I couldn't figure this guy out from the get go. At first I thought he was just another villain. Then as the shows went on, he at times fought along side Domon and even gave advice to him on how to fight better. Then I hear he wanted to save the earth and asked then why is he fighting the good guys? Then he says he wants to kill all the humans in the process. Ok this guy is crazy. His intentions and how he came to it are certainly noble, but he really lost it if he says he'll take out the humans too. I think he would've achieved his noble belief if he hadn't spent so much time fight Domon and ther others. -
I've read the latest Electronic Gaming Monthly magazine earlier and they had an Halo 2 exculsive article... By god, the stuff I've read is damning and haven't even been reported yet... I don't have the time to post all of it now but I'll be sure to edit this post with the details later when I finish reading the article and have time....

Only book I know was already mentioned...Animerica. As far as subscription goes, according to this 2 year old postcard order its $50 for one year and $96 for two. And if you with with the Animercia Extra option, its $83 bucks for a year. I always wanted to subscribe but I only seen one book and that was a LONG time ago (2 years I think, I liked the one I saw though cause of the art and they reviewed the Perfect Grade Wing Zero Custom model, which by the way, was the first time I saw that thing.) Anyone still read Animerica around here? If so, is it still any good?

I saw the movie also and didn't like it at all.... It was just boring. Also I've never seen so many hero's die.... Of all of them (even the bad guys) only the main due was left alive. It didn't make any sense to me either so I just gotta say Blah to the movie. I have yet to see the series though....

All I can do is play Old McDonnald on the paino >_>;;

Here's my two cents. I say its a good buy man. You get a PSONE, a PS2, a DVD Player, a CD Player and maybe even a VCR and a computer in the feature. (Sony plans to give the PS2 Hard Drive the ability to record TV shows. Rumor even has it that it can do that even while you're playing a game) Forget the spec numbers. By far the PS2 has the most games I'd rather play than the GCN and the Halo-Box. (Halo is the only game I liked on the Xbox so far:confused: ) And not only do you have great games now, but there's still more to come later this year and the Greatest Hits programs is a plus cause some of the best games only cost an easy $30 bucks now (in the U.S. anyway.) Wear and Tear: I guess that depends on you buddy. Alot of people hasn't had any serious problems with their PS2's yet and some had them since they were released. I have the SPCH-3500 model. Or rather the console they sold when the Gran Tursimo 3 Racing package was out. I had it for a year and it finally showed signs of problems sometime ago. According to a SONY tech, he says that my PS2 has problems reading the disks and therefore takes unacceptable long load times and even game crashes if I'm unlucky. Exactly how it became like this I don't know.... but I do have one very strong answer: My little brother.. He leaves the PS2 on pause for long periods of time.... (Don't worry, he paid for his crimes.... ) The fan issue isn't a factor for me... I barely hear it. I also tend to keep my ps2 as clean as possible so dust doesn't build up on the fan and the vents. (Those anti-dust sprays for electronics are the best) As for my PS2 problem, Sony's techs are so nice that they decided to waive the repair fee for me even though my warranty expired months ago and all I has to do is send my ps2 console to them with other requested info and they'll get it running back to normal and maybe even suped up (as in newer drivers, parts, etc...) Unforunately.... the time it takes to repair is too long.... 15 business days AFTER they receive it and then 7-10 days to ship it back via UPS Ground (no express). I sent mine in last week Overnight postage so I should be getting mine back until sometime in November. Til then, I've been down graded to Dreamcast, PSX, N65, SNES, GBA, and Genesis status.... a good time to revisit my classics.:) DVD play back... I often hear depending on which Drivers you have, depends on the performance and which DVD's you can play. Mine had a version 1.2 and I didn't have any problems. The 1.4 did however according to IGN.com All and all, I say that the newest is the best ones out there since they contain parts that perform better. Last I check any SPCH-3900 or higher are the good ones.

I really like how funny this show is. Inu Yasha is so funny and I feel bad for him whenever someone screams Sit Boy! LOL Poor guy. Anyway, I like the music of the show too. I guess that means I better go look for the Japanese verison now ^_^. I have no comment about the voice acting. They seem ok to me, but I really can't tell until I hear the Japanese voices to see if its good enough for their character...

