1. Well, I believe that it's possible. With each passing generation humans become bigger, stronger, faster and more intelligent. Air pollution has to figure into the formula as well. As the ozone layer depletes, people adapt to different climates and environments. If people do evolve it will be a very slow process that will take millions, if not billions of years.
2. Have you ever played DBZ: Hyper Dimension for Super Famicom? I found that one rather enjoyable. It was kind of short on the fighters but nontheless a good fighter.
3.
Originally posted by Akito For one, if u have no enemies, and then someone decides to be ur enemy, and they know how to do this, then my friend, ur screwed, cause u won't be expecting anything, and they will know just what to do. And on the second note, every time i read one of ur long useless replys, my IQ drops 10 points.
Yeah I know Akito. I feel for you man. Thinking and using logic must hurt your brain. I dun know what I was thinking, but everytime I read what "u" say, I feel kinda sick to my stomach. This little game you play with "Leader of Evil" crap is almost as incoherent as your posts. Oh know, I dun didn't just say that! You're a little hacker who likes to play make pretend tough guy and that's all. Anyway, I don't have a clue as to what you were saying. I'd have a better chance making sense of Lassie than your "reasoning." And your math is a little off. If your IQ dropped by 10 points, you'd be brain dead! Oh snap! Tell me I dun't just say that! *tumbleweed rolls by*
4. I want to know how having enemies is a good thing. Furthermore, purposely fighting in a crowded area is not a good idea. The surrounding people will be calling for blood and they'll influence your behavior. Fighting is dumb, but you'll lower yourself even more by fighting based on the influence of others. Like I said, it's not the solution to your problem, but rather the beginning to others. It's best to leave this girl behind or you'll appear to care about her friendship and to her you'll appear weak. You said that she shrugged you off, so why not return the favor? It's as if she didn't care, and you still do. She'll see herself as superior if you keep fretting over her.
5. Oh my God, I bet that this thread is going to become really dirty and outlandish..... Anyway, here's a cheesy one.. "Are you tired? Because you've been running around my mind all day."
6. Sad fact? I say it's a terrific fact! Look at it this way: If humans can't get along based on a few differences such as color and culture, do you really think we'd get along if there were MAJOR differences? It seems kind of like a science fiction book if you think about it. If there were people with horns or wings, or even scales we'd have big problems. Many people are too ingnorant to respect the differences in others or just too immature. If we have a hate group in existence today that's based on bashing people with darker skin than themselves, I shudder to think what we would have if everyone was truly different. The only sad thing is when you realize that in a world where we're raised to believe that we're unique, people actually hate one another based on differences.
7. Well, it's clear that you don't want to remain friends with this girl, but you have to ask yourself a question: "Do I want her as an enemy?" Just because you no longer "like" someone, doesn't mean that you have to potentially fight them. You even said yourself that you are unsure of your feelings. Just put her behind you and move on. There is no reason to drag this out any further and lower yourself. If you don't bother with her, your relationship will be truly abolished. On the other hand, if you punk her out, you've just recruited her as an enemy. What is the point really? Neither of you will be happy. Both of you will continue to talk about one another and exchange menacing glares. It all comes down to this: Are you grown up enough to just leave it alone?
8.
Originally posted by Cibo I think its in the alpha series because people like Cammy and Balrog are in it.
Actually people like Cammy came in around Super Street Fighter 2. Balrog was in the first Street Fighter 2, I believe. I don't think he was playable though.
9. I really want to try one of these for once and see if I like it. name: Mephistopheles age: 1000 years old race: unknown height: 6 foot 7 inches weight: 327lbs description: Tall with a mild muscular build, Mephistopheles appears to be a normal human. His long black rests delicately on his shoulders and flows down his back. His hazel eyes give off an unsettling intensity while remaining timid. The man's face is a mask of peacefulness; his smile seems almost inviting. bio: Mephistopheles is an enigma to all, going and coming when he pleases. His true motives remain a mystery to all. stats: strength:500,000 speed: 1,000,000 agility:2,000,000 intelligence: 500,000 ki:1,000,000
10. I believe that there are some systems that are hard or nearly impossible to look at objectively, such as the *points accusing finger* Atari Jaguar. Every system has it's pros and cons, but the Jaguar had very little of the former. The support for the system was just atrocious and the games reflected it. The controller was actually worse than the Xbox controller, which is today the most hated first party controller known to man. The Sega CD and 32X were pretty pathetic attempts to cash in as well. Especially the 32X, seeing as how it was only meant to tide over gamers until the debut of the Saturn.
