1. First off, I haven't been part of, let stand made, a RP in years. Bear with me. My idea was to make a story where when you join the focus is not on a character sheet. Instead it's on a Dimension description. You see, everyone who joins the RP starts off in the same universe. However, you also start off in your entirely own dimension of that universe, and all dimensions should be in some way different from each other, though still be parallel. Then there are loopholes between dimensions that you will fall through, ending up in someone else's dimension. Stuff like that. :^D So let's say George, Charlie and Emmy are all living in Exampletown.

George is a knight to the court of the king of Exampletown, slaying dragons when possible, and his life is told by an epic storyteller who seems to be looking over his shoulder, because he's cool like that.
Charlie is a cleaning man for a restaurant in sector X-AMPLTWNX88, cleaning after Wookie-like creatures.
Emma is a mysterious detective whose actions are always told in first person in Exampletown, crime capital of the world, where everything is black and white and it always seems to be raining.
Then Charlie drops into a dimension hole, and suddenly he finds himself in a trench coat, talking to himself while washing blood off the streets of Dobbeltown, crime capital of the world. Stuff like that. Is the idea so far completely lame or slightly cool?
  2. I have a black iPod Classic. :D
  3. Whee! Is it lame if I'm all excited myself? Also, if there's topics you really want to be on the podcast feel free to throw them in here or PM them to either of us. This includes you wanting us to plug your RP or whatever cool new topic you made up lately. Sell it well though, because we're selective, elitist meanies. Well, I am. Korey is a sweatheart. FUN FUN Also, I think it would be cool if tons of people would be like "Hey this is [...] and you're listening to the OtakuBoards Podcast!" "Meh, meh, meh, OtakuBoards Podcast!" "PIKA PIKA CHIBICHU!" Y'know. There's enough space to give plenty of people 10 seconds of audio fame. AND IF YOU HAVE A TALENT THAT INCLUDES SOUND, this is an ideal opportunity to get yourself heard globally!.. sort of.
  4.
Mothership Zeta: Well... I like the idea, the characters introduced, and the story, but again I don't like the design. It does introduce an extremely awesome item called alien apoxy, that you can used to just flat out repair all of you equipped items at once, and some really powerful weapons. I enjoyed it a lot, but I felt it dragged on a bit near the end. Again, you can't explore the ship after you finish the missions. You can go to this cockpit thing, and get a good supply of items, but I had a serious glitch where it wouldn't let me leave.
Huh. I can explore quite a bunch still of the ship. Couldn't bother to see if it was everything, but it's more than just cockpit.
  5.
Yeah I would like the ability to keep playing after I've finished - I'm assuming you can go back and complete quests that you had left behind?
Well, that's kind of the point. You can, but only by loading a save file from before finishing the game. Unless you get the expansion, because then you can just continue without even noticing the game would've stopped without it. Plus, you get a bunch of neat extra quests. I have to add that when you get the ehm... Anchorage content it'll also be worth your while game wise and it's a nice change. But the Alien Space Ship, the Pitt and the island thing felt completely lame to me. And yeah well, New Vegas just also feels a lot less epic than Fallout 3 right from the start. The opening video isn't as cool, explaining too much about the situation, and generally it's just a lot of "blah" and less "Whoo!" It's a little prettier, but mostly it just looks the same, except with sand instead of dirt. Which is stupid enough since Fallout 3 was already had enough things looking the same.
  6.
At the moment: 1984 by George Orwell And before that: A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgress And previous to the latter: Animal Farm by George Orwell And further before that: On Poets and Poetry by T.S. Elliot I only read these because I detest most modern novels and fiction writers, save a few. Dan Brown is a particular dislike in my world.
In short you're just all pretentiousness, probably because you're getting married and decided not to invite me. Pff. At least say you detest novels in general if you're picking out some select pretentious novels to like. Vicky, Vicky, Vicky.
  7. I would recommend the brotherhood of steel expansion for this overrated game. I'm pretty sure it's the only one that actually expands the game apart from just giving you some short side mission like the others. Normally the game would end after the Main quests are finished, but now you can continue. Yay! New Vegas is poopie so far.
  8. Just beef up the defences 'n' stop being whiny gits. You already have armour. Seriously.
  9. I'm glad the theft of Ace's laptop is making everyone happy.
  10.
this one isn't too difficult, but with all the strategy and learning curb for all the moves (by far the most i have ever seen in a final fantasy game) i sure wouldn't call final fantasy tactics simple. in order to get through job classes i put in a ton of work! training as a samurai to hold a spear with two hands as a lancer, having everyone learn Jp up and accumulate as a squire so that i can level up jobs faster, and even practicing as a time mage so my archer can float (since the higher up you are the farther your arrows can travel) are just some of the more thoughtful techniques i have used... and i am sure more will come or ill get creamed by the ultra lucky computer!
Tactics is awesome. The story felt so epic, and almost every battle was awfully hard. I just didn't think the quest system was that well done.

I'm sure Desbreko will award you with some stars and titles for this. You are a hero.

  17. Just beat Starcraft II. Want Heart of the Swarm now. Important meeting in 6,5h. Need sleep.
  18. Alright, things are looking and sounding great. Naturally, because we rock. That site should help a lot to boot things.
  19. Do you always have to listen to the voices in these games or is there an option to turn them off completely and just play Final Fantasy with effects and epic music like the old days?
  20. Boo

I just realised that you're a much more reliable person to host Podcasts with than anybody else due to your current position.

    Eurotaku podcast anyone?

  21. The Nikon D series are real popular. That is probably because their quality is ace. I'm staggering along with an old Fuji myself, but it suffices I suppose. Do share photos. :^D

Instead you get baker's shops every two metres, imperialist pig! Also, coffee. The only good coffee is when it's strong enough to blast you to pieces, without anything added.