I've got to watch this series already....:twitch: I went to my local anime provider in Chinatown some time ago (yep Hunter, THAT place) but they confused the hell out of me when I tried to buy a tape. They told me the series was only like 5 or shows long and they asking for $5 bucks a show! Now I hear that there's way more episodes and now, I'm lost. Tell me exactly how many shows, OVA's and Movies are out there, cause I REALLY want to see this series already!:bawl:

What movies did I like??...... Lets see Macross Plus was great. Cowboy Bebop: Knocking on heaven's door. Last movie I saw was Zeiram: The confrontation on the Sci-fi channel a long time ago. Thats about it. Galaxy Express 999 was good too really, I didn't care if it was old or not (since I didn't know really!) but hey, anime is anime, and if its good to hell with age!

OK the trailer I'm referring to is new. Its different from the one released back in the summer time since it has some parts of the intro movie. It also shows the other frames in the trailer and even shows how the new animation is as well as some other effects I haven't seen yet. Gotenks, the Orbits you was refering to... well it also shows the mech that uses that weapon: Ardjet. Like I said... this trailer is the one used for the Tokoyo Game Show (TGS). Its in one the preview section at IGN and click the link at the bottom that says TGS Trailer. So far from what I've seen and read.. the majority of the problems in the first game are fixed. As for length... no one knows. The development team says that they are fully aware of all the faults it in the first game... lets just hope Length is one of them....

Wow Domon. A perfect grade model doesn't cost $2,000! On average they cost like $250 in some places. I have the Perfect Grade Wing Zero Custom model for a bargin of $150 through my local anime provider. Perfect grades are a pain to put together. It took me a good week to mine together (I wanted it to be perfect) but the end result is just damning. Also that Gundam Unit 03 with that thing it rides is great too. Funny thing is that it isn't a Perfect grade but its the most expensive model I've seen cause it comes with SO MANY PARTS!!!! As much as I want it.. it hurts my wallet too much. My other model is a High Grade Gundam X Divider. Not as cool as my Wing Zero but good enough. Took an hour to put him together.

I was rolling around the net earlier today and came across a new ZOE 2 trailer from TGS. I was expecting it to be the same trailer that was realeased back during the summer but it turns out this one had entirely new screens. By god, what I saw was incredible. The action, GFX, and gameplay was amazing. I didn't like the first ZOE but it looks like I'm gonna love this one... Its just driving me crazy that the game won't be released until Spring!!!!!!:bawl: Anyway, I'm not gonna link the page cause I don't wanna break any rules until I get an ok from a Mod. For those who did see it... what ya think? Cool huh?
Originally posted by SuruBlu Linear cannon? how do you get that, I'm working on the mission to get the Karwasawa(sp?) right now, i get all the way to the end where they launch the missles, and then i die :( Can you give me some advice? Oh and I too believe AC3 is the best one so far, and that link thing somebody was talking about, allows you to hook up 4 PS2s together to get 4 ppl to play. AC3 also has alot of small graphical enhancements esp. on the weapons, oh one thing you forgot zero, some of the weapons(mostly ones that take up your arms) have changable firing modes, cool indeed!
Sure, I'll tell ya what I can.... Lets see.. How DID I get the Cannon???? It was in the shop after I did a certain mission.... Its a back weapon thats takes up both shoulders of the Core. 10 rounds, energy weapon, 5828 attack power!. Recoil and accuracy is a pain though...and you gotta be kneeling to fire that thing. Tips: Try and use your beam sword when you can as well as an energy gun of some kind since ammo costs alot this time around. Fit your mech with a weapon to fit any situation like a machine gun, a rocket launcher, and a missle launcher. For extentions, if you got a heavy mech, use the part that lets you turn faster. If not then use something else the missle interceptors if you can afford it. I usually go with beam swords and always sell your old generator for something better. Also if you can, use both the 1000 ammo machine gun and the howitzer (left arm weapon), its a really cool mix. I defeated everyone in the arena with just these two weapons. As for getting the Kawasara, I don't have it yet nor did an attempt. I keep hearing that best way to get is to memorize where the cannons are at and destory them as fast as you can. (You can only get it if you beat the mission within a certain time limit - I forget what) Oh and if you have troble in the arena with any mech that just stays in the air... fight in a tight area like the parking lot. They're sitting ducks when they can't fly over you;) I didn't know about the firing modes for those gun arms. I think anyone who has them will lose automatically. They just plain suck. And you're a little wrong about the 4 player thing. You can have 4 players with just 2 ps2's not 4.

