Anime Doesnt it Suck that Gohan becomes so weak?
Charles replied to hemmorhoid's topic in Otaku Central
Originally posted by RiffRaff Gohan does become weaker.but when the Rou-Dai Kaioshin trains him, he has the exact power of SSJ2 without transforming. he is weak until the mid-range of the Majin Buu saga. then he is equally as strong as Goku and Vejita
Acutally, I don't mean to nitpick, lol, but his power in mystic form is closer to SSJ3. Which, essentially, makes him a head over Vegita in terms of strength. But, if you think he's weak here, wait until you see him in DBGT. He's not much of a major player overall. -
lol, I wouldn't expect you to be able to beat them yet. Get farther into the game and power your party up more. Having spells that auto revive your party is a must.
Originally posted by Cloud And I always thought you had an obsession with kitty kats? Or did ya just forget them?
Me, obsessed with cats? Naw. lol. Really, I just coudn't think of a way to say that I'm addicted to them. Maybe addicted to petting them? I dunno. Oh well, this topic is really the cat's meow. Eureka, there we have it. I'm addicted to making stupid jokes about cats! :toothy:
Originally posted by Majora's Mask He's actually scared of people like the stupid mother f****r who posted this dumb a*s topic.
Well, like I said earlier, people shouldn't hate this guy--they shoud pity him. Keep in mind that the guy who posted this is fairly young. His ignorance is probably based on a lack of parental guidance and schooling. I bet that he was raised to think that homosexuality was evil and that gay people are horrible. Hopefully, he'll wisen up with age and accept people for who and what they are. Just remember, that it's the virtues instilled in us when we're young that matters. He has obviously been missing something.
But still...I find it disgusting that this kind of prejeduce is even allowed to grace the screens of the good, open-minded people who post here. It sickens me that the time where racists had to where goofy pointed hats and bear the scorn of good peolple everywhere.
I agree with you. People shouldn't have to put up with this nonsense. But, the fact is, this is just a taste of the real world. Ignoring the problem doesn't solve anything. It's facing the problem that matters. That's why there's a small part of me that wishes that this guy had stuck around, so that people could have wisened him up a little. Alas, there would have probably just been flaming and unintelligent bashing though. :worried:

I kinda feel left out. Wait, there are two things that I am addicted to. The first one is Wild Berry Gummi Savers. There's nothing better than kicking back in class and downing bag of them and washing it down with some chocolate milk. I guess that the next thing is Chinese food. Especially Chinese doughnuts.....
-
Oh yeah, Ledgic. He was the bodygaurd of King Don Kea. I think that he basically just up and leaves once he realizes Goku's true strength.
-
Well, the fact is that I doubt that those two morons could sense other peoples' ki. The uproar meant nothing, as the crowd was pretty much cheering the entire fight anyway. Also, think about it. They wouldn't have expected kids to fight like that. I'll bet that they weren't even paying attention to the matches.
Originally posted by Cloud Strife00 They also make a character seem tough, to me it works.
Oh yeah? Auron did not cuss and he came across as one tough son of a gun to me. His shady personality, reputation and strength got him over as tough. Furthermore, I can't for the life of me, remember Sephiroth cussing and he was probably the best villain to ever grace a Final Fantasy game.

