to do either, so I don't think anyone is inherently good or evil. I mean what about those stories of the ex-convict who turned his/her life around, they were once "evil" but now are "good." There is no real way to define things when someone could be either good or evil at any moment. It's not really possible to define good or evil, because what you might think of as good or evil might be the opposite to someone else. As far as I know Hitler probably thought he was doing good by "cleansing" the races and all, but that's in the eyes of he and his followers. In our eyes he was evil, a monstrous man murdering the innocent. Yeah, I believe he was evil, but he didn't. To him people of "unclean" blood were evil, and he was good. It's all subjective and varies with different people's opinion of the meaning of good and evil. So this applies even with humanity as an overall.
22. I think about this quite often, and I've come to the conclusion that I have no purpose. I'm just here to waste space, and waste other people's time with my problems. That's about it. *shrugs*
23. You know what's sad? These reality shows are all so terrible that I actually thought that, that Geico commercial with the reality TV show parody was real at first until the Geico thing came up. They're that bad that I actually thought a lame commercial reality TV joke was real. But what's even sadder is that the joke reality TV show in the commercial looked more entertaining than just about all reality TVs they actually put on.
24. I have only one friend really, at least one that I've known in person for a long time, since childhood in fact. I had a lot of friends, and just about all of them used me and stabbed me in the back later down the road kicking me to the curb. I've had a hard time being able to trust people for the longest time now, but my best friend has never turned his back on me yet and I'm grateful for that. So I don't have a lot of friends, and I've always kind of wanted to keep it that way. Straying from the formula only causes problems.
25. I faked being sick all the time when I was younger. I hated school and I'd do or say anything to get out of going. So, yeah, faking being sick was like a life style for me. Ironically, now that I'm an adult and I don't have to go to school, I really feel sick all the time now. How's that for a kick in the ***?