Argh.... the more I hear about this game.. the more I wanna play it and I can't!! Two days ago I sent my PS2 in for repairs and Im gonna be PS2-less for the next 4 weeks!!!!!:bawl: And by the minute I'm being brain washed and even downloaded the theme song!!! AHHHHHHH!!!!! I've gotta keep my twisted mind intact!!!! *thinks evil thoughts*

Internet slang doesn't bother me at all. To me, its just a way of someone being themselves. You may hate it, but you can't force someone to change it just because "you" hate it. Now, I haven't heard anyone say words like "izzle" or "herre" around my area. Especially in high media areas like New York and instead alot of people I've met actually say some pretty high level words. (Maybe its the college influence..... )Perhaps the only thing I say I hate about slang is when someone uses alot of curse words. I may hate it, but I respect the person because thats how he/she can be comfortable.

Let me help you guys out. I have all three AC game on the PS2. Now you guys are right about AC2 and AC2:AA being the same since AA is just an expansion. The game is great since you can transfer your old mech from AC2 as well as any "human plus" codes into AA. The game also has 93 single player missions and 7 two player missions. Only drawbacks in that AA doesn't have an arena mode nor it has any real story but its all good. Now as for AC3. This game is the best of the 3. The game does have an Arena mode, two actually. One is the traditional one on one battle. The other, is a tag team battle that is only unlocked after beating the game. All the parts in the game are new so you no longer can transfer your old mech from any of the previous 2 AC games. The game has about 50 missions that branch meaning you can only do certain missions depending on the ones you previously decided on. Now there are 2 types of cores. There is the Over Boost core (OB) which were in the last 2 games. Basically they give you a burst of speed for a few seconds, great for dodging. The other is new, Exit Orbit (EO). These have no Over boost but rather launches a small pod that either shoots or defends you. They require ammo, but its energy based so you can recharge the pod if it runs out of power. Only negative point is like the OB, it sucks away your energy, so use with caution. Other new things is that you can go overweight from the start. Previously, in order to go into battle with weapons that go beyond the maxium weight of your bi-peds (hover base, tank tread, etc.) you had to finish the game first. However if you do go overweight, your mobility and speed will suffer GREATLY. In the last 2 games, if you went OW, it wasn't a big deal, this time around it becomes a burden. Thankfully, the game allows you to detach any useless weapons at any time. So say, if you run out of missiles, you can detach the launcher to make your Core faster. You can detach all weapons and extensions from your main weapon to your back weapons. As for your left arm. Traditionally, you usually have a sword or a sheild as your left arm weapon. This time you can change that and attach other weapons from a flamethrower to a small grenade launcher (a howizter). Its said you can also put another gun but I have yet to obtain that weapon.... oh and uh speaking of weapons some of them are really wicked. The Linear Cannon ownz...... Sorry, some of the Beam saber weapons are the same. Just that some are stronger than the other. They even went as far as removing the duel Beam saber arms from AC2. The game is very strategy based now. If your carelessly just go into a mission and waste as much ammo as you can..... it WILL hurt your savings. Ammo costs alot in this game and it took me a while before I was able to afford decent parts. Whats more is that the game ranks you on your performance. F is the lowest while S is the highest. Obtaining an S isn't easy. While its not impossible, you must decide on what to slap your core with for any up coming missions. If you do well, you will be rewarded with bonus missions, extra cash and even better parts. If you find a mission that seems to be to hard to do alone, depending on the mission, you can hire help. You can have another AC, an MT or air support in some of the missions, but of course at a price. Lastly, remember the "human plus" code from AC2? Well its back but not without being changed itself. You can no longer have both Optional parts and the human plus since, HP is now a optional part. The stuff the HP can do is pretty much the same as in AC2 but you won't be able to use any other Optional part since the HP takes up ALL the optional part slots no matter what core you choose. So in other words, the "Ultimate Mech" isn't possible anymore. Thats pretty much the low down on AC3. It may sound like it sucks but its still a great game. Controls are exactly the same as ALL the other AC games so those who played AC2 and such should know what to expect. Sorry the game still doesn't have analog control and it doesn't go online. For the online feature though...... stay tuned for Armored Core: Project Sigma.....