11. I'm pretty sure that they either stopped manufacturing the game or they might have to in the very near future. I remember hearing this on the local news not too long ago. Just because they stopped making it, doesn't mean that there's not a fairly generous supply left. Anyone's free to correct me on this issue, but the news says what the news says.......
12. "On the darkest night, the stars shine most brightly." I hope that your friend is recovers soon.
13. Hey don't forget the word, puggry! Everyone knows about the word, puggry!
14. If I post a game already posted by someone else just disregard it. I'm too lazy to read the others and make sure. (PS2)Grand Theft Auto 3: Mature (PS2)Final Fantasy X: Teen (Xbox)Project Gotham Racing: Everyone (Xbox)HALO: Mature (DC and PS2)NBA 2K2: Everyone (Xbox)Bloodwake: Teen (Xbox)Dead or Alive 3: Teen (Every platform)Madden NFL 2002: Everyone (PC, PS2 and Xbox)Max Payne: Mature (PC and PS2)Half Life: Mature (PS2)WWF SmackDown: Just Bring It: Teen There you go.
15. I guess I'll have a go at this if it ever gets off the ground. Too bad there's no Belsaid Aurochs, but you can't have it all, right? I'll go with Shiva's Ice Demons.
16. Well yeah, of course they could have added analog shoulder buttons and such, but the overall design works great. The GameCube controller is quite comfortable, but it's layout has proved unnatural in various games. For instance, some have found fault in using the C-stick for D-linemen's special moves in Madden 2002. Also, the big gas button in Extreme G3 makes it a bit harder to use the other face buttons. Even Tony Hawk 3 had it's minor problems, such as a tricky revert. In all fairness, these are minor gripes and some actually like the trickier revert in THPS3. However, the PS2 controller seems to work wonderfully with almost anything. 2D fighters are it's biggest problem, but we're finding less of those nowadays. Ah well..I miss the Saturn controller......
17.
Originally posted by King Penn I don't really see a reason for buying it on the xbox if I already have it on the pc :p besides, improved graphics ain't good enough to warranty a purchase if you already have the game on the pc, if it had some extra features, then I may consider it
I can't blame you if you already have the PC game. I'm in the same boat with you there. The graphics aren't really any better either. Ah well, maybe we'll see a Max Payne 2 for the consoles that'll be worth getting...
18. I was suspended one time because I pulled the prinicpal's wig off during a pep ralley. Seriously, Mrs. Rubin didn't like it very much.....
19. I've already moved into the wonderful world of higher education. I'm a Rutger's man!! I've heard that we have the worst football team known to man though. Anyway, I'm majoring in Graphic Design. If I change my major, I'll become a writer.
20. I'm an American living in the over populated kingdom of New Jersey. Someday I plan to reign over Turkey as their stern, but loving Prime Minister.
21.
Originally posted by shibatku I know why didn't they make ps2 controllers at least diffrent shape I thinks thats stupid judt to make a ps1 controller black and put ps2 on it but they can do whatever they want as long as it works.
Actually, "If it isn't broke, don't fix it." I applaud Sony for keeping the general controller design intact. By keeping the design familiar, the Playstation 2 is user friendly to consumers. Furthermore, out of all three next gen consoles, most agree that PS has the best controller. Better yet, since the PSX controllers are compatible with PS2, consumers aren't forced to by totally new ones. The only thing wrong with it, as previously mentioned in this thread, is the lack of levels of sensitivity.
22. ........I believe that it is impossible to remove all of the violence from that game. Maybe they just mean they will remove the blood, bad language and suggestive themes. Even with that, the whole essence of the game would be removed. I feel that the gritty atmosphere is a large part of the fun in Grand Theft Auto 3 That being said, I have heard that manufacturing of the game has ceased in America because of the content. I'm just wondring how a Grand Theft Auto 4, which is planned, will ever be released at this rate.

24. Bah! Using tricks is lame. I'd feel dirty if I didn't beat the game fair at least once. Combat is a large part of an rpg and ruining that takes away the fun.
25. It sounds to me like a case of child abuse. A parent has no right to treat their ten year old daughter that way. The mental anguish that she is subjecting you to is even furthered by actually throwing objects in your direction. There is absolutely no excuse for that. My guess is that she's a raging alcoholic by the way you described her. There is only so much that you can take in this situation. Is there any way you can turn to your father or another family member for help? Seriously, you need to get out of that situation and fast.
