1. Answer: The Needle Gun is located in Misson 12 on the ghost ship. Question: In Blood Omen 2 what was used by the Sarafan Lord to make him self invulnerable to Kain's sword, the Soul Reaver? I asked this question on the first page a while back, but no one seemed to know it so it was just skipped over. This time I'm hoping someone can answer it.
2.
Actually, I think Electra survived. I know they showed her heart stop, and all. But earlier in the movie Matt said he'd like a pendent like hers, except in Braille. No one else heard him say this, just her. Then at the end of the movie, after she's already supposed to be dead. Matt finds a similar pendent to Electra's except in Braille. I think she has to be alive, and that was supposed to be a clue that she was.
Anyway, that's what I think at least.
3. Well, I liked that scene. I never really cared for Aeris, not that I hated the character but it was just kind of "meh." Like one of the poll selections. But the scene did wonders for Sephiroth's character. I mean a lot of people liked Aeris, and Sephiroth murdering her got his character a lot of heat. This scene is one of the reasons I believe Sephiroth to be the greatest villain of all time, and one of my reason for liking him. I've always like the bag guys, and this was just a scene of pure evil on Sephiroth's part. Which is why I was drawn to liking his character even more. I'd say I smiled, but not because I hated Aeris but because it was cool.
4. Whoa! Beating you up? I didn't know that. Screw what I said earlier, leave the prick. I'm sorry, by marital problems I assumed the usual arguing and such. You know, the normal expected stuff. But that's going to far right there. It would be better for yourself, and your baby just to leave him. I guess that'll teach me to do some checking before opening my mouth from now on. Anyway, off that subject. I hope you, and your baby the best.
5. Well, I got an animation program the other day and just fooled around with it. Then I decided to try my hand at making myself an animated banner, which I've all ready placed in my signature. This was also the very first animation I have done, which is also another reason I am looking for opinions on it. I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
6. Well, I guess I'll be the [strike]first[/strike]second to congratulate you. Kevin beat me to it. I hope your marital problems can be resolved, not only for the sake of yourself and your husband; but for your future child as well. I'm also glad to hear you're giving up smoking, besides the fact that it'll benefit the child it'll also benefit you in the long run. Not only health wise, but think of the money alone you'll save! :D Heh, well good luck and once again congratulations.
7. Well, I really don't see how he deserves any respect from anyone here. First of all in his education topic, while it's a good subject, he stepped on a lot of toes with all of those racist remarks he made in it. Secondly, calling religious people dumber than non-religious people isn't helping any either. Lastly, he lied about leaving because he's posted a couple times all ready since then acting as if nothing happened when he supposedly lost the will to live or whatever way he phrased it. On top of that Harry talked down to topics of the sort, it doesn't seem like he would post about his sister dying in a car accident after bashing related topic. Well, I don't post in those type of threads because I don't like to give out sympathy to people I don't know. Maybe it's just me, but that seems rather shallow. Not saying that everyone is shallow for doing it, because there are people who generally mean it. While others may not, but give it just to be courteous. Think what you will of me, but I cannot in all honestly believe someone like that. People like Charles, James, Juu, Kevin, TN, etc. They can be believed because they haven't done anything remotely as offensive as Harry has, so it's easier to place faith in them. Harry has stepped on too many toes, and once you do that it's a bit hard to get people to respect you.
8.
Originally posted by Transtic Nerve When you're under 18, and especially in a public High School, thats certainly never the case. Thats why they have dress codes many places. The fact is, if she was under 18, she doesn't have any right to free speech. She's not an adult, she can't vote, she is still basically proporty of her parents, and proporty has no rights. I mean, sure you get the basic human rights and other live, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness rights, but nothing else. Kids have the right to a trial. I dunno if the Miranda rights apply to children or not.... they have the right to a lawyer. They have the right to exercize the 5th amendment if they do so please in a court of law, hell thats about the only place they have rights. But then again, thats pretty much the last place you want to be. The supreme court has ruled, as stated in one of those ridiculously long posts no one readys anyway, that School and Military have certain aspects to them that where you might have rights in real life that don't apply. Which is why if you have a car on HS grounds, they can search it for NO reason what so ever. They can do it for kicks and giggles, but if you were out on the road, they can't do that, legally at least. Same with the way you dress and the way you speak. They have been given complete control over you at school. Which is exactly why it's perfectly legal and right for them to send that girl home... whether morals have anything to do withit is not the case. They had their own right to do it and they did.
