1. Hmmm, I would try to help, but it's hard to exactly make much sense of your post. Maybe it's just me, but I couldn't understand half of what you meant. Besides, you've done much more in the game than I have. :) I'll leave this open in case anyone understands it. Just try to make your future posts a little cleaner. ;)

    Vegeto?
Originally posted by gokents i would agree. gogeta in movie 12 is awesome. ? is gogeta stronger than a ss3? i did a post with this kind of stuff and no one ever commentted.
Of course he is. If you've truly seen Movie 13, then you'd know that SSJ3 Gokou couldn't beat Janemba's second form. Once fused with Vegeta, they easily defeated Janemba with that Rainbow blast that explodes shortly after impact.
  3.
Originally posted by *-- RagnaroK--* Youre kidding it had to be mortal combat by miles, well at the time, but no one is into thatstuff anymore! :(
Hehe, I forgot all about Mortal Kombat. Yeah, that was a cool movie. What a coincidence that it was directed by the same person who directed Resident Evil. I still liked Resident Evil better for some reason though. *shrugs* Maybe it's because the second Mortal Kombat Movie, Annihilation, was worse than getting my tooth pulled.
  4.
Originally posted by Sephiroth it is FAR more powerful than yamucha's move....
Heck yeah. If Yamucha's move was more damaging, he would have been the one to defeat Buu or any of the other super villains for that matter. ;)

    Vegeto?
Originally posted by Ifrit I would like to know when goku and vegeta fuse to make vegeto or as some people would like to say gogeta???
Gokou and Vegeta do the fusion dance to form Gogeta in DBZ Movie 12: The Rebirth of Fusion! Goku and Vegeta! Gogeta also makes an appearance in GT. As far as looks are concerned, he bares a strong resemblence to Gokou. Vegetto is probably the most powerful warrior in the Z series. He makes an appearance during the Buu saga after most of the warriors have been absorbed and Gokou is given his life back by Rou Dai Kaioshin. This elderly Kaioshin gives the Potara earrings to Gokou exchanges his life for Gokou's. Vegeta on the other hand is given the opportunity to return to earth by Lord Enma. When Gokou and Vegeta find that they can't defeat Buu seperately, they fuse to make Vegetto. Anyway, this was basically covered more or less, right HERE
  6. Yep and it only gets worse. Most people won't care, but I, being a Mr. Perfect fan, am disappointed to learn that he too has been fired. Goldust is even in hot water and may be the next to go, though it is unlikely. Furthermore, Bradshaw will most likely be suspended or be disciplined for his behavior on the plane as well. On another note:
The latest edition of WWE Magazine, which features The Rock and Steve Austin on the cover, includes a note which may mean that this year's WWE King Of The Ring pay-per-view may have been cancelled in favor of a different pay-per-view. The pay-per-view calendar within the magazine states the pay-per-view on June 23 in Columbus, Ohio as "TBD". This is most likely a sign of things to come, as the June WWE pay-per-view has been King Of The Ring for quite some time.
I really hope that they stick with King of the Ring. I was really looking forward to RVD winning it and getting the monster push that he deserves. Ah well...
  7.
World Wrestling Entertainment senior vice president for talent relations Jim Ross announced today that WWE and Scott Hall have mutually agreed to end their contractual relationship. WWE wishes Hall the best of luck in his future endeavors.
Yep, you heard it right folks, we'll no longer be seeing Scott Hall in the WWF. I personally think that this is horrible news. The stale nWo angle was just starting to pick up momentum. This whole situation stems from a plane trip coming back from InsurreXtion PPV.
Scott Hall was reportably 'wasted' the entire trip in Europe over the past few days. He was apparently the one who was behind the 'goofing off' that went on during the plane ride home. Hall also showed up to RAW yesterday under the influence. As of earlier today, Scott Hall is no longer with the World Wrestling Federation.
There is a bit of controversy though, in that some people say that Hall was asleep and had little or nothing to do with the incident. Wow, WWE really disappoints me every day now, lol. First a see a sloppy Raw and now this. Hopefull SmackDown will make it all better.
  8.
