The Vampire: Ed

Sephiroth, and Alucard charge the bony warriors their respective blade cutting the air. Sephiroth plows through the front row with ease, the length of the Masamune allows him to hit at least thirteen of the skeleton henchmen grouped together. Meanwhile, Alucard, while not blessed with a lengthy sword relies on his inhuman speed. Alucard dodges several attacks, then leaps over the pursuing skeletons. Turning quickly he lops off a couple of their head immediately turning them into ashes. Sephiroth swings the Masamune knock one of the skeleton's weapon away, quick Sephiroth grabs hold of it's skull and shoves it's head into another skeleton's head. Both skulls crack, and their bones explode in an ashy spray. Alucard leaps into the air again, but stomps on one of the skeleton before leaping off while swinging his sword at another. Both skeletons drop to the ground, and turn to dust as the other had done. Alucard smirks at his work, and looks back toward Sephiroth with a red aura flowing around himself. 'Fire!' Sephiroth exclaims as he raises his hand toward a group of the bone knights, a huge blast of fire come forth from Sephiroth's hand immediately destroying the foes. Alucard turns back just as a skeleton is thrusting a sword directly towards Alucard's head, but with his quick reflexes Alucard managed to side step it and counter with a spinning back hand. The skull came tumbling off, and laid on the ground as the rest of it's bone collapsed in a pile on the ground. Sephiroth looked around, and seen only Alucard. The battle was over, they had finished the last of the skeleton warriors. Death apparently didn't want to stick around, as he was also gone. Alucard, and Sephiroth came back towards each other then began to speak. 'So, where do we go now?' Sephiroth asked. Alucard placed his hand on his chin, seemingly in deep thought. 'My father, Dracula, is somewhere to the north of here, I can feel him.' Alucard suddenly answered. 'I guess we can just rely on my senses, because that's probably the only way we're going to be able to find him.' Alucard continued. 'Right, well we better go then. I don't want anything to happen to Megan.' Sephiroth said with concern in his voice. Alucard nodded in agreement, and so they set of due north in search of Dracula, and Megan.

Well, I too agree that the Newbie Lounge should go. It's basically a waste of space filled with spam, and nonsense. So consider this my signature on the petition.

Making their way down the rocky dirt road, they inspect every nook and cranny around the castle. They stood before a small cave, and echoes of the howling wind are heard within. 'Perhaps, they are in there.' Sephiroth said as he looked into the darkness. Alucard just looked towards the sun in annoyance, as the rays of light irritated his skin. Sephiroth walked towards the cave entrance, but as soon as he tried to enter a horde of bats fly out screeching as their wings hit Sephiroth in the process. Sephiroth covered his eyes with one arm, then swatted at the bats with the other. They soared off into the sky, and Sephiroth turned looking angrily towards the sky. Suddenly the ground shook, and they looked around as they held their blades in a defensive stance. 'What the hell was that?' Sephiroth exclaimed as he looked towards Alucard. Alucard just returned the look, but had no answer. But his eyes widened as the entrance to the cave began to crumble, Alucard extended his hand towards Sephiroth trying to warn him. But it was too late the rubble came down before Sephiroth could react, immediate he was buried under the pile of rock. Alucard began to dash toward the rubble, but was suddenly thrown back by an unseen force. 'We're not through yet!' the familiar voice of Death echoed. Alucard gets back to his feet looking around, then his eyes lock on ashes blowing around in the wind. The ashes slowly begin to uncremate themselves, so to speak. Slowly the bones rebuild themselves, and the torched skull of Death levitates through the air to rejoin the rest of himself. They rejoin together surrounded by the mysterious black aura seen before. Once fully together again, Death's scythe ripped through the air once more to rejoin it's master. Death's eye sockets turn a bright red again, as his cold raspy voice echoes over Alucard. 'Fool! You cannot defeat Death so easily. I'm sorry to disappoint you, Alucard, but you'll not find your father here. Time to join your friend, beneath the earth in a tomb of boulders.' Death hissed evilly, then followed it up with that same ghastly, hollow cackle. But Death's menacing laugh is cut off by the sound of rocks being pushed aside, looking towards what once was a cavern entrance Death witnesses Sephiroth throwing the rubble off himself. Standing before Death with a cocky grin, Sephiroth speaks in a mocking tone 'Come on, Death. Did you really think you could defeat Sephiroth so easy?' Alucard lets out a slight snicker, and speaks 'Death, your entrances are superb. However, it's obviously just a show to scare the sheep. As you can see, myself, and Sephiroth are far from sheep.' Death's teeth chatter, and grinned as he is apparently enraged by Alucard's statement. 'You simpletons are no match for my power. I do not have the time to deal with you now, however I will dig up a few friends to keep you entertained.' Death says with a laugh trailing behind. Raising his scythe Death swings it downward cutting into the earth with his dark power, immediately another tremor shakes the ground beneath them. 'Really. Death, you've got to do more then try to shake us around.' Sephiroth said once again mocking the reaper of souls. Death just pointed towards the earth with his long bony finger, as the ground began to be torn apart all around them. In a matter of moments the area was flooded with a tidal wave of bones, all coming from deep underground. 'Rise! Rise my minions! Destroy these fools who challenge my power!' Death yelled with a crick escaping his bare bones. Suddenly, the bones began to connect to one another and only rusty weapons began to rise from the ground as well. The skeletons reformed themselves, and grabbed the nearest weapon ranging from swords, maces, spears, shields, and other such thing of destruction. The army of bony warrior stood under Death as his float in midair looking down upon Alucard and Sephiroth as they came together back to back as they became surrounded. 'These are the fallen whom sought to destroy the lord Dracula. These retched fools did nothing but deliver themselves upon me. Now, they are my slaves for all eternity. Prepare to die.' Death screamed as he disappeared behind his black aura, then vanished. The skeleton army slowly closed in, their bones making clanking noises as they banged and scraped against another. Sephiroth shook his head with anger, then spoke 'Great. It's ironic that I would spend most of my time trying to escape from a zombie filled city, just to come across an army of undead skeleton warriors.' Alucard smirked lightly at Sephiroth misfortune, then replied 'Well, I think there is only one course of action to take here. I'm sure you, and I are on the same page here.' 'Indeed.' Sephiroth said with slight humor in his voice. 'Shall we then?' Alucard asks with confidence. 'Let's go!' Sephiroth yelled as he, and Alucard explodes from their defensive positions running right towards the group of skeletons nearest them.

Very well written, and of course you managed to write one of the most embarrassing moments of our lives with a good portion of humor. Glad to see that, as it makes it all easier to look back and laugh at. Well, a little anyway. If anyone is wondering what I'm talking about, I'm Rob. I really felt like smacking one of those ignorant cops across the face. Anyway, great work. But I really had no doubt about how good it would be seeing as how good of a writer you've always been.

Sephiroth, and Alucard made their way to the front gate to exit the castle. Much to their surprise they had not even had a single encounter with a creatures that inhabits the castle, of course they were not easily fooled either. Sensing something more behind it, they continued on with their hands tightly wrapped around the handles of their respective blades. Alucard looked towards the open drawbridge as the sun began to shine brightly, the rays of light flood the dimly lit hall. Alucard squinted his eyes as he felt the sun seemingly crawling around under his skin, but being half vampire will do that too you. 'I still find it very strange that we have yet to happen upon on of my father's minions.' Alucard said with slight concern in his voice, and in return Sephiroth just shot him a look and nodded in agreement. 'Well, it looks as if we're going to make it out without a problem. I highly doubt that much can happen now, seeing as the exit is right here. This will be his, Dracula's, downfall. Whether I can defeat him or not, I assure you I will put him through hell.' Sephiroth said with confidence. Alucard just look towards Sephiroth as if acknowledging his ability in at least doing so. Suddenly a scratchy, and deep, yet ghostly, voice echo's through out the hall. 'Is that so? I thought it was my job put souls through either heaven or hell.' Alucard, and Sephiroth looked around frantically trying to find the source in which the voice came, yet no one could be seen. 'Who the hell are you? Show your self!' Sephiroth called out in demanding manner. Suddenly the drawbridge pulled up quicker then thought possible, slamming shut with a crashing sound reminiscent of thunder. The hall was completely dark now, Alucard and Sephiroth stood back to back in the darkness expecting anything to come popping up at them. The voice boomed over them again, this time somewhat clearer. 'Fool, you have no idea who you are speaking too.' It was then that Alucard realized exactly who it was that currently stalked them. Alucard smirked a bit, then spoke towards the voice 'So we meet again! I assume you are back for another thrashing, show yourself so I can teach you a thing or two about your job.' The voice let out a ghastly laugh as the candles lining the halls began to ignite, then the candles in the chandeliers. Suddenly, as the light caused shadows to menacingly prance around on the walls, a sickle pierces the air in front of the two unnatural warriors. It swings around slowly revealing the being that haunted them so, as the black aura disperses a clocked upper body of a skeleton appears. Sephiroth turned his head slightly with a confused look on his face, the speaks 'What the hell is that?' Suddenly, the jaw of the skull began flapping and made a chattering noise as the ghostly voice came from within. 'Who is your uneducated friend, Alucard? Come now, any man should recognize the face of Death when he see it.' Sephiroth grinned, then spoke in a mocking manner 'Sorry, it's just that I managed to go without seeing your ugly mug about three time thus far. Either I'm just that tough to kill, or you aren't very good at your job.' A red aura light the hollow spaces where eyes would normally be in Death's skull as he begins to yells angrily 'You ignorant toad! I'll be sure to take you this time, and I'll make sure you head straight for hell. Now, give the pleasure of knowing the name of my next victim.' Sephiroth grinned, and spoke again 'The names Sephiroth, you'll remember it after I rip you to pieces.' 'Ho, ho, Sephiroth? Seems as if I've got a celebrity on my hands, yes indeed. You're known very well on the other side, you gave me a lot of business in your early days. It will be a privileged to kill you.' As Death, and Sephiroth made their insulting conversations with one another Alucard just watched silently, then finally spoke 'So, Death, are you planning to take us by old age with your endless babble? Or did you, perhaps, want to do it yourself?' Death snapped at the two fearless warriors just acting as if he was another mindless minion, his eye sockets grew a dark almost blood red as he yelled once more 'You filthy little....no matter, I shall end your miserable lives and drag your screaming souls to hell. Prepare yourselves, here I come!'

Crazy White Boy, of course I'm not much of an active person on the boards. So he's the only one I can say, too bad George Carlin doesn't post here or he'd be mentioned too. CWB of course always has funny, or witty things to say. Gotta' love that quality. I remember the 'Mutant Ear Raping Space Monkeys' post from the 'old' days. That was some funny stuff.

Sephiroth's face turned bright red with anger, and his mind filled with the possibility that he may have failed to protect another of his friends. Alucard was looking slightly surprised that another individual of a human nature could match strengths with him, but he could sense that Sephiroth was different. Suddenly the thought of losing Megan sent Sephiroth over, his eyes squint with frustration just before he pushes forward throwing Alucard back. Alucard was about to hit a wall behind him, but thanks to his superhuman speed he flipped over and kicked off the wall. Alucard flips off the wall, then lands standing on his feet. He looks at Sephiroth staring coldly at him with his eerie blue eyes burning a hole through him. Suddenly, he realized that the woman his father, Dracula, took must be the Megan his current foe speaks of. Just as he opens his mouth to inform Sephiroth, he's attacked. Sephiroth swings the Masamune rapidly, and with extreme force. Sephiroth swings again horizontally, at which time Alucard jumps up to dodge coming down Alucard swings his own sword slicing Sephiroth's chest. Sephiroth steps back hardly even giving his newly acquired wound notice, and pointed accusingly at Alucard while speaking in a forceful tone. 'I will not bury another of my friends, not Megan! Argh!!!! I'll tear you apart!' Sephiroth screams as he charges forward, but Alucard puts his head up trying to stop Sephiroth as he replies. 'She is not dead!' Alucard yells as Sephiroth raises the Masamune to strike, but quickly he drops his arm to his side and stops in front of Alucard. Both face to face looking at each other with a cold calmness, Sephiroth just clenches the handle of the Masamune then speaks. 'If you did not kill her, then where is she?' Sephiroth questions with untrusting words. 'Not I. If this woman, Megan, is who you seek. Then she may be whom I had seen.' Alucard says just before Sephiroth grabs him by the collar of his clothing. 'No games! Where is she?!' Sephiroth screams into Alucard's face, but only receives a blank stare. Suddenly, Alucard slaps Sephiroth's hand away and speaks 'Don't be a fool. I am not the enemy. The enemy is my father, Dracula. I was about to vanquish in once more, until that woman fell through that black hole. He took her and fled like a coward.' Sephiroth looked into Alucard's eyes, and could tell that he was mistaken in attacking him. Sheathing the Masamune Sephiroth turned to walk away, then looked back speaking to Alucard over his shoulder. 'I know you speak the truth, I can see it in your eyes. It was my mistake to jump to conclusions, but now is not the time for apologies. I must find this Dracula, and when I do he will die by my hands for taking Megan. For his sake, he had better not hurt her.' Sephiroth said turning back forward, and continuing to walk toward the door at the side of the large dark room.

After arriving in Midgar, and narrowly escaping a reunion battle between Cloud and Sephiroth. They updated them on the whole story, everything that happened to Sephiroth and the story behind his female companion. They began to make their way to the lounge, but Sephiroth stops then turns back looking at the airship. Megan followed closely behind almost bumps into Sephiroth, but stop in time. 'W-whats wrong?' Megan asked curiously. 'Megan, go with the others. I have something I must do first.' Sephiroth said as he started to make his way back towards the airship. 'Wait! What is it?' called Megan. Sephiroth just turned to look at Megan, then replied with an almost mournful tone 'Bury a friend. It's best you do not come.' Megan just nodded with a tear in her eyes, hugged Sephiroth, then ran to catch up with the others. Reentering the airship Sephiroth returned to retrieve Jim's body, after doing so he left the ship and proceeded towards a near by cemetery. Upon reaching the cemetery Sephiroth kicked the gates open as he carried Jim's body in his arms, then made his way to an empty corner of the graveyard. Laying Jim down on the soggy grass, Sephiroth proceeds to the shed where the tools are kept. It was locked, but with a swipe of the Masamune the lock simply feel off. Opening the door he found a shovel, grabbing it he returned to Jim's side. Looking down at the ground Sephiroth broke the soil in a quick motion with the shovel, leaving the shovel planted firmly in the ground. Sephiroth took the time to remove his coat, and set the Masamune aside so that it would not slow him down. As he started to dig again his mind filled with memories of Wesker killing Jim, his anger returned and his face turned red as he sped up. He threw dirt, and grass around madly losing himself in his work. Eventually he stopped, and looked around to see that he was standing in a seven foot deep hole. Sephiroth pulled himself up, and out of the hole slowly with the dirt staining his bare and pale flesh. As he stood up, he turned to look down in the hole then towards Jim's corpse. Suddenly, Sephiroth roared out in anger then reared back and threw the shovel as if it was a javelin. Hitting a nearby tree with the velocity that it flew at, the shovel immediately became lodged in it's trunk. Sephiroth fell to his knees holding his head, and realizing just how it must have felt for those he caused grief to in the past. The mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, family and friends in general he must has caused to perish in the chaos he bestowed upon the world. Too himself he spoke with an angry, and sorrow filled tone 'I-I-I....WHY?! Is this my punishment? To return to the living world again with my human emotions returned to me? To feel sadness of another's passing? To be ashamed of what I've done? Am I just being taught a lesson for all the wrongs that I've committed. I now HATE Jenova with a passion for manipulating me......but I'm almost certain that I would welcome her back into my mind if only to silence these damn emotions inside.' Sephiroth pound the ground with a fist, and just looked down as rain began to fall. Sephiroth's wing stretched out, and maneuvered itself above his head to cover him from the downfall. Looking up to the sky Sephiroth spoke out again 'No! I would rather suffer a painful death then to be a pawn again. I hate Cloud for sending me to my grave, but now I am more thankful then anything else. I have an obligation to fulfill, I must protect Megan and redeem myself by siding with those whom I once sought to kill. Jim, my friend, your death will not go unavenged. This Albert Wesker was only apart of this evil, and I made sure to end his miserable existence. I must search for the source of this evil, and destroy it to atone for my sins. I only hope it is not too late for me....' Sephiroth's voice trailed off as he got back up, and walked over the grave then slowly began to lower Jim's body in. Sephiroth continued the rest of the burial as the rain poured down upon the earth. At the lodge, Tifa's Bar, 7th Heaven...... Megan sat by the window staring out as the rain tapped against the roof, and rolled down the sides. With a sigh Megan looked around the room, Tifa was behind the counter handing drinks to the others. She looked back out through the window sighing again as she spoke to herself 'Sephy, where are you?' Suddenly, Megan jumped as she felt someone touch her shoulder. Turning she found Aeris staring down at her with a cup of water in her other hand. 'Sorry, I didn't mean to startle you. I brought you a glass of water, you don't seem like a big 'drinker' to me.' Aeris said in a sweet manner. 'Thank you...' Megan said as she took the glass of water, and looked back out through the window. 'Hmm.....he must have changed a lot to have someone waiting for him like you are.' Aeris said. Megan just looked at her, then to the table as she swirled the water around a bit in her glass. 'I guess you're not in a speaking mood. I'll go away now.' Aeris said as she turned away, but Megan called her back 'Wait, Aeris, please sit.' Aeris turned back, and sat down across from Megan at the table. Megan looked at the table tapping it nervously with her finger, then finally got the courage up to speak. 'S-so....is it true? Is it true about Sephy.....er I mean Sephiroth? Did he really kill you, and try to destroy all of humanity?' Aeris didn't have the heart to reply, so she just nodded as she broke eye contact. 'I can't believe it....it's just so strange. He was always gentle with me, and kind. He saved my life several times. It's just so hard to believe. He's just......so different then the way he's portrayed in these stories.' Megan said with unease in her voice as she leaned over a bit holding herself. 'I know how you must feel, and I understand how you could be confused. To be honest, I'm quite confused myself. I also kinda curious as to why you haven't question his murdering me, when I am sitting before you living and breathing.' Aeris says with a slight giggle. Megan smiles a bit then replies 'Well, I've seen zombies walking the streets, strange monsters, a unique man who can survive falling from a building and other things such as being impaled with a rusty pipe. Not to mention the fact that he could cast some sort of magic. You know. I just kinda gave up on trying to figure out what's going on anymore.' Aeris laughed a bit, and replied 'I see. Sooo....what's the story behind this 'Sephy' thing?' Megan and Aeris laughed out loud, and so they continued to talk....

