1. Yeap, well that movie sure does look boring. I mean how much entertainment can you get from watching some animated horses running around? I couldn't imagine any at all. It's a stupid movie. Well, this was a pretty open and shut topic.
2. Actually, I wouldn't mind dying before my elder years. Those are usually the worst parts in life. Constant aches, and pains from your old joints. Sometimes you can't even control you bowels, so you could very well end up wearing diapers. Ugh...I couldn't live like that. The longest I'd even want to live would probably be in my late 50's or early 60's.
3. The only head stomping you get to see is in a cut-scene, and no the zombies never seem to try grabbing your legs when they are knocked down. I don't believe I have ever seen a zombie crawling in the RE remake either....maybe they removed it. All you can really do is shoot the zombie when it's down/trying to get up.
4. Well, look at it this way. Vegita is a prince of pure, and royal blood. He is supposed to be the most powerful warrior of all Sayjins, and since his entire home planet is destroyied. Only he, and Goku are the last pure Sayjins left. Now Vegita's suppose to be the prince, while Goku was suppose to be just a common Sayjin. Now if you were Vegita wouldn't you have a lot to be pissed off about when you see the mere common Sayjin, Goku surpassing you? Of course! Especially since everytime Vegita evens his power out with Goku, Goku always somehow pulls back ahead of him. PLUS, Gohan even became a Super Sayjin before Vegita! If I were Vegita I would probably be flipping out more than his does in the series.
5. WTF?! Sounds as if they really butchered the game. They actually had the nerve to tease UKers' with small background stories on the characters in the manual as well? I wouldn't even want those litte backgrounds if couldn't see what their whole stories were. Sounds rediculous. Well, I'm sure Crazy White Boy will help out some more once he's back on.
6. How many time was the world suppose to end now? Like 20 million? Probably more. I don't worry about it, and if the world was ever going to end well....there is nothing we could do to stop it. So why worry about it? Worrying doesn't help anything.
7. The Matrix was an awesome movie, but I'm not sure what else they could do in the sequal. I mean they found "The One" in the first one, and he looked pretty damned unstoppable. So who would be able to stop him? Ah well. Anyway, I heard rumors a while back that a wrestlers will be staring in The Matrix sequal. Most people think it's Rob Van Dam. I'd like to see that.
8. I thought it was a great movie myself, sadly I can guess what's going to happen in just about any movie. So even at the parts that were suppose to fool you, I had them figured out before the next scene. But I went and seen it not expecting much, but it turned out to be cool. It had it's share comedic scenes as well, which is another plus to me since I like comedy as well.
9.
Originally posted by Sephiroth we ask for this because in the UK, the endings have been taken out of the game, when you complete the game you just see a screen saying congradulations, bah....
WHAT IN THE WILD WORLD OF WACKY SPORTS BLOOPERS?!?! How could they take the endings out? That sucks, because believe me. Those ending were awesome, even if it was because of the violence they still shouldn't have taken those endings out. Do they have Intros, or Middle movie? Or were those removed as well?
10.
Originally posted by SS Trunks Bio: The nephew of Pater Parker, Craig found that from a very early age he was able to scale walls and hang from ceilings on his own, and had little slits in his wrists which he could shoot webbing out of. Peter promised him never to tell anyone about his power, and then Peter revealed to Craig that he was infact Spiderman. Peter decided to train Craig, so Craig could be his heir so to speak. So, for 10 years Peter helped Craig develop his skills...... but then, when Craig was 14, Peter was killed, supposedly drown. Craig knew that he had to take over as New York's main super hero, but he decided just to call himself Spider, to save time...... though, New York had been at peace for some time, so Craig decided to remain dormant until a threat arose which would require his power to thwart. That threat has finally arrived, though in much bigger a problem that Craig expected.... and so he is training hard to meet the threat. Unlike Spiderman, Craig has web shooters in his own wrists, so he has unlimited webbing.
I hope you don't mind me making a suggestion, but here goes. I think you should make you character Peter Parker, and Mary Jane's son rather than nephew. There are several reason why being Parker's nephew wouldn't work. 1.) If he was Parker's nephew, then Craig/Spider couldn't have got any of the enhanced spider DNA from Peter to have those powers and abilities. So it couldn't work in that sense, unless he had the strange luck to be bitten by a radioactive spider as Peter was. That'd be corny though. 2.) Unless I completel lost all of my memory about Spider-Man, he's never had a brother or a sister for them to have the child that is Peter's nephew. So that's not possible at all. Plus I also just think it'd be a better back story him to be living with his now widowed mother who would be Mary Jane Watson( or Parker if they were married). These are just suggestions though.
11. I suggest just hooking it up to the TV, it'll save you all of the time of not hassling with the thing. If your TV does have Input/Output slots, then just go buy the correct cord to connect it to the TV. Your friend is also right, if you do plug the PS2 in through your VCR you will have trouble playing DVDs because of a kind of protection called Macrovision. To play DVDs you'll need to plug it in directly to the TV. It was designed that way so you couldn't record DVDs onto VHS.
12. First of all, I was the one who said he should be shot. But still it would be better for humanity if he was taken out and shot. He is stupid, and he is a loser. The fact is this. He only sold millions of records, and got to show himself on TV because there are just a lot of ignorant people out there who likes to listen to a semi-grown man foul mouth people just to get a rise. I don't give a damn if the man means it or not, but the fact of the matter is this. Do you think if I sat back, and wrote a vulgar song about someone saying I wanna kill, rape, etc. them. Do you honestly think that "I didn't mean it!" would suffice? If you do, I am affraid you have no sense. Eminem is just thiking about one person, and one person alone when he 'sings' stuff like that. Himself. He doesn't think of how it will make people feel, nor does he care.