Originally posted by ZeroG214 I also hear GunValkiyre is pretty cool to. I've seen it in action and it pains me that I don't have a machine myself. Even with the price drop, I'm still not conviced with the system...
Ugh, that game has absolutely horrible controls. *Holds up a crucifix* Keep it away!
  9.
Originally posted by Solid Snake Oh, I see. I must have gotten so used to you disagreeing with my post one way or another, that I automatically assumed I was in for some explaining and had not even noticed that you were actually agreeing with me, heh. I do hope that I can be forgiven for the slight misunderstanding. And yes, everything is cool. :blah:
I know how you feel. I was so used to you being wrong all the time, that I almost didn't realize that I was agreeing with you, lol. j/k Of course all is forgiven. Everyone makes mistakes. :toothy:
  10.
Originally posted by ZeroG214 However this information is rather old and there hasn't been any updates of this as far as I know...
I completely agree. I've already made a topic on this called Playstation 3 Talk. Basically we've covered all of this. All of this Playstation 6, Playstation 7 etc., speculation isn't really appropriate. The Playstation 9 commercial was basically Sony saying that they will still head the videogame industry in the future and that the PS2 is the start of something big in technology. We shouldn't make a mountain out of a mole hill by thinking that the PS9 is really in development right now, or anywhere close to a reality. We won't be seeing anything past PS2 for years (way less than ten, more like three). Thus, it's really pointless to go beyond PS3. As far as Metal Gear Solid 2's graphics go, yeah, they were nice, but I think that in the right hands the PS2 is capable of better. Heck, Metal Gear Solid 2 looked good because of small touches that improved the overall package. The textures or polygon counts weren't anything truly fantastic. So, yeah, if you want to read accurate facts about PS3 then read the old topic. This one is really just speculating on stuff that we won't see for a long, long time.
  11.
Originally posted by Solid Snake First of all, I do not see how my previous information is clouded when most of the time it appears as if you are refering to my writing as being correct. I do not deny that Sony would be upset about the alliance growing with Square and Nintendo, for reasons regarding from Square's developement in the beginning, to Sony owning 19% of their stock share. As for Final Fantasy, I can see how you may picture that as a title for down the road, but I was merely replying to the topic at hand which just happened to be Final Fantasy, not, as you say, about Square's possible first appearences on GameCube. Therefore, I was giving my expertise on how that could come about, rather then when. Yes, I did say that it might be about a year until completion, but that could be anyone's guess, there is no certainty. I am very excited for Square coming back, as a whole. Not only is this for GCN, but also for GameBoy Advance, which I hope (like you say) to see hook-ups. On topic, I would especially like to see connectivity for Final Fantasy, though I am unsure of how it would be done. One way or another, Square will come up with something, and I am positive that we will all one day be pleased with the outcome. :blah:
Hehe, I didn't mean that what you were saying was clouded. I meant that the situation as a whole is clouded. I didn' really try to directly debate anything you said. I quoted you to back up my own points. Is everything cool man? lol.
  12.
Originally posted by iggy the lowered the price cause noone will buy it cause it sucks!! and cause PS2 kills its soul
lol, After reading your post about Final Fantasy in the Nintendo forum and now this, you've really started to strike me as a fanboy, Iggy. :smooch: I could be wrong, maybe, but I'm willing to bet that the only system you own is the PS2 and that you don't have much experience with either GameCube or Xbox. Methinks if your parents went out and bought you one of those suckers, you'd be changing your tune quickly. I like PS2 a lot also, but I give the other systems their due too.
  13.
Originally posted by iggy squaresoft must be crazy to let FF games go to nintendo
Um, why is that? Don't forget that they started with the Famicom. ;) Anyway, they would have always been on Nintendo had they not stuck with the cartridge format with the N64. Square estimated that it would have taken 13 carts to fit FF7. In the end, it all came down to which hardware could satisfy Square and their amibitions.
  14. Nah, the whole series wasn't planned out at the beginning. There was no way that Toriyama could have predicted the overwhelming success of the series when he first started it. Anyway, the DBZ series was supposed to end on Namek when Gokou died. If you remember back, we specifically saw him blow up with Namek. However, due to fan demand, Toriyama went on with the series, which explains the plot hole where he found a ship at the last second. So, once again, I choose that it wasn't planned out and that's my final answer.