Sephiroth, and Wesker collide intensely sending a small tremor through the building beneath them. They exchange blow after blow, punches are thrown, and kicks landed. Both men going at each other like rabid dogs, Wesker jumps up with a spinning roundhouse kick knocking Sephiroth through the air. Wesker jumped trying to land a fist drop as Sephiroth rolls back and onto his feet. Wesker cracks the roof top, and receives a kick to the face for his miss. Wesker flips over landing on his head, then slowly gets up. His sunglasses are cracked down the center, and fall apart. The pieces fall to the ground revealing Wesker's eyes to them for the first time. They seem to be a reddish yellow color, and somewhat resembled a reptiles. 'That will cost you.' Wesker said as he kicked the remain of his sunglasses away, and pointed at Sephiroth. Wesker looked to his right seeing the Masamune in the ground, then returned a smile towards Sephiroth as he grabbed hold of the handle pulling it free. Holding the Masamune up Wesker admired his reflection in the slightly blood stained blade, then dashed at Sephiroth. Sephiroth leapt back dodging Wesker's swing, then side steps the next. Right then an airship begins to hover above them, Wesker's attention drawn away for a moment leaving himself open. Sephiroth side in with a kick sending Wesker back across the roof, and slamming against the helicopter. The Masamune became lodged in the side of the helicopter, and Wesker slowly got to his feet sneering evilly at Sephiroth. Sephiroth leapt through the air heading toward Wesker, but with quick reflexes and super strength Wesker ripped a pipe that was protruding from the roof out. Immediately he swung the pipe hitting Sephiroth in the stomach adding more damage, do to his still injured abdomen. Sephiroth fell to the roof, and clutched his abs in pain. Wesker grinned pulling the Masamune free from the side of the helicopter, approaching Sephiroth from behind Wesker raised the blade. 'This situation seems familiar. Oh that's right. When you killed the woman, it was somewhat like this. Aeris, was it? Well, good-bye Sephiroth.' Wesker said with his usual callous tone as he began to swing it down toward Sephiroth's back. Just them after getting back to his feet Jim grabbed the discarded pipe, and ran screaming at Wesker. Suddenly, Wesker stop the blade and stuck it out to his side. The blade pierced Jim's chest, and stood with his arms still above his head with pipe in hand. Jim looked down to that blade impaling him, and he watched his blood slowly escaping. Time seemed to slow down then as Megan screamed out in horror, and Sephiroth weakly looked back with shock in his eyes. Jim looked back up at Wesker's grinning face, and his arms dropped causing the pipe to fall on to the roof. Wesker swiftly pulled the blade out of Jim's chest, and back up laughing. Jim grabbed his chest and fell to the ground. His breathing became quick, and in desperate gasps. Sephiroth, and Megan quickly made their ways to Jim both on each side. 'No!' Megan cried out, as she held his head up. 'He'll be fine. Sephy, you can....you heal him.' Megan said sounding desperate. Sephiroth clenched his fist, and shook his head no. 'B-b-but, you have to! He'll die!' Megan basically pleaded. 'I-I can't. I have no more magic power, and even if I did it would be much too late. You can't heal a wound of this nature. The heart is much to vital, I know this because I did it someone else long ago.' Sephiroth said looking to the ground. 'Y-you...you mean he's....' Megan trailed off with tears in her eyes. Jim's eyes fluttered, and he opened them again looking up at his friends. 'D-d-don't cry, Me..g...an. I-I-I'll be...all right.' Jim forced himself to say as he was coughing constantly. Kneeling down besides Jim, Sephiroth grabbed hold of his hand as did Megan. They knew what was coming, and there was no fighting it. Megan cried endlessly as she looked down at Jim's face slowly turning pale. Coughing Jim spoke again this time with a small trickle of blood coming from his mouth 'I told....you I'd be...all....right. I-I-I don't feel any pain....at...all. I'll.....be.....fine......' His voiced trailed off as his breathing stopped, and his body turned cold. His eyes looked as if they were glass, and stared off into the dark sky above them. It was over, Jim was gone. Sephiroth reached up and slowly pushed his eyelids down closing them over his eyes. Wesker's hideous cackles echoed through the air, suddenly anchors from the airship came down and planted into the roof top. The one's from before Tidus, Yuna, Lulu, Kimahri, and Vincent slid down to the roof landing in front of Wesker as if ready to do battle. Vincent looked back with surprise seeing Sephiroth in a mourning state, and then look back to Wesker feeling the evil within him. Tidus spoke up insulting Wesker 'Hey, chump! Want to take us on? I'll kick your butt all over this city.' Wesker laughed looking at the small group standing before him between himself and Sephiroth. 'Fools, do you really want to die? You'll just end up like their little friend. A miserable lifeless corpse.' Wesker said laughing disgustingly with pride. As they were ready to attack, a booming voice stopped them in their tracks. 'NO!' the voice echoed out, and then spoke again 'He is mine!' They all turn to see Megan staring at Sephiroth whom is still looking at Jim, suddenly his attention snaps back to Wesker grinning sadistically. Slowly rising to his feet Sephiroth slowly walk out in front of Tidus and them, his face red with fury and anger. Rage flooded through his veins, as Wesker just snickered. 'What can you possibly do to me? I already proved myself superior to you. Just give up now.' Wesker said attempting to both anger him more, and to reason with him in hope of having to do less damage to his body as he needed it. Suddenly, Wesker was several feet away from where he was standing blood now flowing from his nose, looking up he seen Sephiroth standing with his fist in the air and the Masamune in his other hand. 'B-but how?!' Wesker exclaim with surprise as he returned to his feet. 'Albert Wesker, I do not know much of you. Nor do I care. You have mocked me, and killed a friend. One luxery that Jenova could never provide, and now I will make sure I make it clear for her. I now know my past, and I know that Jenova was never my mother. That past, with Jenova as her dog will never, as long as I can help it, again. Now, I will kill you like you did my friend. Behold Jenova's final gift to me.' Sephiroth said with a fierce calmness to his voice. Sephiroth held his arms out to, and looked into the sky lower his arms slowly letting his coat fall free. Sephiroth's upperbody was exposed, and something on Sephiroth's back made Megan, Tidus, and the others gasp in shock. Wesker just looked on curiously wonder what it was they were looking, and suddenly it happened. A large black wing slowly extended from his right shoulder, it stood up and the feathers ruffled with the blowing wind. **OOC: If this were a scene in a movie or a game, this is where Sephiroth's 'One Winged Angle' theme would play.** 'W-w-what is this? What the hell is going on?!' Wesker yelled out confused, and wide eyed. Looking down to the ground, Sephiroth slowly looked up at Wesker. 'This, Wesker, is a reminder of the suffrage that Jenova brought me. This is the final "gift" that she bestowed upon me, and I intend to use it. I will use it to wipe her out, and you with her. She no longer has any power over me, and with you gone....Jenova might as well be a myth from this day forward. I am the One Winged Angel, and I will deliver you into death's bony hands.' Sephiroth said in his own callous manner, with a far off look in his eyes. All stood with amazement as Sephiroth simply planted the Masamune in the roof, and slowly walked towards Wesker. Suddenly, Sephiroth dashed forward and with the wing stretched out it gave him a slight lift when he landed a powerful punch to Wesker's stomach knocking him back. Stepping forward with a small gliding jump Sephiroth kicked Wesker in the face sending him to the ground and sliding back towards the edge of the building. Wesker slowly got up staggering with his hair looking messy, and blood now coming from his lip. 'Y-y-you can't beat me!!! I am faster, stronger, and I am superior to you in every way! How can you beat me?!' Wesker screamed angrily as he looked at Sephiroth's expressionless face. 'I don't know. You can think about it on the way down.' Sephiroth hisses as he spun around with jumping back kick, it looked as if a blur came off of Sephiroth due to his speed. The kick landed hitting Wesker in the chest knocking him off the building, and his fading scream is heard as he plummets to his death. Sephiroth walked back to retrieve his coat, and the Masamune. After concealing his wing by covering it with his coat again, he sheathed the Masamune turning towards Megan still knelt by Jim's body. Sephiroth bends down, and picks Jim's body up carrying him towards Tidus' group. Megan follows behind in tears as she watch his limp arm singing freely. Sephiroth's cold expression caused shivers to travel up, and down their spines. 'Let's get out of here.' Tidus said to Sephiroth as he led them all aboard the airship now hovering next to the roof, then stepped in through a side entrance and the airship began to fly up. Flying away from the city, Sephiroth followed behind the others with Jim's corpse. Everyone on board stared with both fear, and curiosity as the tall quite warrior made his way through the corridors. They led them first to an on board morgue, and they set Jim's body in there until they were able to get back to Midgar to bury him. Megan just sat in the room they were provided with holding her knees to her chest with her back against the wall crying. Sephiroth just stood like a statue on the deck of the airship staring ahead as the wind whipped his clothes and hair around violently. Finally, Raccoon City was out of sight and behind them. They escaped the nightmare, but lost a friend. But how would Migar welcome back the evilest man they've known? Sure he's changed, but will they see it? Back in Raccoon City, on the hospital roof top..... All was quiet, but suddenly a black gloved hand grabbed hold of the edge of the roof. Pulling himself up, Wesker crawled across the roof in pain then slowly got back to his feet. Looking into the sky, he spoke to himself 'This isn't over. Not by a long shot. Sephiroth, I will have you're body for my research. I will not be denied. I WILL NOT BE DENIED!!!' Wesker screamed out, before making his way towards the helicopter.

The zombies flooded the hall, as Sephiroth swung the Masamune rapidly taking down several at a time. Jim stood in the back firing his hand gun off at ones who managed to survive being sliced apart, Megan however just stood back and watched as she was still unarmed. Finally, all motion in the hallway came to a stop, the zombies lay dead on the floor. Sephiroth turns looking back at Jim, and Megan just as he's about to speak a zombie gets up, lundging at Sephiroth's neck. It missed his neck, but bit into his shoulder. A small grunt of pain escapes Sephiroth's mouth as he elbows the zombie off, as he spun around he held the Masamun up lopping off it's head. It's body collapses, and Sephiroth grabbed hold of his shoulder, pulling his hand away he looked at his blood covered hand. A small grin crossed his face as he thought about the last time he had bleed so much, his past battle with Cloud came to mind. He remembered his face dripping of blood, and stained a crimson color before his body was once again cast deep under the earth's surface to lay dormant in the lifestream of the planet. With a snap of his wrist his blood splattered on to the wall, looking ahead he saw a door with a sign next to it. 'There....' Sephiroth said as he pointed towards the door, reading the sign 'Stairs to the roof.' Jim, and Megan smiled at each other realizing their escape from this hellish city may be near. 'I can't believe it! We're finally getting out of this nightmare!' Megan screamed excitedly as if she was a little kid again on Christmas morning. Jim laughed, and spoke 'Didn't I tell you we'd be okay?' Megan nodded, and Sephiroth smiled himself feeling the first authentic human emotion since he was reborn. However, hidden under his smile was a feeling of unease. Sephiroth sensed something was awry, he turned opening the door. The stairs we unblocked, and free of monsters of any kind. Making their up the stairs they come to the last door, it was locked, however. Sephiroth just stepped up and kicked the door off it's hinges sending the door flying back over the side of the building. Jim just looked surprised, and made a comment 'Over did it a bit, didn't ya?' The three of them walked out onto the roof, their hair blowing slightly in the wind. Looking around Jim yelled out 'Look! There it is!', their attention brought to the helicopter still on the roof. 'Ha! I was right again.' Jim said proudly with his hands on his hips. They began to approach the helicopter but suddenly stopped when they heard clapping followed by a cold, almost robotic laugh. 'Heh, heh, heh.....congratulations! I never thought you two would make it, but I suppose it's all thanks to the specimen here.' the voiced said mockingly, Sephiroth could feel his body reacting to something or someone nearby with the Jenova cells also with in their body. They all turned slowly seeing the figure of a man standing in the shadows, the outline of a smile is seen. 'Who are you?' Sephiroth demanding asked as he held the Masamune out pointed in his direction. 'It's a shame, you know nothing of me. But I know a lot about you. Yes, Jenova has told me a lot of you.' the figure coldly spoke as Sephiroth just look on angered slightly. 'Fool, you were a pawn in her plans. Made to believe you were the son of Jenova, when in fact you were nothing more then an experiment. Much like you were when I had taken a sample of your blood and injected it into myself. I wasn't quite aware of what was going to happen, something just spoke out to me. A voice. Jenova herself, I suppose. She said that she chose me, and I would have great power. In return I would destroy you for turning your back on her when she beckoned you once more.' The man behind the shadow slowly began to walk around the roof top, he stepped from the shadows and into the moonlight. He wore sunglasses, and had dark blonde hair. Dressed in a swat looking uniform, the man adjust his sunglasses with his gloved hands. Jim looked surprised, and spoke up in a confused manner 'Hey, wait a minute. I remember you. You're Albert Wesker. They said you were dead.' 'Yes, I nearly was. Thanks to William Birkin, I survived because of a virus he gave me before the mansion. It actives when it's host is at near death revitalizing them, and bring them back to life with newly enhanced abilities. After coming back from the "dead" I revisited Birkin to tell him of the success of his virus. By then, however, Umbrella had already raided his lab and caused the spread of the T-Virus through out the city. But there is something they hadn't known, that only myself and Birkin did. He had hidden his most important work, and I had come across it.' Wesker said smiling devilishly. 'My blood, the Jenova cells.' Sephiroth said with a cold tone in his voice. Wesker grinned as he look at the roof under his feet then toward Sephiroth, 'Correct. Birkin apparently had no idea exactly what it was or what it could do, but he knew there was something special about. More then just a "new blood type". That is when Jenova spoke to me, and she revealed all to me. Needless to say it made me even more powerful. Thanks to Birkin's virus and the Jenova cells I am now even stronger, and faster then you.' Wesker said proudly of his discovery. 'When I say she revealed all, I do mean ALL.' Wesker said boldly while laughing lightly. 'Heh, I must admit. I admired the old you, the memories that I seen thanks to Jenova certainly impressed me. You certainly were an evil man, more so then most if not all other villains today. I realize that those clones of you did most of the damage, and killing. But they had your will in them, they did as you would have done. They killed the way you would have, so I know what you're really like. I was very impressed that you even tried to slaughter an entire plant with a meteor.' Wesker said callously. Wesker laughed out loud, and spoke again this time in a mocking tone. 'You're weak now. You body was exposed to the lifestream for far too long. The planet decided to give you a second chance, it pushed Jenova's power over you out. Now, you're much like the respectable soldier you once were before you went mad. However, you still have Jenova's gift and I am going to take that away. I need your body, and I will take it with me whether you're alive or not. That is why I had your clone lure those whom sought to take you from here, away. Their probably dead by now.' Wesker laughed evily. 'Time to pay for the gift that you no longer deserve.' Wesker said as he quickly turned and dashed at Sephiroth. With amazing speed Wesker ran to the side of Sephiroth, and before he could react Wesker leapt up kicking Sephiroth across the roof. The Masamune fell free, and planted itself in the roof top. Jim grabbed his gun, and held it out to fire at Wesker but when he looked up there was Wesker staring down at him. With a backhand Jim was sent flying as well, his gun knocked out of his hand sent hurling off the roof top to the street below. Sephiroth got back up, and looked at Wesker challengingly. 'Come.' said Sephiroth taunting Wesker. Both simultaneously runs at each other, and their battle begins