Yes, I know you're right. But I still find it sad that one is forced to change an article of clothing because the teachers do not like it. James, and I share the same opinion on this from reading his last post. I mean maybe since she doesn't have the usual rights an adult would, I still think it is not right. Foul language, nudity, or something such as that should not be accepted. But as long as her shirt did not include such things, she should not be made to change it or go home. But I guess that has to be left as an opinion.
9. I just don't think it's right that people have to change anything they wear as long as they aren't in high school while wearing something with foul language on it or anything with pictures of men or women revealing themselves. She should not have been made to change it. That shirt she was wearing had nothing wrong with it, the teachers just didn't like it. Freedom of speech right? Well, all though she's not talking the shirt is still a form of speech and may be a reflection of her opinions. I think making her change the shirt is abusing her freedom of speech. But then again I think saying we have the freedom of speech in this country is a crock of s**t. It's just there to make out country sound more civilized that it really is, but whatever I don't really care about politics and such. People just shouldn't have to change their clothing because others don't like it.
10. When I seen it, I thought most of it was corny and cheesy, or cheezy, like Shinobi said. There was just a bunch of stuff about the movie that rubbed me the wrong way, but later on I thought it got better. DareDevil is kinda like a blind Punisher as in he's usually judge, jury, and executioner. The movie was certainly a lot more mature than I thought it would be however since it featured a lot more death than that type of movie would have. Anyway, I'd say it was an okay movie. But X-Men 2 looked pretty promising from the trailer I seen....however I'm still not too happy with the apparent absence of Gambit again. It's sacrilege that they not include Gambit!
11. Yup, that's why I said it'll give you a good buzz. Anyway, as I said I think they stopped making Surge. But ya' know Hawaiian Punch's fruit punch may be a good replacement.
12. I don't like to give out my name, but a lot of people seem to have me confused with someone else actually named Ed when we talk in chats sometimes. So to clear the air, my name is actually Rob. Not Ed. Rob. But for board purposes continue to call me Ed, or just TVE for short. :D
13. Actually, another high for me would be licking a 9 Volt, and taking a swig of Surge. That'll give you a good buzz. Don't ask. I was bored, and had nothing better to do. Anyway, I think they stopped making that soda, Surge. Oh, and I thought you left Harry? Seems you re-cover from depression easily. Huh?
14. I think it looks good, but it would be much better if you thickened that Vegeta picture. But I like the little slogan "What we do in life; Echoes in eternity." A nice choice. Just fix that Vegeta pic, and it'll be perfect.
15. Haha. Awesome job. Both of them look great, but the second one is obviously better. That's my type of animation, however in color it would be ten times better. Hmm...but maybe that's just my own sick little opinion. :D Great job.
16.
Originally posted by Endymion Michael dangles his baby over a balcony. Is he a bad parent? Maybe. Should he have his children taken away? Maybe. Should he be thrown in jail? Probably not. When I first heard about this, I imagined Michael sticking his baby out the window and losing his grip. That's how badly the media hyped it up. Michael walked over to the balcony, realized his son's feet were dangling, and held on for dear life as he pulled the baby back inside. This is a really big mistake, but he's hardly a baby killer. The most that should be done is his children be taken to their mothers. Would you want your father (or guardian of choice) in jail for life because he/she walked too close to a window when you were a baby?
Actually, I have seen that video myself. Michael Jackson purposely held his son out of the window. He walked to the window, looked down to see where the window was then lifted the child enough so he could hold him out of his window. To top it all off Michael Jackson was only holding the baby with one arm loosely around the child's midsection, then yanked the child back in with just one hand as he was losing his grip. I watched that video closely, and I made sure that I knew for sure whether it was an accident or not. Obviously it was no accident. I still don't agree with the rest of what you said, but I respect your opinion.
17. Well, I can honestly say I never liked Michael Jackson. I never cared for his music, and never cared for him. Whether or not the rumors about him are just that, it still disturbs me just thinking about what that man does behind closed doors. He definitely is crazy in my opinion, and what really gets me is that he gets away with being that way. I mean, he gets a lot of bad publicity because of it, but I mean if you've seen a person who acted just like Michael Jackson except they weren't famous. They'd either be in prison, or a psychiatric ward. I think it is wrong he gets away with behaving a way that would normally have people put away for lesser 'crazy' actions, just because of his popularity. Whether people like his music or not doesn't matter, nor does respecting him for what he may or may not have contributed to the music industry. Hanging babies out of windows, sleeping with small boys, feeding a crying baby under a blanket, etc. It's all just too disturbing to me. I really don't get a disturbed feeling by much in life, but Michael Jackson is just too strange. Whether people like the man, or not. I think he should be put in a psychiatric ward and made to regularly see a psychiatrist so that they can figure out just what the hell is wrong with that man. He needs a lot of help. Sadly, society is nothing more than a huge popularity contest. The more popular, or famous you are the easier it usually is to get away with things.