  15.
Originally posted by Solid Snake Much of this discussion has already been mentioned in previous threads, where quite a few details have been noted. For one, the Final Fantasys arn't going to be what they seem when porting to the GCN, so don't count on witnessing the same series on both PlayStation and GameCube. Each will have it's own FFs that are exlcusive to the platform. How do we know this? Because GameBoy Advance is garanteed a peice of FF history (probably I - IV, though IV was never released outside of Japan) and Nintendo specifically made it clear that there is no deal if GCN is not included. We are also sure that Sony is going to continue their exculsive FF series on their own console, which will not spread to others. This will most likely result in Final Fantasy Unlimited, an anime that had premiered in Japan, for GameCube. Either way, Square will be satisfying all you diehard Nintendo fans out there, and even if it may take nearly a year to complete, it will be worth it. :blah:
Hmm, yeah it's all still pretty much clouded. Rumor has it that some Sony reps are quite unhappy with Square's new interest in the GameCube platform. One would assume that Square wouldn't do anything to upset its business with Sony too much considering that Sony holds such a big share of Squares' stock. I really think that Square will ease its way into the deal and wait until it has a larger staff within GDS before it attempts a huge title, like Final Fantasy. But, considering that Akitoshi Kawazu is hte sole employee of GDS, it's a pretty safe bet that we'll be seeing games like SaGa Frontier and Legends of Mana make their way over to GameCube. Plus, we can't forget the promise of GameBoy Avance/GameCube connectivity in Square's games. So, don't really think of this deal soley on a Final Fantasy front everyone. I know it's an exciting prospectl, but I predict that we won't be seeing it for quite some time. Heck, almost anything is a possibility though, and Square has some other decent franchises (some of which I mentioned). Just be satisfied there's a deal and that the potential's there.
  16.
Originally posted by Sephiroth wwfe stands for world wrestling federation enterprise, not entertainment, I thought it was entertainment at first though....
lol, I'm confusing you too much. Okay, don't kill me, but now I think they actually made it stand for "entertainment" in the new name. WWFe was kinda their business name, but I think they use WWE (since it's their actual advertised name) to promote that they're entertainment. Heck, it could still be enterprises, but I think I heard them say entertainment last night. *kills WWF*
  17.
Originally posted by Sephiroth tyrant has been replaced at the end with sephiroth himself, you must defeat zombie tyrant for the secret yaoi book item, when you defeat sephiroth you will have access to the secret computer in the glove compartment of the truck by the fence, there lies unlimited amounts of yaoi which is needed to bring down umbrella, but be warned, sephiroth cannot die, only knocked out, so you may want to blow up umbrella hq to slow him down.... the james zombie was a pushover, I just tripped him as he stumbled towards me speaking something unintelligable about "otaku" and "cheese".... btw, does barry still say "jibble sandwitch"? that was the greatest line ever!
There is one more way that I know of to put Sephiroth down. It's tricky, but back in the mansion, under the rug in the main hall, there's a secret book. DON'T try to examine it, or your health level will go down to danger. When you get to the truck by the fence, deposit the secret book (Martha Stewart and Rosie O' Donald yuri) within the yaoi stash. Everyone knows that Sephiroth can't resist good yaoi, so when he comes after you, make sure you point him in the direction of the yaoi. Suffice to say, he'll be blinded temporarily giving you the chance to escape and see an alternate ending. And nope, the sandwhich line is deader than the zombies. Darn Capcom for taking out the best lines. Barry doesn't even do his ultra cool, "I've got this," while raising the colt python in the air. lol, I really miss, "We're old partners ya know." Mediocrity rules!
  18. Well, I don't get grounded because I'm an adult, but when I get bored I usually dress up in a cowboy outfit (though it's a little tight because it was my Halloween costume back from fifth grade) and attempt to ride the neighbors' dog. Hmmm, not really. Actually, I'm always on campus, with my friends, on the net, or at work, so I really can't get bored anymore. Drawing has always been a good way to kill boredom though.