As Sephiroth, Jim, and Megan made their way through the hospital, they heard a loud crash and the sound of steel doors falling to the floor. Spinning around the three of them looked down the hall waiting for a sign of danger, and suddenly it came in the form of a voice. 'S.T.A.R.S....!!!!!' That familiar monstrous voice called out, Sephiroth reached for the Masamune but Megan grabbed his arm. 'You can't. We know how strong you are, but right now you're just too weak to battle with that thing. You lost a lot of blood, and it's obvious that you were unable to heal yourself fully. Let's just go for the roof.' Megan begged as she tugged at him, and Jim just looked at him with a nod of agreement. As they turned and run up the steps nearby, proceeding to the second of four floors in the hospital, a shadow came from the wall at the end of the hallway. The shapeless shadow spoke in the Nemesis' voice again 'S.T.A.R.S...!!!!', then it slowly began to take shape. Suddenly, from around the corner came several people. As they came into the hallway's light, they could be seen as Tidus, Yuna, Lulu, Vincent, Yuffie, and Cid. They all stopped as they stared ahead, Vincent, Yuffie, and Cid seemed frozen in fear. As if they've seen a ghost. 'Sephiroth I presume.' Tidus suddenly called out, and the formally shapeless shadow turned around it's appearance now that of Sephiroth's. It's eyes burned a hole through Tidus, when suddenly a false looking smile crosses it's face. Meanwhile on the second floor..... Sephiroth's body tingled a bit as he felt that same old familiar feeling, the one of something calling out to him. Megan again tugged on his arm, and they continued on. Jim, looked out the window seen a group of people making their way down the street. Among them he noticed a man whom look exactly like Sephiroth. 'What the hell is going on here?' Jim said out loud. Megan responded with a concerned tone in her voice 'What's up? What did you see?' Looking out the window Megan seen it too, and Sephiroth himself look. He's expression turned to one of anger, and he uttered the word 'Jenova...' as he gritted his teeth. Looking at the group he had seen the familiar enemies of his. Yuffie, Cid, and of course Vincent. Sephiroth just walked down the hall towards another set of steps, but Megan called out to him. 'Wait!' she yelled, and Sephiroth came to halt looking back. 'Shouldn't we warn them that he's a fake?' she continued. Sephiroth just shook his head, and spoke 'No need, they'll be fine.' 'How do you know?' Jim asked suspiciously as if Sephiroth was hiding something. 'Three of those people helped to put me in the ground, and I know they can handle a simple clone stirred up by mot.h..er..Jenova.' the response he got was cold, and undetailed just leaving them to wonder more. 'Let's move on.' Sephiroth spoke again, and Jim and Megan quickly followed behind. Making their way up to the third floor they came to a hallway full of zombie patients, nurses, and doctors. Preparing to battle, the stood as the horde of undead flesh eating mindless drones stumbled towards them. Back on the airship...... Now, high above the ground in the air the airship began to make it's way back toward Midgar. Everyone was resting in their rooms, and Tidus talking with Yuna by the windows just below the deck. Vincent stood with his arms folded leaning against the wall listening to Cid, and Yuffie talking. 'What are there people crazy? They're just letting Sephiroth aboard after all we've told them about him?' Cid yelled out clenching his fist, and Yuffie nodded in agreement then spoke herself 'What will Cloud do when he see Sephiroth? He'll go nuts! There'll be a huge fight in Migar! What is Sephiroth decides to go on a killing spree again?' Vincent suddenly chimed in 'I felt Sephiroth presence back there. But now I don't feel it anymore.' Cid, and Yuffie looked at Vincent puzzled. 'What the hell are you talking about?' Cid yelling obviously demanding an answer. Vincent looked to the floor, then stood straight up looking directly at them. 'What I'm saying is this: That thing that we got onboard is not Sephiroth. I think it's like before. There we're clones of Sephiroth running around, and I think that think is one.' he declared. 'We've got to warn the others!' Yuffie cried out, and the three of them nodded together in agreement as they began to leave their quarters the alarm began to go off. Red lights flashed, and flicked as a frantic announcement came over the PA system from Cid, Rikku's father. 'Everyone, get to the bridge! HURRY! That weirdo with the black coat is trying to kill us!!' Everyone gathered quickly at the bridge doors, and proceed through catching the clone Sephiroth raising it's sword above Rikku's father's, Cid, head. 'Hey, you! What do you think you're doing? We helped you, and this is how you repay us? We should have listened to Vincent, Cid, and Yuffie about you.' Tidus yelled out clenching his sword tightly in his hand. 'It's not him. It's not Sephiroth!' Yuffie yelled out, but only received a confused look from the others unfamiliar with Sephiroth, Jenova, and everything else they've experienced. 'We can't explain right now, but that thing is a clone.' Vincent said as they all looked at each other. Suddenly, their attention was brought back to the clone as they heard laughing. The clone turned to face them, and grinned evilly. 'Fools..' it spoke coldly then continued 'You're much to late to rectify your error. My master knew of your arrival, and he knew you were either there to take Sephiroth away or kill him. That just could not happen. My master has plans for Sephiroth now that he's rejected the orders of Jenova. Jenova live through another son, one whom is grateful for his gift. I am to remove you from the city, and when we got far away from Sephiroth, I am to kill you. Now is that time, prepare yourselves for a painful death.' The clone raised it's arms to the ceiling laughing like a madman, suddenly it attacks knocking Yuffie aside with a backhand. Dashing right for Tidus it raises it's sword up ready to strike him down, Tidus must act quickly of surely it'll be the end for him.