13. Yeah, Crazy White Boy is correct there. It would be a whole different story if it was actually on the GBA. Also, I remember hearing there is another unlockabe mode in the game where all enemies are INVISIBLE! Imagine trying to play the game like that, it'd be damn near impossible. Also I heard there is another unlockable mode called 'One Dangerous Zombie.' It supposedly plays like it normally would, except you will be chased through out the game by a new zombie. But if you kill it the game will end before it is suppose to, so you will have to avoid it rather then fight it off. Strange huh?
14. Mario Paint for the SNES was great, me and my buddies had a lot of fun with it. We were into Mortal Kombat a lot at the time, so using the animation program on Mario Paint we use to make fatalities using the Mario characters. I remember making Yoshi rip off someone's head with his tongue then swallow it. That was great stuff. We've eve done the pit fatality from MK2 where you'd knock someone off the bridge then it'd go into an overhead view showing the opponent falling then they'd hit the concrete. Fun times.
15. I think SoE was good for a whole half hour, then it goes down hill into boredom. I started liking it again after I got out of the Chaos mode, and played Revolution mode. It's a mission based mode, and it makes it a little fun to play again. But once again it get's old fast. Fun for a little while, but in the long runs its boring, dull, and tedious.
16.
Originally posted by *-- RagnaroK--* Come on, please, the games are not crappy! Some are, but still when you look at games like FFX and MGS2, wont it cancel out all of those rubbish games? Think about it OK. :mrt:
I know where you're coming from, but that's a poor comment. I mean think about it. Good games can't cancel out bad games. It's not like thanks to FFX all of the bad games magically vanish. Sure, FFX and MGS2 are great! Awesome in fact. But they cannot make people forget about the other games that are crap.
17. Would I be wrong if I called them idiots? How about pieces of [BEEP]? Or maybe assclowns? Am I wrong? And if not, then which would suffice?
18. Correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't Eminem the person who got sued by his own mother for talking about killing her as well as some other pretty foul stuff? I remember it was in a song or something. Now to me, that's not being rebellious. That's being an assclown(I would say worse, but I'd probably get modded), and it's very disrespectful. Anyone who would listen to trash like that and not either be somewhat offended, or at least sickened by his comments. Well, you'd be just a mindless drone praising one of the worlds biggest idiots.
19. Well, Jade Cacoon 2 is already out on the PS2. At least in America it is, so if you're in another country that may be why you don't have it yet. I haven't played it yet, but it didn't look too bad.
20. I definitely don't think PS2 is crap, I was merely using it as an example in the games department. I mean we've got to admit it, but the PS2 does have a lot of crappy games. They've got a lot of good ones as well, but with the amount of games they're pumping out ofcourse you will find a couple crappy ones in the bunch. But these days I have an open mind about games, and systems. Because so far, no system really sucks. The XBox is great thus far, as well is the Game Cube. But both Microsoft, and Nintendo need to start cranking out more games if they want to be anywhere near as successful as Sony. Like I said just stick around a little while, and pure greatness will come of the XBox and Game Cube. PS2 is close to greatness, but with all of the games they release they need to start setting standards.
21.
Originally posted by Sephiroth btw, does barry still say "jibble sandwitch"? that was the greatest line ever!
Minor correction Sephiroth. The line is "Jill sandwich", and like Crazy White Boy said. It was removed. Bah! They also had the nerves to removes the "I've got THIS!" line that Barry use to say while holding up his Magnum. That was a great little line, and they replaced it with "I like the buddy system I've got right here." So stupid... Well, anyway it's still a great game. It definitely improved upon the erie feel the first one had. A lot infact. Play it alone in the dark, and with head phones connected to the TV (providing you have that sort of TV). I'm willing to bet that'll really add to the scare factor of the game. 4/ /itchy tasty :drunk:

Ps1

Well, the PSone/PSX isn't exactly forgotten. I mean it still is apart of the PS2 since it allows you to play your PSone/PSX games on it. However Sony made sure to have some games blocked from being able to play on the system, the Wu-Tang Clan fighting game is a prime example of this. But for the games we are allowed to play on the PS2, we are allowed to update them in a sense using the 'Smooth textures', and 'Disc Speed' features. But if it's about news, or new games that people are having a problem with. Well, what can I tell you? Crazy White Boy's posts clear that up nicely.
23. Very well put Harlequin. You took the words right out of my mouth, oh except for the simple fact that I flat out call him an idiotic assclown. A person the likes of him should just be taken out and shot for humanities' sake. His father should have just wore a 'jimmy hat', then all of this horridness could have been averted.
24. Halo is truely a great game, and I think it's one of the best first person shooters to date. Well, probably the best. It has great sound, lighting effects, gameplay, etc.. It has it all. I find it quite entertaining to watch an enemy running around screaming with a bomb attached to it's body. Heh, now that's pure bliss....well for the player that is. I'm sure the enemies wouldn't feel the same way.
25.
Originally posted by iggy the lowered the price cause noone will buy it cause it sucks!! and cause PS2 kills its soul
Well done explaining things. You make my dog look like a genius with those types of posts. I'm not trying to be mean, but really try to better your post quality. That's mindless dribble as far as I'm concerned. As far as hating Mircosoft, well that's a rather poor excuse to hate the XBox. Now, I was very weary of the XBox for a while. It's current game line up features tons of crap, but I can guarantee that for every one crappy XBox game there is about ten crappy PS2 games. The system has pretty much surprised me from day one. I loved the graphics it achieved in DOA2, and with more recent games like Spider Man out for it. Well, it just keeps on impressing me. It's a great system, but it's not at it's full potential yet. Not by far, so just wait around for a little while and we'll see pure greatness.