Well, it's really sad when you see remarks like this because it just goes to remind one that we live in a society that is far from perfect. People who outright discriminate against others based upon differences in gender, ethnicity or sexual orientation are just ignorant. The best way I can look at this whole situation, is to determine that it's not this person's fault. He probably wasn't raised to be accepting of people. Even more disheartening, is the fact that there are many more like that. Instead of teaching useless crap like phys ed in school, there should be anti-discrimination courses. However, I will look at what he said and take great offense to it. I'm not gay, but what he says really gets something stirring inside me. I don't like when people bash one another with derogatory terms and say things like You People. I may not be part of a minority, but I can imagine how it feels to have other people try to make you ashamed of who or what you are. It can't be a good feeling. Most of all, I can't realize why people are like that. Wouldn't it just be easier to accept one another for who we are, then to make each other feel bad? I'm really sorry for this person and I just cringe imagining how many people like that are in political power. :worried: Pfffft being anti anything that is human expression or ethnicity is being anti civil. Heck, I'll never drink Snapple again, even. Why? Because they fund the KKK. Unacceptable, I say. Let's take a step forward in existence instead of going backwards.
Originally posted by Sephiroth I completely agree, I have yet to see anyone over the age of 14 to call ANY nintendo console a "kiddies" system, simply because they can appreciate that nintendo are all about gameplay, which at the end of the day, is the reason most of us play games in the first place....
Hahaha, you're wrong. Ask any Microsoft or Sony rep and I'm sure that they'll tell you just how much of a childrens' system the GameCube is. :p So, remember people, next time one of Bill Gate's or Sony's henchmen pull up to you in a suspicious black car, just say no.
Originally posted by Transtic Nerve I don't think people will buy drugs for their own children. I mean, there's not alot of parents who buy cigarrettes for their children. And again. it's their own fault. If you wanna do drugs, die, and whatever, then fine. Be gone, I have no need for your people's stupidity.
lol, I guess my sentence was kind of awkward. When I said, "If someone buys drugs instead of food for their children," I didn't mean that they would buy drugs for them instead of food. Basically, I've watched and read plenty of news stories about parents who have neglected their children in order to feed their own addictions. Plus, I highly doubt that a drug addict parent would be able to raise their kid effectively at all. And as you said, they would be endangering the kids just from doing drugs around them.

I don't know about Spy Hunter being a must own title. I've heard mixed reviews about it. Seeing as how it's a love it or hate it kinda game, I'd say that it's rental first material. Then again, that's just my humble opinion. At the very least, it looks like a quick fix of fun.
Originally posted by James Hm...Rockstar has never developed any software at all. Infact, Rockstar only came into existence within the last two years or something lol. DMA was responsible for those games...it also developed another game on N64 which wasn't mentioned, called Body Harvest. It's been a very interesting developer, though none of its games were particularly good until the GTA series arrived. And now it's been renamed to Rockstar Studios...bleh.
Oh my goodness, you have me thinking about reopening this. But in the end, I doubt it would be worth it. Hmm, I actually looked up that info (obviously). On the site it lists them as the developer. Here's the link for anyone who wants to personally check it out.
Originally posted by Lady Macaiodh i think libertarian... we should only be punished for crimes against others. smoking weed/doing drugs only counts as a crime against the self.
Crimes against the self? Well, I'm not too sure about that. To be honest, drugs affect those surrounding the user as well. Addicts will do anything for a fix, including hurting the ones they love (or don't). If drugs were legalized, I could easily picture families falling apart.... Even if they're not legalized, I feel that people should be punished for drugs. If someone buys drugs instead of food for their children, I'd say that more than one crime is being committed.
Originally posted by Smashed Ice I have posted a thread, to find the answer to a TWO questions. 1- Are there any other good rockstar games for the playstation 1? 2- Are the not-so-common Loaded & Reloaded products of the Rockstar wackos? Please post my answers, and i need sum fun entertaining not too much of a plot games for my boring PS1?
1) I'll do you one better than just naming mere PSX games. I will show you the better part of Rockstar's entire history. Rockstar Games Games Developed by Rockstar · Austin Powers: Oh, Behave! 2) Interplay published the Loaded games and Gremlin Interactive developed them. With that, I am going to close this thread. In a nutshell, I answered your two questions (which was the whole point of this thread). Basically, I can see where this whole thing is headed. We've already had enough discussion on State of Emergency and GTA3. Topic Closed. Note to Darkeldar201: Nothing big, just try to stop taking up so much empty spaces in your posts. Writing A Story (Book 1 of 3 in a series im writing)

Hey, it's pretty nice, but you might want to space it out a little bit more. It looks kinda cluttered. ;) -
Originally posted by BulmaVegeta1 Hey, how come you guys get the bonus DVD? No fair!! That's it, I'm packing my bags! Here I come England!!!!
They get the extra stuff because they had to wait an extra six months for the game. Just think about how old FFX is now, considering that it's been out in Japan since July 19th of last year. I'd say that it would be unfair if they didn't get a little something for their patience. By the by, if you do go to England, pick me up a copy of Shenmue II. I would be happy.