As the Lickers leapt through the air at the shrieking Megan, Sephiroth dash in front of them immediately swinging the Masamune. A couple lickers were sliced in half, and died instantly however the remaining six now knew of Sephiroth's position. As the two lickers closest to Sephiroth attack, the two in the back suddenly turned hearing the click of Jim's gun as he began to fire bullets into their flesh. Sephiroth impales a licker's flicking tongue against the wall as it swats at him, just as he tries to pull the Masamune free the other licker pounces him. Sephiroth using his weight to throw the licker over his head, and quickly returns to his feet swiftly kicking the licker in the face. Jim on the other side of the room fires a bullet hitting one of his licker's exposed brain, it dies writhing in agony as the other leaps at Jim. Rolling to the side, Jim dodges the attack causing the licker to hit the wall. Turning as he fires his gun, three bullets hit the licker in the chest, small spurts of blood fly through the air as it falls on it's back flailing about. Jim turns watching Sephiroth's battling with the other licker, as the other remains with it's tongue pinned against the wall via the Masamune. The licker jumps, avoiding it Sephiroth jumps up as the licker hits the floor under him, as he comes down Sephiroth stomps the lickers head with both feet. It's head pops like a grape under pressure. As Sephiroth finishes his final licker, he turns back looking to Jim then toward Megan as does Jim. Both look surprised however, as they witness Megan beating the trapped licker with one of the waiting room chairs. The licker cries out in pain as she slams the chair against it's head repeatedly, while yelling angrily at it. 'You stupid...' she screams hitting it, then as she raises the chair again she yells again 'Icky thing!' Megan this time just throws the chair at the dazed licker, and it's screeches. Breathing heavily, she falls down into a siting position as the licker stumbles trying to get up. Suddenly, the licker bites through it's own tongue and turns towards the sound of Megan's heavy breathing. Megan screams again as she watches the licker crawling at her with it's own blood flowing from it's mouth. Just as it's about to strike the Masamune impales it through the back out of no where, it's severed tongue still on the blade. Megan kicks the licker in the head as she leans back on her hands, finally the crimson creature lays dead. Sephiroth pulls the Masamune free, and sheaths it once more looking down at the deceased licker. Jim, and Sephiroth both then look at Megan as she's smiling. 'We really kicked their asses didn't we?' Megan said with a confident grin on her face. 'Yeah, we sure did.' Jim replied laughing, then spoke again 'Hey, what happened to the cowering girl who kept saying we were going die?' Megan punches Jim in the arm, and speaks while holder her fist up to his face 'Hey, don't make me beat you like that thing.' 'Heh, I guess beating that licker half to death really pumped you up. If I didn't know any better, I would think you had several cups of sugar.' Jim replies as he rubs his arm. 'This helicopter, it should be on the roof. Should it not?' Sephiroth asks as he brushes the fragments of the one licker's skull off his coat. 'Yeah, should be.' Jim replies. Sephiroth turns towards the door, and opens it. Looking back he waved for Megan, and Jim to follow. Out the door, they made their way down the hall. Corpses are lining the halls, all apparently remaining dead. Most of their heads were missing, and the ones still with head had large gashes in their necks and chests. It looked as if a tiger had gotten loose in the hospital. 'Lickers?' Jim said questionably toward Sephiroth. Sephiroth just looked at Jim, and shook his head. 'I do not think so. The creatures that did this leave claw marks that differ from those licker creatures. I fear it is something much more dangerous.' Sephiroth said with his usual cold tone. 'That's just great.' Megan said as she followed them. Suddenly, they come to a stop seeing a bloody man limping around the corner ahead. It was obvious that he was no zombie, but something was not right. The man tried to move quicker as if being chased by something, but as he turned the corner a large green scaly monster leaps through the air. It screeches as it holds it's claw out, as the man turns to scream in fear it's claw slices his head off. The man's now headless body falls to the floor, as the reptilian looking ape let out a victory cry. 'What is that?' Megan screamed. Jim immediately responded 'A hunter. I remember seeing one back at the lab. Very dangerous.' 'Well, get ready, because it seen us.' Sephiroth said as he gripped the handle of the Masamune. Jim, and Megan look back again watching the hunter approaching them slowly. It's feet's nails make a loud clicking, and it's claw occasionally scraping the wall. Suddenly the hunter leaps at them screeching, Sephiroth quickly pulls the Masamune from it's sheath and swings it up wards at the hunter. The hunter lands behind Sephiroth, in front of Megan and Jim. It raises it's claw ready to attack when it suddenly splits in half, down the middle. Megan whips the sweat from her head, then hugged onto Sephiroth's arm. 'We'd be dead if it weren't for you Sephy.' Megan said smiling. Jim just patted Sephiroth on the back 'So much from very dangerous.' 'Well, I suggest we get moving. Once we get out of this damn city I'm going to take a vacation or something.' Jim said. Together Megan, and Sephiroth nod as they begin to go move through the hospital looking for a way to the roof.

Nearly an hour passed, and still in the sewers Megan came to a complete stop cause Sephiroth to almost knock her over. Bumping into Megan, Sephiroth grabbed her shoulder to keep her on her feet. She looked back and nodded in appreciation then called out to Jim a couple feet ahead of them. 'Jim!' Megan called out as he turned looking back, he spun around walking back towards Sephiroth and Megan. 'What is it? Something wrong?' Jim asked looking slightly worried, but Megan just spoke sternly 'We've been walking around these nasty sewers for almost an hour now! Do you even know where we're going?' Jim's face turned red, and he began to stutter looking something to say. Bringing his hand to his face, Jim wiped his mouth off as he said something. Muffled by his arm, Megan just asked 'What was that?' Jim looking agitated now threw his arms up, and spoke 'Don't blame me if we're lost! I was following Sephiroth.' Sephiroth's attention was brought to Jim's pointing finger, raising his right eye brow slightly Sephiroth answered his blame 'I was behind you two, idiot.' 'EXACTLY!' Jim exclaimed as an embarrassed smile crossed his face, then he continued 'That's why it seems like we're going in circles. I'm following him, and you two are following me. See? So it's not my fault we're lost.' Megan made an angry growl as she shoved Jim aside, and walked ahead of him looking around the tunnels. Jim turned watching her and spoke again pointing behind himself towards 'His fault!' Suddenly, a hard smack to the back of the head almost knocks Jim off his feet but he stays standing, looking to his side he watches as Sephiroth walks past him as well making a comment of his own 'Nice try.' Sephiroth, and Jim join Megan looking down the tunnels ahead. 'Wait, I just remembered. I think it's this way.' Jim said proudly. Sephiroth just smirked at Jim and replied 'I guess that smack knocked some sense into you.' As Sephiroth turned away to look at Megan, Jim stuck his tongue out at him. Jim jumped as Sephiroth spoke again 'Do that again, and I'll cut it out.' Sephiroth walked ahead down the right tunnel with Megan following closely behind. Jim stood with his mouth hanging open. 'How..how...how'd you know? HEY! Wait up!' Jim said as he run up behind them as they continued looking for the manhole closest to the hospital. As they reached an open area, the could see a large pool of sewage water bellow them as they stood on a catwalk. 'There!' Jim point ahead at a ladder leading up, as sign left for workers was taped to the wall. Sephiroth stopped on the catwalk letting Megan, and Jim go first. He stood back and watched as Megan read the note: [quote]In case of injury, and medical attention is needed. Up this ladder is an entrance for exclusive use of Umbrella employees. Ask for Dr.Michaels, he will not ask any question in the event of an 'abnormal' injury.[/quote] 'So....there must be another Umbrella lab nearby. That's strange, I never knew about this. I only knew of the two. The one I was in, and the one back at the mansion where we found you, Sephiroth.' Jim said as he thought to himself, the continued 'That's means it must be under the police station. I always heard that Umbrella had Chief Irons in their control, and not I know he must have been keeping people away from it. Ah well, we just need to get the hell out of here now. Shall we?' Jim asked. Megan grabbed onto the ladder ready to climb when suddenly, they heard a roar. They looked around frantically, and Jim spoke loudly 'NO! Can't be! It must be Nemesis!' Megan grabbed onto Sephiroth's arm shaking in fear, 'Not him again.' she cried out. Then they heard it speak, however it wasn't the usual 'S.T.A.R.S...' This time it roared out a name, 'SHHHEEEERRRRRRRRRYYYY!!!!' it called out in a rage. 'It sounds different.' Jim said. From the shadows behind them, a large creature creep up. It looked almost human, but it was apparently no longer so. It stepped onto the catwalk grabbing the rail next to itself, and with brute force it tore it off. Upon hearing the sound the trio turned to see the creature, it's appearance revolting in every way. A huge eye ball peered out from under the flesh of it's left arm, it looked straight at them then shut again. Jim just observed the monsters face until it hit him! He knew who it was, a scientist whom been in his lab to collect Sephiroth's blood sample. 'D-D-Dr.Birkin? Dr. William Birkin?' Jim stammered as he tried to speak as calmly as possible. The creature, apparently the former William Birkin, gave no recollection of Jim and began to stalk them on the narrow catwalk. The mutated William Birkin raised the steel pipe ready smash Jim, but he quickly fired at it slowing it's approach down. Jim ran out of ammo just as Birkin swung at him trying to take his head off, but suddenly the gloved hand of Sephiroth grabbed Jim by the collar yanking him out of the way. Shoving Jim, and Megan behind himself Sephiroth spoke intimidatingly 'I'll take care of this.' Jim, and Megan ran back a bit to give Sephiroth room. In a flash Sephiroth unsheathed the Masamune, and stood prepared to battle. Birkin swung the pipe, and Sephiroth raised the sword to block the attack. He did, but Birkin was a lot more powerful then initially thought to be causing Sephiroth to stagger back but keep his guard up. Birkin continued to slam the pipe against the Masamune, the blade was unbreakable but the pipe was not. It was slowly being cut down, it's edge not sharp and narrow like a blade itself. Finally, becoming enrage Sephiroth steps forward slashing Birkin across the chest, the stepped in again bring the Masamune back around this time cutting his face. Sephiroth leapt back as Birkin brought the pipe down trying to crush him, but immediately following up Sephiroth jumped forward kicking Birkin in the chin. Staggering back, Birkin swung the pipe knocking the Masamune away. It flew from Sephiroth's hand, and plunged into a concrete wall nearby. Birkin quickly stabbed at Sephiroth, the sharp tip of the pipe piercing his flesh. Sephiroth grabbed the pipe as he felt it pushing through his stomach, he stopped the pipe from going any deeper by Birkin did not give up it's attempts in impaling Sephiroth. As the pain became unbearable a past memory gave him an idea, remembering the kid with the spiky blonde hair, known to him as Cloud. Sephiroth grabbed the pipe, and with all of his inhuman strength lifted Birkin off the catwalk with the very pipe lodged in his gut. With a quick turn Sephiroth dumped Birkin off of the catwalk into the murky sewage infested waters below. Collapsing to one knee still holding the pipe as it rest in his flesh, Jim and Megan ran to his side. Sephiroth grunted, and groaned in pain as his blood flowed out as if it were traveling through a faucet. Megan cried believing that Sephiroth might die, Jim just frantically tried to cover the end of the pipe to keep the blood in. Sephiroth just shoved Jim's hand away and stood up quickly staggering away, as Jim and Megan watched with concern in their eyes a shriek of agony echoed through the sewers as Sephiroth grabbed the pipe with force. With one swift motion Sephiroth ripped the pipe from his stomach, and immediately collapsed to his knees. The blood flowed faster, Megan screamed out in horror. 'What the hell are you doing?! You're going to kill yourself!' Jim screamed out as he reached for some bandages in his side pocket. Megan feel to her knees, herself now trying to stop Sephiroth's blood flow with his hand. But her hand was too small, and hardly helped at all. As she watched her attempt failing she covered her mouth with her other gasping in shock. All though he seemed to be on the brink of death, Sephiroth did not seem to show any emotion. Fighting to stand on his feet Sephiroth slowly raised his arms, and the same blue aura from before began to flow through his body. However it didn't look quite as strong. Jim, and Megan assumed it was because of how weak he was. But Sephiroth knew he was using the last of his magic. The hole in Sephiroth's stomach slowly closed, and the blood flow ceased. Megan began to cry tears of joy and Jim said also had a grin on his face. Both assuming thing would be okay, but they we mistaken. Sephiroth's wound was healed, however his had run out of magic power before it could fully heal. A large bruise was in the place of the hole, and Sephiroth could still feel the pain. Moving was hard enough, but even the slightest breath hurt him now. However, not wanting to worry Jim or Megan anymore Sephiroth stood straight up and tried to ignored the pain as he smiled back at them. Megan tried to hug him again, but Sephiroth stopped her and made an excuse that he didn't want to get any more blood on her. She smiled anyway, and Sephiroth waved his her and Jim ahead to proceed up the ladder. As they began to climb up the ladder Sephiroth pulled the Masamune from the wall, and clutched his stomach as he sheathed it. Finally, all three of them were up the ladder and inside the hospital the room was dark, but it was obviously a secret waiting room for Umbrella employees. Jim switched on a light, and the room was lit up. To their surprised the room made Sephiroth's blood loss look like a small trickle. The walls were stained with blood, the roof dripped crimson, and ravaged corpses clutter the floors. Megan jumped at the sight, and gripped onto Sephiroth's waist. He grunted, and shook from the immense pain. Megan stepped back looking Sephiroth in the face as he tried to hide his pain filled expression, her eyes teared up as she spoke 'You're still hurt.' 'Forget it...' Sephiroth said coldly, and began to walk forward towards a nearby door. Jim stood still shaking he was on the edge, and ready to snap. Megan looked at Jim, and asked 'What's the matter?' Jim slowly turned his head, and gritted his teeth as he put a finger to his mouth insisting that Megan be quiet. All three look up in unison to see eight lickers hanging from the ceiling! Jim pulled him handgun out, and as quietly as he could reloaded it. Sephiroth withdrew the Masamune again, and stood ready to strike down any of the creatures in the event of an attack. Megan still unarmed just slowly backed away, but unbeknownst to her a body was in her path of retreat. Tripping over the corpse in Megan falls on her back, on the way down she lets out a scream immediately alerting the lickers to her presence. Thank to the lickers being blind, they can only go by hearing. Jim, and Sephiroth was still unnoticed. But would they be able to help Megan? The lickers all leapt off of the ceiling approaching Megan, and he screams of fear didn't help her chances either.