  19. Wow, what a huge Raw. Flair made his expected heel turn, joining forces with the nWo and of course, we have the name change to WWE. I'm glad to see that the WWF is finally doing something to promote the nWo. It would have been pretty senseless to sign them for the big bucks, only to let the angle fail. Anyone see Hogan's motorcycle spot go bad? I can't believe it stalled. That had to be the most humiliating moment of his career. I almost cringed myself seeing that. Ugh, so embarrassing.... So, what do you guys think about "Get the 'F' out?" I would have much rather they kept it "WWFE" instead. To have so much history with a name, only to ditch is like it's nothing is insane. Darn World Wildlife Foundation (if that's what the "F" stands for, hehe).

    Spiderman

I just saw the movie today and thought that it was awesome. The special effects were simply mindblowing and helped me get into the movie. Some may think that special effects are just trivial little things or help a movie look nicer, but they were necessary for this movie. Seeing everyone's favorite neighborhood spider swoop from rooftop to rooftop was terrific and created a real sense of disbelief. Plus, the fight scenes were choreographed with painstaking detail. Some of the wrestling from Parker's early days as Spiderman look better than what I see on WWE nowadays. I was kinda impressed with Tobie Mcquire's perormance. Although he wasn't as witty as the traditional Peter Parker should be, he did a pretty good job in pulling off the role. What impressed me the most though, was how true the movie stayed to the comic book series. Simply said, it put X-men to shame. Sure, there are a few discrepancies (like how Parker got bit and how he doesn't use web cartridges) but overall it stayed true to its roots. I'm looking forward to the sequel. I just can't wait to see how Venom looks, if he's in. This movie proved that Hollywood can update classic costumes to make them look flashy without changing them into cheap black leather, like a lot of other films do.
  21. If you're a hardcore gamer, go out and get the Xbox. Although the system's future is a bit clouded, there are some real gems underneath the piles of crap out at the moment. Any of the games that DeathKnight suggested will do you just fine. Check out this thread to see even more games that would make great additions to your library (while helping you avoid the previously mentioned garbage).
  22.
Originally posted by Squashed Snail P.S. Great description CWB.... :)
Hey thanks, I'll be sure to let you know when I have to fight the Sephiroth zombie in order to obtain the secret yaoi book item. :toothy: Anyway, I can't wait to fight the Tyrant. After seeing the spiders and sharks, I'm just dying to do battle with the original badboy himself. Yep, that's one boss with the heart of a champion....
  23. Well, Square has stated that it would not jeopardize its relationship with Sony or disrupt future plans for the Final Fantasy franchise on Sony's console. Right now, it seems as if Game Designers' Studios's (the subsidary to produce titles under the deal with Nintendo) initial focus is the GameBoy Advance. So, huge titles like Final Fantasy might be safe with Sony for a while. Strongly rumored to appear on the GameBoy Advance, is Final Fantasy Tactics, though. Although it isn't a big new title, FFT is definitely an awesome game. Ah well, hopefully we'll see a new Super Mario RPG. Such a collaboration would rank right up there with anything else. ;)
  24. I figured that I would merge these two threads because we were talking about Xenosaga in here anyway. The fact of the matter is, that it's so far away that I'm concerned that discussion in a Xenosaga thread would trail off into Xenogears talk at this moment. Basically, it would be much easier to talk about both games right here for now since not many people are familiar with Xenosaga. As for the long wait, I assume that it's due to massive amounts of spoken dialouge and text. Rpgs have a tendency of enjoying very copious translation periods between release in Japan and the States because of how important the process really is. I would rather wait than play a screwed up translation of a good rpg. A messy translation can ruin the best of 'em.
  25.
Originally posted by Hybrid Yah, the movie was nothing like the game was, if you made a few ties into the game plot or story that would of been a bit better
Actually, it was a lot like the game, for a game to movie port, and did tie in with the current plot of the games. I've made references to that in my posts, so check them out if you wish. And Raganork, the heroine (wasn't Jill though) was definitely a negative aspect about the film. I mean, I guess it was okay that she kicked the dog's head because of the momentum she had and the dog's decomposing state, but she was built too much around sex appeal. There should have definitely been better casting there. I really don't see why people think it should be like the game though. If it were, it would be too predictable. Anyways, it wasn't perfect, but I still believe it's the best game to movie conversion yet.