Hey, it's really nice to hear about something good coming out of the church, right now. I can bet that you won't hear any stories like that from the media anytime soon. I'm glad you had a good time! :toothy:
Originally posted by Pastbyer :ball: Mmmmmmmm Cookie........ Please post up something else... please? (It's my b-day today!):therock:
*sigh*:smirk: Well, no one can ever say that I don't love my people, lol. Okay, I'll make something up on the spot. Happy birthday! :toothy: Otherworldly joys, symphonies of jubilation, copulate and give birth to nature's gathering. Racing through brush, curling against willing pine, the wind purrs with satisfaction, creating acoustics, devoid of human reach. Thin branches, green in hue, reach out; newly blossomed buds blow in the wind, delivering thoughtful acclamation. "To what do we owe this honor?" one may ask themself. The answer lies not in the tiptoes of nearby summer approaching, but in slapping waves of flapping fish, engaging in jovial bouts of tag. Holding Mother Nature's gentle hand, thin and delicate, let us take a walk, for there are no fences between these neighbors. Few live; most exist, for little take notice of this special jamboree. Looking up at starlight nights, watching birds in carefree flight, feeling soil inderneath my feet, I dine on Mother Earth's endless treats. Man, pursuing strength of machine, little realizes that it is better to walk among mountains, than to move them. Reading between the lines, of an ancient oak tree, on finds that "There is more to life than having everything." Small patches of grass carpet my sancturary of solitude. When the morning air is just right, dew drops bead off of berries, dark and ripe. There are no dark days in my hidden place, my humble abode. Behind clouds, awaits patiently a sunny face. When everything is working to a rhythm, it is not so hard to observe the maestro. The difference between a flower and a weed, is how we harvest inner growth, so fly away with me, unto nature's rebirth. Whew, there you have it. I hope you liked my freestyle. :whoops: -
Pull my shorts down and call me Chilly Willy the Penguin, but that seemed more like a joke than a pun to me. In any case, it's some good stuff though. :toothy:

You know, in Holland drugs are legal. They have clinics where heroine addicts can go and get a fix for free, if need be. And, if you think about it, the United States spends a fortune with campaigns against drug use. One would like to believe that , should drugs be legalized, countries could turn a profit taxing them. Heck, even the dangerous world of underground drug trafficing would die down a little. My main problem with the idea is that, well, I don't think it would work in most places, lol. Imagine people having a nice little cocaine break during work, coming back stoned, and cutting their fingers off in front of a machine. Simply put, work habbits would take a turn for the worse. Everyone knows of the problems accompanying drunk driving, no? You know, around 40,000 people a year die from it, right? Well, imagine how many automobile accidents we would see in densely populated urban areas, should drugs be put into legal circulation. On top of that, I would imagine that children would have much easier access to drug paraphernalia. Sorry for not commenting on the episode (missed it) but I took notice to where this drug talk was going and just had to put my two cents in. :p

I'm going to make this short and sweet with an example. There are many Disney movies that are pure classics that contain absolutely no cuss words. By the same token, there are tons of crappy rated R movies filled to the brim with them. Complexity in story and character development are what matter--not naughty language.:whoops:
Originally posted by bignate dawg I figure, if they allready have an edited version of GTA3 for the PS2, then they would release the edited version for the GCN. That's if, and only if, the game even comes out for the Game Cube.
Bah, none of the North American versions of the game are edited. Furthermore, censoring in any version is minimal. It's safe to say that the developers would not sacrifice content should the game come to GameCube. It's as simple as that.