Returning to the streets, Sephiroth lead Jim and Megan around the city. Aimlessly the wandered, keeping on the move as to not get cornered by any monsters. It seemed hopeless, but just then Jim remembered something and came up with an idea. A plan that could get them out of the city, quickly Jim ran in front of Sephiroth and turned to him and Megan. 'Wait! I just remembered something, and it may just be what we need to escape.' Jim declared with pride. 'Really?! YAY!' Megan screamed out in pure delight as she pulled on Sephiroth's coat. Like usually Sephiroth just watched them, then spoke up 'Well, what is it? I'm immune to the virus in this city thanks to the cells I poses in my body, but you two aren't. So hurry up, and tell us what it is.' Jim's expression became serious again, and he told them of his plan 'Well, you see the Raccoon City Hospital is near by. On the roof is a helipad used to land helicopters when transporting organs for those in need. Now, it's not a full proof plan....but it's the best chance we've got. The helicopter is usually left on the roof top at night, and unless there is an overnight emergency it's never moved.' Megan eyes grew wide, and she screamed out laughing 'So we use the helicopter to fly out of this disgusting place, and to safety? Haha!!! This is wonderful!' Suddenly, Sephiroth felt a chill running up his spine. A familiar feeling coursed through his body, feeling as if something was calling him. Looking around Sephiroth sees nothing in area, and realizes that he had zoned off. His attention was brought back with Megan's calling of his pet name given to him by her 'Sephy! Sephy? Sephy?!' Snapping back to attention Sephiroth looks at Jim, and Megan staring at him. 'Hey, man, what's wrong with you? I never seen you looking like this....like you've seen a ghost or something.' Jim said with slight concern in his voice. Sephiroth clutches the Masamune tightly, and speaks 'I just have a feeling we're not alone...something is watching us right now. So I think we should get moving.' 'Agreed.' Jim, and Megan said simultaneously, then they began to walk down the road. Coming to a large intersection, it was blocked off by a large traffic pile up. The large mountain of twisted steel, was burning in a raging inferno. The way to the hospital was blocked off, and all though Sephiroth could easily maneuver through the flames Jim, and Megan could not. His magic came to mind, but he could feel that he was running low on magic power at the moment and he wanted to save it for a necessary time. 'We're going to have to find a way around this mess.' Megan said as she stood behind Sephiroth shielding her flesh from the heat. Jim, turned back and spoke 'Hmm...how about under?' He said as he pointed at a manhole lid, and immediately walked towards it. Jim tried to lift it, but he couldn't pull it up with a tool of some kind. 'DAMN! I guess we're s**t out of luck..' Jim said as he stood there breathing heavily, but he's surprised as he sees Sephiroth's blade go right through the manhole cover. Sephiroth swipes at it horizontally, then vertically. The manhole cover remain together then suddenly, it split apart in four pieces falling into the sewer. A loud metal bang is heard as a piece of the manhole cover hit's the cement walk below, but the other pieces splash into the water. 'So much for that....well....ladies first!' Jim slyly smiled at Megan who just shook her head, but without a word Sephiroth jumped down. Waiting about Jim, and Megan looked into the darkness below. 'Hey, Sephy, you see anything down there?' Megan called out, but received no reply at first. Jim just waved her to follow as he began to climb down into the sewer, and Megan did so after Jim made it down. Looking over they found Sephiroth read a note, it had been torn in half and blood stained the page. The ink was a bit runny, but it was still legible. 'What do ya' got there?' Jim asked as he approached Sephiroth, but he only handed him the paper. Jim looked at it, and read it out loud: [quote][i]I was separated from the rest of U.B.C.S. (Umbrella Biohazard Countermeasure Service ), and now I'm stranded in these damned sewers. I've heard that there is a giant alligator living under the streets in these sewers, but so far it's just a rumor. I haven't even caught a glimpse of such a thing, so lady luck is on my side so far. Bah, I might as well just stay here for the time being, so far I don't see any zombies or monsters of any kind. It must be one of the few places not yet reached by the creatures. I encountered "Nemesis" before I had gotten here, to this spot in the sewers. If I didn't know about it, I would have probably ran into it and tried to take it on. But in the end I'd only become infect, and turned into zombies like the rest of the city. If it is still walking around in the city, its mission is not yet over. S.T.A.R.S. (Special Tactics And Rescue Squad) members must be very tough since they have survived until this point. However, they cannot hold out forever. I did, however, see something else. A tall human looking being, but it couldn't be. Apparently, Nemesis is being preoccupied with that 'man' because I witnessed them battling on the roof top of the old RPD building, his white hair and strange blue eyes were unusual. His hair was naturally white, that's not something you see everyday or ever to my knowledge...and those eyes...they were just eerie. That man seemed to posses great strength, and even survived a fall from the roof. I wonder if he was Umbrella's doing as well...[/i][/quote] 'Umbrella's doing? Those son's of....somehow I'm not surprised. Someone f**ked up, and must have caused a leak with the virus. Hmm...that creature with the staples in it's face....it kept saying 'S.T.A.R.S.' I suppose that was Nemesis. I should have known about the Nemesis though. I heard they had created a monster with the sole purpose to destroy the S.T.A.R.S. team. Well, I think we should get going. We need to get to the hospital, and then get that helicopter.' Jim said as Megan just listen confused by it all. As they began to walk through the sewers, Sephiroth had noticed a change in the waters movement. It splashed around irregularly, then he stop and waved the others ahead of him. The slowly walk ahead, but not to far looking back as Sephiroth watched the water. Suddenly, as large alligator erupts through the sewer water! It's jaws open wide, and try to snap shut on Sephiroth but he catches it's mouth before it can shut. He pushes it's jaw open to keep from being eaten, Sephiroth push off and jumps back avoiding it's shutting trap. Pulling the Masamune from it's sheath, Sephiroth swings the blade taking off a chunk of it's flesh. It roars, and sinks back into the water. 'Run!' Sephiroth yells at Jim, and Megan but they don't want to leave him. He yells at them to go, but Jim just pulls his gun out, and Megan picks up a pipe laying on the concrete walk. 'We're not leaving you.' Jim replied as he pointed his gun at the water. Looking at the water the alligator appears to be gone, but just as they were easing up it popped out in front of Megan and snaps at her. It misses her flesh, but it's teeth hook her denim vest pulling her screaming into the water. Without another thought, both Jim and Sephiroth jumped into the water. Under the murky water, they spot Megan squirming to get free. She did, but the alligator opens it jaw and tries to swallow her whole. Swimming quickly, Sephiroth shoved her away and alligator shuts it mouth on him. With one gulp, Sephiroth was gone swallowed and traveling to it's stomach. Even under water Megan's shriek was heard as she witness it, and she swam up and climbed back onto the walk way as did Jim following. 'It ate Sephy!' Megan screamed as she slammed her back against the wall, and Jim joined her. The alligator apparently still not full crawled it's way out of the water, and onto the walkway stalking Megan and Jim as the slowly backed away. Just as it opened it's mouth again to chomp on them, it's began to stagger and it's mouth began to fill with blood. 'What the hell is wrong with it?' Jim yelled out, but Megan only screamed think it was Sephiroth's blood. Suddenly, it's back sprayed blood all over the walls like a volcano. A metallic shimmer is seen extruding from it's back, as the blood runs off a long blade is seen ripping through it's skin. There a bloody Sephiroth stands up, and leaps out of the alligators back and brings the sword down impaling it through the skull. Pulling him blade free, Sephiroth halts Megan from trying to hug him then leaps into the water. The murky water turned dark red, and Sephiroth climbed back out now free of the alligators blood. Megan immediately hugged Sephiroth, and he just stood there looking annoyed. 'Let's just get out of here, because this place is really starting to get on my nerves.' Sephiroth his angrily. 'With pleasure!' Jim replied. Megan just clenched her arms tighter around Sephiroth, and refused to let go. 'Please, let me go.' Sephiroth asked, but Megan shooker her head 'no'. 'You might get eaten again.' Megan said with sad sounding voice. 'Please' Sephiroth asked again, but Megan just replied 'Nope.' This went on for several more minutes until Sephiroth gave up, and just drug her along while she held onto him.

