I actually went to sleep on time last night. Big mistake. I had a creepy dream about Hitler taking my 8th grade class on a field trip. I helped out a Jewish family, so he sent a high ranking officer to cut my head open. Not good. But I somehow managed to evade capture, so I guess it wasn't ALL that bad. *twitch*
That's screwed up.
Drizzt, you'd better hug that kid lots! I can personally testify that hugs are essential to a youngster's life. If they don't get enough hugs, kids could end up as bitter as me.
You want that child DEAD?! Oh yeah, get one of those baby carriers to carry the baby around against your fatherly chest or back. It's so much more awesome and fatherly and cute to look at when you watch the pictures later.
What I won't argue with you about is that his films are cult films. They absolutely are.
Not absolutely. Maybe a bit, but so incredibly many people swallow everything he shoots at them, that you'd have to stretch the original idea of the phrase "cult film" pretty much. The films aren't so much cult films as Quentin Tarantino himself just being subject of the biggest cult on Earth. Apart from that, I'm still a bit confused on how I can't make a joke about dead Michael Jacksons, while some dude with an disproportional face can make a twisted film about the second world war. o wait nvm

We went to have dinner over at the pancakehouse today, and I had an amazing pancake. A dutch one, mind you, with raisins and apple and almond and cinnamon and sugar and whatnot. And then along with it a bowl of chunkey monkey Ben & Jerry's icecream with whipped cream.

Because of Raiha's soy sauce thread I felt hungry and I felt like cooking, and then I felt like creating a thread to discuss the cooking and baking and stuff that I felt like! So, since it's been too long since we had something like this, I present to you: Quick colourful thingy until I get around to making something deliciously looking YUMMY! So basically the point is to encourage anyone to just talk and share about food. Be it what you like best, or a delicious sammich you just prepared this afternoon, tips and tricks that run in the family, experiences with which ingredients not to mix, or maybe just some food-ish thing you saw on a sign the other day and made you think: "zomfg, need to share." Inspire and be inspired! Besides, if this works out well enough given time, I could put every suggestion, story or recipe in an awesomely awesome cookbook, able to be sent all over the world! Whoo! So to set off, I'll tell you all about what I made the other day to drown my sorrow in cooking:
For yesterday's meal I prepared noodles with a bit of soy in the pan. To go along with that I cut a few steaks to strips of about 1,5×5 centimeres, marinated them with a mixture of sweet soy sauce, oil, a rather big sesamy seeds, touch of garlic, some rather fresh ginger and ginger powder, and then as a finishing touch some honey and quite a lot of sweet syrup. Then to add some vitamin C and extra stuff to bite on, I threw a sliced up zucchini in the mixture. Served them separately for three people and everything was gone at the end. Though we're big eaters in this house, so I always make food for at least 4 to make sure everyone's satisfied. :^D
Not very original or complex, but the end result was really finger-licking good, and that's really all that matters, right? Oh yeah, and if you manage to add a picture of foods that you're discussing or typing out a recipe for, be my guest! I'll see to doing it next round. :v

I use sweet Indonesian soy sauce for anything that suggests a little bit of Asianness. I can't have a conversation with my friend's Asian girlfriend unless I pour some soy sauce over her head. In fact, I'll use it tonight for a dish of noodles with sweet honey steak strips. Yum yum yum. Lezat!
For a while I was thinking Megan Fox fade into the background soon enough like Jessica Alba and Scarlet Johansen, but who knows.
Both Jessica Alba and Scarlet Johansen have that cutie factor that Megan Fox lacks. Megan Fox is "I'd hit it" while the other two are that plus "I'd cuddle and treat it right before and after and during." In a masculine I-like-beer-and-boobs kind of way, of course.