18. Well, all though it isn't nearly like the other versions of Splinter Cell and I do think the name should have been changed for the GBA version. I think the screen shots look great. It looks like it would be a pretty fun game to play, and well the look of it really is just surprising to me. I don't follow the GBA very much, but this indeed is the best looking GBA game I have personally seen. It might be worth looking into sometime.
19. I don't know much about the game, nor have I played it. But I wanted to help. So I went to GameFAQs and got the walkthrough for Mission 2 for you, and even if you only wanted it for that one part the rest is there is you need it. I would give you the link right to the FAQ in case you needed it at a later time, but I'm not sure if that would count as advertising or not. Anyway, GameFAQs is a good place to check especially when certain game such as this seems to be unknown here. Good luck.
From GameFAQs a FAQ written by GameFAQs member VmprHntrD. Mission 2 Castle Leo - The Princess Gwenevere Items to be found: Fist of Needles This mission opens up in the southern regions of Leo D'Grance's territories outside of town. Moving north you will approach an intersection that goes up and left or right. The right side you can burn down or run across to take out two bothersome archers if you wish. The left side is a stone bridge that sets off a cutscene for the opening objective of the game, burning down a bridge to stop the advancement of Morgan's flanking troops, but let's not get that far ahead yet as I have a special tip on leveling up for you here. Double back and go across the bridge and get the blademasters to follow you. Go back over the bridge with them in pursuit, then double back on its right side and wedge yourself between the bridge railing and the shoreline. As the blademasters approach you will find they can never lay a hand on you, but you can slowly hurt them. Given about 30+ minutes of work you can raise Arthur to around levels 5 to 7. At this level you can easily crush this level, and make the following two easier as well. The only thing you lose here is a two AI character backup that's quite useless. Now back to the guide. Going north you can choose to take the highroad or the low road, either is fine, but the low road you will need to approach to burn down the bridge to stop the advancement of Morgan?s troops or you will fail the mission in about 5-10minutes time as the castle WILL GET FLANKED. Also keep your eye out for a gold bag next to the tree on the left side of the bridge. Heading eastward eventually you come across a lower class peasantry housing area. Following the path until you come to a bend in the road if you go to the house there which has a tree just below it, and another house to its right if you burn it down you will get the FIST OF NEEDLES. The other house there makes it easy to know what I speak of as a maiden runs out as it's set fire by two troops, so kill them and save her for fun. Afterwards again, head more to the east crossing a bridge and entering the main town which leads to the castle. Your objective here is to make it to the church in the east, but it won't be that easy. As you enter town you will see an ally run out of a home with a blademaster in pursuit who will now advance on you. Use hit and fade tactics with this guy because he will lower your HP quite quickly. Once he's dead, go for the church and take out anyone in your way in a straight line to there. At the church you will need to kill two more blademasters, one will advance on you, the other on the priest. Ignore the one after the priest as he will never die, but you will, so kill that one, then the other, and your AI backup will help slightly. From this point on you can now get your life refilled. There are now two things you can do from this point, help the priest find his daughter, or backtrack and head north through the main gate (which I prefer doing.) If you choose to be helpful, she is found in the southwest part of town by the water, if you go directly south, then west you can find her, and a bag of gold by some crates. Once she is found the priest will lead you to a side entrance to the castle grounds, but first you will have to kill a few skeleton knights in the way which is easy enough with the priest to refill your life, and you can get a pair of small change gold bags here too in a dug out grave. Now at this point I personally would kill them for the experience, but still head back to the main gate and go north. Here you will find some troops trying to escape the barracks, but being slaughtered by ground forces and a pair of archers so kill them and get a large pile of allies to assist you. Now head north up the stairs and into the main courtyard that branches into three paths. From here head east and take out a pod of troops to free some archers from captivity, and they will inform you of the Princess Gwenevere being held in the west, so go that way, take out two blademasters and get (after this stage is over) a new ally. With her heading northward, follow her to the back wall. My advice is to get this over with fast to be on the safe side, and to do this, head to the far eastern siege tower. Going down this you'll find three blademasters, a sorceress, and some other general lackeys. Just go for the group of four as they're the siege captains and once they die, the level ends.