Didn't you read the sign up? :drunk: :nervous: :rolleyes: It wasn't his fault our battle took so long. He's just trying to be nice and allow a few simulatneous fights to accomodate everyone who says they're bored or have writers block. My advice is this. If your bored, make up an interesting story like others have done or find people to interact with. That's kinda the point of a text driven game. :worried:

Making their way down the back alleys, Jim and Megan were exhausted but they had to go on. A single moment of rest could cause their death on the streets of Raccoon City, they needed a place to rest for a little while. Looking around they could see no place remotely safe looking, but something caught Megan's eye. Looking up at the clock tower standing tall, she seen someone standing on the balcony with a long black coat blowing in the wind. 'Jim! Look!' Megan said as she yanked on Jim's arm, looking up Jim seen the figure too. 'It might be Sephy! Let's go get him!' Megan yelled with excitement. Jim just nodded his head, and in they went. The clock tower was empty, and surprisingly no zombies roamed the halls. However, there was a creature new to them watching from above. Crawling on the ceiling, it's presence unknown to them. Megan ran ahead of Jim a bit, and came to the balcony where she saw the figure. Upon arriving there, she looked around the balcony and found what it was they seen. What she saw shattered her hopes, it was nothing more then a statue with a black cloth stuck to it. 'No! This can't be!' Megan said as she fell to her knees, Jim finally caught up and stood next to her looking around. 'So where is he?' Jim asked, Megan just pointed at the statue and Jim sighed. 'Well...it's not what we were looking for. But, you know this clock tower does seem safe enough. We could rest here for a little bit.' Jim said as he kneeled down next to her placing his hand on her shoulder. Megan just sobbed, and nodded as she simply replied 'Okay.' Jim got up, and walked to the balcony rail looking down at the city below. Fires raged uncontrollably, mobs of the living dead are seen fighting over freshly killed prey, strange creatures such as lickers seen crawling walls in the distance. The city had turned into nightmare, one of which no one could ever awaken from. 'We've got to get out of this damned city, but how?' Jim questioned himself out loud. Megan just sighed again, and placed her hand on the rail pulling herself up. 'We don't.' Megan replied with tears rolling down her face, and she continued 'We die here, in this city.' 'Stop that!' Jim yelled at Megan, then spoke again 'We'll make it, we'll get out of this place. You'll see.' Megan just shook her head, and cried into her hands. Just as Jim tried to pat her on the back, a rock falls from above and hits the rail next to them. Both of them jump, and look towards the rail frightened out of their minds. Then, just as they began to think it was just the wind blowing a loose piece of rubble off the stone structure, they heard a familiar voice. 'S.T.A.R.S...' the voice bellowed out, and simultaneously Jim and Megan look at each other then to the roof above. There stood the large creature from before, it's purplish tentacle swayed freely from it's hand pulsing with the plague that created so many monsters. It's coat swayed slightly as it just looked down upon them, then suddenly without warning it drops down in front of them. Shock, and fear etched on their faces. Reacting as quickly as he could Jim pulled his pistol free, and fired off a couple bullets. All made contact, but did little to slow it's approach as it menacingly stalked them on the semi small balcony. Coming right up to Jim the creature back handed him, and he fell over the rail. Luckily he managed to grab the rail on the way over, looking down he began to pull him self up quickly. The monster stood by Jim looking down as he swayed helplessly, it raised it's arms ready to smash the rail and Jim together. But Megan grabs Jim's loose gun, and fired randomly at the beast. Her aim was bad, and most of the shots missed but the ones that hit were enough to piss it off. It turned and roared, with another backhand the monster sent Megan against the wall. Now stalking Megan it grabbed her by the throat lifting her into the air, it's free hand inches from her face, the tentacle teasingly swaying about her face. She cried, and gripped at the monsters hand trying to pull free but it was impossible. Jim had pulled himself over, and if he wanted to save Megan he would have to react quickly. Looking around he found a bag of cement mix and sitting next to it was a trowel (a tool used to spread cement mix), quickly grabbing the trowel Jim ran right up and plunged it into it's back. With a roar it's tentacle retracted and it tossed Megan away as it swung around knocking Jim away as well. Jim flew back, and landed next to Megan, and both watched as the creature spun around trying to remove the trowel from it's back. 'What the hell does it take to stop this thing?!' Jim yelled as his eyes grew wide with shock, Megan just looked below the creature seeing a puddle of water. Apparently it was spilled by the worker(s) trying to repair the damages to the stone structure. Megan turned back, and looked towards a spotlight on the balcony shinning brightly in the sky. Grabbing the wire she pulled as hard as she could, the light went out as the wire was ripped from it's base. Just as the creature finally pulled the trowel free, she smiled slyly at it then tossed the wire into the puddle around the monsters feet. As it touched the water electricity surged through the beasts body, sparks began to fly and the monster roared out in immense pain. Finally, the wire shorted out and the electrical current stopped flowing, the monster fell to it's knees now with smoke emitting from it's body. Just as it feel over, it once again muttered 'S.T.A.R.S....' It laid, body twitching, seemingly dead. Jim stood up, and smiled at Megan then spoke 'Smart thinking. Now let's get out of here before it wakes up.' 'What? But I fried the sucker! He can't come back from that.' Megan declared, but Jim cut her off 'No, it's not over. Trust me! So far it's been shocked twice, impaled, shot the hell out of, and only God knows what else happened to it. But it just keeps coming. Let's go!' Megan didn't say another word, and both of them went back inside the clock tower then began to head down. As they ran down the hall, they heard something else thumping around on the ceiling. Now, it's presence was know as the creature dropped down on top of Megan. 'HOLY S**T!!!' Jim screamed out as he seen a huge spider trying to nip at Megan. Megan tried with all her might to push it off, but all she was doing was keeping it from biting her, which is still better then nothing. Suddenly, the giant spider spewed a sticky green liquid into Megan's face. She coughed as it gagged her, and made her feel sick. Megan has been poisoned, and she laid under the spider weakening but Jim stepped in. Running up to the spider Jim kicked it as hard as he could knocking it off and onto it's back. Jim grabbed Megan, and puller her towards the door but it was stuck shut by a huge web that was not their before. Reaching for his gun, Jim felt nothing then looked back toward the spider squirming to roll over. His gun lays to the side of the spider, he had dropped it due to the force he put in his kick. Running over he reaches for his gun, but the spider quickly flips over back onto it's feet. It snaps at Jim, and barley misses. Crawling back Jim tries to get away from the spider, finally coming to the door again he just sits next to Megan who is now unconscious. The spider slowly approached it's prey now cornered, it stood on it's back legs and hissed at Jim. Just as things were looking bleak again, the roof came down and Sephiroth with it. His sword plunged through the spider, and with a twist it died screeching horridly. It's green blood oozed over the hallway's carpet, and on the sword's blade. Once again Sephiroth was there to save them, but Megan now laid sick, poisoned by the spider's sticky venom. Sephiroth left his blade impaled in the spider, and stuck in the floor to make his way to Megan. 'I hope it's not too late.' Sephiroth said as he raised his arms as a green aura emitted from his body. Jim kneeled by Megan, and watched as the green aura traveled from Sephiroth's body over Megan's. The poison was removed from Megan's body, but it had already done damage. Megan laid motionless still, and Jim hung his head in sorrow. Sephiroth just stared at her emotionless expression as she laid there, he shook his head and then raised his arms again. This time a blue aura flowed from his hands as Sephiroth kneeled down next to Megan, and lifted her upper body placing his hand over her heart. Finally, he stopped and she still didn't move. It looked as if she was gone, but suddenly she coughed and gagged as the air filled her lungs again. Sephiroth has healed her, and prevented her death. Looking up, she saw Jim smiling down at her from the left, she smiled back then realized he wasn't the one holding her. Looking to her right she sees Sephiroth with half of a smile across his face, she hugged him and cried because of her near death experience. All she could say was 'Thank you, Sephy.' After resting for a little while, they finally decided to leave. Megan was able to stand again, and Sephiroth pulled the Masamune from the spiders corpse. Walking to the door he swings the sword, and the hinges were cut off then another cut removed the giant web. The door fell out of the frame, and onto the floor with a simple gesture, Sephiroth motioned for Jim and Megan to follow.

The trio of Jim, Megan, and Sephiroth made their way down the monster infested streets. Little could stand in their way with the almighty Sephiroth leading the way, however he was become agitated by Jim whom kept making remarks about how he killed dozens of people already. Jim just couldn't understand why he was helping them, but at the same time even Sephiroth didn't understand why he couldn't just kill them like the others. 'You know, I'm still a little weary of trusting a murder like you. I mean you did kill all of those people back at the lab, and God only knows how many others along the way. Not only that but you tried to kill me back in the lab too! How can we trust you?' Jim asked with a bit of mockery in his voice. 'Shut up! You're a meany! So far Sephy's been a nice guy, it's only until you came along that he's gotten mean. What did you do to him?' Megan yelled angrily at Jim, and slapped him in the shoulder. 'Ow! Hey, why'd you hit me? I'm not the one who slaughtered tons of people in a lab! I'm the one that he tried to burn with his weird Voodoo powers, I'm the one who had to see my coworkers die, I'm the one who got b***h slapped through a store window!' Jim turned to yell at Megan, but suddenly he felt something grab him by the throat and slam him back against a nearby wall. Looking at Jim with anger in his eyes, Sephiroth closed his head around his throat tightly. Megan screamed and grabbed Sephiroth's arm trying to get him off, but she was too weak. Sephiroth just leaned closer to Jim's face as he gasped for air, then he spoke. 'You are a fool. I could have killed you by now, and I would have. I would have killed both of you, and the rest of humanity as I once tried before. But now...something is different. I can't kill you, or her. But if you must know, I killed almost everyone in the lab because most of them were infected. They would have turned into these mindless zombies. I did them a favor, and you will be the first that I kill if I can figure out what is wrong with me.' His words were cold, and he seemed to be serious about everything he said. Pulling Jim off the wall he tossed him on the street coughing, and gasping for air. Megan ran to Jim's side, and checked on him then looked at Sephiroth. 'Why?' was all that Megan could ask. Sephiroth just turned his back, and walked away. 'That is the question I've been asking myself lately.' Sephiroth says as he walks off leaving Megan, and Jim alone to fend for themselves. 'Come back! We need you!' Megan called out, but it was too late he had all ready disappeared in the shadows of the night. Jim slowly stood up as Megan walked towards the area Sephiroth headed, grabbing her by the arm Jim turned her around. 'Wait, you can't follow him. He's long gone by now.' he said looking slightly embarrassed now. Suddenly, Jim's head was turned to the side Megan's hand left an imprint on his face. Tear began to flow from her eyes, and she slapped him again. 'You idiot!!! He was our only chance to live, and get out of this nightmare of a city! I'm too young to die! It's your fault!' Megan screamed again as she began slapping him more, but Jim grabbed her arms and looked at her. 'Look, I know it was my fault. But we're not going to die. I promise. Besides, I don't think that was the last we'll be seeing of him. Come on, let's find a way out of this hell.' Jim said reassuring Megan. She nodded, and they continued on without Sephiroth.

Back inside the morgue Jim was still looking for another way out, so far his luck has been good. So far the corpse have stayed dead, and no other creatures seem to be inside with him but he's not letting his guard down for a moment. Approaching another door he bumped into a desk, a paper falls to the floor catching his eye. Quickly Jim recovers the paper, and begins to read: [Quote] Today five more bodies arrived, all seemed to have died of similar causes. A new virus has suddenly appeared in the city, and all who has been infected would die. However, the virus causes the dead to rise again. Most of the bodies brought in were either decapitated, or a bullet was put through their skulls. This seems to prevent them from rising again, it also seems to be their weaknesses. For some reason I don't have a good feeling about being here, and I really rather be home with my wife and our kids then here. That wacko Chief Irons ordered me to stay here for the night because he'd be sending over more corpses and he wanted me to perform autopsies immediately. I keep looking over my shoulders to check if the corpses are still laying on the tables, and they are but I just feel like something is watching me. Maybe it's my imagination.......*The writing stops here, and blood stains the paper*[/Quote] 'Hmm....I wonder what happened here? Maybe that licker did this.' Jim said to himself, suddenly he too felt as if something was watching him. Looking around he seen nothing, but the corpses that were spoke of in the letter. As he put the paper down it he heard something that sound like a gurgling noise, looking up to make sure it wasn't a licker he found nothing there. As he turned and approached the door he suddenly heard a metallic smash from behind, turning back he seen one of the body cabinet door's hanging off it's hinge then it fell to the ground causing a loud crash. 'What the hell was that?' Jim said as he turned and pointed his gun around the room. Looking around he sees nothing, but just then something jumps on his back. Struggling Jim tries to flip it off, but it won't budge. In desperation Jim backs up slamming it against the wall, a small hissing sound come from it then it begins screeching in Jim ear as it nips at his head. It misses as Jim wildly thrashes about the room trying to get the strange creature off, eventually he accidentally tumbles over a tray of operating tools. Falling back the creature is impaled on a large scalpel, and Jim rolls off quickly getting to his feet to look at the monster. He was shocked at it's appearance, all he could describe it as was a huge cricket. It was hideous looking, and it's screeching sent chills up Jim's spine. As it tries to turn over, and get up Jim puts a bullet through it's head causing a green substance to ooze from within. 'Ugh...I'm going to throw up. I got get the hell out of here!' Jim yelled to himself as he ran and slammed the door open, it lead back out onto the streets. Looking back towards the morgue Jim just throws his hands up in disgust, then just as he turns around he stops as a large blade is pointed at his face. Looking past the blade he seen that it was Sephiroth holding his sword to his face, Jim just stood still hoping that he wasn't going to kill him. Suddenly, Jim hears a woman's voice 'What is it?' Looking around Jim sees no one, but then from behind Sephiroth a woman's head sticks out. 'Oh! Sephy! Put that down, he's a human.' the woman says to Sephiroth as she steps out from behind him. Sephiroth just looks at her then sheaths the Masamune, the woman walks up to Jim and introduces herself to him 'I'm Megan, and you are?' 'Jim, Jim Torrel.' Jim replies as he shakes the young woman's hand, then looks at Sephiroth whom seems to be looking away. 'So...how'd you end up with him?' Jim questions Megan. 'He saved me from a bunch of monsters, they wanted to eat me. He can fall off of a roof and live ya' know!' she declaired. 'Right....so Sephy it's seems like you do have your weaknesses.' Jim chuckled as he looked at Sephiroth, but quickly shut up as he saw him reaching from the Masamune again. 'Ahem...well you know, I still owe you one for that backhand.' Jim says toward Sephiroth who just stares at him. 'Hey, why don't you come with us? Safety in numbers I always say.' Megan asks Jim, and he just nods as he replies 'Sure.' Sephiroth begins to walk ahead of them, and speaks 'Shut up, and get moving.' Quickly following, Jim accompanies Sephiroth and Megan to wherever it is they are going.

Coming across the now unbarricaded police station, Sephiroth walks through the gates and into the station. Looking around the place seems empty, it looks as if the place has been so for a while. It appears to be any old police station, must have recently used for survivor seeking refuge. To the right a boarded up door catches his eye, approaching it he swings the Masamune cutting through the boards. They hang down now unblocking the door, and now it's free to use however just as he reached for the door knob something twisted it from the other side. Stepping back Sephiroth watches the knob jiggle, and turn. Finally, the door slams open as zombies fall through. Immediately the zombies smell fresh meat, some crawl right for Sephiroth as the others return to their feet then stagger towards him moaning. Without even a look of concern Sephiroth just observes them, until one reaches his leg and begins to gnaw at his boot. Turning his blade downwards Sephiroth impales the zombie through the skull, it dies upon impact. With a quick swipe he quickly takes off five zombies heads, watching them collapse Sephiroth just steps over their rotten corpses through the door. The next room appeared to be some sort of waiting room, several pay phones line the walls, as well as a smashed soda machine at the end of the hall. Double doors were across from Sephiroth leading into a large office, a couple zombie lay on the floor seemingly dead. As he makes his way across the room, the zombies awaken and get to their feet beginning to go after Sephiroth while he's unaware of them with his back turned. They waste no time, and both clutch on Sephiroth, one on each arm biting him through his coat. A groan comes from Sephiroth's mouth as he shakes them off, and slams them together. Both zombies stumble forward as Sephiroth slashed across their midsections, after another step their torsos come off from their lower bodies. However, they don't die. This even surprised Sephiroth a bit, but he slashed one of their heads off then stomped on the other. Looking at his arms Sephiroth sees his flesh bitten into, his blood flowed slightly but he didn't seem to care. Raise his arm, a blue aura emits from his body. The wounds begin to shut themselves, and the flowing blood disappears. To the normal person this would seem like a miracle, but thanks to the land Sephiroth comes from Materia is available. So curing himself was simple, also a zombie's bite would normally infect a human. But the Jenova cells within Sephiroth fought it off, he was immune to the plague that turned these people into mindless flesh eating zombies. Eventually, Sephiroth finds himself on the roof of the police station. After taking down many more zombies he just got annoyed with them, and jumped onto the roof. Looking around the city below he could see many more packs of zombies roaming the streets, he spots a Clock Tower a long distance away. Something made him want to travel there, and check it out. Just as he was about to jump off the roof, he heard a familiar voice. 'S.T.A.R.S....!!!' from behind him. Turning around Sephiroth raises the Masamune ready to defend himself against the creature from before, however this time it demonstrates a new skill. A tentacle extends from it's hand slapping the Masamune from Sephiroth's hand sending it off of the police station's roof. Below a scared young woman with black hair, wearing jeans and red top was about to enter the police station, but the sword comes down planting itself in front of the doors. She's shocked for a moment, then looks up seeing two coated figures standing on the roof. She attempts to open the doors, but the sword is keeping them from opening. She then tugs at the sword trying to get in but to no avail, the sword weighs a ton. Looking back she can see a pack of zombies wandering towards the gates, quickly she runs to the gates shutting them and pushes a few things against it. It's a flimsy barricade, but it'll do for a small amount of time. She backs away and looks for a place she can hide, but sees none that wouldn't result in running into more zombies. Suddenly hearing a roar her attention is brought back to the two figures battling on the roof. Sephiroth now in battle with the large monster punches it in the face, but gets one of his own. They hit each other repeatedly until the monster whips Sephiroth across the roof with his tentacle. The beast approaches Sephiroth as he's still down, and quickly grabs him by the throat lifting him off the ground into the air. A purplish looking foam began to come off of the creatures hand as it choked Sephiroth, but with a swift kick to the head Sephiroth frees himself. The creature staggers back, as Sephiroth falls to one knee then looks at the monster with fury burning in his veins. In a flash Sephiroth let out a battle cry, almost a roar of his own, as he charged the monster, with all of his weight and strength Sephiroth tackles the monster. They both fly off of the roof falling towards the ground on which the woman stands. Letting out a scream the woman dives out of the way as Sephiroth and creature slam into the ground causing a small tremor. They both hit the ground with tremendous impact, certainly they had to be dead. The woman gets to her feet holding her mouth trying not to scream, but looks over both of the fallen people. Looking at the monster she easily realizes that it's not human, but looking at Sephiroth she approaches him to check on him. As she's looking over him, she reaches down and tries to check his pulse but suddenly Sephiroth's hand grabs her arm and his eyes open. She screams and struggles to get free as he sits up, and gets to his feet looking around he locates the Masamune releasing the woman he goes for it. Just as he grabs the blade the gate is heard smashing open, and he turns to see the pack of zombies rushing at the woman. Raising his hand towards the woman he uses his magic again, this time an aura flows around the woman cowering against the wall. Just as the zombies try to grab her they are thrown off by a mystical force, a blue shield, looking almost like glass, form in front of her. Sephiroth had cast Barrier on her, but she did not yet realize as she continued screaming as the zombies bounced off. Becoming annoyed Sephiroth yells at the woman 'QUIET!', she looks at him as he pulls his sword free and begins to walk away. 'Help me! Please!' the woman pleads with Sephiroth, but he only replies with 'Already did.' as he exits through the gates. He left her with the horde of zombies, all though protect by the barrier it would only last for a little while before it gives out. Then she would be food for the living dead, but suddenly from behind the zombies are cut down by a blade. Looking behind them, she could see that the tall white haired man had returned to help her. Of course this was very uncharacteristic of Sephiroth, and even he had no idea why he would do such a thing. After dispensing of the zombies, the barrier lowered and the woman raced at Sephiroth hugging him around the waist. 'THANK YOU! Thank you so much!' she screamed into his chest. But Sephiroth just moved her away, and spoke 'Want to live? Follow me. Want to die? Stay here.' She didn't have to be 'asked' again, she followed Sephiroth as he turned and walked away. Walking along side him she introduced herself, 'My name's Megan.' Sephiroth kept his eyes forward, and didn't say a thing. Trying to make conversation, she asks 'What's your name?' He says nothing again, so this time she just looks at the ground and keeps quiet. Suddenly, Sephiroth replies telling her just his name, she looks at him then smiles as they continue down the street. After they are out of view the creature gets back up, and mutters 'S.T.A.R.S....' then walks away.