I absolutely love Cecil and your picture makes him look a lot more awesome than the original Square artwork does, so good job on that! Plus, I seriously adore the sketchy, grim look you gave to the picture, using blacks and whites and thick lines. *adds hug*

Apart from the overly popular Street Fighter and Chrono music, I thought the Golden Sun soundtrack was really epic. I would often enough start the game up and listen to the start menu song for 5 times straight before actually playing the game. :V And well, the best soundtrack ever is clearly the soundtrack of DOOM I & II. It's completely kick-behind from beginning to end and constantly has you captured in the game while having infinite awesome guitar riffs. Whoo!
I don't even like her name - who does? -
I think she should at least get some muffin points for the Queen reference. Anyway! There's (fake) quotes stating she is a hermaphrodite, with a tiny willy, but even if they're true, you wouldn't see such a big blob of flesh under her dress. Then if she were a transvestite, I'd imagine that something should either hang down or poke through the dress obviously. Though it's funny how she first says "I don't think I have panties on," because other wise there'd be a lot less of a fuss about the whole thing. : D fun topic!

What you are about to read Is the most Fastastic The most Wonderful Love Story you'll ever read Are you ready? Here goes... Once upon a not so long ago There were a boy and a girl A boy and a girl who were in Love A Love that one could find only in Fairy Tales. The ordinary boy who'd fall in Love with the beautiful and marvellous girl in the whole wide world. The two had met on a fateful day and since had been writing back and forth letter after letter, word after word kiss after kiss, promise after promise Because what you should know is that the two lived apart from each other A long distance, divided by a huge forest But one day the girl was tired of waiting. She sneaked out, travelled for miles and arriving at the end, she fell right into the arms of the boy They vowed never to part Though they knew it would not be easy And they both had commitments at home So from then on, they'd visit each other when they could. It was not very often Once a month, sometimes a two months But they saw and could hold each other He'd play music for her, and she'd dance And when she did, the world would sing along She’d teach him how to dance, how to kiss She’d even teach him how to tie a bow And the boy would smile clumsily and do his best to impress her when he could. They were happy like this, But they wanted to be together more As time passed by, so did life and they wanted to spend that time together So they started planning something big the construction of a castle the most marvellous castle in the world It would have a huge garden, with a lake, elephants, a trampoline and everything they’d wish for… But life took control of their time And they saw each other less, And the plans of the castle - Those became shimmers of what they were Due time, the boy didn’t send as many letters the girl noticed he was distracted and busy He’d stopped sending cards and gifts And the girl was afraid he’d stopped loving her So one day she decided to go to the boy again As she crossed the distance, something happened She bumped into something, big and grey In front of her stood an elephant, big and strong She was so amazed that she fell on her bottom As she looked up, she could see something, something even more amazing, behind the elephant the most marvellous castle in the world and as she looked around in the gigantic garden, passing the gorgeous lake, she saw someone working and as she came closer, she recognised the boy the boy who was just finishing setting up a trampoline. --- Und wann sie nicht gestorben sind, leben sie nocht heute. I guess it's a big break the SOTW is having right now. Unlucky number 13 kind of didn't lift off, and before that we had a pretty big lack of entries anyway. I'd get it back on the road starting with week 14, but I'm not sure how popular it'll be then. I also suppose that when we start it, we might as well do it good and make it actually weekly with voting of one week and entries of the other running at the same time. Though anyway, seeing as our art community is kind of little anyway, I personally have never been a big fan of digital artsy competitions while having nothing for the traditional artists on the side. Besides, I was thinking of doing an arts competitions à la SaiyanPrincessX's Imagination Contest, but then the 2009 version. :P Plus, we still have to make the sequal to Dagger's OBGT if she won't do it herself sometime in the future!

'Ello and welcome, cyrow! This thread was made and last posted in in the year 2003, so I doubt it will spew any further discussion or participation, and so I will close it to avoid any confusion! I would like to ask you to only reply to threads on the first two pages of the Art Studio. Don't hesitate to PM me for any questions, even though this first meeting is a bit unlucky. :whoops:
