1.
I guess no one wants to take on this request :(
However, you're still not allowed to double post, so I'm just going to merge the first two posts together. Please don't do it again. :) On an other note. I can't say that I've any advice to give you on how you have a bigger chance of getting your request fulfilled, because you did make a pretty good opening post.
2. They all stink like vomit. I (can) eat more than anyone I've met anyway and also rather get tasty sugars from eating fruit. :3
3.
Rincewind the wizard and His Grace Sir Samuel Vimes from Terry Pratchett's Discworld series
I wanted to name Rincewind. :( But hereby: Twoflower and Luggage, to add to the cool Discworld people list. And ehm... Ehm... Ford Prefect from Hitch hiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
4.
Wow...your advice is sorta scary/suck-ish.:animedepr
What, it's not not the right thing to do? I think I just made a big mistake then. :(
5.
This seems fun. Why not? Not enough man juice around these picture threads anyways it seems.
... I don't dare to click the pictures after that man juice remark.
6. Update: The claim system has been upgraded to the claim +1 system. This means that you can claim a spot in the worm as soon as it's the turn of the poster before you. I've edited the first post of the thread with a some more elaborate explanation and I've added a next person to the list to give the idea a go. So, Hybrid Ninja has been put on the list after boothten.
7. I edited the first post of the Worm to add the claim +1 rules. And jigglyness, don't feel bad. I for one am just glad that you and some others keep the thing alive with great pieces.
8. You are involved, silly. Anyway, I was thinking of turning it into claim +1, like what would be the case now. That you can claim as soon as someone starts working on the piece instead of as soon as it's done. Comments welcome. :p
9. With all the excitement and all I suddenly remembered the OtakuBoards Graphic Tournament that was held in 2005. It was meant as an event that would be held more occasionally than once, but so far it hasn't been done since that one time. So, I had better start planning that again. Maybe after a little bit of crowd pulling, this could prove useful to get some more interested minds to the Art Studio. Hm, I've been trying to find the team battles we had done before, which might've been fun to repeat as well. It would combine the aspects of an actual contest and having graphic teams, except that the teams would keep changing of size and the members would be mixed up. No luck so far, though. The little banner thing might be best to be found an alternative for, though. Maybe something with the member title would be nifty. Maybe a little medal of some sort. :)
10. Some of the ideas sound great. The Signature of the Week especially. I think to have 3 contests a week going on is a bit much, but we could at least start with setting up one weekly or bi-weekly Signature of the Week contest. The member award sounds like a monthly thing, though I wouldn't mind have a huge annual Art Awards (Wow, Awarts. Ahem, sorry) with favourite contests, artists, works and stuff either. The Current Art Contest thing sounds pretty neat, I must say. 8Bit's right when a separate forum would not be necessary, but this would fill that spot very nicely. Though if we have a standard weekly contest going on it might be more effective to name the current week's theme to work with or something. And a good notification for the whole Boards that voting rounds are on. Great thing is that everyone should be able to vote. Not sure about the poll though, because I'd still like to see a bit quality constructive criticism in the posts. Explaining why you chose this one signature over the others should be plenty, I suppose. The team things might need some more activity to be able to work first. To have limits of 30 people per team might be a bit too enthusiastic. Oh, and nobody's stopping anyone from starting a Rate My Signature thread. Please go right ahead with such ideas! As long as it has some pointers for the participants to work with so that it's still living up to the expectations of the Art Studio at least a bit. :whoops: It warms me to smell Artsy activity. Like Lan, I have neat memories of very active periods and I would like to try to at least regain the activity, and rather even surpass the fun we had at those times. :3
11. Apart from getting people to come here, I guess it's just by starting it and hoping it'll be a bit active. Activity draws activity most of the time. I still feel a bit bad over having put the "Graphics Resources" thing in the fridge, but that also lacked attention so far. This could help the Art Studio get some more people interested/participating perhaps. 12. A reminder for everyone: Please post your pieces for the OB Graphic Worm as .jpeg files. This because of the differences in colour between file formats. We've had trouble with this before. Plus, it saves Debbie some work. He won't have to change the format before he uploads it an all.
Please remember to always preview your piece next to the previous one, to make sure it matches up correctly, before posting it.

13.
I have a plan of making an rp, and just so when I make it I'll be prepared. If I make a Yu-Gi-Oh! Rp would anyone join it. If not can people give me some sugestions. Just say it and it would probably be made if not the first one made.
My guess is if you would make a Yu-Gi-Oh! RP with an actual storyline, some people might consider joining it. I don't know what your plan is, but the plan for most is to have a storyline that people can work with. There have been plenty of Yu-Gi-Oh! RPs, but if you do your job well, you might actually book success. Or not. But well, that's life on the webz: You never know. And ehm yeah, Raiha here is right. This isn't the place for these questions. Next time try the Backstage area of the Theater. :whoops:
14. Because, apart from me, there are no perfect human beings. And I'm a taken man, so... tough luck. Anyway. Why would you want to make up with her anyway? She made out with someone else right in your face. Forgive and forget of course, but maybe not the next moment while they've had no time to actually learn from the situation themselves. Blub.