20. Hmmm...no sleep makes me act wacky. A sorta high, I suppose. Besides that I don't really get a high off of much in life.
21. Well, I don't like to discuss my personal life anywhere really. But sadly this is a topic I know all too well. You see I'm usually pretty s**ty at picking friend, most if not all my past friends have been two-faced a-holes posing as a friend to me to either gain access to something I possess or just to humiliate me in front of others with personal details of myself when I was not around. This is why I am the way that I am now, which is a very closed off and hateful person towards most. I'm sorry if people can't accept that, but it's been happening since I was too young to know better and now I'm nineteen. My attitude cannot be changed now. It's sunk too far into this thick skull of mine, and it isn't going anywhere. At one point in my life I would be happy to have many friends, I'd want to meet new people to befriend them. But now I just don't give a damn. I now limit myself to one friend, and he's been a friend I've known practically my whole life. In fact he's the smartest person I know, and his intelligence alone has taught me a lot. So I am not as dumb as I probably would be without him as a friend, so just being his friend seems like a privilege in a lot of ways. Also, even though I act mad or upset that he doesn't like what I like or doesn't always share the same opinion. I am actually very happy because I know that he's not just liking something I like because we're friends, and because of this I also trust him more than I would someone always agreeing with my taste in things. One friend is all I need, and he's a damn good one. So I'm set. Now, I'm going to try to forget I even told you people this so don't remind me.
22.
Originally posted by Harry Finally someone that isn't blinded by their hatred of me.
I didn't see anyone say they hated you. What's been disputed in this thread most heatedly isn't your solution, but your attitudes towards minorities and underpriveleged children. And looking CWB's posts, it's obvious that free education isn't always a privelage. And yeah, Jenni you apologized to James. That totally erases my intense dislike of you.
23. Well, I'm not all the great on subjects such as these. But I guess Harry failed to realize that he blatantly made racist remarks in his first post. I mean just about everyone in this topic has made a reference to his racist remarks, yet he went on arguing as if people were just talking about his idea to ship these kids off to military school. Read your post if you don't understand that you have offended people with your racism, not your ideas for sending kids to military school. Also, it isn't the point to get children out of low income areas. The point is mainly to get more money to these schools that need it, and not all of these failing children are stupid or lazy. A lot of the times it is indeed the fault of the teacher hired by the schooling systems. There are a lot of teachers out there who only took the job because they figured they can get a healthy pay check for doing little work. I have not seen many teachers passionate about teaching children, so I find that a bit sad to start blaming all of the kids for it. Find a teacher who truly cares about teaching kids, and makes it fun to learn; I bet you'll find that a lot of their students did in fact pass. Now, Jenni you have offended me deeply. Why? Not because of your abundance of swearing. Hell, I swear a lot too. It's who I am, but I am at least smart enough to keep it off the boards. You can talk without using foul language. Am I offended by your attitude? Nah, I'm usually not much of a happy camper either. But again I'm smart enough to keep it off the boards. So what did you offend me with? Well, you took a signature phrase of mine and ruined it. Sit on it and rotate? What the hell is that? Get it right, it's Sit on it and spin. Maybe there isn't much of a difference, but it sounds much better my way. Anyway, I also don't think it's wise to talk smack to CWB. He can outdebate most people easily, but smack talking comes naturally to the guy. You go toe to toe with him, it'll be like trying to take on a football team by yourself. This has been The Vampire: Ed bringing you your daily dose of TVE!
24. LOL! Now that's awesome, a classic for sure. I guess Mario's abandoned his usual quest to save Princess Toadstool for more patriotic duties. There's a plunger with Saddam's name on it.
25. Your best bet would be to check out the FAQs over at GameFAQs. Even the simplest things would have to be explained in great detail to get it right. RPG Maker is a complicated, and time consuming 'game.' Most people just don't have the patience to mess with it, and that is why I got rid of my copy. I could easily figure out how to use it if I put enough effort into it, but I didn't have the patience. Which also means that most people would have the patience to explain it either, unless of course you are at a message board designed specially for the game or you just look it up in a Guide of some sort.