Just came back from the Megaman X7 thread, now to give an update here. The offical name of this game is Rockman.EXE Transmission!! (In Japanese of course) Now rumor has it that Both Battle Network 3 and this GCN game will be able to link up via the GCN-GBA adapter. Now it hasn't been confirmed but judging by the pics, its a good theory. Now EXE 3 is said to be release later this year (winter most likely) in japan as well as Megaman X7. No word yet on the GCN game nor any additional information but its a safe bet it too will be realeased along with the other two Megaman games. Now as for the EXE games. I say they are great. Certainly in a league all its own, since every other Megaman game is pretty much the same. As for its gameplay, its something you didn't expect because its the first game to have a fighting system such as that. That system is very Japanese influenced (they have way more games like that) and it wasn't until the first EXE game that the battle system was introduced in the states. Any if you don't like it, I totally recommend Megaman Zero. Its gameplay is the same as that of the X games but with new stuff. *cough*beingabletousetwoweaponsatonce*cough*

Don't waste your time Semjaza, there isn't much info out there besides what I'm gonna say. The game was really announced back during E3 and besides what you just mentioned, it takes place sometime between X6 and Megaman Zero. No word yet on the story but whatever it is it better be good. Why? Because Zero is in the game too. Due to events in X6, he shouldn't be, so right away many fans fear the game is already going to bomb unless it makes sense. Anything thing is that the game is said to be 2 players. Thats right 2. However that too is still unclear on how a 2 player mode will be used. Thanks to the new "Duel Hero System" that the game has, players are said to execute combos with both X and Zero. So no one knows yet if there will be 2 players on screen at the same time or if one player goes in first and just taps a button to call his friend to take over. (a la Marvel Vs. Capcom) Lastly the game is on the PS2 and is supposed to be realeased this Winter in Japan. Also, to see this game in action, there is video of it as well. Finding it is another story....

9/11, that day is certainly still fresh in people's minds. Like Anna and Vegitto said, I would say to move on as well. But some people can't. I live in New York and there is not one person who doesn't know EXACTALLY what they did on that day. I wasn't anywhere near the WTC at the time but I did see both towers fall in front of my eyes. I was one of the lucky few who didn't lose anyone I know but just about everyone else I know did. A few days later I volunteered to help out at the site and believe me, it didn't look like New York at all. All I needed was a gun and I swear I'll think I'm at war. The expression I had is just like the one in my Avatar (points to Zero Avatar). Its just incredible to see it in person and you can't help saying "the carnage" so I can understand why some can't forget. The patriotism the country had after that was great and then it died down a bit after a month later. So this anniversary was both a day to remember and renew our patriotism.

It does affect you in a way and over a long time it lead me to a nervous break down. I don't consider myself famous at all and I kinda like it that way both Online and Off. I just want to let people know that I am here.

I had the game and the network adapter since the launch date. Single player wise, its good. Its really cool being able to talk to the computer to tell them what to do. Sometimes they don't listen which is a pain but its all good. Some of the missions are really fun and the weapons are awesome. My fav is the M16 with the grenade luncher:tasty: Now for online play. WOW. This is awesome. The other players are really fun to play with and its really cool to talk to them with the headset. But there are some negative points. For starters only those with broad band connections can play (DSL or Cable mostly). Anyone with 56k's are out of luck, however I am hearing reports that somehow 56k's are getting into the network when they aren't supposed to. Even so, if you do managed to get in, you'll lag so much its not fun at all. The server problems are still being ironed out. As far as I know, the player rankings option is offline and sometimes during gameplay, the server might just boot you from a game or the voice chat feature goes down. This really isn't too bad since its the game that matters and not the other features. This is actually an improvement since the launch since some people at first couldn't log in or get booted off the game 5 minutes after they began! Lastly the biggest negative is that its been confirmed that cheats work online. Meaning people can use their gamesharks to shoot through walls, unlimited heath, etc. This one thing pretty much destroys the game. I haven't seen any yet but the possibility is there. Anyway, besides that, this is really a great multiplayer game. Again the SOCOM team is working on getting those bugs fixed so they won't last long. Besides, its was expected since all online games do tend to have problems within its first month of release. (So expect FFXI to have ALOT of problems). Oh and anyone is wondering, I am ZeroG214 in SOCOM so if you wanna get fragged, look for me in one of the US East or EU West servers;) As for the headset, I say it will work on any USB compatible computer.