15. I think what Sandy also meant was that we just have any clue about who does what then. It's not so much for the new members as it is for ourselves. :P I wanted to ask about a list too. Maybe we can make one in the secret forum. *secretive* >:3
16. I've just bought A Long Way Down by Nick Hornby and have finished the first page or so. I bought the book because before I read High Fidelity, About A Boy and How To Be Good, all of which rocked my socks. Therefore I figured that this might result in the same. Later I found out that on the back there's a super positive review by Johnny Depp. No idea what it really is about yet. On the back it said something about a man wanting to commit suicide, but his plan was interrupted bij some others who all came up with the same plan. It's a Hornby, so it should be great.
17. If your idea could include the Art Studio and give people experience posts to create posts there (more quality results in better rewards), I'm all for. You could also have people post art and ask for a certain degree of criticism. You get very little experience from really soft criticism and you get a lot more when you request very nitpicky criticism. ... Yeah. Sounds great. Anyhow, I know that there's forum features for vB that allow RPG things. If they could be implemented on a smaller scale, that'd be great. Or maybe this event could use a part of the OB Network or something.
18. I'm going to quote a PM I replied to someone a while ago who asked as similiar question, because I'm lazy like that.
I myself use mostly either Jasc's (well, it used to be Jasc, now it's part of Corel Studios) Paintshop Pro (7 or 9) or Adobe's Photoshop CS2 for my graphics. Most of the artists here on OtakuBoards use the latter, as far as I know, but there are a few that prefer Paintshop Pro. Or using them both. :P Legally, they're both rather expensive. There should be a trial for Photoshop CS3 on the Adobe website. Download page is found here: Adobe - Downloads. I don't think there's a trial version for the regular Paintshop Pro anymore, though there is a new Photo X2 version and Corel Painter X that might be the same idea, but better. :P You could try it out, it's on Corel's trial page: Corel's Free Trials. Heck, I'm going to try the Corel programs out myself as well.
I can't be too sure about that specific wallpaper of course, but with for example Photoshop you would be able to make something at least as good as that wallpaper. Of course it all takes practice anyway. Personally I found Jasc's Paint Shop Pro the most beginner friendly of the programs I've tried out myself. You could try PSP7, it's pretty dated now, but can still deliver quality work. Oh and by the way: Don't worry, this is the right place for such questions. ;P
19. Well, that's the point. It has been in her moderator title for ages and now it's in her member title. I wannit too!
20. Lady Sphyx roxx, that's why there's a star in her name. Plus, she's got friends in high places. Teh Silly Circus was about everything and nothing altogether. People tried to remake it but they didn't get much further than half a day or something. I should know. :p
21. Well, after typing "ot" in the URL bar and pressing down and enter, I come online hoping for the pop-up indicating a new PM. Of course, there is none, because the only reason people send me PMs is because I'm a moderator, but basically people only PM moderators when something is going on in their area. Which leads me to number two: Art Studio. I check if there's new posts. If so, I'll open up the forum in a new tab. The same goes for the Staff forum and the Information Kiosk. One of my most basic things in the routine is trying to keep the Graphic Worm up to date. I noticed that I sometimes fail in that, though. :( The Backroom also often has it's tab, to look for upcoming RPs or something, but most of the time there's nothing to interest me.
22. It already helps a lot to do screams and hard yelling with your nose and not your throat. If you practice it a bit, this is the way to keep up for at least 2 songs, whereas with your throat you will be dead after a few seconds.
23.
There's also a funny story behind it where her peach cobbler won first and second place, lol.
No sharing, no boasting. I actually make everything according to a secret recipe. With pure luck I just happen to be able to make everything I touch in the kitchen über delicious. Varying from a toasted pear to a moisty piece of bread. My mother makes this thing with foam and rice and apple and things and it's amazing. I need to learn how to make it once. :(
24.
And please, let's not be like High School Musical and break into song as we eat lunch or play baseball, mmkay?
... I suppose that that generally just happens in musicals, except that High School Musical just has a bad story and setting so they can't come up with other things for their music to start.
25. I think music would be something to add once the musical has a steady storyline. I wouldn't mind at all to write an entire musical with anyone who's willing. Ironically enough I've just applied for a Writing For Performance school which requires me to write these things anyhow. :P So, is this going to be an RP with everything happening spontaneously post per post? I think we should make up the basic storyline and then the acts, and then actually do the whole thing with a kind of chapter-system. Then almost each act would have a song as it's climax and some of us would have made music for it that some will then write to during the actual play itself... This would require very good writers and at least as good musicians though. XD If the music doesn't work out we could try [strike]stealing[/strike] using other musical's music, of course. :P
